PURO Hotel Gdańsk Stare Miasto

We had a wonderful two night in Puro Gdansk Stare Miasto. The hotel is beautiful, immaculately clean, so handy to the harbour and the old town, the food was lovely, the staff were really amazing (Filip and Michal in the rooftop bar get a special mention, thanks for the dinner recommendations and for remembering my off-menu coffee order) and the beds were so comfortable. I will be recommending this place to everyone visiting Gdansk.

The hotel perfectly captures the vibe of the city. It‘s located on Granary's Island, a place where history meets modernity. The room is a nice combination of tradition and technology. Despite that is central location inside the hotel is very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend stay at Puro Hotel in Gdansk. Looking forward to visit more Puro hotels in different cities.

Location and atmosphere was excellent. Very clean. Staff was very pollite and the breackfast buffet was good. The coffee corner was our favourite place (see the photo). We didn’t like the glass-wall toilet. Good value for money. We will consider to stay her again if we come back to Gdansk.

Fantastic stay at Puro, Location was 10/10. Right on the door step of the Old Town very easy to get around and is only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Hotel itself was lovely! Spa and Gym facilities were really good and staff were very polite and helpful throughout the 4 days of our stay at the hotel.

This is a nice modern hotel in a central location. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed with nice pillows and linen. The breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the free coffee during the day. I would give it 5 stars were it not for 2 problems. First, we arrived late at night and spent several minutes walking up and down the street looking for the hotel as the sign at street level is VERY small ! Second, my husband is on medication which needs to be kept cool. However the receptionist would not allow the container to be kept in the hotel freezer. This has not been a problem in any other hotel we have stayed in, including the Puro hotel in Warsaw last year.

I had a great experience at PURO Hotel Gdańsk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed with a modern and cozy atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of great options. I also really enjoyed the spa – the massage was excellent. It’s a big plus that you can get free quality coffee and tea anytime, and access to the gym and sauna is also included. Highly recommended! Great location as well.

Great hotel. Rooms could have had more light from the outside, but other than that - PUR(O)E perfection 👌 Marvellously located on Wyspa Spichrzow, lots of restaurants, bars and beautiful buildings, with convenient transport (taxi). Great breakfast and great service. Overall - a must stay place. As always with PURO.

Yelp doesnt seem to have the functionality to update a review so here it is ! Someone carefully read my review and noticed i mentioned the location as Krakow. Obviously the location should be GDANSK !! I recommend this hotel for a stay there.

The two stars are for the hotel itself- the smart-room and concierge were the only things that would warrant a return. The staff in this hotel were some of the rudest people I have ever encountered in a professional setting. The staff in the rooftop bar and in the restaurant genuinely seemed like they did not want our business. Both were empty and both times my family and I were dumbfounded at the lack of care to assist us. We had to ask if it was open then asked if we could switch tables in which we got a nasty "nie"- no. I will not be returning to this hotel frankly due to the less than professional staff working the hotel (save the few courteous people at the front desk). Not sure if it was the fact that we are foreigners to this country, or simply a lack of charm, but a very sad experience here. Hotel sufficed if you had no human interactions with the staff.
