I love a good hole in the wall, especially a hole in the wall that serves pupusas. Went here tonight because of the excellent reviews, however my experience was a lacking. The pupusas were delicious, and I had the chicken balaeda, which wasn't very flavorful.
The service was pretty bad, almost rude. Also, when I went in about 20% of the tables were occupied and all of the empty ones were dirty. Having worked in restaurants for nearly 10 years, including being a busboy, unbussed empty tables is a pet peeve...it literally takes less than 5 seconds and is basic hygene. There are lots of good pupusa places around here, not sure if I would go back to this one based on this experience.
