Yelp
Pure Project in San Diego is a fantastic place to grab a beer, especially if you appreciate eco-friendly values. Everything about this spot reflects their commitment to sustainability, from their partnership with Patagonia to using Dyson hand dryers and eliminating paper/plastic bags. It's refreshing to see a brewery so aligned with environmental consciousness.
Ambiance:
The decor inside is thoughtfully designed, bringing nature indoors with lush, healthy pothos plants and wooden accents throughout. It feels calming and organic, a perfect place to enjoy a beer. I visited on a Friday afternoon, and while there was a good crowd, it didn't feel overcrowded. There's plenty of parking, and both indoor and outdoor seating options are available. The outdoor area is particularly nice, with water, dog bowls, and treats for furry friends. It's a dog-friendly spot, which is always a plus!
Beer:
Pure Project offers flights, which is a great way to sample their range of beers. You can get 5 tasters for the price of 4, which I thought was a great deal. They have a diverse selection of brews, and the quality is top-notch.
One of the things that stood out to me was their grab-and-go beer options. The packaging is incredibly aesthetic, with some bottles even featuring corks. These beers make a statement, but they come at a premium price, ranging from $16 to $30 for a mid-size bottle.
Overall:
Pure Project is a must-visit for beer lovers, especially those who appreciate a brewery with strong eco-friendly values. The atmosphere is inviting, the beer is excellent, and the staff is friendly.
