Where to Eat in Ditmas Park Right Now | Eater NY

"This Filipino restaurant is home to an inviting space with colorful abstract art and an open kitchen. The crowd ranges from Filipino families from afar to neighborhood residents, to those drawn by a 2021 Bib Gourmand review. The menu’s Filipino classics include lumpia, tocino, and lechon Kawali. But the husband-and-wife duo of Amy Besa and Romy Dorotan, who many credit for introducing Filipino cuisine to a wider audience in NYC, have also added not-to-be-missed dishes like the pa jun Korean scallion-and-shrimp pancake, ukoy (a vegetable and shrimp fritter piled high on a plate like a blooming onion), and a velvety, vinegary-sweet chicken adobo. Regulars know to order the mango tart with mango ice cream, an off-menu dessert option. Like most spots in the neighborhood, the breezy, bamboo pole-wrapped backyard is open when the weather is right." - Gabriella Cascone

Google
Absolutely great and personal service. The workers/owner seem really passionate and happy to work there which is underlined through their fantastic desserts. I got the ube Cake Jar with ube ice cream which they served in a glass jar (that they let you take home) and it was so sweet and tasty! It was $10 and a steal as you feel fulfilled after only eating half—definitely great for sharing with friends!

Google
Cute dessert Filipino shop. Got the Ube Cake Flan and the Jar Thai Tea Cake with the Coconut Pandan Ice Cream. The Ube cake was delicious and not overpowering but the Flan was a bit hard. The Thai Tea Cake with the Coconut Pandan Ice Cream was the clear winner. No compliants!

Google
Hidden gem in woodside for Filipino desserts! There’s seating inside - great for a sweet treat hangout with friends. I love how they have $1 🧁 cupcakes. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for something large that’s sweet and it provides the perfect dose of sweetness. Ice cream flavor recommend ube and pandan. Only complaint is that the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock - it is something easy to implement and fix.

Google
My first time trying their Ube cake, i saw it online and i got slice. The cake was a little hard and not enough filling and icing. It wasn’t smooth at all. I was almost gonna buy the whole cake, good thing I didn’t. But the place is so nice and the staff are friendly.

A la Prince: Purple Dough, Purple Dough Purple Dough, Purple Dough Purple Dough, Purple Dough I only want to see you eating inside Purple Dough Seriously, dough, this place is the bee's knees. You should be inhaling pastries inside on a regular basis. Get the Ube Crinkle Cookie for soft, chewy, purple goodness. Get the Ube and Calamansi Mini Cupcakes for bite-sized flavor bombs (skip the Coconut Pandan--no flavor). Get the Halo Halo to cool down with the Philippines' version of shaved ice. Get the Ube Leche Flan for cake and jelly goodness. Fun fact: The owner quit his corporate job to start this place and learned to bake while building this bakery. Respect, man.

Google
My favorite dessert place in Jackson Heights/Little Manila! This place specializes in ube drinks and sweets and the menu is innovative and impressive. Everything is done incredibly well, tastes umami-like sweet with bright purple ube colors. I absolutely love their halo halo and baked goods! They have everything from cakes to shakes, even ube flan and soufflé. So happy this place exists, they expanded to a new location and have an abundance of seating now!

Google
I was thrilled to discover that Purple Dough in Woodside offers vegan donuts! Finding vegan pastries can be a challenge, especially in the area, so this is a great addition. The donuts not only looked beautiful but were also incredibly tasty. I love that I can enjoy a sweet treat without compromising my diet. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for delicious vegan options, definitely check out Purple Dough!

Google
I LOVE this place, and it’s a must-visit every time I’m near the neighborhood. They have such delicious and special flavors. The cake is my favorite (we got our wedding cake here) but everything is tasty. The new space is really lovely and comfortable, and the music gives it a very cozy vibe. Great both for ordering desserts for special occasions and for hanging out with a cup of coffee and a treat.

Yelp
I love ube and this place was definitely ube heaven. My friends and I were passing by one day and decided to try a couple of desserts. We got the ube madelines (picture attached), ube flan cake (unfortunately was devoted before picture ), ube latte (also forgot to take picture), a coconut Pandan jar cake with Pandan ice cream (picture attached) and a ube mini cupcake (picture attached). Firstly, the ube flan cake was definitely a fan favorite. It was one of the last desserts to touch the table and the first ones to be finished. The coconut pandan jar cake with the Pandan ice cream was one of my personal favorites although I do have to warn you, DO NOT COME WITH A FULL STOMACH. I wanted to finish this so badly but unfortunately I had to tap out. The ube latte with coffee was not very sweet which was perfect for me because I do not like to drink anything too sweet when eating sweets. Now, I would've given a 4.5 stars if possible because the Madelines and the mini cupcake was a little on the drier side for me, however, both the cashiers that day were super sweet and their service honestly made me and my friends days. This made me definite that the store deserved its full 5 stars! I will definitely be back to try more desserts and take in the vibes of the store!

Yelp
There's a selection of bubble teas and pastries from cookies to cakes. You have to try the ube Leche flan

Yelp
Shout out to the very sweet, and very tall gentleman who was super apologetic when telling me they were out of mint lemonade. He made our visit so lovely. Staying true to their reputation, Purple Dough was a perfect end to the hot day. Known for their Ubé treats, I was happy to see they had some available for the day. I snagged my fav, their chocolate crinkle cookie, and a few Ubé cupcakes and vegan cake donuts to bring to my family. Don't be afraid to take pics in front of their purple flower wall. She's so cute, and it makes it that much more inviting to stay here. As we left I sipped on my hibiscus tea and it was so nice a refreshing and made me not miss my mint lemonade at all.

Yelp
Super cute filipino bakery in woodside! My partner & I have been looking for the best halo halo and right now this is our favorite one! Super friendly staff and the halo halo was made fresh super quick. We ordered this to go and they served it in a mason jar. Definitely will be reusing this glass jar at home. Definitely will be coming back soon to try out other goodies

Yelp
Second time stopping by. Both times, the bakery items did not taste/feel fresh but rather a day or two old combined with refrigeration which makes the cake stiffer. Personally I prefer lighter and fluffier cakes while I would describe these items as a denser bite. However, I do love the variety of flavors. Can't name another place that offers as many appetizing flavors as this bakery.

Yelp
Ate here today on a really hot day after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 361 Q that I only brought and ate the halo halo. It had tasted really good and sweet. The service there was also attentive, friendly and super fast and thanks to Chris for naking my halo halo really good and efficient. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Yelp
Craving something sweet and decided to try this spot out. We decided to get the coco pandan shake, calamansi nice, ube flan, ube cupcakes and a couple of their donuts. It was delicious! Def will be back. Location also provides ample seating. Staff was attentive and really nice. Great service!

Yelp
Located a block from Roosevelt Ave. Metered and street-cleaning parking nearby. Went once to their previous location. This one is spacious, with a few tables (I feel can fit more), a purple flower wall and bench for photo-ops. Restroom available (with a key). Menu on the wall, mostly for beverages. Tried the Durian bubble tea $5- just ok. At the counter, can see the baked/dessert items with their prices. A variety to choose from. Tried their coco pandan and mango mini cake flans. I liked the flan - rich, dense, sweet so small portion only for me. The cake was a smaller layer compared to the flan so the flavors weren't as noticeable. Price was good at $5. Am not a cupcake person but liked the ube cupcake texture and taste. Only $3. Smaller cupcakes available for $1 each- if you want a taste of a few flavors.

Yelp
The place is very cute and chill. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I got the Ube cannolis, ube cupcakes, ube flan coconut pandan shake, and taro bubble tea. Ube cannolis were my favorite, shells were crunchy and the filling was the perfect sweetness and flavor. The ube flan was good, but maybe I should've let it sit out for a little. Its was a bit firm. Cupcakes were as expected, delicious. Taro bubble tea was ok, the Boba was overcooked and had a bitter flavor. Coconut pandan shake was refreshing and it had sago in it.

Yelp
They've moved locations but are still amazing! I recently had my fave ube crinkle cookie, plus a trio of mini Cannoli - ube, coconut Pandan and Thai tea flavors were all spectacular. One of my favorite bakeries ever!!!

Yelp
I was in Queens and I wanted to visit Kora for dessert, but they closed at 4pm so I started to search online for the next best thing and ended up at Purple Dough. Bought several items to go. I enjoyed their Ube latte and their Ube flan. And they had something called a silvana cookie which was pretty good! It is a Filipino cookie consisting of a layer of buttercream sandwiched between two cashew-meringue wafers coated with cookie crumbs. Def recommend the Ube pistachio flavor. Also tried the $1 cupcake, calamansi flavor and it was just okay.
google avatar

Yelp
Purple Dough branded itself as the solution to NY's lack of Filipino pastries but that only goes as far as name only. There's nothing creative beyond slapping ube into dough and calling it a day. An ube enema would be more novel. I've patroned once and a few of my friends have gone on separate occasions and the general consensus is "eh". Bottom line is the pastries are dry and flavor is lacking. Even dryer is the cashier's attitude. She was even snarky to my friend. I'm sorry do you not want our money?

Yelp
Absolutely perfect experience, best flan I've ever had. The ube flan is perfect (please ask to heat it up!) and and so creamy, and bouncy, and the ube cake is so sweet (in a good way!) There is ample seating and the inside of the restaurant is v in theme (purple of course). Ambiance 7/10 but that honestly is not why I'm here. Service is nice! 10/10 couldnt ask for more from a bakery.

Yelp
If you like tropical flavors - ube, pandan, coconuts, mango, guava, and more, this is the place for you! They have a wide selection of mini cupcakes with interesting flavors. Although the flavors are unique, it's difficult to really differ between these flavors with such a small bite. I think there's a lot of potential playing with these unique flavors - but just the cupcake itself with whipped cream was too plain and the taste didn't stand out. We also got the Ube and the coconut pandan flan. The dessert was exciting as there is also a layer of cake underneath the flan. It was a bit too sweet for me but the normal size is perfect to share for 2-3 people. This is my first time trying mais con yelo since it's a famous Filipino desserts. It's definitely an acquired taste. The dessert consists of milk shaved ice with vanilla ice cream topped with boiled corn. The portion size was huge I was able to only eat 10% of it. Definitely stop by whenever you're around Jackson Heights. It's a nice place to relax and take a small desserts break. The staffs are super friendly.

Yelp
Came here due to reading they made Ube pastry. We came here near closing time ordered Halo Halo, it is with shave ice and different, types of treats, candi fruits beans and top off with Ube ice cream. Since it was close to closing time the Halo Halo was put in a Mason jar to go, the Halo Halo should not be packed into a jar, it should be done in layers. First there were too much ice, not shave finely, beans was under cooked, not much of candi fruits and ice cream, only the ube ice was good. We ordered flan over ube cake, that was good, cake had ube flavor and flan was smooth and not too sweet.

Juliana R.

Yelp
The BEST ube and Filipino desserts I've had in a long time! Tried the ube flan, while my friends had the ube frappe and halo halo. All were super delicious!! I even asked for an off-menu ube and coconut+pandan latte, and they were able to make it (deliciously too!). The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was very clean and has cute decor. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice spot to grab dessert and a drink!
google avatar

Delino S.

Yelp
Ordered hot chocolate & a vanilla cupcake. The hot chocolate was average and the cupcake was a bit dry so I was disappointed. Also, this place was a little on the dirty side: Every seat we almost sat at was dirty so we moved until we were by the last seat. And the floor was sticky - you heard every step. I'll continue to look for the best hot chocolate spots in the neighborhood. The service was friendly though so thank you !

Yelp
Came here after a disappointing dinner at a restaurant just down the street and this place really saved the night! Ordered the ube flan and also got a couple mini cupcakes for free from their Yelp check-in offer. Their mini cupcakes are pretty forgettable in my opinion, but hey they were free so can't complain (also showed up about an hour or so before closing). What really knocked this place out of the park for me was the ube flan though. It was served warm and wow it was epitome of the Asian parent dessert eating trope of "not too sweet". The ube cake part was extremely moist and the flan added a nice layer of sweet/silkiness to things without being overbearing. It was a great dessert and I would absolutely love to get a full sized one for the next time I have a birthday party or event I need to bring dessert. Otherwise, space itself is pretty standard. A few tables and chairs and a small couch. Cute small business type cafe and you can see the open kitchen in the back. People working were friendly. Would definitely recommend trying their ube flan and I plan to come back to try more of their desserts!

Yelp
I came with my friend to Purple Dough because I was interested in Filipino desserts, I love ube flavor desserts, and I have always wanted to try Halo Halo. Unfortunately, I don't think this was a good place to try it. To my understanding, Halo Halo is supposed to be composed of layers: shaved ice, condensed milk, jellies, flan, macapuno, palm seeds, sweetened red beans, shaved ice, ube ice cream, fresh fruit, toasted coconut flake, etc. Ingredients with contrasting textures that when mixed together give you chewy, crunchy, creamy, and sticky. The Halo Halo ($10) here did not really have layers, the ice was chunky and stuck together, the flan did not taste good, and minimal fruit. Only the small scoop of ube icre-cream and the ube paste was good. The ube latte ($5) had a strong ube flavor. The shop is very spacious and open, but service was a little slow despite us being the only party sitting in at the time.

Yelp
I ordered a pandan birthday cake from here and it was very good! I really like this bakery's unique asian flavors and would love to come back and try their halo halo or ube cake. Comparing this cake price to others I've researched, it's way more affordable and great quality! Ordering was also super easy, as I was able to just text in my cake order. There is a lot of space inside the bakery too, plenty of seating.

Yelp
Quiet location with few people. Grabbed an iced ube drink and enjoyed people watching. Service was fast and pleasant. Could be a great study cafe :))

Yelp
Such a great selection of Filipino desserts here in Woodside. The Halo Halo came in an awesome jar that I've kept and reused at home. It came with all the classic toppings. I also got the calamansi, Ube, coco pandan mini cupcakes and ube puto. I felt these were lacking flavor and I couldn't really tell the difference between them. The ube latte was good overall, but also missing on a strong ube flavor. Overall it's a cute spot and I'd come back for the halo halo
google avatar

Amy Z.

Yelp
front counter said the halo halo wouldn't melt in 10 min bc he put it in a mason jar, but it still melted when i got back home (not even 10 min away). not only that, but the halo-halo didn't even have much flavor... latte also tasted watered down... cupcakes were the worst part- it had a lemon dish soap taste... disappointing. :(( also i'm pretty sure after multiple times of asking for oat milk w my latte, the front counter who also made my drink still used the original coconut milk i asked to change.. kind of disrespectful after i clarified my opinion multiple times about using oat when ordering
google avatar

Sharis C.

Yelp
Came here based on all the good reviews but was disappointed by the desserts. They have a good selection with good prices, but the cake I got was not good. It was super dense and dry, and did not taste like the Thai tea flavor at all. Just super sweet and chewy.

Piel P.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! You get hit with the smell of fresh cake before you make it to the front door. I tried the ube flan and it was perfect! Not too sweet and the flan was on the firmer side, which I love. Excited to stop back in and try something else.
google avatar

Aleena A.

Yelp
This is a lovely unique spot that specializes in Ube flavors. I had ube flan and ube donut and ube cookie. The crinkle cookie I had a day later in the cold was a little dry. Ube flan was amazing and the donut was nice too. Would love to try and ube drink!
google avatar

Ditas F.

Yelp
Cute place, lots of sweets and cupcakes to choose from. They have hot coffee and some bubble tea also. Friendly staff
google avatar

Yeebing T.

Yelp
This place has really pretty interior and the workers were great! There's a nice wall with purple flowers with a sofa that you can take a photo in front of, and a display of wedding cakes near the counter. We got the Crinkle Cookie, an ube cupcake and the Ube Leche Flan. The cupcake and cookie were perfect but we found the flan to be way too sweet. We split one flan among four people and yet I still felt myself developing a sugar rush. Had it not been for that, I would probably give this place five stars. I would be willing to come back to try some of the other stuff if I ever find myself in this area.
google avatar

Geoffrey N.

Yelp
I've read so many good things about Purple Dough, I had to make a special trip from the other side of Queens out here. Maybe they just had an off day but I sincerely hope this is not their norm. We got their chocolate cookie, ube cookie, ube cake, and some cupcakes. Everything tasted like soap! To be exact, it tasted like Dawn Dish Detergent. It's almost like a little bit of Dawn got into the mixing bowl and that's all I taste. The ube cake was the only thing that tasted like it should. Though I don't think it's anything special. The cake was incredibly dense and it tasted fine...but compared to the rest of the things we got, the cake was phenomenal. I won't make another special trip out here...but I may give Purple Dough another try if I happen to be in Woodside. The only reason why I didn't give a 1 star is because the staff was very nice.

Megan B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! The ube canoli is insanely tasty. Wonderful staff and owners. Purple Dough is a must try!

Yelp
I've recently [earlier in 2023] discovered / developed an intense affinity with UBE. It is such an incredible and irresistible flavor! Had some Ube ice cream at a shop in NJ, but Purple Dough takes the [DELICIOUS UBE] cake! The counter-serve place is spacious and it offers a few tables, and a sit down area that is adorned with purple flowers (how nicely fitting!). Everything that we got was soooo good - such a delectable, fun, and delicious treat!! Highly would recommend. For me, it may be a few months until I'm able to afford another treat again!
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
This place has a great selection of Filipino dessert. The Halo Halo is not the best I've had, but was pretty darn good. I've only had regular flan before so it was interesting to try the Ube Lech and Mango Leche flans. Out of the 2, I'd pick the Ube Leche.
google avatar

Hallie C.

Yelp
Kept seeing on instagram so i thought i should try. Bought ube flan(it was the driest flan ive eevr tasted in my life....!), the ube donut was meh.... Not chewy or moist, ube cookie was ok. Not too sweet so it was ok. Mini cupcakes? Thank goodness they were free otherwise id have been upset. Was it worth to trip? Def not NOT. Will i go back? NO WAY.... Sorry... even if someone was to give me a free gift card, ill give it to someone else... not eating theirs again.... Wow the worst ube experience ever.... Such a big disappointment......

Yelp
I think it's criminal that I haven't updated my review to reflect my new, exceptionally positive, experiences at Purple Dough. Since my previous, less than stellar review, I've had the pleasure to stop by several times. Each time was a great experience and I couldn't be happier to share with others. These folks are still doing what they do best, making great baked goods and providing excellent customer service. The new space has a similar selfie-friendly wall as the last location, but now with way more seating. My go-to here is always the ube flan. You get the best of both worlds, that delicious custard with the richness of the ube. I love coming here solo, if I'm in the area, but I'll also go out of the way if I'm with friends that want something sweet to eat after drinks or dinner. If I'm having Thai in the area, this is where I go after. If I'm having korean friend chicken wings, this is where I go after. If I'm having tacos, this is where I go after. Highly recommend everyone to enjoy some of the amazing baked goods here. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet after dinner or just want to treat yourself, you'll be glad you stopped by.

Yelp
I think Purple Dough does ube really well; the Halo halo and ube flan were delicious! My Thai Tea mini cupcake, on the other hand, didn't have a strong enough Thai tea flavor. Same goes for my Calamansi donut, which just tasted like sugar and was missing the tart, sourness of the calamansi fruit. Purple Dough is a great place to go after a dinner in the area, as it's open till 9 pm. It has ample seating and wifi, making it a good place to even do remote work!

Yelp
Craving Filipino cuisine? This bakery has exotic flavors! Cakes, donuts, cupcakea, shakes, ice cream, and juices. I got the vegan pina colada and coconut pandan cake donuts. Phenomenal flavors, moist and very rich. The pina colada one seems like the topping is similar to a pineapple upside down cake. Staff was very patient as we couldn't decide what to get Plenty of seating available. Vegan and GF AKA gluten-free choices. Prices are very reasonable, and packaging is nice. Staff wear masks.
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
My friend wanted to try this place because her friend recommended it for gluten-free dessert. We arrived just when they were about to close, so a lot of items were sold out. We ordered the gluten-free ube donut, pandan donut (not gluten-free), dragon fruit bubble tea, and mini cupcakes (not gluten-free). Everyone was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was very cute, and they had a purple floral backdrop for Instagram pictures.

Yelp
they're a short walk from the main street. i turned a corner and it felt very residential. quite a big space for a cafe with lots of seating. there's a very wide selection of pastries and drinks. i wanted to try so many but too many sweets to be eating in the morning so i only got a few. i noticed a range of patrons here from friend groups to families. many were clearly filipino. i would definitely return if i was in the area! 4.5/5 ube latte - strong ube flavor! best ube latte i've tried anywhere. wish this was creamier though. 4.5/5 coconut pandan latte - great coconut flavor. pandan taste is light. i wish it was a little creamier but really wonderful as is. 3.5/5 thai tea leche flan - really dense flan. moreso than others. there's flan then a cake layer underneath. both dissolved in my mouth with a really creamy mouthfeel. doesn't really taste like thai tea but still good 4/5 calamansi cake donut - the citrus taste was immediately there. not a huge fan of the frosting on top though. the fruity pebbles were fun for texture but i could have done without it. the cake itself is a little drier than i'd like. overall wonderful flavor, would recommend trying esp since calamansi is a hard flavor to find.

Katie L.

Yelp
Delicious ube and pandan flavors & yummy vegan donuts! Food, service, ambiance 10/10 lots of love
google avatar

Anna F.

Yelp
The food was meh. disappointing The brown sugar bubble tea - boba was wrong texture and gets stuck in straw. Didn't taste the tea at all Durian boba - durian smell but taste like sweet milk only Assortment of mini cupcakes - none of them had any flavors. All tasted like yellow cake Ube flan - best thing we got Ube cupcakes - eh Cannolis - ube, mango, pandan all were eh. They weren't filled all the way. The middle was hollow.
google avatar

Harry X.

Yelp
I appreciate what they're doing here. We tried: Ube leche flan- the ube component to this was dense, but if you're a fan of ube and flan, can't go wrong with this. Pandan cake- my favorite of the two! Layers of moist cake interspersed with frosting, and the pandan flavor cuts through nicely. Not too sweet and not too rich, in the best of ways. I don't go to Woodside often, but next time I'm in the area I'll return for sure.

Yelp
One of the cutest cafe's you'll come across in queens. I was so sad to see they closed their original location but was relieved to see they just moved a few blocks away. This location is more spacious, but everything is still ube themed. The staff is always kind and the ube iced latte is hard to disappoint. Prices are pretty good too.
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a quaint spot. It is very minimalist with a decent amount of seating and a cute photo wall that's perfect for IG. The menu is expansive enough and is perfect for all the ube lovers out there because almost everything has ube! The ladies who were behind the counter were very sweet and helpful to our large party. We opted for their Halo-Halo and also grabbed two bite-sized cupcakes. I loved their Halo-Halo! It was so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. The bite-sized cupcakes came in a variety of flavors such as green tea, calamansi, and (you guessed it!) ube! We enjoyed our green tea and ube flavors. Our group also tried the Jackfruit cake, which was interesting and pretty good. They have other desserts and baked goods, including lattes, bubble tea, flan, cookies, ice cream, and cake donuts. I recommend popping by this spot if you're in the neighborhood and craving some unique and yummy desserts!

Yelp
I was here with some others after going to one of the Filipino spots nearby. The cashier was very friendly and gave a good rec to someone else. I got the ube leche flan as well as the silvana (traditional) with a crinkle cookie after finishing to go while someone else got the halo-halo. I believe someone got a drink as well. The Ube Leche Flan was quite tasty. The top half had a good ube flavor and was moist while the the flan bottom wasn't overly sweet with a good bounciness. The silvana was also very good. This consists of layers of frozen buttercream with cashew flavored meringue and is a cookie version of sans rival. They also have a pistachio and ube flavored as well. The frozen buttercream has a good texture and the nuts added some crunch. The ube crinkle cookie to go which was pretty good though the ube flavor was a lot lighter than the topping of the flan. Still good. The other person enjoyed their halo-halo (or in short a shaved ice with a mix of fruits and other things. I tried a bit and it was solid and nicely presented with the glass jar.

Yelp
Halo Halo is a MUST here. So delicious, perfectly layered and served in a glass mason jar. They only have 1 couch in their bakery so you can enjoy it there or take it to go. It's a small store, and you can tell everything is made with love here. TIP: Check in on yelp to get a free mini cupcake! To be frank, the mini cupcakes are dry and very small (bite sized) cakes. They do not taste very fresh or moist, and im not sure if they are in- house Despite the cake being dry, you can tell that the people here are passionate and love what they do. The wall is decked out in photos of custom cakes and when customers came in to pick up the cake, the shop workers were excited to show off their creations

Yelp
I recently stopped off here for a Crinkle Cookie, after having learned about and tried my first Ube Crinkle Cookie recently in Hawaii. I searched around New York when I got back, this was one of the only places that had them. It was more on the chewier side than what I had in hawaii and less cakey, it was not as good as Hawaii, but it was still very good. Summary: Really good place, tasty food, friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Great donuts, came here twice in our stay. Love the matcha latte. Had a lot of flavor. Definitely come back next time.
