We absolutely love this place. The vibe is chill and the beer is amazing. Plenty of room inside and out. The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. They have the best beer in North County and arguably in all of San Diego.

Without a doubt in mind, Pure Project has got the best Hazy IPAs and Murky IPAs you’ll find in California. I can’t get enough of this stuff - the sweetest nectar of life. Every trip down to SD has to involve a little bit of Pure Project.

As soon as you walk in you feel the vibe. Pups everywhere (love it). Beers are good. We were recommended and now I recommend you . Cole and Bill were awesome prompt service .

It is truly a fantastic brewery to relax at the end of the day. This tasting room has one of the best spots to enjoy the North County San Diego weather and have a beer while you watch the sun set. Pure makes exceptional beer, and they have a wide variety of styles. Not only do they have the local favorites like IPAs and Hazys, but they also have a great selection of Stouts, Sours, and Smoothie Beers that seem to rotate constantly. Additionally, they are one of the few breweries that makes a Hefeweizen certain times of the year, and it is perfect. As with all their tasting rooms, it has a nice up scale vibe. This one is the nicest. Very roomy and great for accommodating parties of all sizes. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Very dog friendly as well. Its a great place to bring the whole family. There is a lot of outdoor seating in front and on the side of the building. Most weekends, it seems like there is a dedicated food truck out front. Sometimes, you might even run into a makers marker here. It is never hard to find parking. They turn on the heaters if it is cold out. The beer flights are a great deal, too.

Cozy brewery with comfy indoor seating and tons of outdoor space as well. Tons of plants hanging everywhere. It’s a vibe! Lots of drink options. I love options and flights, yum!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Pure Project Brewery and could not have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the process was seamless thanks to their incredible events team, Anjelica and Kristin. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were organized, responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of so we could simply enjoy the evening. The space was beautiful, the atmosphere relaxed yet special, and the food and drinks were amazing (our guests are still talking about the beer!). Anjelica and Kristin went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and it truly made our night stress free and memorable. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a private event or celebration, I can’t recommend Pure Project Brewery enough!

There are a few breweries in San Diego that are just better than the rest. This is one of them. Murky is my new love language. And Carissa Rocks! Along with everyone else!

I have been here before and it is one of the best breweries currently in San Diego. They have a beer style for every beer lover. Sours, to stouts to IPAs and Lagers. They do them all very well. The service is always polite and helpful when selecting a beer. The layout is pretty good. There is a nice bar area, some private tables and a separated area off to the right side. Sort of your typical industrial brewery with a nice tasting room. I came here for a local club's meeting and decided to grab some food as well, which was very good. They decided to offer us a tour of the brewery and a sample out of the bright tank! Great tour, beer and experience.

This place is one of my favorite local breweries, I can always get a great sour beer here. They have a large selection of beer to choose from all very balanced and fresh, I have had most of them but I prefer the sour and smoothie beers from here. The service is always great, and it's a very chill atmosphere. They also have food trucks in front, and the food is always good.

Sat at bar and very good conversation with bartender. Good recommendations. We had tropical mist, ship sail, don't remember the name but it was a mango and guava smoothie type and one with ube and coffee- delicious .

Pure Project is by far my favorite brewery to go to, this location specifically. The staff is always so engaging the moment you walk in. I appreciate the fresh ingredients, hops used in the beer. You can tell they take great pride in what they do. Love their selection of sour and slushy beers that's my go to here. They have amazing IPAS (Pure West) which is my husband's favorite. Went to the Grape Day Festival in Escondido yesterday. Pure Project was pouring 3 taps in the beer garden. We had the best service possible from Kylie. She is a real credit to the company. Thanks from all of us including puppy Koko. .

Super, super friendly. The brew a quad IPA that I lucked out-they had it when I visited. It's awesome. Awesome. One of top beers I've ever had. Left with a 4-pack. It's a shame I don't live closer.

This brewery is fantastic! We hosted our wedding celebration here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely helpful. Planning the event with their coordinators was without friction, and of course, their beer is terrific. I can not recommend them enough!

So it seems the secret is finally out. Yelp has ranked Pure Project - Vista as the best brewery in all of CA. It only took a couple of years for that ranking to reflect what I already knew. & those couple years are precisely how long overdue my review for this place is. I've been a huge fan of Pure Project since back when their only location was in Miramar. Back when I lived 500 miles away in the Bay Area. Pure Project's beers are that good. So, of course, I knew about their expansion to Vista well before they opened. I've been a regular here since before day 1. Fact is, considering strictly their beers alone, Pure Project is 1 of my 2 absolute favorite breweries in all of SD County. This brewery & taproom in Vista is my single favorite spot to enjoy a beer in the entire county. Having been to around 200+ breweries all across CA, Pure Project - Vista is in my personal top 5 for the entire state. Decorated in a tropical rain forest theme, with industrial brewery as a backdrop, there are multiple inviting indoor & outdoor areas to relax with a beer. Service has always been top-notch. The folks here are both very personable & highly professional. There's also often a food pop-up right out front. It's the outstanding beers. The broad range of beer styles Pure Project offers, all of which are made to high quality standards. It's the people. Welcoming & really know their stuff. It's the space. A mix of large open & airy with nooks & crannies, there's just the right spot to fit any mood. Taken altogether, Yelp & I agree. Pure Project - Vista is the best.

I am a sucker for a local brewery with a good vibe. When you walk into pure project, it feels like such a chill place. There's great seating available, plants all over, live music some nights and food trucks that rotate. They have a great beer selection and fun atmosphere. My only complaint would be that their food truck lineup has not been what's listed online and changed. So we have gone here hoping for one and there was another. Not a huge deal because the food was good, but would be nice to have it updated.

What a surprise! Came here with a friend and was very happy with this choice! When I drove up into the parking area I thought - I must be in the wrong place. I am in a parking lot with business buildings BUT don't give up there is a roll-up door that welcomes you into a very cute brewery. They have outdoor seating along with plenty of indoor seating. The vibe is amazing! They have great music playing and you can easily have a conversation without having to yell over the music. They have plenty of beer options even sours! They have a fridge with bottled beer that you can also purchase. I did not get the opportunity to partake in their food - BUT they had a fun menu of different pizza options that they make fresh outside. To top it off the interior is amazingly designed with plants hanging from the ceilings which I love AND they have heating lamps inside to make sure you truly enjoy your evening out 10/10 highly recommend and will be coming back.

I was a big fan of Iron First when they occupied this space, and was sad when they closed down during COVID, but Pure Project is an excellent addition to the beer scene. Admittedly, when I first came here a couple of years ago, they specialized in sours, which are not really my thing. However, I came back recently and was pleasantly surprised with what is now a very diverse beer menu. There's a good selection of IPA's, and stouts/porters as well as their specialties. The space is kid-friendly, with some side patio areas, picnic benches outside, and and generally open layout. The outside space by the parking lot may not be ideal for small toddlers who may wander quickly into the parking lot, but we've taken our 6 and 2 year old daughters with us for our last couple of visits. For Halloween, they had a kid-friendly event with tubs of candy everywhere and candy-filled Halloween eggs. We will definitely be frequenting this place in the years to come.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. Everyone we come they always have delicious beer. The staff here is super friendly and amazing. The decor and outside seating is great. T they always having some sort of food outside. Highly recommended!

We ended up coming here to try a flight and loved the vibe of the place. I love going to breweries, and this one was great. Among the flight my favorite was a tropical mist, neotropical mist, and fireside mesa. I love the passion fruit flavor of the neotropical most, but hands down the fireside mesa was the best! It tasted like I was drinking smores!! The vibe of this place was very low key and friendly. The staff explained all the flavors and were very warm/welcoming! Not to mention plenty of comfortable seating with boards games to make sure you have a good time with friends or out on a date. I would definitely recommend checking it out in the area.

Pure project is very hidden in business park, and as soon as you walk in, there are plants and greenery galore. It is so cute and hipster inside. I was surprised by the amount of children that were coming in to play all of the games they had available! They have a fairly large selection of beers, and they rotate. I do wish they had more lighter beers, but I was still very satisfied with the ones that I did get in my flight. Also make sure that you are not hunger because they do not have any food selections. This place is perfect when you just want a beer!

This is a brewery in Vista, CA. This place has a big variety of craft beers so you're truly find the one for you. The service and ambiance was amazing. Just a nice relaxing place to kick back and enjoy your sip of beer. If you're into beers, this is a must stop for you.

Had a really nice time here. Great place with a very good beer selection. The folks at Prue Project are proud of the beer and it shows. The beer is excellent and reasonably priced. A 16 oz beer will run about $8.50 and up, again quality beer. I also likes the atmosphere, it feels like how a microbrewery should, comfortable and relaxing. I will say the best part of our visit was the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Fantastic service. Brian, thank you for your assistance and giving us the details of the brewery. And a special thank you to Cambry, you know your beer, but more importantly you really know how to treat customers, great, friendly customers service. You made our visit a real joy, which is a rare experience.

I threw a surprise birthday party for my mom at Pure Project and it surpassed all expectations! Angelica was so helpful with planning the event and making sure all of my questions were answered. The on site staff day of were so accommodating & great to work with. Especially Carissa! :) Everyone at the party was so impressed with the venue and loved the atmosphere, beer, and vibes. Thank you Pure Project for hosting a great event for my mom's 60th!! Highly recommend having your next event here!

Happy Anniversary Pure Project! I celebrated this location's 2nd anniversary yesterday with my family! They decorated with Dinos and other fun things. They arranged an Egg Hunt for the kids which they all enjoyed! I would never think to do that except for Easter! I had an unique punch drink which was refreshing! This is such a cool place. Love all the plants and open vibe. It was a little warm in the afternoon and most of the indoor seats were taken. But that is ok and to be expected. I didn't seem to notice any fans around which would have been nice. They had a Food Truck there with sandwiches which were pretty tasty! There were dogs and kids around so it is nice that this place is friendly towards both! They even had dog bowls of water around which I liked. I did kind- trip over one, not sure if the owner left it there after they departed or if they were at the bar getting another drink. Cheers to many more years!

Doughnut and beer pairing! Fantastic! They were a bit unorganized as I think this might have been their first event of this type. BUT, the beer is really great, the doughnuts (from The Goods in Carlsbad) were beautiful and unique and delicious, and the workers there are all friendly, even under the pressure of being short staffed and a bit confused. All in all a pleasant experience and of course we'll be back!

Can't put into words of how grateful we are for Kristin and Anjelica at Pure Project. These two were the backbone to our wedding reception and made our day special in so many ways! Anjelica was constantly doing things that we didn't even think of! And loved everything she did! We chose Pure because the beer and their breweries are always beautiful inside. Anjelica and Kristin were more than the cherry on top! These two made the brewery turn into a beautiful wedding venue. They were so pleasant to work with and loved everything. From our initial virtual meeting, to his and hers cocktail hour, to set up, itinerary, food recommendations, quick special time before our grand entrance, and lastly doing our announcements. I could type paragraphs about everything they did for us and how wonderful they were. Thank you Anjelica and Kristin! We simply don't know what we would've done without you two!

Pure Project has been one of our favorite end of week stops. From the delicious varying pours, to the tasty offerings from food trucks, to the friendly and knowledgeable customer service, it's easy to have a good time every chance we get to visit. The Vista venue is always clean, it has great seating outside and out, it welcomes your four-legged friends, and generally amicable crowds. I feel that for the most part the beer options will please every palate, from light Pilsners, to hoppy IPAs, fruity hazys, or creamy stouts. It is a bit pricey, so usually we enjoy a flight or two. That's the only deterrent of us coming more often. Aside from that it is a great experience.

Pure, says it all. Goodbye ;) As the best voted brewery in San Diego; Constantly appealing to frequent customer palates, IPA standards, and experimentalste from time to time. The true place to put Hazy IPAs on the map from their head brewmaster Winslow Sawyer to the pure ingredients makes a massive difference. Each location with its on perks and quirks. Vista had its nice tall, comfy real chairs and an amazing interior; don't let the outside of a brewery scare you away. The barrels on the right are not just for show, but actually aging arctic ales, stouts, and more! To the left side is an even more comfy couch and some nice outdoor seating. Essentially Vista or north Carlsbad is a great place to check the one and only beastly balanced beers.

My daughter and I stopped in here recently as they are using Fresh Carlsbad Strawberries in a lot of their brews right now for Strawberry Fest. We also saw that they had Dropouts Pizza there so we figured we grabbed some food, too. All of it was incredible. When we walked in we were impressed with how clean, open and green the place was. There are plants everywhere and it really brings the place to life. It helped that the Pure Project staff were welcoming, super friendly and very knowledgeable. They talked us through their entire menu and really nailed their recommendations. I started with their unfiltered pilsner, Rain, and my daughter had their cream ale w/strawberry & vanilla, Sunset Crush. We loved both of ours and couldn't have been happier. For the second round I ordered their Belgian style single w/Saaz, Sacred Space, and she had their imperial sour w/strawberries, Nothing Is Real. I think we actually liked these better than the first ones, to our surprise! In between rounds we ordered our pizza and it came quickly and hot and wonderful. A perfect match while we sat outside drinking. This is a brewery we will definitely be returning to. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

we came on a Sunday afternoon and this place was bustling!!! cant even describe my excitement at seeing how many humans and doggos were here listening to the live band and enjoying the awesome weather. I b-lined to the bar and the amazing lady serving up everyone's beers made a full stop, got treats, and came straight to me to provide me my order before anyone else got served. my humans got the Lotus sunset which were cool looking fruity boozy drinks with beer Mango and Guava as well as hazy IPA and loved them. there was a food truck service deliciousness but my humans were not yet hungry which I guess means I get none... the tragedy! I laid outside under the table listening to the live band, people and doggo watching while my humans played a round of yahtze from the brewery's own stash of board games. perfection 10/10!

This place has a hold on me! The mood is magnificent and I feel like this is my favorite brewery right now in SD. Their smoothies are the best thing ever!!! Consistently! It doesn't matter the season! A good drink, beautifully decorated, great staff and service and add a community of dogs on any given day! I don't think it gets any better than Pure Project!

This location is a 10! Good size and great Pure atmosphere. I hear they even have live music. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. I'm so pleased this is the Pure location closest to my house.

It was a gorgeous Saturday so the Hubs and I decided to take the top off the Jeep and drive a bit North of San Diego to go brewery hopping - It was a total score when we stumbled upon Pure Project! Pure Project is a small batch brewery with several locations around the San Diego area. As soon as we walked in, I knew this place was totally my vibe - An industrial look with gorgeous plants all over! Enjoy your tasting inside, at the bar or outside on the cozy patio - There is no bad seat in the house. The Hubs & I are IPA fanatics and as soon as we saw the tasting menu, we knew we were in the right place! Since we were visiting multiple spots that day, we opted to split a tasting flight - Five 5 ounce tasters - Each of which was better than the last! Our flight included: Diamond Dust, Transdimensional, Subconscious Mind, Pure West & Petrified - Each of these was beyond tasty but we were blown away when we tried the Murky Quad IPA, Mountains Are Calling.. Wow! If you use the Untapped beer app.. this gem was absolutely rated a 5 star beer! Now.. since it's a Quad IPA, I wouldn't suggest knocking back several of these.. in fact, I'd suggest sharing a can with someone - Delicious but I'm sure they could be dangerous as they are 13% alcohol content. If you are an IPA snob like us.. Pure Project is the way to go! If you've read any of my previous reviews, you know that customer service is a big deal to me - and boy, did Colin deliver. He was super friendly, explained the fermentation process of some of the brews, talked to us about other breweries to visit in the area and was sure to be sure that we enjoyed our visit. Thanks for making it an awesome experience, Colin! Also.. Pure Project donates 1% of all their sales to environmental non-profit organizations {whether they are profitable or not} - How amazingly cool is that! If you are looking to do some fab beer tasting in San Diego.. Pure Project is a MUST visit!

Last Tuesday afternoon I attended an Elite event hosted by Pure Project Brewery in Vista, California. It was my first visit, and I was totally amazed at the size and ornamentation of the establishment. Modern, yet Eco Friendly forward, with a flare for a casual and tropical appeal. My first impressions were clean, tidy, organized, refreshing, exciting and tranquil. Upon entry, I was greeted by Felicia and decided to sit at the hightop near the taps. To my astonishment I noticed a large eclectic selection of micro brews derived from fully sustainable and environmentally friendly processes as explained by Chris. During my visit I was assisted by Brian and sampled the following selections: Tropical Mist Blond - (5.1%) Delightful, light, subtle, fruity. Diamond Dust - (6.7%) Delicious, murky IPA with a hint of cashmere. Petrified - (8.3%) Refreshing, double IPA with nectron. Transdimensional (8.%%) Sparkling, nutty, double IPA, with a hint of Ameretto. Milangro - (5.5%) Smooth, creamy, and slightly nutty Stout. "A complete substitution for weekend morning coffee" Perfection! Under The Glass Moon - (8%) Sangria-like brew, bursting with mango and cherry flavor. Perezoso "Sloth"- (6%) Fruit smoothy characteristics with mango and blueberry highlights. Every one of my choices were exquisite! I only wished I could have stayed longer, and brought my wife along for the experience. It's my understanding that weekends are quite festive with food trucks, live entertainment, and sunsets that will awe you. Four packs for takeout, military discount, and great customer service. Highly recommended. Thank you Pure Project for a wonderful experience!
