Had a taste for some Mexican went in to try the shrimp mojo special too with brown rice, smoking salsa, and chips to limeade. The shrimp bowl was pretty good. My wife seemed to enjoy the chips and Smoky salsa two thumbs up. 👍🏾👍🏾

Don’t eat here after 5 PM. Dinner portions are consistently smaller. Used to be really good. Portion sizes have dropped significantly the past 3 times we’ve gone. Food quality has also gone down over the past month or so.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The make-your-own rice bowl was absolutely delicious, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and the best chicken I’ve ever had. Roberto, was incredibly sweet and welcoming, adding to the overall aesthetic and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend! Great place to get work done and grab a bite. This is my first 5 across the board review service, atmosphere and food gets a 5 star from me. Will be returning soon!

Great experience! I came here with my staff for the 1st time. I love that you can create your own bowl. As similar reviews have stated it is very similar to Qdoba/Chipotle. In my opinion the quality is X10 better here! I ordered the salad bowl with white rice, steak, pineapple salsa, and sour cream. It was very delicious! I also ordered a coke and churro. The churros were phenomenal! I also love that they have beer and margaritas available! The atmosphere is very vibrant and welcoming, there are plants everywhere and the music selection is very on par with what’s trending. I would definitely return! The only negative thing is the protein portions are very small compared to the other ingredients added; however, you can order double the protein which is an easy fix.

The food was good and made fresh. However the people working there weren't the friendliest.

The frozen strawberry margarita and tacos are amazing !!! The place was incredibly clean and beautiful. Roberto and Johanna had excellent recommendations and were absolutely amazing in their customer service-made the ambiance so much fun with their great smiles. Highly recommend and will come again:)!

I absolutely love this place! Since discovering it, I’ve been coming multiple times a week. The food is always delicious, and the service truly sets it apart. Rico and Brandon are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed and taken care of every single time. Highly recommend!

The place is cute but there is honestly nothing remarkable about the food, the limeades I tried which were the mango and the regular both tasted like lime and water, incredibly bland and watery. The price isn’t bad but Chipotle would be your best bet flavor wise and you’d probably save a few more bucks. Customer service was average, all and all I was a little disappointed.

Grabbed a late lunch here with a few friends before a concert and it was so delicious! It's a make-line style build your own type of restaurant and the line workers pushed the line through at a good speed. I ordered a steak bowl which had a good ratio of meat to toppings. I wish I could have gotten a margarita, me and one of my friends were bummed because one of the main reasons we came was to try the frozen margaritas. Yet they were out of it completely.. There are also canned seltzers but I opted for a limeade that was tart and refreshing. I was also in awe of the beautiful artwork and snapped a quick pic of my favs.

I work down the street from Puralima and I frequent it A LOT and I gotta say, it does not get old! Yes, similar model as Chipotle, but I love that it is locally owned, I love the ingredients, the pickled onion goes absolutely CRAZY, the limeades are refreshing and slightly tart and I love to mix the flavors- I think they're delicious and the margaritas are UNMATCHED. Also- If anyone says their food was bland it's probably because you made it that way- idk what you expect from only chicken and rice. They have so many ingredients (in my opinion) I've never been like 'darn, I wish they had this.'

A friend brought me here for lunch. Similar to Chipotle, you select your own ingredients in your tacos or burritos. Immediately, the vibes and atmosphere were upbeat and fun. I ordered a cauliflower burrito, which is weird now that I think about it. I did want to try something new. My burrito was bland. I was excited for my limeade because I wanted a refreshing drink, but it was a huge disappointment. It had a bitter aftertaste and it wasn't sweet. Service was good though. Parking is hard to find considering the location and time you go. Thankfully, it was a nice day and we didn't mind the walk.

I git this delivered last night and YEUH ok!!! Very fresh ingredients and the steak was actually so good - Not chewy or fatty and had flavor. They season their chips too if you into that and their queso wasn't too salty. New go to for chipotle cravings!!

Cute, cute, cute! Imagine if Chipotle was decorated by a Real-housewife or some other fun stylish person! Chandeliers, colorful material around the pillars, and I am here for it all. But let's talk about the food.. I love the unique toppings, just kicking myself that I did t try the pineapple pico de gallo, I guess there is always next time! The chips and guacamole were great; both fresh and flavorful. One negative is that it is on a busy street in the North Loop, so you will need to hunt for street parking to pick up your burrito.

This might be my new favorite spot to fix my chipotle needs. Meat selections are juicy and tender, toppings are all cooked individually and seasoned well. Sauces are unique AND packs some heat. Drinks are good, but my bf wouldn't prefer on get the frozen one over the reg. Parking is on the busy street or along side the building. Vibes and music are popping and service was amazing.

Back again at puralima! Ordered a salad this time with quac on top and the dressing on the side. Service was quick and we were able to move through the line quickly. We took our food to go, but there was a great atmosphere and small crowd eating at the restaurant.

A great place to grab a quick meal if you are in the mood for Mexican food. They also have great frozen margaritas! The people that work there are very nice and are passionate about bringing great quality Mexican food to the Twin Cities area. It is also a super cute place to hang out and have a couple drinks with friends.

Found this place on Cinco de Mayo because they had a special prickly pear margarita that I wanted to try and WOW the food was delicious and so was the margarita (and it was strong)! The atmosphere was clean and sleek, and the staff was very friendly, and I will definitely go back! And a plus, they have the roasted cauliflower, which means vegan Friendly!

I decided to try Puralima this week when they were running a free entree special on their app! It's right near my work, so I thought it would be the perfect little lunch spot. I ordered ahead, so my to-go order was ready right when I got there at 11:30, which was great. However, there were quite a few people waiting on to-go orders. A friend I was with ordered hers for ASAP about 10 minutes before we left our work to walk over, and we waited there for 5-10 minutes for her food to come out (it had given her a 'ready' time at 11:32). I didn't mind too much because they seemed to be a bit short staffed. The location is beautiful and in a great area of North Loop! It's got super trendy and bright decor, fun merch, and a little flower bar where you can create your own bouquet. I definitely want to come back here for a happy hour with margaritas and chips! Based on other reviews I've seen, it looks like they fixed their portion problem. These are a bit smaller than Chipotle, but I don't mind because I never finish Chipotle - I really felt this was the perfect size for me! Plus, they included a free chips & guac for happy hour before the end of the month which was a fun little surprise. I ordered a steak salad with quite a few toppings. Since I had the free entree, I only had to pay for my additional toppings (about $2 worth) - however, I think they need to include more than 3 toppings for their price. If I had paid for this, my little salad would've been about $15 - and at that rate I would go down the street to C&G for a larger salad. Good news is, this salad was absolutely delicious! The steak was so tender and flavorful and the vinaigrettes really brought all the flavors together. I definitely raved about it to some friends! Overall, I wouldn't be super quick to go back here for a lunch/meal because of the price point, but I will be back to try happy hour!

More 3.5 than 4 stars for me. Really good for fast food but falls a tad short of my favorite Twin Cities taco joints. Quac was tasty but way too cold which actually muted the flavors and made it harder to eat, but awesome chips. The meats were not very hot which was disappointing and the burrito a mess to eat. It also was not clear if we needed to bus our own table but we finally found the spot but hard not to make a mess of yourself separating items to be washed and items for disposal.

Food? 10/10 service? 10/10 the place it's just a vibe, the staff are super nice, friendly and welcoming. The portions are very reasonable. And everything it's authentic and fresh, trust me I forgot what "chipotle" even exists. If I have to nitpick at something, it will be the parking, it can be difficult to find a spot sometimes because of the location.

Chipotle-like lunch spot with Mexican dishes put together in front of you (along with a variety of options). Thursday afternoon, only a small line inside to put in an order. Opted to get a Barbacoa Bowl over rice ($10.50), which comes with three free toppings. Settled on some pico de gallo, cheese, and peppers. Seasoning on the meat was good, while the meat itself was very chewy. The other ingredient well with the rice. Also ordered the Chips & Queso ($8) - a big bag of corn tortilla chips with rich melted queso. Really liked the chips to go along with the side hot sauces they had. The queso dip was only okay. The people behind the counter did their best to get the line moving, but people had multiple orders and lots of questions. Placing your order in advance for pickup is the best option here.

I had this ordered for a work event and boy oh boy this was a huge hit. Online ordering for catering could not have been easier, the premade set quantities and sides was a dream. Pick up was a breeze. They didn't skimp on anything, the quantity, quality, or flavor. Puralima has chips and salsa bar are above and beyond what your average chain spot brings to the table.

I really wish I liked this place but I don't. I just feel like something is always lacking in the bowls, with only 3 toppings included. The meal just feels incomplete. This time I got a steak bowl. Flavors are ok, but to be honest I'd choose chipotle any day over this. Nothing "wrong" with it, just not my cup of tea. Note: I ordered online and the process was pretty easy. Food wasn't ready on the shelf when I arrived so I did wait 5 more minutes. The flower area is a cute touch and fun differentiator.

Vibe is giving upscale chipotle, with better ingredients and alcohol available! Met up with a couple friends here and it was the perfect meeting spot, wasn't too busy or loud, and we really got to connect. I got the chicken, I didn't love it. Just felt a little under seasoned, or maybe I would have just enjoyed a different flavor profile. The homemade limeades were all delightful. I was sure to try all the salsas and toppings, and was delighted by the bold flavor choices. All in all, would absolutely go back the next time I'm in the mood for a burrito bowl in the area!

I've visited this new Minneapolis spot two times in as many weeks. It is soooo delicious. Management was very attentive to us and all of the workers were busy working hard but also were great hosts to the guests. You walk in, down a small set of stairs, go through the line (similar to a chipotle experience), take a seat and bon appetite! After trying all the margaritas, the classic is my favorite but they are all good. I have no notes. It's a great spot with great food. If I lived closer, I would probably be there multiple times a week

Pura Lima is my new go-to restaurant!! The food is fabulous and the service is even better. So fresh and so flavorful! I love to mix it up and try new variations with all of the different options! The cute asethtic and awesome margs are an added bonus

I love puralima. Such a fun location and truly such good food! Quality has always been great, as have the staff. Parking is tough but plenty in north loop. I love the vibes and food and margaritas!!

I am in love with PURALIMA! I love the vibrant colors throughout the place! Their food is amazing and I love how fresh the ingredients are. I have gotten the bowl and it's so filling. Plus their queso and chips are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their regular or frozen margarita! I love how refreshing it is! Service was wonderful and they answered any questions we had when we first visited! Now it's my go to spot in North Loop!

I had heard some mixed reviews of Puralima but was excited to try it out on my own, ended up really loving my meal here! It's on the pricier side but they have been running a lot of deals lately ($5 margs, free guac with chips order, etc). I got a steak bowl and loved how fresh all of the ingredients tasted. It was really nice that the plates/glasses were real as well, it made it feel more upscale than other similar spots. The frozen marg was delicious too, and strong! Service was friendly and helpful as well! The only bigger downside that I experienced was that for the cost, you still only get 3 toppings included. To really fill out the bowl you'll probably end up needing to add one or two extra items at 70 cents each.

Very similar to a chipotle concept but I honestly liked it better! There are more topping and sauce options. The chicken salad bowl was delicious. They offer alcohol as well! We got delivery but have walked past the inside which looks super fun and colorful.

Fun atmosphere - bright, colorful, and playful. Music was a little loud hard to talk with other people. Only ice berg lettuce, which is okay but could have been upgraded. Wish you could pick more than 3 toppings to put on your meal. Service - workers were all friendly. You could tell some were still leaning the ropes, so nothing to say right now.

What a wonderful treat to the weekend. The food was delicious and the team was so kind. I had the grilled steak bowl with habenero salsa. The chips were fire and my margarita was supreme. I'm happy to have stumbled into this place again. I will definitely be back!

Updating my review after a few more visits. A few key things that I've noticed: (1) portions have gotten larger; (2) chips are definitely less salty then the first few weeks after the opening - in a good way; and (3) staff remain very friendly and speedy.

My favorite thing about PURALIMA is the fresh ingredients. The flavors are definitely more vibrant and they have a lot of offerings (don't sleep on the margaritas!). It's a great place if you want to have something healthy yet satisfying. It is really good for catering events and work meetings too!

How is this not just chipotle with alcohol? Nothing really different than that concept. Smaller portions and you are limited in adding ingredients before additional charges. Tastes were much more bland. Wasn't overly impressed.

Great food at this establishment. Its basically a chipotle with fresher ingredients. Their steak is PHENOMENAL. They use a different cut of steak than chipotle with little to no fatty bits. Portions are HEFTY. Literally i could make one plate last 2 days. I recommend getting extra rice and extra meat. Their drinks are solid aswell. I fw the limeade and mango limeade. Margaritas are WAYYY too strong but yea the service is good too, they go out their way to make sure you understand the simple yet small menu. And their decor inside is bright. Sort of reminds me of what chipotle used to be.

I don't know but theses bowls look half empty. Chipotle fills theirs up. And it's the same price. How disappointing to spend that much and yet get only a small amount. And I agree about the extra toppings, what the heck.. after I added what I wanted it was $23. Heck no

Amazing food and service, and the ambiance of this place is fantastic. The only thing I would say is what would bring me here more would be removing the 65 cents extra charge for each additional topping over 3 toppings. There were so many great options that I wanted to select, but at the same time I didn't want to pay $15+ dollars for a bowl. This made portions seem a bit lighter than something I might get at a Chipotle (not to compare because the concepts are a bit different). The margs however were really great, we were told all of the ingredients are fresh and no mixer is used, and for $8 that's hard to beat.

Amazing food and quick service! Will definitely eat there again. Stopped by for lunch while we were in the area and noticed the balloons and figured it was a new place. They did not disappoint.
