Chelsea was so sweet and let us play a second time! She was very sweet and gave great recommendations. Honestly the best mini golf course even better than the ones in Austin.

Putt Pub is the perfect spot to hangout with a large group of people! even if you choose not to putt putt, there are many free games and activities around the property. At night, the vibes are upbeat as the music is on point and the yummy drinks flow! you can find Jonathan at the bar who has a great conversations with his customers. If my friends and I spot him, we immediately know he’s the one for a good drink and a good time!

Went for karaoke night last week. The bartender was great and the vibe started off fun. Unfortunately, a man "performed" a song with extremely graphic and violent lyrics depicting assault and strangulation, which was jarring in such a small setting. I’m not blaming the staff for the song choice or the individual’s actions, but the situation wasn’t addressed afterward, and there’s no justifying that kind of content in a public setting. It completely changed the mood, and we left immediately after. I’d recommend some basic content awareness for karaoke.

We brought our 16yo here and we all had a blast. Great, clean atmosphere, tons of games to play aside from the mini golf course. Which was extremely entertaining! We stayed for 2 hours but could have stayed longer if we weren’t already worn out from our day. The staff was always smiling and we really didn’t have to wait long for anything.

Putt Pub is the perfect mix of chill vibes and fun competition. Drinks are solid, staff is great, and mini golf just takes it to another level. Easily one of the best hangout spots in San Marcos!

Jonathon, a bartender that works the weekends here, can create any drink you desire. This spot has been a go to for my friends and I for years. It’s hot gem in San Marcos!!!

Great spot for a fun night with friends or an active date night. Eat before you go, the food truck is way overpriced. Carpool, parking is limited.

Had a great time celebrating our daughter's college graduation this weekend. The course was fun and challenging. Lots of other games too; we played pool, darts, corn hole, and ping pong. Something for everyone to do. Their food truck had the best nachos. We built our own with so many yummy toppings to pick from. Lots of room to spread out and eat. A evening of fun for the whole group! We'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time here, for a celebration of my niece and new nephew's marriage. They had a private wedding before a judge, then treated us all to a fun party at this putt-putt (and other games) course, with a well-stocked bar. They rented out the space for several hours for our private party, and it was great. Since they don't have a kitchen or serve food themselves, they allowed catered food to be brought in, including the wedding cakes! It's rare for our whole family to get together aside from holidays, so we all had a blast. We missed my daughter who lives in NC, but her twin was in from Dallas, along with various parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It was great seeing everyone in a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere to celebrate their marriage. Congratulations! Thank you for good food, good company, good drinks, and fun times. I highly recommend this spot that's not just for putt-putt!

First things first it is kid/family friendly! I love that! Parking is limited but you can park on the side of the dollar store right behind. Next if it's during the day there is no food, the food truck opens at night around 7pm but we were informed that you can Uber eats food to you! That was pretty cool. Things to do include: Putt Putt, corn hole, Jenga, giant connect 4, giant beer pong and a few others. Drinks I recommend are the cougar punch and as a alumni the Bobcat Lager! Great fun!!

Great venue for mini-golf and some drinks. It was very easy to get started and the staff was very attentive. Music was upbeat and fun.

Really cool place! We showed up eighth when they opened. Sundays is $10 all day golf and there's free games like corn hole, ladder ball, checkers, beer pong, a seesaw (adults!) and more. Definitely a cool place with good music and the golf holes are really fun! I bet it's a way different scene when school is in and it's nighttime. We liked how it wasn't too crowded and all the drink options. It was just so dang hot! We wanted to play more than one round but called it quits. Free water is a plus- don't need to ask for it- they just have jugs of it and cups.

Putt and Pub is one of my favorite mini golf date night spots! It's a drive from Austin, but so worth it! I wish we had something similar closer to Austin, because I'd I come I always have to get a DD or just not drink really, which is fine, but mini golf is always more fun with a little liquid courage! That being said, Putt n Pub is perfect for dates, hanging out with friends or even visitors (not family friendly though). They have lots of fun yard games to play outside of just golfing, they have two bars and a pretty good dj. The only com is usually you're going to run into a lot of college students, since it is down the street from Texas State. Never have I come out and not had a good time here!

Great spot- fun, Putt putt and drinks. Lots of fun! Would go again . I would even go back and take my teen- family friendly (I feel like).

THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE!! I am a social event coordinator and I planned a large event here! The owners was SOOO easy to talk to and communicate with and extremely patient with my changes and requests! All of the people absolutely loved it and had a great time! The staff is amazing and the owner is super nice. The putt putt golf course is literally amazing like nothing I have ever seen before!! It is so fun and unique!! I would 100% recommend having your next event here or just going with family!!

Loved the vibe. Will return. Lots of things to do for all ages. Lots of adult drink choices. Didn't try food though.

Customer service was fantastic. Environment very fun. Beer selection very good. For a game of putt putt it was pricey, and pricey is the reason for the 3 stars

This place is so much. So many free games (giant jenga, ping pong, etc) and great outdoor space. Love sitting around the fire. Reasonably priced drinks. Great place to tap into your inner child. There is also a nacho stand (food truck) but I haven't tried it yet.

Very cool place to hang out, have a beer, play some creative mini golf holes and other patio games. The bartender was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. We had a great time!

We have a great time every time we come here. They change up the course a little each time we have been so it's fun seeing the new holes. Really fun games and great place to hang out and have some drinks.

This place is so cool. There's not many fun things to do in San Marcos (besides drinking) and this place put a good twist on that. The bar has swing chairs, the mini golf is super creative with tons of ways to get holes in one, and the workers were incredibly friendly and helpful. Also golfing on Sunday was $7 for unlimited rounds! Badass!

This place is really really fun, we brought my little sister and she had a blast. Great drink specials and awesome putt putt course.

Such a fun and low key place! If you're looking for a chill, entertaining venue for a friend or family gathering.. this is it! They had a variety of lawn games and activities other than putt putt, which we spent lots of time getting through. There was never a dull moment! The playlist was fire, staff was friendly, and the putt putt was more fun than your average putt putt place with super unique courses. The cocktails were affordable (I recommend the Putt Punch!!). Mini golf was $12/person and totally worth it!

Came for a first date earlier this week, the amount of activities other than puttputt kept us entertained. I loved the easy access to drinking water and the staff was very nice. We took a huge liking to the adult seesaw but there's really so much to do!

Great early activity, esp on a Friday night in August. There was a lot going on here. Groups of people hanging out with each other just chillin at cool Adirondack chairs, groups of people, including dates, playing mini golf, and others playing cornhole. There were a few different places to get drinks so you always had one in your hand. Enjoyable. Relaxing. Fun.

Just showed up at 11:22pm to golf with my daughter and they said they are closed because everyone left. However, people were still drinking at the bar. The web site says open until 1am. I asked if we could still golf and he said no.

What a FUN place to play putt putt, hang out and enjoy time outside. The bartenders and staff are energetic, fast and fun. I will definitely return for another outing.

Owner was very friendly, great set up, good drinks. Fun atmosphere with friends or for dates. Lots of seating areas and a cute little propane fire table to gather around. TVs to watch the game and overall a super fun place. Been three times and enjoy every time. Loved the putt putt, see-saw, cornhole and connect 4!

Nice outdoor area, well lit outside. They had karaoke, nice. But I will not recommend this place for my bad experience. I purchase craft beers and one of them did not taste the way it should. I took it back to the bar and said I wanted to exchange it. The person at the bar said they had to charge me full price for the other beer. I said.... I'm bringing this one back. He said sorry... I had to charge you for the beer. Never heard of this before. I've been to aqua brew just across the road and they have better service. I might add that this place don't have happy hour. And the beer prices are over priced. If you want a good price and you like bud light, and ultra light this is your place. We like craft beer and they are $9. Aqua brew down the street have happy hour everyday from from 4pm to 6pm half price beers at $2.50 and $3 craft beers. They continue a double happy hour from 8pm to 10. I will continue going there. They have a nice area as well. I will not be coming back.

This is such a fun place to spend a night! My friends and I come here whenever we aren't feeling the full square vibe but want to drink and hang! The course is really fun and around the yard are tons of activities like a seesaw, tetherball, corn hole and other things! I recommend it to everyone who asks me what bar to go to!!

The Putt Pub is so fun! I went with some friends for a Christmas party. The course was really fun! My fiancé had a burger from one of the food trucks and he really liked it! I can't wait to bring some more friends there!

Came here for a friends birthday, I'm am LEGALLY 22 years old, and the bouncer denied me saying they have "6cops inside" and when I asked for them to get one of the cops to check my ID the bouncer said "no I can deny anyone I want" maybe because I am gay and had my finger nails painted ... Um I don't know .. anyways first time being denied when I'm legally over the age of 21? Uneducated bouncers.. sad business...

Brian was super nice and helped me and my boyfriend with our first location in a new city.

Came here for the first time Saturday night with a group of. The place is really cool and it has a chill vibe, all the staff was cool except for the guy at the outside bar, I believe his name was Foo. He had an attitude the whole night and his bar area was never busy. I had cut my finger and had my husband get a napkin, he asked if he had napkins and the bartender smugly said "Nope" and walked away. He was short with me earlier but I didn't think much of it. We quickly stopped going to him to order our drinks and just went inside. I'd rather wait in line for better service then deal with someone's attitude. I'm just there to enjoy time. Fortunately all the other staff were friendly and cool

This place is one of a kind! Super impressed! Incredible atmosphere, outstanding staff, and amazing detail on each hole. If you're looking for a good time for adults, outside, safe, fun, clean, great drinks, great service, and the best people get on over and play!!! Job well done!!!!

Kids should be allowed here after 6. It's not like we're here at midnight. Just trying to have some fun with my kids while the sun is up.

Extremely rude staff. Wanted to go here for the first time to celebrate my 21st birthday because it seemed super cool and fun, but my friends & I were denied entry when we are all of age. Clearly need to higher new bouncers who know the difference between real and fake id's.
