If you know me, you know I have ridiculously high standards for coffee. The coffee here is "pretty good" -- interesting beans brewed on solid kit by skilled baristas who take the time they need. The flat white was exceptional, with ideal texture and textbook contrast of flavor between the espresso and the milk. The Kenyan espresso could have been tuned better, to my light-roast taste, and I felt the pourover could have had more contact time. Pursue is a great neighborhood spot. They get to know you, and they care about making a great experience, including food and coffee and service. They contribute to their neighborhood and the coffee is only part of what makes this place great.

Found this little treasure a year ago. I have been back over and over. The service is amazing and the coffee is delicious and always so pretty! The parking is small, but you can easily find parking across the street. Trust me the treat is worth it! 🥰

Pursue Coffee is the essence of a neighborhood shop; warm, inviting, and serving exceptionally delicious coffee & breakfast. The atmosphere is this shop is fostered by their owner David, who really cares about people and coffee. Their water kettle is perpetually set at the exact temperature needed for pour overs, and these cups end up tasting better than what the roasters could have hoped for. They also do all their baking in house and the food delicious. This is obviously extremely rare, and another example of just how different this shop is. If you want a great, local experience, go to Pursue Coffee!

Staff was super nice and friendly! Building looks rough on the outside but is cute inside, just really small. Our lattes were only filled like an inch from the top which was too bad and the milk was frothed too foamy with no latte art which is why this isn’t 5 stars. It is a decent specialty coffee option but could find better. The flavor was great though and they make their own vanilla bean syrup

One of the best coffee experiences I’ve had! The flavor is rich and full-bodied, with an especially clean and pleasant aftertaste that lingers just right. You can tell they use high-quality beans—everything from the aroma to the finish speaks to their attention to detail. Highly recommended for true coffee lovers!

My favorite drip coffee in the South Bay. Has a great charm to it and is a quiet relaxing place to enjoy a high quality coffee. Homemade baked goods are delicious as well.

The best mocha in all of LA is found at pursue coffee. And that’s just the start. The owner pays such attention to every detail and it really shows. From the perfectly poured pour overs to the delicious matcha latte, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. The food is also incredible. I don’t even like egg salad toast, but theirs is to die for. And their avocado toast, the eggs are perfectly cooked and the avocado perfectly ripe. It takes every ounce of my self control to not one bite the entire thing. Highly recommend trying this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Pursue is an incredible coffee shop that delivers on every level. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed into a warm, inviting space with a modern yet cozy design. The combination of rustic wooden tables, industrial-style chairs, and soft lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere—perfect for working, catching up with friends, or enjoying a quiet moment. The coffee is outstanding. Every drink is made carefully, using high-quality beans that bring out smooth, bold flavors. Whether you go for a velvety latte or a perfectly brewed pour-over, you can taste the craftsmanship in every sip. Their pastries are just as impressive—fresh, flaky, and the perfect pairing for your coffee. The staff at Pursue goes above and beyond. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about coffee.
