We had a nice dinner on Monday evening here. The food was great. We enjoyed happy hour menu-and ordered 2 aperols each. Though they have a great selection of wines here. Some snacks were not clearly noted on menu what they were, but all tasted good. We shared four desserts, tiramisu was probably my favorite but all were delicious.

Google
Do not skip the baked Brie! Brunch menu had a nice variety of foods, not just the usual egg-based brunch dishes or cheese plates that most wine bars do. Dog friendly on the patio

We had a wonderful dinner at Purple Café in Woodinville last night! I took my husband out, and everything from start to finish was excellent. I had the mushroom pappardelle al pesto—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the free-range chicken Marsala, and he couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was. The highlight, as always, was the baked Brie—an absolute must every time I visit. Warm, creamy, and indulgent, it never disappoints. Our server, Dillan, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He recommended a glass of Auntsfield Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand) that paired beautifully with my meal. I’ll definitely be asking for it again. The only downside was the noise—a big party was seated nearby and the music was a bit loud—but even with that, the overall experience was still great, and we will be back!

Went to Purple and loved it! We were greeted by several employees and immediately felt welcomed and seen. Service is up to a very high standard, as well as food quality and presentation. The music was a bit loud outside but the seating inside seemed more quiet. The vegan options were delicious and I will be back again to try more menu items. They even had vegan donuts for dessert! My group was a big fan of the baked brie and chicken marsala as well. Highly recommend!

Google
Purple delivered a very good dining experience. The spicy shrimp and Dungeness crab pasta were rich in flavor, and the wines paired well with the dishes. While the number of vegetarian options has not improved since our last visit in 2022, and the menu remains largely the same, the ambience and vibe make it a great spot for a date.

Had a higher expectation. I was here for steak. Specifically asked for medium rare and more on the rare end. However, it turned out to be medium well to well done. The steak quality was okay like choice level. The execution wasn’t good. Wine was good tho. Based on the price of the steak ($65). I expected a much higher precision. Service was fine. The waiter didn’t check in after the steak was delivered. Other than that, nothing special.

Google
Great little place in Woodinville. Service was top notch. Atmosphere was nice but a little crowded. Tables are very close to one another. The appetizer was nice. Caesar salad was very good. Steak was flavorful and cooked well but one major problem- there was a couple of large muscle fibers. Made it hard to cut, hard to chew and hard to enjoy. What saved the meal after that? The crime brûlée was incredible.

Google
Honestly, this place is a nice little wine bar- if your into wines, and that type of atmosphere, this would be a great place for you. I just wasn’t too impressed with the cooking of the steak I had, and the fries were very over-cooked. This could be more the style…so I don’t want to be too harsh…it just wasn’t my style. The staff tho was very nice, helpful and friendly.

Yelp
Purple Cafe in Woodinville is a great spot for delicious food and wine Service was wonderful and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered delicious cheese plate that we enjoyed with our tasty wine. Our burger and stake frites were absolutely delicious

Yelp
Pretty good food (although not too many options for gluten/dairy free folks), yet the atmosphere was very cute. I had the salmon entree which was delicious but lacked a little punch, ya know! Loved the idea of the duo wines- take a sip, share around, pair with a food, gives you a great pairing suggestion. Wine was fantastic. Was a little bothered with the flies that seemed to want to try the food/wine with me though...

Yelp
We were hosting out-of-town guests who were staying at the Renaissance in downtown Seattle. The Purple Cafe is easily within walking distance of the hotel. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and inviting. Our table was waiting for us and right by the window. The menu had wonderful choices. The wine list is a massive book and has outstanding choices. Three of us ordered the shrimp roll which was very fresh. The bread and shrimp were perfect. The other order at our table was grilled cheese with tomato soup. Al. If the food was delicious. Even though the restaurant was noisy, we could have good conversations at our table.

Yelp
Food and wine were great but the service was very slow. We enjoyed it but felt ignored.

Yelp
Had dinner there tonight for our anniversary. The lamb appetizer was excellent! They could make it a dinner option with a little saffron rice and some carrots for sure! The aioli used with the lamb skewers was ideal. Oh, my wife had the chicken and I went for the house burger with avocado added as a recommendation by our server- cooked to perfection it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Oh, and the server tonight- He knows what he's doing-all the staff are very nice and attentive. WE WILL BE BACK! THANKS!!!

Yelp
Came here twice for business lunches within a few weeks of each other and both times left underwhelmed. When the thing you remember most about a restaurant is that their front door and chairs are really heavy, it tells you they need to work on the food. The space is nice, it's conveniently located, drinks are tasty, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Ratings on those elements would be a 5, but food brings it down. The first time we had 4 people, and the second time 10 (and they limited our menu options due to our size). Both times they took an absurdly long time to get food to us, which is probably the worst thing you can do for people on a business lunch. We were left wondering if they only had one cook in the kitchen both times, and wondering why they don't have more staff for a place that seems like it's constantly filled with customers. The lunches we hoped would take 1 hour each ended up being nearly 2 hours, and the food is definitely not worth that kind of wait.

Yelp
It's a nice restaurant. A good place to meet friends and catch up. The place is cozy and the noise level is low. We sat by the fireplace which made it extra cozy. The price is a bit high for the food you get. But it's the quality and service that you're paying for. I must say that there wasn't anything memorable with the food we ordered. The Beef Short Rib pappardelle was the most unique but the burger and fries would be the best one out of everything we ordered.

Yelp
I had no idea they had a new location in Woodinville! I used to go to the in downtown Bellevue which closed during Covid sadly. I was so pleasantly surprised with the ambience, service and food. For a weeknight, the place was packed but we were luckily able to get a table. The menu is a mix of comfort foods from grilled cheese with tomato soup to pastas, salads, seafood and just a little bit of everything for everyone. Our waiter was amazing and so knowledgeable about the menu and had some great recommendations. I decided to order the chicken Marsala and the mix of flavors was just so mouth watering! The sauce and caramelized carrots were to die for. Kudos to the chef for such an outstanding meal! My friend got the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and fresh fries which was also made to perfection and oh so delicious. I had to have a bite of course. The ambiance of the place definitely screams perfect date night or girls night out. It's also away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Love the candle decor on the walls and the staircase going up to the second floor which can be booked for private events. I can't wait to come back with my hubby and enjoy another great meal here. Plenty of parking outside in the parking lot which is a plus.

Yelp
The food and service was pretty good. Really loved the wine menu "duos" which enabled you To enjoy two half glasses of different wines for the price of one. Unfortunately, our table for two was tucked into a sort of back wine room and it, unfortunately. was an echo chamber. Not the restaurants fault but the whole place was exceedingly loud...to the point of distraction. They need some soft elements to absorb the sound off all the tile, wine bottles and high ceilings. We were seated near a table of about 8 cackling women...the total wrong vibe for our date. Also, parking was challenging as it's located I that Hollywood school roundabout area. Not sure I would go back.

Our favorite place to grab dinner - after wine tasting or before a concert at Chateau Ste Michelle.

Yelp
Super disappointed with my visit to Purple café. My mom finally convinced me to go here even though I wasn't quite feeling it. She'd been wanting to come here for the longest time knowing she used to go to the Kirkland location before it closed down. I had decent expectations for this place knowing it looked like a hip, basic, rich Microsoft workers restaurant. But it just sucked, we made reservations for 8:00 and were seated immediately upon arrival. The place was super pretty inside and I liked the layout, but it was crammed and immensely noisy. So noisy my family couldn't even have a conversation without screaming. The place was also super hot, though we were seated in the tiny area upstairs. The service itself was okay, but the worker couldn't really understand us due to the noise and language barrier and seemed super stressed. Once our food was ordered it was out super quickly, within 10 minutes of our order. But the food was terrible, the meatloaf we ordered was absolutely disgusting. Like inedible it was that bad, the server also forgot our soup, and once he placed an order for it, it was also terrible. Some of the worst tomato soup I've ever had it was cold and somehow bitter. With that being said the charcuterie board meat and cheeses were fine but their carbs were excellent. What I mean by that is the bread, mashed potato's, and fries were exceptional. I'm not even a fan of mashed potato's but they were seriously the most flavorful and delicious ones I'd ever had. The fries were also super crispy and had a garlic herb flavor that I really enjoyed. The prices were just okay as well, but overall I wouldn't recommend this place due to the terrible food, and super noisy atmosphere. But note if you go to order one of the carb options I stated.

Yelp
It's my favorite hang out spot with my girlfriends whenever we go wine tasting in the area!! Just gotta be here and have some dinner at the end of the day. The service, ambience, interiors-- everything is great. We usually just walk in and sit by the bar. Good selection of wines-- and really good food. Have had their pastas, sandwiches, salads, appetizers-- everything is on point. Get the shoestring fries-- best you will ever eat!!!

Yelp
Wine bar and American restaurant located in Woodinville in the winery area. The area is busy during weekday dinner and the parking lot was full. Restaurant has nice ambience, shelves of wine. Indoor and outdoor seating combined makes this a medium sized restaurant. The place was about 75% full. Got a bunch of shared appetizers for the party. My favorite was probably the baked brie. Nice pastry with melty brie cheese. Fried asparagus, calamari and garlic shrimp + frites were alright. For the main, I got the bavette steak, which comes with asparagus and other veggies. Bavette steak is near the flank so was expecting more flavor vs tenderness. The steak at medium rare definitely had some chew. Not a lot of flavor in the meat. Portion was pretty good, but it is a $45 steak. For dessert we tried the tart and crème brulee. I liked the crème brulee, mostly because I haven't had it in a while. Overall, service and ambience was good. Portion was good. Taste was okay, given the higher mid-end prices.

Yelp
Purple keeps it consistent. Whether you're here for a date night, girls night, or an after work meal. Not only is the food done well, the duo flights are delectable and a great way to find the wines you like. In terms of food, the spicy prawns (with frites- that you have to request), the baked brie, and more recently the shrimp roll are absolute favorites. My husband, who is usually a picky eater and doesn't enjoy spicy food, is absolutely in love with the spicy prawn frites (imagine that! It is that good!) Their exceptional service also adds to the overall experience. I recommend Purple to almost all my friends and family that visit from out of town.

Yelp
Don't think twice, this is the perfect brunch or lunch location! I came here for Mother's Day (reservation highly recommended on this day). Surrounded by the Woodinville wineries, it makes for a great outdoor patio or you can sit inside for some cool AC. Everything we ordered was fantastic. For brunch, the Mimosa Flight is a must. The Shakshouka featured a wonderful poached egg + tomato sauce combo, and I only wish they provided more sourdough bread. Top off your brunch with a fresh, warm Cinnamon Roll (the cream cheese frosting was amazing).

Yelp
Food was healthy and delicious. Would definitely suggest trying though appetizer/wine.

Yelp
We are in town for Thanksgiving and really liked this place! We got the calamari, bread appetizer, squid ink pasta, and vodka pasta and everything was soooooo good. Highly recommend the bread and the vodka pasta dish. The bread is VERY good and the pasta was super tasty and filling. We added shrimp to the pasta and the shrimp tasted great and was cooked well. We would definitely come back if in the area again!

Yelp
I have been to this location over 30 times in the past 5 years and the experience is always consistent. Amazing food (you will LOVE anything you order) great service and a wonderful ambience. Great for a date night, mini-celebration, girl's night out, or just a meal because you are hungry and want something delicious. They seem to have at least one thing that suits every person's likes. Like any business run by humans, they sometimes make mistakes. They have always happily corrected them and to my satisfaction. And that's exactly what you want. They can adapt many meals to be gluten-free (I have never gotten glutened there before but I am careful about how I ask questions and phrase things). The servers somehow always seem to magically appear just when you need them. While it's just fine to show up super casual, most of the crowd is slightly trendy or business casual. Jeans and a sweater or blouse. You are going to love it, then look forward to the next time you can go!! Enjoy!!

Yelp
I've come here a lot over many years...maybe 15? The set up is so nice. It's dark with natural lighting and candles that add to the soothing ambience.the chairs are extremely heavy but comfortable. Our service was friendly and attentive. We started with the fried calamari. It was delicious, but my mother thought it was a little overcooked. I thought it was fine, but she is more of a connoisseur of squid and octopus. My go to dish is the Purple chop, but I gotta say it's inconsistent...this time it was light on the dressing and heavy on bacon bits. Wasn't my favorite version. I prefer less bacon and more dressing. I also got the Tomato bisque. It was delightful but definitely rich and filling. We also got the French onion soup, roast beef dip. The soup was rich and a little too salty. The roast beef was good. E All of us left happy and satiated.

Yelp
I took my fiancé for his bday and my dad joined to end his birthday weekend! Our server was just to die for! Sweetest guy ever and just so patient with my dad's picky ass needs! We got the croque madame and my son got the chicken tender basket. Omg those tenders are good! The croque madame is amazing as well! I got the mimosa flight which is well worth it and I loved the seasonal drinks but the blood orange mimosa is my fave! It's really nice inside! The bathroom was a little dirty like some girl before me went splish splash with her wee wee all over the seat with some tinkle ass party or something which was not nice. But I'm here to judge the food and service not that. Anywho, great service and food all in all! Will return!

Yelp
While the staff was terrific - very pleasant and attentive the restaurant itself was disappointing. It was dark even early in the day, but not in an ambiance way. I needed my cellphone light to read the menu. We ordered truffle fries to start and these were delicious but my avocado toast was an over toasted slice of bread with a scant smear of avocado. On top was two cups of arugula and dressing with thin sliced 5 pieces of onion. Very disappointing. Overall, outside of the fries the food was meh and the ambiance was cave like. Not 5 stars for sure

Yelp
We have been there multiple times over the years and absolutely loved it. Very sadly, the food and service have gone down tremendously. We had a reservation Sunday night and were promptly sat when we arrived, but no one came over for almost ten minutes. We were getting up to leave and the hostess came over with the some water. A few minutes later a not very friendly woman came over and asked if we wanted to order food (later found out that she was the manager) so we did. Our real server came over shortly after and he was very friendly. Unfortunately, when our food came out we had to send back the calamari because it was chewy and weirdly sticky. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. This was one of our favorite yummy and cozy places to go to in the past. I hope they can turn it back around.

Yelp
I used to come here quite often but I haven't been here in awhile as I moved a bit further away--typically this restaurant has been an 11/10 so I don't know what's happened since I was here last. However--while service is still great the food has really gone downhill. I split a very mediocre salad with my mom, the dressing had no flavor. She got a chicken and rice dish, the chicken was so dry it was barely edible and the rice was so undercooked it was literally crunchy. My pasta dish was "fine" but really for the price I honestly expect to be slightly more impressed with my dish beyond just okay at least the pasta isn't underdone and is palatable? They did very nicely comp dessert but I'm not sure if that really makes up for such a lackluster experience with the mains. Sorry Purple, you've changed. The waitstaff is still top notch at least.

Shannon M.

Yelp
Not the same. It has been a few years since we've been here. The service was adequate to disinterested. The food was disappointing and expensive. Just get the truffle fries. We had a charcuterie of 1 cheese and 1 meat. 2 slices of cheese for $8 and some meat for $7. There was some crackers and jam to go with so maybe thats why it cost $ We also ordered the truffle fries- fabulous! Crispy fries and cheese with great flavor. It went downhill from here. We ordered the prix fixe menu special with the suggested wine pairing. The wine was good. The app for this was tasty with gorganzola figs and brie in a puff pasty. The entree: black cod with so many different flavors and textures it was difficult to decide if it was good or bad. The dessert was a version of beignets but fried and so hard that you needed a knife to open them. Our friends got the falafel burger. Edible at least. The experience was disappointing.

Susan W.

Yelp
I have ordered delivery for the spicy shrimp appetizer 4 times. I am NEVER ordering from them ever again! The description says spicy shrimp with bread as an appetizer. Every single fucking time I get French fries instead of bread. Who serves French fries with prawns as an appetizer. Are the cooks idiots? They must be because who the hell thinks this makes sense! I am done with this place! I have complained and not one response! Wow.

Yelp
Purple Cafe is a must if visiting Woodinville. I don't come as often as I'd like because I live here and perhaps I take it for granted....or I just try to avoid the tourists. But nonetheless I will always happily come when my friends are in town. Lets start with the wine - they have a fantastic selection at various price points and it's always changing. They also take care to have wine perfectly selected and paired with their food. The flights are always fun to try a variety. Now for the food. The baked Brie is awesome. The meat and cheese board is always fun to share for something lighter with friends. The warm Gorgonzola stuffed dates are also delicious. The chopped salad is always a hit as well as the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The Mac n cheese is fantastic and their beef bolognese is amazing...in fact, it's the first beef bolognese I've ever liked! The staff is friendly and helpful and the ambience is perfect for catching up with friends or date night - intimate and cozy and not too loud so you can actually have a conversation with your dining partners.

Yelp
I've had takeout from purple, but never actually dined inside until now. I'm so happy I finally did! We weren't super hungry and I'm sad I wasn't, however we tried some amazing dishes. The grilled octopus and greens were phenomenal. I hate that I like octopus, but oh man do I ever! It was cooked perfectly! The other dishes I didn't try, but my friends said they really enjoyed their food. One thing I really like on their wine menu is the "duo" option for wine. You can opt to have 2 half glass pours of different wines in order to have a "tasting". So I had 2 Cabernet francs, one was from Washington and the other from France. They were both great - but oh so different!! What a fun way to taste wine with amazing food. Inside is very mysterious and romantic. This is a perfect date night spot. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, I appreciated all of their suggestions. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
Haven't been here in about 1 year. My veggie loving wife had Steak Frites - steak was great but broccolini was not good at all. I had the steelhead and it was great. Calamari appetizer was not wonderful either. Armando, our server, was great and very attentive. Wood not choose upstairs seating again as my wife was right next to a wall air vent. 3 1/2 is a preferred rating if available.
google avatar

Yelp
Just fab!!! The food, wine bar, and service are easily a 9/10. Some background music would've been nice for the overall ambience and feel of the place. We sat on the patio on a Saturday afternoon. Early dinner around 4:30pm. My husband and I ordered the spicy shrimps (must try you're a fan of spicy food), asparagus (loved the addition of almonds to this), and kale salad with grilled chicken (the kale salad wasn't anything special but the addition of the grilled chicken to it was great, delicious flavors). Try the wine tasting flight next time you're here! Sad that other locations have closed.

Yelp
This place has really gone downhill. We were there on a Thursday and it was half full. The service was REALLY slow, both from the front and the back. I think they were understaffed, but no one said anything; we just had to keep getting the attention of various people. The baked brie and spicy prawns were great......but everything else? The fried chicken romano - WAY overcooked chicken and the pasta was like a cheap, dry spaghetti. Two of us ordered this and they were both really bad. The chicken marsala was cooked well, and was tasty. Not great, but no complaints. The halibut was dry and there was nothing to enhance the natural flavor. Our friend said he had never had burned rice before - it was just bad. Lobster mac and chop salad are longtime staples here and both were good. But, overall, we left really disappointed.
google avatar

Janeen M.

Yelp
We had heard so much positive things about the dates appetizer we just had to try it. I made my husband eat them as I couldn't - the Gorgonzola cheese was just too overpowering. For my entree I Ordered the short rib pasta for $35. Barely any meat. I was disappointed. Hubby ordered the fish and chips. 3 big pieces of battered cod and a ridiculously large quantity of fries. Much better deal at $28. Waited a long time for the waiter to offer us dessert and by that time we had stuffed ourselves with the fries. They were very tasty.

Yelp
My husband and I come here literally almost once a week, it's our favorite place! Great service and reliably incredible food every time. We stick to our usuals most of the time but we are never let down if we branch out on the menu. The baked brie is to die for and the chicken marsala is sooo good! Tonight we came in with a group for my husband's birthday and it was great as usual. We were sat early- yay! My husband accidentally broke a wine glass while telling a story and waving his hands around and we felt really bad. Our server was super nice and helpful in getting him a new glass and helping us clean up- we really appreciated that. Anyway, we will continue to frequent purple! It's our favorite! Thanks for making my husband's birthday a good one!

Yelp
Service clearly makes ALL the difference! Makes good food taste excellent and makes an outing outstanding! As meantimes, always loved the food and location! Great restaurant, excellent vibe and fits beautifully in our countryside Woodinville wine village! With new team of servers bringing up the morale up, everything is just flowing beautifully! Special out out to Amy (Amherst) and Alicia who checked on us throughout our meal! They were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful with suggestions! We weren't rushed, we felt welcomed. Our meals were brought in a timely fashion, literally no hiccups and unnecessary waits! They were happy servers doing a great job!

Yelp
One of our stops on the Seattle Winery Crawl! We had a good time! So much so I neglected to take photos so you will just have to check this spot out and report back to me! Staff was fun! Establishment was clean and Comfortable too! I believe we enjoyed a Merlot and a Red Blend that was splendid!

Yelp
One liner: good food, good wine, not great coffee and a bit pricey. We were here for brunch on a Sunday because we heard good things about this restaurant's Seattle branch. It's a nice place with good indoor seating, a really good looking bar and a decent amount of wines to choose from. I felt like it would have been a better dinner spot than a brunch one... Because it's hard to justify wine in the mornings... Haha We got the shakshuka, pasta and the French omelette. Everything was delicious and I'd particularly recommend the Fusilli pasta to spice lovers. We also got the brewed coffee which wasn't that great - too sour and acidic (maybe it was the beans they were sourcing). I would suggest skipping the coffee and going for the other beverages ;) service could have been better. Our waiter approached us when we were deep in conversation twice. And then took a long time when we were in fact ready to order. As one of my friends put it, "reading the table is an art"

Yelp
So sad to see the Bellevue location close but at least this place is still in operation. Location is perfect. Many former options around to keep you coming back in the area. The service was very slow unfortunately but that didn't dampen our mood; food was tasty. The standout was the Brussels sprouts!! It was cooked perfectly. Just know this place currently does not serve hard liquor. They do have a tasty wine flight and beers. Definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
We didn't have reservations but got found 2 spots at the bar right away, which was convenient. The server was super attentive, had good recommendations and was really fun/funny! The SPICY PRAWNS, omg! The best of everything we got! So creamy, sweet and spicy all in one. We could have ordered another order! I got the purple chopped salad which was great and a great size for a full meal, and my husband got the short rib pasta which was also very good! Very cute spot, I will definitely go back!

Yelp
Made a lunch reservation for 4 on a Saturday on Open Table. Arrived a few minutes before they opened and the parking lot was almost full and there was a line outside as they checked people in. Masks, vaccination cards and ID required for indoor seating. When we got checked in, the hostess started heading outside and I had to stop her to say we requested standard indoor seating via Open Table. She said we didn't have that designation but luckily I pulled the confirmation up on my phone to show her proof, and then we were seated indoors. It was probably the coldest table by the door and there were many more in the restaurant available so that was annoying after having to prove we requested indoor seating in the first place. Service after that was better but nothing special or notable and we enjoyed all of the breakfast menu items we ordered like the dungeness crab benedict. Parking was tough even though we had the earliest lunch reservation available but it was free in the shared lot.

Yelp
Purple is one of my favorite go-to's for wine combined with delicious gluten free options. I was disappointed their Bellevue location closed but their Woodinville location is a nice compact version of my much loved Bellevue haunt. The industrial theme and beautiful dark luxurious decor and atmosphere are the same and I just love it for an intimate dinner with the husband or our friends. Service each time I've been has been solid with the server being savvy on gluten free options. They do not have a dedicated fryer for things like fries etc, but they do have gf pasta meaning their truffle Mac n cheese is always included in my order. On our last visit we had the shrimp appetizer and I didn't sample the fries, the kale salad was fresh and delightful, and my Mac n cheese was just right. I'm sure it won't be long before we return for more libations and delicious gf noms.

Yelp
Finally made it here and happy we did. Came on a week day so it wasn't busy like how others commented on how busy they can be. We tasted their wine flights of red. And ordered the baked Brie, which was delicious. A must try. We ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Soup was just ok but the grilled cheese was good with crunchy toasty gooey cheese. The dip sandwich was very good. Overall we had a great time.

Yelp
Super underwhelming. Calamari was rubbery and under seasoned. Sent it back for a salad, which was tasty but oddly room temperature. Both of our pasta dishes (crab linguini and chicken marinara) were under seasoned and extremely average. Service was mostly nonexistent despite the restaurant being half empty when we arrived.

Yelp
Went with a group of 12 last night. Great service , variety of wine and the entrees were superb. I'd highly recommend

Yelp
We came here for lunch after some wine tasting. The place was super busy, best to make reservations. We were seated inside near the fire place, very dark and intimate. We ordered crab cakes, roast beef dip sandwich and the short ribs. The crab cakes were delicious. A little on the smaller size but good amounts of crab. My short rib was good. I liked how it was tender. Needed a tad bit more salt, but it was a good portion. We didn't drive, but parking looked hectic!

Yelp
I have no idea why this is my first time sharing a review about Purple Cafe & Wine Bar, as it came highly recommended upon my relocation to the area 2 years ago. Everything about the establishment (besides parking,) location, ambiance, menu selections, service, & quality/taste of food is great!! My husband and I love champagne, but have previously been able to find a great Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc to pair with our meal. If you have made reservations I highly recommend giving yourself additional time to find adequate parking. For reference, we ordered to go tonight and found temporary parking to be difficult. Overall, we've always had great dining and tasting experiences at Purple Cafe - Woodinville it's one of our favorite date night establishments; I highly recommend.

Yelp
We came here after an afternoon of wine drinking nearby. I mean, you're in Woodinville and I wasn't expecting anything extravagant or blow your mind meal, but it was definitely mediocre and way overpriced for what you get. You are in a plaza near other tasting rooms so parking can be a pain in the butt. Anyway, don't come too hungry since portions aren't very generous or that great

Yelp
All looks and no substance! Don't order the pasta. The ambience is nice, the baked brie is excellent. However, their sauce tastes like hamburger helper. We also ordered the pesto cream sauce, which looked just like this but green. It tasted just like warm fruit loops. They went way too heavy on the lemon. I know how good that picture looks, trust me you won't be able to choke it down.

Yelp
Located in Woodinville. A busy area! Traffic circles and parking was hard at first but finally found a parking lot down the hill near the playing field that was open for parking. Got the sparkling wine and halibut with gnocchi. Food was fine, service was a little odd and off. Ambience is nice. Be prepared for lots of traffic and somewhat confusing driving area. Hard to turn around if you miss a turn in. Otherwise a nice evening!

Yelp
We just had lunch and with Avery as our server, it was an incredible experience. She was fun, funny, witty, attentive, super knowledgeable of the wine and the menu, and she gave us an unparalleled experience. We laughed the entire time! Would come back here again just to have Avery as our server.
