Google
Cool brewery that screams Colorado cool. Our party enjoyed the craft flights and we 6 gave a thumbs up to return as we frequently meet up to FoCo. Hubs and I split a small flight of 4. Enjoyed all ou selections. Snacks including soft pretzels, nachos, excellent salads. Ample free parking. Great bartender.

Google
Great cute little brewery. They offer 4, 5, or 6 brew flights. They do have snacks options to nibble on. All the beers tasted great that tried. Ladies, if needed, they do have feminine hygiene products in the bathroom.

Google
Only had time for one beer but the IPA was really good. The bartender, Joe, was really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back when I'm in town. The atmosphere is comfortable and has a nice cellar vibe. There's a bit of a patio as well. Definitely recommended.

Google
love this spot. a hidden gem in a sea of choice city biers. their brewers are absolute weapons, and i have never had a bad beer here. I always try to stop in

Google
Spectacular beer, definitely stop by and try some. Small batch only(?) I think... Their sour (pictured) was especially excellent (not a wimpy one like some others;) Love this place & the people.

Google
I want to like Purpose brewing, especially as a fan of sour beers, but their beers have been very hit-or-miss for me - especially their IPAs and other non-sour varieties. Their space is fun and creative, and their bartenders are informative but not especially friendly. On the handful of occasions that I've visited, I've been left with the strange feeling that I'm somehow an imposition while drinking their $9 beers. I will most like not visit again any time soon.

Cozy, soft-yellow lighting with rustic Colorado decor, along with complex and simple-sipping small batch beer, made Purpose my favorite brewery in Fort Collins. The bartender was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable making us feel right at home. Our favorite seating area is the barrel room in the back of the building past the bar. Every beer we tried today was exceptional, with the Flemeshied being my favorite and the first beer I've had in awhile making me feel as though I was back in Belgium. Will definitely be back for Irish Music and trivia nights.

Google
This is a quiet little bar, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and the beer was refreshing. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed. It is not a large place, so that lends itself to a calming vibe. It is off College behind Barnes and Noble on Mason Street. They have a private room upstairs to hold small gatherings. We had 16 people in that room tonight. Check out this gem among the many bars that Fort Collins has to offer. It's a great place to hang out and talk. At least it was for me on this Monday night.

Yelp
Another day.. Another city.. Another brewery.. Van life is the only life! We stopped in to try some beers and immediately loved this place. The decor inside is warm with lots of wood from old barrels and the bar is live edge wood. Lots of seating inside (a few different rooms) and a few seats outside. We bellied up to the bar and ordered a flight of beers so that we could try some different styles. All of the beers were fantastic from the barreled sours to the lager to the stouts. Our bartender was helpful and very knowledgeable about the beers being served and beer in general. A great experience.

Yelp
I used to be on top of my game with whatever breweries were opening in Fort Collins because I lived there! Now when I go back to visit it's a whirlwind of going to favorite restaurants, seeing family and of course going to favorite breweries and the new ones that opened up too since I left. Purpose at least in my mind is one of the newer ones that have come about. I did enjoy the beer I had from here, the Dunder Hoppe! This was a farmhouse IPA(but it's termed IFA)using several different kinds of hops, a couple different kinds of yeasts and a pilsner malt. Very good IPA(IFA) this one was. It had all the highlights that an IPA should have but without the edged bite. At least that's my experience with this IPA and other farmhouse style breweries. It's a refreshing change going to this beer style and brewery .

Yelp
Went here on 5/2/21. All I have to say is amazing. The beers are always amazing. Always changing. Friendly bartenders. Great ambiance! I wish lived closer! Bartenders are wearing mask and sanitizing between customers. Cheers!

Yelp
Phenomenal beers, very tasty and the vibe is absolutely immaculate. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Friendly staff and awesome beers! My boyfriend is from Fort Collins and had been itching to take me to Purpsose for many years. I'm kicking myself for not stopping by there sooner! They have a small-ish menu, but their offerings pack a punch! The menu is ever-changing, so you can go weekly and always be able to experience something different. We went on a Sunday and they had a food truck set up outside. We would have grabbed some food to go with our beers, but we had a family event to head to. I've been regretting not grabbing some food because whoever the truck was, their food looked incredible! My stomach is grumbling just thinking about the glorious plates of fresh Mex passing by us as we drank our beers. Purpose definitely needs to be added to your list if you're a beer lover in or around Fort Collins. Highly recommend the "Smoeltrekker" beer, but if you love it, make sure to take a growler home since they change so frequently!

Yelp
Excellent selection of drinkable craft beers in a comfortable setting - in a town with dozens of breweries-- this is a nice down to earth establishment

Yelp
Went here last night and it was fantastic. Great service and incredible beer. I tried 3 different types and they were all amazing. This place is on my list for when I come back to Fort Collins!

Yelp
Love this place - very friendly staff and comfortable seating (although a little cold when temps drop outside). Cool atmosphere! Like the idea of rotating selections and have enjoyed almost everything I've tried. Cheese plates they offer are a nice snack Also, dog friendly...even with my 100 pound Rhodesian ridgeback puppy that is much more than a handful. Staff is awesome with him. We return often with and without the puppy. Highly recommend

Yelp
My visit to this brewery was one to remember! Such interesting and tasty beer! Not the biggest selection, but all are expertly made. Staff here are awesome. They are more than happy to talk about the beers and make conversation. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed. The inside is super cozy and a lot quieter than other breweries in the area. They have separated the space nicely to create several smaller areas which helps with the noise. I like sitting in the cellar room. It would be an awesome space to host an event (which you can do!). There is a small selection of snacks. Mostly chips and nuts. You can bring in food from the outside though and there is most likely going to be a food truck if you go around a meal time. They also have a selection of merchandise if you are in need of some new beer glasses, t-shirts, or other fun things. If you find a beer you like - you will need to make several visits close to each other as they rotate the beer often and have lots of small-batch beer that you can only get while supplies last. I like that they do a lot of those so you can try new things and seasonal beers are always fun. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Purpose has the best beer in town. Each flavor stands out, with no extraneous or muddy notes. Really, I'm not a beer fanatic, but even an amateur can taste the care and precision that goes into their beers. It's also a friendly and welcoming place, with music and dogs and regulars and food. Unbeatable!

Yelp
Best craft beer i've had in FoCo. Stop by when Shell On Wheels is there and have a great evening with delicious crab cakes.

Yelp
This was a super fun brewery to visit! I have been wanting to come here for a while because I have heard what a great rotation of beers they have. I was not disappointed! There is a nice parking lot and the taproom is cozy and small. A different rotation of beers will be there each time you come, with a wide variety of fun things to try. The beertender was energetic, helpful, and knowledgeable about the beers and had something to say about each one. The glassware is really cool and is carefully selected for each beer, making for a very interesting experience. While I was there, I started to wander to see the back area where they have the barrels stacked. While standing back there, the owner and brewer (Peter) came up to me and started talking. He told me about the barrels, to include the famous rare barrel "Ph 1" barrel that is currently stacked at Purpose Brewing. Look it up! He took me on a tour of sorts, telling me all about the place and the brewhouse section in the back. He was very friendly and it was a pleasure to talk with him. I had the red lager "Take It Easy" that was on tap, and then tried "The Snifter" porter, which was wonderful and strong (11.8%). I will definitely be back to see what's on tap and enjoy the really neat environment. I also might pick up some of the cool glassware and apparel for home.

Yelp
Love the intimate atmosphere here paired with expert brews. While the selection is smaller than most, when you master your craft the way Purpose has, it's more than enough. Their blonde sour aged on Groth sauv blanc barrels is my personal fave! The service is also on point. You are made to feel like family which blows me away since the reputation the owners have built is deserving of celebrity status!

Yelp
Come here. It's delicious. Yes it's in a strip mall, who cares. The beer the ambiance inside and the staff are incredible!

Yelp
This brewery has great variety. I tried a flight. All Keyed up was a perfect start. Added bonus of crab cake food truck on site. Yummmmm

Yelp
This place keeps getting better and better. You actually can hear yourself think. Wine cellar meets brewery. Music meets cool bar. Select but great beers. Sours are a little much but all else is amazing.

Heidi P.

Yelp
Friendly spot with a great atmosphere and good beers. My husband stops here after work when he's had a long day. He has one beer, and then he comes home happier. Thank you, Purpose.

Yelp
I do not think this place makes a bad product! Everything we tried was extremely enjoyable, especially paired with the rustic and cozy atmosphere. Plenty of options for every taste, and a sweet patio to bring your pup to enjoy a tasty beverage on if you don't opt for some games and time inside. Parking is easy, customer service is fantastic, there's no reason not to stop and give them a try if you're a beer fan!

Rachel T.

Yelp
Fantastic beers with a cool concept. This is a true passion project for Peter and it shows. It feels like a family operation (because it is). New beers every week too! I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Always a fantastic brewery to visit in Fort Collins. They have a way with cellaring and barreling beers that other breweries don't. I am not a sour fan at all but the sour they had on tap tonight was out of this world. My wife had the Dozen Roses and she said it was her favorite beer in the last year, anywhere. The floral flavors were so unique and interesting. Purpose brewing is a brewery to visit whenever passing through Fort Collins.

Anthony J.

Yelp
Just opened and the beers here are refreshingly unique. If you like barrel aged artisanal beers you gotta try this place. I'm definitely coming back soon to see what else they come up with. Cheers!!
google avatar

Diego G.

Yelp
A beer that tastes like tacos! Need I say more? Just double check the hours before heading over there.

Yelp
There are better breweries than this in Ft Collins. They had 4 beers on tap so be aware that this place is SMALL. Very nice people and cool space but won't go back. Lots of people with kids at this place which I think the owners encourage. There is nothing for kids at a brewery. Wish people would keep their kids away from adult places.

Yelp
I absolutely love Purpose!!! The beer is mind-blowing, everyone there is so friendly, helpful, and humble. The couple who own it go around talking to everyone and know several people by name every time I've been there. I really love the small, intimate atmosphere of this place. It is so personal and there is clearly so much passion behind it. I love the decor and lighting as well. Plus, I usually bring my dog which is always nice! There is no other brewery I've been to quite like this one, hands down my favorite.

Yelp
What a fun place. I got to meet Peter and had a good chat. Beer it fun and refreshing. I plan to go back as soon as I can. Every beer is barrel aged and served at its perfect time. The beer is put on tap when its ready.
google avatar

Aleigha H.

Yelp
Purpose is a different style. The brewer calls himself an artist and so different flavors are pulled every week. I was surprised that they didn't have styles of beer more descriptions of beers they currently had on draft. Seems like tasters would be the best option at this brewery. It has a new modern feel inside.
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
Fantastic beer, comfortable space and friendly staff. Their hours are limited but it takes time to make beer this good.

Mike S.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and good beer. Different beer flavors than the other small breweries.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Craft beer in every sense of the word. If you really love beer, this is your place!

Karen S.

Yelp
After touring at New Belgium and hearing the story of how their head brewmaster retired and then started his own tiny brewery, we visited that one - Purpose. They only have 4 beers at a time and we tried a flight of what they had that day. The most interesting one was a "street taco" brew, infused with tortilla chips and peppers among other ingredients. It REALLY tasted like a taco in a beer - and it was a very good thing! Cool little place to hang out for awhile on a drizzly afternoon.

Gary P.

Yelp
Amazing beers! Finally made it there for my first time and was not disappointed at all! We were there as soon as it opened and had the pleasure of talking with the owners which are the most gracious hosts. This place is a must! Get away from the same ol' New Belgium and Odell, Purpose makes beers which will remind you of why you like craft beers!

Brad E.

Yelp
I had their Friends with Benefits IPA and it was delicious! They even brought us a complementary tray of cheeses, nuts, and meats. I've been on a Colorado brewery tour for the weekend, and out of 20+ breweries this is a top shelf place. The staff was extremely friendly and jovial! I highly recommend giving this brewery a try!
