PURO Gdańsk Stare Miasto (Gdańsk, Baltic Coast) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The city of Gdańsk, on Poland’s Baltic coast, is a picturesque and historic port city, but it’s not entirely stuck in the past — the newly redeveloped Granary Island, adjacent to the well-preserved Old Town, is an oasis of modernity. It’s no coincidence that it’s also home to Puro Gdańsk Stare Miasto, a member of the very hip Polish Puro hotel group. Its interiors, by the London-based DeSallesFlint, are full of references to local history, and its spacious, convivial restaurant, Magari, offers a wide range of modernized Italian classics and seasonal specials from the large open kitchen; kick off your evening with a creative cocktail at INK Above, the intimate, funky rooftop bar." - Tablet Hotels

Google
Great location, very nice and modern rooms and overall environment. Amazing breakfast buffet. Overall a great place to stay in the centre of Gdansk, a very nice value for money option. I also need to add the excellent service and staff. I have left some documents in the hotel and the local team did everything to make sure that I have them back safely and quickly! That shows a very service level and dedication.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely the coffee area and the seating in the reception area was a great place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. My only slight negative was the glazed enclosure to the bathroom. I know the transparency adds to the openness of the room and there was a curtain that you could pull across the room but I’d prefer more privacy.

One of the best stays in Gdańsk! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety of items. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. Just keep in mind that the area can get quite busy, so plan your travel time accordingly. Overall, a wonderful stay — highly recommended!

This was a great choice!! When you step outside you are straight away in the old centre of Gdansk. The hotel is very clean, rooms comfortable with a great shower. All staff members were very friendly. And the breakfast is absolutely fantastic!! We also had dinner 3 times in the hotel and the Angus beef is great. We would sure go back here if going to Gdanks again

Google
Fantastic hotel in the centre of Gdansk.on Granary Island. Excellent food, reasonably priced and Gym,Sauna and Steam room. Great roof top bar. 15 minutes walk to the War museum, well worth a visit. 10 minutes walk to the Christmas Market and shopping centre. Marvellous choice of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Google
Fabulous modern hotel with unique features. The rooms are of a good size, nice size bathroom, with typical city hotel fixtures and fittings. It’s in a great location on a street with lots of restaurants and a ten minute walk from the old town. The buffet breakfast is very nice with lots of choice too.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the beautiful old town of Gdansk. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel is beautifully designed, the staff are friendly, the room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Just two things were less good: no kettle in the room for my early morning cup of tea (although there was free tea and coffee down in Reception); and we found the room much too hot - the touchscreen controls seemed not to work, and although we reported this at Reception, there was no change. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if I ever return to Gdansk.

Google
An amazing hotel set right in the heart of Gdansk and within walking distance of historical landmarks, restaurants and cocktail bars. If you're travelling Nov-Dec, the hotel is in an ideal base for checking out the fabulous Christmas market. Reception staff are warm & welcoming, a rarity in this day and age. Rooms are superb, spotlessly clean and beds are extremely comfy. The only downside was we'd booked for two nights & wished we could have stayed longer. Really sad to leave but vowed to return.

Yelp
Yelp doesnt seem to have the functionality to update a review so here it is ! Someone carefully read my review and noticed i mentioned the location as Krakow. Obviously the location should be GDANSK !! I recommend this hotel for a stay there.

Yelp
The two stars are for the hotel itself- the smart-room and concierge were the only things that would warrant a return. The staff in this hotel were some of the rudest people I have ever encountered in a professional setting. The staff in the rooftop bar and in the restaurant genuinely seemed like they did not want our business. Both were empty and both times my family and I were dumbfounded at the lack of care to assist us. We had to ask if it was open then asked if we could switch tables in which we got a nasty "nie"- no. I will not be returning to this hotel frankly due to the less than professional staff working the hotel (save the few courteous people at the front desk). Not sure if it was the fact that we are foreigners to this country, or simply a lack of charm, but a very sad experience here. Hotel sufficed if you had no human interactions with the staff.
