Google
Best pupusas I've had!! Absolutely delicious, flavorful, and filling. I predict many visits to Emily's in my future.

Google
The pupusas were delicious! I had them made from Chicharron and they are gooood! Maybe a little more cheese than I'm used to but still recommend it. I can normally eat four but three is enough at this place meaning they're generous with their proportions. All items are reasonably priced. The inside of the restaurant is clean and had a good climate.

The food here is so bomb! This place is easily missed, so you definitely need to pay attention or you’ll miss the turn. They offer many options, but pupusas are their specialty! Make sure you try the pupusas!!! I also tried their elote and platanos, and they do not disappoint! The food is inexpensive and so delicious. Stop by and give them a try, you will be glad you did! The staff are super friendly, they will make you feel right at home.

Google
Delicious Pupusas, El Salvador's twist on tortillas, among many other delicious dishes. Don't be shy, just go get one, 2$ each and you won't get better or more food for 2$. Bean and cheese are my favorite. Chicken is very good also. Friendly staff, come in and practice your Spanish, they don't mind at all. They have real sugar Cokes, Jarritos and the pineapple Fanta flavor that's only available in establishments like this. I feel like I've walked into Central America when I arrive and always leave happy. Call in your order 15 minutes ahead to skip the wait since they are made fresh for every order.

The Pupusas are great I highly recommend them it's a family friendly place and you have to try there pastelitos too.. the pink drink is called Cebada a great juice from El Salvador (which is my favorite one)

Google
Great pupusas and service. A wonderful place to be. There are a couple of televisions-- something to keep in mind if you're not fond of noise-- but otherwise comfortable and cozy. I am grateful for Pupuseria Emily's proximity to several bus lines as well.

Yelp
From the outside and location, you wouldn't expect much until you actually try their food. This place is a pupusa gem! Tried their jalapeño and cheese and pork and cheese pupusas for lunch today and their pupusas did not disappoint! Flavorful with a good amount of filling. Also, their curtido was really good as well. Their wall and to-go menus were a little confusing since not all pupusa options were listed. The in house menu had the options listed (with English translation). Pointing out they're only doing to-go orders due to the pandemic. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Great pupusas and tortas! Not my favorite curtido but definitely nowhere close to the worst. Speaking Spanish is a big bonus, but the waitstaff were patient with my Spanglish. Clean and filled with lots of murals and family art.

Yelp
Please don't come here, AVOID AT ALL COST! The food is probably better just for pick up but for dinning in that's a big no no. The waitress was more interested in "attending" a man sitting with her than the clients that came in. She messed up our order which btw was not touched or eaten & she still decided to charge us for it. When the order was put in she was looking over at the man the whole time making faces & laughing she then had the audacity to state "it wasn't her mistake" the order was wrong and then proceeded to lie that they "charge her for food thrown away". The pupusas are outrageously over priced, $2 for a tiny pupusa! You can get a pupusa (regular size) for $1.70 at El Comalito which is down the road and with exceptional customer service, and no "smart ass" talk back to you.

Yelp
Food lack of flavor, pupusas ok, horchata too sweet and not natural, tamales horrible flavor. Overall, it wasn't a good experience. I went to this place because I saw very good reviews, but to be honest, nothing amazing at this place. Sorry, I just pretend to be honest .

Yelp
I'm afraid to write this review, because I'm afraid that the secret will be out. The rating is based solely on my love for the shrimp and steak dish (which comes with a side of rice, salad, and refried beans...YUM). I've had their pupusas before, and while they're good, they wouldn't have me running back for more. I love this place, and everyone I bring loves it too. You should try it :)

Yelp
Amazing Clean Authentic Great customer service Made my morning! There's a reason they have four stars I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Yelp
A little hole in the wall treasure! A great authentic spot for Salvadorian food! It is not fancy so definitely not a date spot but great to pick up food or have lunch with a friend that appreciates real food! I ordered a small Tamarindo drink and 2 empanadas de platanos. I have not had these in forever and had no clue where to find them. Yum! Took 10 minutes to get the food. Not bad considering the food is fresh! No old food sitting around here! I'll definitely come by this place more often. Edit: I forgot to mention that their minimum credit/debit transaction is $10. I had no idea and they we're kind enough to let me use my card!

Yelp
The food here is amazing ! Best pupusas I've ever had. I will come here time and time again

Yelp
I love a good hole in the wall, especially a hole in the wall that serves pupusas. Went here tonight because of the excellent reviews, however my experience was a lacking. The pupusas were delicious, and I had the chicken balaeda, which wasn't very flavorful. The service was pretty bad, almost rude. Also, when I went in about 20% of the tables were occupied and all of the empty ones were dirty. Having worked in restaurants for nearly 10 years, including being a busboy, unbussed empty tables is a pet peeve...it literally takes less than 5 seconds and is basic hygene. There are lots of good pupusa places around here, not sure if I would go back to this one based on this experience.

Yelp
It took me a while to find the courage to try this spot out. Only because Langley Park is the hood and I really don't go to places like that. You can definitely say this place is a hole in the wall but a hidden gem. It only took one time for me to make it a Tuesday night tradition. Let me just say that the owner (Emily) and wait staff is amazing. They always deliver exceptional customer service. The Food: the pupusas are delicious. This is the only place I know that leaves the burnt cheese on the plate. If you're Hispanic, you know the burnt cheese is the best. The chicken wings are baked and seasoned to perfection. They have a dry rub instead of sauces. They do however come with a side of hot sauce and ranch. The best part is they bring out sliced mangos or cucumbers with salt and limes before your meal. Depending on the day they bring out liquefied beans and salsa with chips. If you're drinking for a while they continue to bring them out. Every night they have a dj and have Karaoke. Not sure if they have English Karaoke since every time I go it's spanish music. It's always an awesome time at Emily's!

Yelp
I rarely go to hole-in-the-wall spots like these but boy was I pleasantly surprised! Don't let the exterior, or even the dining area, deceive you. The food is delicious!!! Their pupusas, empanadas de plátano, and their infamous BALEADAS, authentic! They also cater. Didn't feel like cooking for Christmas or New Year's so they prepared a wonderful full course dinner for 5, just $60. I usually do take-out but I'll dine-in every now and again, for lunch mostly. Definitely give them a try. You won't regret it!

Yelp
I pass the restaurant pretty regularly and have wanted to give it a try. So tonight I stopped in. Upon entering, I discovered that I would need to use my limited Spanish speaking abilities. The menu is entirely in Spanish and the employees speak only limited English. When I looked at the menu, I was disappointed to see that there were only 2 or 3 types of pupusas. For a restaurant named "Pupuseria Emily," I had expected more. The rest of the menu was filled with Salvadoran and Mexican food. I ended up ordering pupusas and a quesadilla. I enjoyed my meal. The menu wasn't what I was expected, but it wasn't a bad experience. The pupusas were $2 or $2.50 each. And the quesadilla was $12. I've added pictures. I would probably go back again.

Yelp
Emily's pupusas are delicious and authentic and the servers are always friendly and smiling. Really, that's why I keep coming back...for the pupusas and service. The pupuseria itself is small, clean, and quaint and for entertainment purposes, it has 2 flat screen tvs on both sides of the restaurant. It also has a jukebox that plays Banda, salsa, and oldies but goodies. But back to the food...you will be extremely pleased with the yuca con chicharon, which is perfect for 2-3 people. They serve icy cold drinks such as horchata and Tamarindo. And large means supersized cups! I have visited most of the well known pupuserias in DC and MD- and Emily's is our favorite! The steaming pupusas melt in your mouth and the yuca and chicharon are always hot and crispy. You won't be disappointed!!!

Yelp
Arrived Monday 2:10pm and only a few people had ordered ahead of me. Don't speak Spanish too well so I pointed to the items on the menu and the young woman repeated my order quite correctly. 10 minutes I was told. It suddenly got busy and I watched lots of people who'd arrived after me get their food. 30 minutes later I get my takeout order. Sort of. I'd ordered a pork and a cheese pupusa but got 2 cheese, and the quesadilla mixta (chicken beef shrimp) had no shrimp. I didn't feel welcome and won't return but in fairness I have to say even though my order was wrong and took much too long, the food is very good.

Yelp
This is one of the best pupuserias in the area and I recommend getting either the pupusas or the baleadas! Always order a large drink because they truly are large af but I would give my life for this place (on god).
