"Opened in Fall 2022, Puttshack is an indoor mini golf venue located in the Seaport. The two-floor space features four nine-hole mini golf courses, and each has an interactive tracking system that keeps and displays the score on the big screen. It has an extensive food menu that takes inspiration from global cuisines, as well as a cocktail menu highlighting the trendiest cocktails of the moment. If you’re more of a beer drinker, there are multiple local craft breweries on tap, including Sam Adams, Jack’s Abbey, and Downeast cider." - Valerie Li Stack

If you want to have an evening shooting some golf balls with amazing music playing in the background then this is the place to go. Interesting game layouts, good use of technology in the game and self explanatory screens. Enjoy the game with your favourite drink in your hand. The staff manages the crowd well and the bar offers a good mix of drinks and food .

The concept is phenomenal. Indore put put paired with video games and technology. It all falls apart when the bar, back of the house, food, and service are stuck in a permanent rain delay (in doors). The food is cheap and overcooked, and the server never cared to ask how things are going 22 minutes into our food delivery. Perhaps Date Night in Boston has been dumbed down along with corporate America's expectation of consumers. Food - Thai chicken was overcooked, and peanut sauce was watered down, with actual water. The BBQ flatbread was under cooked and as underwhelming as your service staff who have up on us after ordering food and drink initially. How hard could it be to walk by and ask if we would like anything else or clean the tables around the restaurant or putt putt the area. Yes, I would like a beer, and my husband would like another IPA, but we will.wait, and wait, and wait until we get frustrated 10 minutes after asking for the bill. The best part was the manager, Derek, who tried to make the night better. He was excellent regarding listening to our experiences.

I went to Puttshack for a professional holiday party/networking event, and my coworkers and I had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the mini golf courses were really fun with creative themes/ designs. I've already been showing my other coworkers pictures and recommending the experience to them. Would happily visit again!

Great team building exercise . We had a private party which was definitely the way to go . The servers made it feel like VIP coming to get drink orders as we played and refilling food regularly . The putt putt itself was super fun, interactive and the whole team enjoyed it .

We went here this past Thursday with a reservation made online and did the before 4 offer of -buy one round and get a 2nd round for half off-bc $18 is quite expensive for just 9 holes of golf and bc 9 holes goes very quickly. Plus we wanted to see more of the unique. They were quite fun. Unfortunately we didn't get to do any of the ones we were excited to try such as the beer pong, skee-ball, and basketball hoops. The computer automatically chose which courses we were assigned to-Ruby and Sapphire. When we were waiting to begin at the second course, we noticed the first 2 holes were the same, so I went over to the attendant at the first course and vocalized our concern. She assured me that only the first 2 holes are the same and the rest are unique. Well, when we were on the 4th hole we were able to see that actually 6 out of the 9 holes are the same. We did not think we could stop while in the middle of the game, but when we finished, I went and told the attendant, so that she would not give others the inaccurate information. She actually responded that she knows! Then I said that she had told me it was only 2 and she replied, "yeah I know". And kinda just poo-pooed me. So then I went to the guest counter and the young man there told me that If we hadn't finished our course, we could have played a different round but since we did, we cannot. Terrible customer service. I could understand if we hadn't said something before we played, but I DID say something, and was LIED to by their employee! They should have righted their wrong! Businesses need to understand the value of running a business with integrity but they clearly don't. I have a co-worker who told me about her bad experience here when I was telling her about mine. This tells me they have some learning to do as a new business. Don't be fooled by their response to me. **Update-Management eventually, after a month, got back to me and we were invited to play a free round of golf at the green course to compensate for the unprofessionalism shown by the staff there. If you do 2 rounds there, you want to do the green course and either the Ruby or Sapphire. Not both the Ruby and Sapphire unless you like repeating the same course twice with just different themes applied to the same strategy. It is a very fun time.

Google
This was a lot of fun, staff pretty helpful, great that you could drink and golf at the same time, loved the trivia holes 🤪. The food was okay, service was great. A little expensive if you’re just looking for something to do with the kiddos, but a great spot for a first date or even date night in general. Group outings could get a little crowded but could split up among the three courses! Highly recommend

When I heard that we were going to a mini-golf, I was like, "Great. Been there, done that." But this place is something else! After 8 PM is 21+ only and it is poppin'. The courses are next-level tech, like an episode of "Black Mirror."

Google
Reservations mean nothing at this place. Made back to back 30 min res and couldn’t start our first round until 15 minutes after our start time. They still take walk ins and just stack everyone. Took almost two hours for 18 holes. Photos are the line ahead for our “reserved” time. And we had to wait because they ran out of balls in the machine (they filter back through when people finish. Just another example of how many people ahead of us).

Yelp
Great experience! I loved this Puttshack, specially the Emerald section. Food was decent and served quick. We loved the drinks as well. The golf balls often times hang and eat up play time, the management should look after that issue. Overall, I love the vibe and recommend it.

Yelp
After a VERY long day at work, hubby and I decided to try this out. Let me tell you - it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The golf was super fun! We signed up for two "courses" and ended up playing 3 because we were having too much fun. This place is so interactive - the lights along the courses, along with the screens showing scores as you go, are fantastic. Great concept and even better execution!!! But let me tell you about the food and cocktails ... they were just as good as the golf - if not better. We sat at the bar in between rounds and had food. The edamame was delish - the poutine is to DIE for - and the lettuce wraps (with beef) are addicting. The staff and bartenders were incredibly helpful and wonderfully nice! I wish we had more of these - especially in my hometown - but we will definitely be back when I'm Boston!!

Yelp
Came here with a group of 7 on a Tuesday evening. The check-in process was relatively smooth; the only downside was that their coat check was closed that night. We played the Emerald course, which we finished in just under an hour. The tech-infused concept behind Puttshack is pretty neat - the system keeps track of the number of each strokes each player takes for each hole, and there are opportunities for earning extra points in each round as well. I wish the course had more holes, or longer holes (it was very feasible to complete each hole in two strokes).

Yelp
Had so much fun here with my friends. There are a lot of unique and cool courses. We didnt get to try the food but we took tons of pictures and had a great time.

Chloe T.

Yelp
Fun putt putt experience. Similar to a "top golf" experience with bars and food available. I will say that it was a bit expensive for just one course. It goes by so fast, that I would only want to do it again if I could do all the courses for the price I paid for one. The individuals assisting us at the course were super helpful and the inside was very cool. The putting experience was unique!

Yelp
Back to the Future Part II was released in 1989. When I was younger, I loved to see Robert Zemeckis's vision for what the future could look like 26 years later. Alas, we do not have a self-drying jacket, but the technology here is arguably over and above what he could have imagined. This is some of the most technologically advanced mini-golf I have ever seen! The system tracks how many times you've hit the ball, and displays it on the screen above. They also make it fun by adding hazards and bonuses which can help or hurt your score in addition to how many strokes it took to get the ball in the cup. For example: all holes have a green tunnel which gives you a hole in one plus a bonus. For hazards, one of the hole is a true or false game. If you guess incorrectly, you lose points. I love this spin to keep things interesting! The nine holes in a course are also unique and creative in their own ways, each with its specific challenge! There is one with drums, one with ducks, and one of the courses even has a skatepark-like element. However, this is related to one of my critiques. There are three courses, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald IIRC. When booking, there is no option to select your course - I went back and checked. I had the opportunity to play on two of these, and some of the holes were the same (such as true or false), and some were different (the skatepark one, for example). While I can understand the reasoning behind this, some ability to choose would be nice, for I want to try Emerald, and haven't yet. Considering the location and the experience, especially with everything that goes into it, I feel that the prices are reasonable, especially if you get the second game at 1/2 price!

Yelp
Came to just dine in not knowing it was an indoor activity/arcade kinda spot! Food was yummy, vibes were great, and service was excellent! We were a fairly large group of 10+ people but they accommodated us very well.

Aditi D.

Yelp
Came to this tech-infused mini golf place with my friends on a Saturday night. We made reservations a couple of days before so we just had to check in at the entrance. It's costs $18 for a 9 hole course and each ball is linked with your personalized game profile. They have a bar and their mini golf courses have tables to place drinks at each hole. The game lasts for about 30 min to 1hr depending on the group size and crowd. Overall we had fun and I'd definitely come back!

Jenna O.

Yelp
What a fun thing to do if you've got a little extra time to play a round of 9 holes with a friend or family. It is also a great place to plan a date, or meet up. This place picks up in people as it gets later in the day so I suggest getting a reservation, if you're going after 3 or 4 pm. And that goes for all the other locations of puttshack as well (I've been to a few locations now). They also have 4 different courses, including handicap available courses for those who can't do stairs. Honestly a lot of fun for anyone you'd want to bring. They do serve food and drinks here so it is a good time in a lot of ways. I think this place is a lot more fun with people but you could go alone.

Yelp
My original review is below from Summer 2023, but here is my updated review with some details to add. I still feel the same for the most part. I will add that parking around the premises is nearly impossible. There are paid garages that easily charge you $20+ to park. The atmosphere of the establishment is definitely a vibe and as far as food, this is somewhere you'd want to eat light and not heavy. It's a fun place to at least visit once, and on my second time back, I can share that it's not worth another visit. --------------------- I love the concept of the courses while golfing, they had cute themes and a nice variety, but the courses a really short. Your ball is tracked digitally so you don't have to keep track on your own score which is such a cool concept! I hope they invest more into extended these courses, but in my opinion it is not worth the value of playing. I don't see myself returning to play again, but I will check to see if there are any changes periodically that might bring me back. As far as the food & service. The customer service is nice! Everyone is friendly and will help if you have questions. The food is expensive. Personally when the starters/ appetizers are just as expensive as the actual entree, you might as well make them entrees. The food quality is ok, the Buffalo Chicken dip was not; it's pretty bland and extremely small in portion, but pretty expensive. Overall this is spot is very VERY ok

Taina R.

Yelp
This place is awesome! I love How easy it is for a 4 year old to understand and play too! My daughter just kept talking about how much fun she had. Ordered her ice cream and we had a Japanese type of bun. When I'm In town we will definitely come back here.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Much cooler than expected! My husband and I came here on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. We made reservations online in advance, and it's a good thing we did as the place was packed! Everyone gets a ball that has their name electronically attached to it, so when you put your ball down to play, your name pops up on the screen. The ball also keeps your score electronically. Each station has a little table next to it so you can put down your drink, phone, etc. while you play. We didn't eat here, but there was plenty of open space with tables and a big bar next to the golfing area. I would definitely check this place out if you're looking for a unique mini-golf experience!

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Came here with coworkers for some midday competitive fun. Puttshack is one of many indoor activity places that have been popping up in Seaport. There is complimentary coat check-in at the bottom, and the courses/bar are upstairs. There are courses on either side, and both are quite small. Each level in the course has a TV screen that tells you what to do, whose turn it is, and the current score. After everyone in your group goes, you move onto the next level, and another group will advance to where you were previously. So basically, the entire course is shared but you move as a group. Overall, I had fun, but you pretty much finish within 30 minutes, and it's not something that varies each time you play. However, you could always chill at the bar afterward, as there are tables in the center.

Dan M.

Yelp
This place is amazing and worth a visit. Fun for all ages and takes the fun and magic out of mini golf, digitizes it and adds cool crazy elements that will put a smile on your face. Add a full bar to the mix and it should make for a good outing for you and your crew. We came on an afternoon to beat / avoid the crowds on our first visit and we had a lot of fun, so much we splurged for a second round on a different course. They have 4+ courses you can try each with unique hole experiences. The loops and jumps and banks and creativity were well done and the point scoring incentives are enough to get you to try new things. The craft beer choices were nice and we enjoyed a small appetizer

Heather H.

Yelp
My company had a national business line review meeting and came here for the team building event. We had a great time. It's nice that you are able to bring your drink with you while you PUTT around The food was pretty good. Service was ON POINT! Overall we had a blast. Highly recommend for a date night , friends night or business night!

Kayla K.

Yelp
My partner and I came to Boston on a cruise and decided to check this place out because we love mini golf. Puttshack absolutely did not disappoint. Really easy walk from the cruise port and there was not any wait to get started every though there was a private event happening on the first floor. Bar staff was super attentive to us and the patrons around us while we were playing asking if we needed drinks. The game itself was so creative and the technology was awesome. All elements on the holes looked to be in incredible shape and we never saw any holes that were broken! The ambience was incredible. We decided to actually stick around and pay for another round because we wanted to try more holes and if the first floor was open, we probably would have played a 3rd game. The computer system places people accordingly so you're never sitting and waiting behind a group of people which allowed you to really appreciate the theming of each hole. If we ever end up back in Boston we will definitely be coming back!

Olivia W.

Yelp
It's good, not great. The concept is really fun (the computer tracks your ball through all the obstacles and totals your score at the end, no math for anyone!), but in actuality we ran into a lot of hiccups. The technology didn't work all the time so we had to repeat a few holes, the lines were long even with advanced reservations - they seem to stick everyone at the same course (there's 4 or 5 total, all fairly similar) who's there at the same time so inevitably we ended up waiting in a 30 min line to even start golfing. They ran out of balls since there were so many people and you can't golf without the balls so that added even more time... Overall Puttshack has a lot of hiccups they need to work out. The service was very apologetic but it was very crowded and the experience wasn't worth the price in my opinion. Our drinks were also very watered down so that added to the disappointment.

Kelly Z.

Yelp
There are 3 mini golf courses : emerald, sapphire, and ruby. Each course is $18 per person and has about 9 holes. They give you a personalized ball that automatically tracks your number of swings and counts your points for you on the monitor. I really like this because you can just focus on having fun without having to keep track of points or wondering if you are counting correctly. We did the emerald and sapphire and I enjoyed the emerald more because it had the beer pong hole. Both courses are very interesting and creative in its own way, there are holes that implemented True or False games, spin the wheel for bonus points, and lots of moving objects to spice up the course. There are also hazards and bonuses that you can obtain throughout the course. I went with here with my boyfriend and for the both of us 1 course took about 20 minutes. The bar is also spectacular. I enjoyed the special cocktails such as the top shelf margarita $17 and the shots such as the kamakaze shot $11. We also got a corona for $7. The korean bbq beef buns (3) were also very delicious, super soft buns and very tender and juicy beef. The drinks and food was great, and the ambiance was super casual on a monday night. It was not very busy or packed at all during this time so we were able to take our time with the mini golf, and enjoy a casual conversation at the bar. Overall I had fun! This is my first time here and it was a great place for a date night or a place with friends. Very chill and relaxed place.

Gloria L.

Yelp
I thought this place was pretty cute. They serve food and drinks here as well. Overall it was a fun time, just really crowded and too many people waiting. I think there needs to be better spacing between groups so you're not just backed up on one another. Lots of space to put your drinks so that's nice. The holes were creative and fun, but a lot of repeats between the different courses. 9 holes go by pretty quick unless you're waiting for a group. The food was surprisingly good, I wasn't really expecting much. We just had apps and drinks. The Buffalo chicken dip was my favorite and they gave plenty of chips for the dip. I think this is a great place for a date night

Stephon M.

Yelp
This was great to do in off hours! I've been here twice..a Saturday and a Wednesday and by far the Wednesday experience was 10x better! Good to show up for your appointment and start playing vs being in an extremely long queue even with an appointment on Saturdays. Good vibe and music. The staff when you first sign up clearly didn't want to be working that day but luckily you didn't have to engage with him after the initial setup. I recommend grabbing a beer at the bar then heading over to play. They should find a way to have drinks delivered to you while you play instead of people trying to run off to the bar real quick. In general i would definitely come back during non peak hours

Marci P.

Yelp
This was very cool! Went here for a work event. Great view from the second floor and food was good. The putt putt experience is next level. You don't have to keep score as the balls are registered to you. There are spots on the course for bonus points and negative points. Servers will also bring your drinks to you while you are playing. Hoping we get one closer to where I live!

Raelynn V.

Yelp
A super fun and innovative Putt-putt experience! Not only is each hole themed and unique, there is electronic tracking on the ball and opportunities for extra points on each hole to make the game more competitive. Definitely take your time and enjoy each hole because it will go by faster than you expect! There is also a bar on site to kick back and relax after (or before) your putting! Although it is a bit pricey, I had a lot of fun and would absolutely go back!

Katie C.

Yelp
Not sure why the reviews are so low. I went for the first time this past weekend and thought it was fun! There are 4 courses named after gemstones. It looks like Amber and Ruby are very similar, and Emerald and Sapphire are very similar. So two copies of two courses. Each course is 9 holes and $18 per person. My friends and I played Amber, the only one on the first floor. We were a group of 6 and it took us about an hour to complete. I do wish there were a few more holes, but oh well. And like others have noted, you definitely cannot just walk in. We made our reservations over a week ago. Even though the place was pretty packed, we were able to grab a booth after our game and tried some food and drinks. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was tasty. I didn't get a drink but the cocktails sounded good. Overall, I'd say both the food and games are slightly over priced, but what isn't nowadays? It's a fun indoor option especially with colder weather and I'd go back again!

Mouf K.

Yelp
Puttshack is relatively new to Boston located in the Seaport area. There is a parking lot right next to the Puttshack. Puttshack is not really for kids. If you are looking for family fun I wouldn't go to Puttshack. There's a long wait to golf and the place was very crowded. Food was surprisingly really really good. I ordered empanadas, burger and fries. The garlic fries are addictive. Everything was really good. Mini golf was cool. There are tables at every hole so you can put your drink on the table, play the hole and then grab your drink. Waitress was great and always around and very quick with the drinks. It was a really good time playing golf and drinking. Would I go back? Yup! It was a good time and I need to try other things on the menu.

Carlie C.

Yelp
Puttshack is such a unique and fun experience in Boston! Great for an event, a fun night with friends, or a date spot. The mini golf is very gamified and they track the balls and scores on a screen, which makes the golf fun and easy. The drinks are delicious as well!

Denise F.

Yelp
Absolutely love Puttshack! It's a great addition to Boston nightlife. It's a large venue that's open late with great food. The music selection was perfect, something for everyone. There was a long line to play mini golf on a Friday night. Most people didn't seem to mind. There's a bunch of different seating areas to choose from. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, 4/5 , Boston Tailpipes, 5/5, and pornstar martini 4/5 Boston tailpipes are lobster Mac and cheese fried spring rolls. Amazing!

Riley S.

Yelp
I was hopeful for Puttshack, but honestly, was not worth it! We had a group of 9 & paid $18 each for a pre-reserved tee time on Saturday night. They were absolutely packed. It was easy to understand which of the 4 courses we were on by the multiple screens & our party name. But, other than that, there was no sense of organization. We were in a mosh of a line at our "Amber" course and we were actually not playing until 7:50 & our reserved time was at 7:20. Everyone was cutting lines & finally when we got to where they hand out the electronic golf balls, even more disorganized. Each member of our group was supposed to sign in with our info prior to our reserved time & there was nothing posted with that info. It took an extra 15 minutes to sort that out. We were split into two groups one after another which was nice. Also, we did not feel rushed at all while actually playing. Each course only has nine holes, which was sort of a let down, but it took us about an hour to play so no true complaints there. The concept is actually really cool, though! The holes are themed to different party games & you can gain bonus points and such. All in all, wish it could've lived up to my expectations!

Emely R.

Yelp
Brand new, awesome staff, fun tech mini golf, and awesome drinks and food!!! We came here with a friend who lives in town and it was definitely a great spot of a drink or two and to play mini golf indoors. The price is $18 per 30 minutes per person. The drinks range from $14-17 The food is around $14-19 They have a coat service as soon as you enter and the games and bar are upstairs. Great and fun time for friends and family. A little pricey but I think it was worth it to experience!

Holly B.

Yelp
Great concept and very exciting environment and location! I love a place that is inviting for all ages and groups. You can go here as a date night, family day or hang out with a group of colleagues and or friends. Upon entering the vibrant colors and loud chatter draw you in. They have a coat check which you will def need to use, trust me it's not fun trying to golf and hold your coat and bag at the same time! We came around lunch time to eat. We ordered 5 different appetizers and a 4 entrees and 3 desserts for the whole table to all share. It took almost half an hour to get water and place our food orders. Once the food arrived there were a few stand out dishes. The crab dip and freshly made chips were fantastic, garlic parm fries, beignets w/ the awesome salted caramel sauce and the dessert flatbread were all great. We had reservations for 2:45pm to play. They say it takes about an hour to complete. I would recommend making a reservation as they can get packed quickly. We were a larger group of 7 which can delay the smaller group of players behind you. There were a few issues that I think they are trying to work out but each station we went to had a few issues and it wasn't registering our names or the points we collected throughout. At times it was hard to find assistance so it was easier to just keep playing and do the tracking ourselves with own points vs using the actual tracker from our personalized golf balls. I wanted to give three stars due to the lack of service and extremely long wait times to get our food but I also understand it was a school break week and they are still a new establishment. I plan to return soon and hopefully all of the quirks are worked out.

Marni M.

Yelp
Made reservations in advanced as I've heard this place gets booked out quickly. We got there at 9 pm on a Thursday to find them already very busy. There are a few full bars for drinks. Depending on where and when you book, you have the option to do different courses in addition to the one you registered for. The course we did had 6 interactive and varying challenging holes. Overall, I had a lot of fun and would come again. Prices are a little high but expected being in Seaport especially.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Very disappointed with this location. The only reason why they received an extra star was because the drinks were good. Otherwise, my group of 10 promptly arrived for our 10:40 reservation. The coat check was closed so we had to carry our bags and coats throughout the course. As we approached our course, we found out that the ball machine was broken. We had to wait about 30+ minutes to receive balls as they "ran out of balls." We started our course until we reached a road block where one of the balls stopped working. We were able to troubleshoot and get another ball. However, then we noticed certain parts of the courses were not functioning as they were expected to including lighting and robotic features. Sadly, we did not feel that it was worth our time or money to stay for the second round. This place has a lot of potential but it would make sense to close a course that has these issues. I really could go on, however, I would rather spend my time doing something more fun while in Boston.

Danyel M.

Yelp
Since they opened, I've been here twice. Both times have been in the afternoon on the weekend. And both times were very busy. I like the concept and the design of the place is beautiful. I do think it gets a bit too crowded tho, which makes the experience less fun. For example, as we were playing, another party was right behind us waiting to have their turn and then another party right after them. We had just started playing too. I think the business model should be modified to have players a bit more spaced out to make it more enjoyable for everyone. With all that being said, I would def come back - especially if I had guests in town, but I would come during the week at a non-busy time so I don't feel rushed.

Hannah P.

Yelp
Very surprised at the number of negative reviews! Visited this afternoon and had a great experience. We played one round of golf and then had drinks at the bar. Though we had a reservation, upon checking in, we were assigned the "emerald" course and had to wait about 10-15 minutes. There were 4 people in our group, which was a good number. I would recommend groups no larger than 6 due to how short/small the "course" is. Course is 9 holes. Each very hole is unique and original. Drinks were good. We had beers, high noons and truly's - so hard to mess those up! One person ordered an aperol spritz which was on the stronger side. We did not order any food. Overall good experience and we will be back!

Yelp
Came here for a corporate outing with my team and we had a great time! The food was delicious and plentiful while the drink service was super smooth with a good amount of variety. I couldn't recommend the experience more! We came on a Tuesday afternoon and were one of maybe three other parties, making the experience pretty pleasant as the space wasn't too loud and we weren't rushed on the golf course. The package we got had unlimited food as well as beer and wine, leaving us plenty full and satisfied. The food was very delicious! There was a good variety and it was replenished as much as we wanted. I loved the salad personally as well as the tots, although I do wish the salad was presented differently as it felt super wasteful to have these disposable containers - that's the only con I saw with the whole experience. The mini golf experience was so much fun! The holes are each super unique and interesting plus the software they use is sleek and makes the entire game a lot more fun. The staff was super patient with explaining how each hole worked and answering questions, plus they were serving drinks the entire time as well - really great service! Overall, we had an amazing time at Puttshack and I'd highly recommend the venue for the experience. Thanks for an amazing time!

Yelp
Fun time, but not sure I'd go back because the cost feels steep for the amount of time the activity takes. It is cool that they have multiple courses because you can go back and do some different than before. I did enjoy the hijinks, for lack of a better term, in the courses. I had two drinks, one was the painkiller which came in the treasure chest and was....tasteless. honestly felt like there was nothing in my glass. Very confusing. The old fashioned was good though.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended as a date spot and I would say it was fun to check out if you're in the Seaport area during the colder months as it's a good indoor spot with food/ drinks availble. We just weren't aware that you have to book a reservation so when we walked in we were told to check online and thankfully there were times available during the time we were there. The course is very simple to follow and every hit you do with your golf ball is tracked which you can see right away on the screen. There are about 9 holes that are in very fun interactive settings and we never had any issues being stuck behind the group in front of us. It does move by quickly and I wish it was longer but paying for another round seemed too pricy.

Yelp
This place was great! Roughly a hour drive from where I live which was a tad further than expected but still went last Wednesday and my Husband and I had a ton of fun. Great pricing, awesome drinks. Our server, Lauren was great!!

Yelp
Ouch!!! The reviews for this place are brutal!!! Such a shame cuz I had a wonderful time. I went on a Friday afternoon with a reservation. We were running about 10 minutes late due to traffic but were still able to play. Whew!!! Love the concept of this place. Vibe is cool. It is kind of pricey and gimmicky, but we had a blast!!! We had drinks and food. Drinks were great. Food not so much. What really made this place was the service. The person explaining the putt-putt instructions was so great. So fun and friendly. The bartenders are equally great. Also very fun and friendly. This place has a ways to go, but for just opening ... I definitely recommend. I'm glad I went!!! Just know that it's on the pricier side and brand new, so there are some kinks that need to be worked out. I hope their food gets better. It's not good ... even for bar food. Sorryyyyy.

Yelp
We went with friends and had a GREAT time! I first thought the price was a bit much for such a shorter course, but it actually turned out to be reasonable - and took longer than expected (it was also very crowded). I do wish you could choose your course - if I go back, I don't want to play the same course (even though it was super fun). The drinks were yummy, the food was good. It is loud, but that was to be expected. I would say it's more for adults, and not kids, although there were plenty of kids there!

Yelp
This place is so fun and unique! There are a few different courses with 9 holes each. Almost everything is automated, so you pay for your group at a machine and then go get your ball from a dispensing machine. The holes follow your ball and track your points, so you can just enjoy the unique holes and challenges.

Yelp
Came here on a whim recently & I was a little weary because I've gotten mixed reviews about the location. But everything I heard was the opposite of what I experienced. The only thing that was confusing is what floor you're on & exactly where to collect your golf ball. There was a gentleman standing in front of the dispenser who asked if we had been there before. Since we haven't, he did make sure to give us a brief run down on how to play, and then it was smooth sailing from there. The drinks and the bartender on the first floor (tall Hispanic male) was extremely nice. The garlic fries were really good and crispy 8/10 The buffalo chicken dip was my least favorite dish, but it was not nasty. It was too watery for my taste 5/10 The Thai fried chicken was a little over cooked and had a strong lime taste to it 6/10 The magnificent meatballs were my favorite. They were seasoned very well, great size and moist. I do wish there was a little more sauce that came with them. 9/10 The boston tailpipes were really good and were surprisingly filled pretty well. They had good flavor but could've been a little crispier 9/10 The Korean bbq bao buns were VERY good. The bun was a great compliment to a very well seasoned pork. 10/10 The ultimate Margaritas were okay 7/10 I definitely will be back

Yelp
The idea is there but I would not return. Three identical courses in this place and two of us were done in less than 10 minutes for $32. Only 9 holes and all were done in a couple shots and the courses were all in about 5ft x 6ft spaces. Had to wait a long time for a spot too and people whose times were 1 hour before we had arrived were still being held for them. More disappointing than fun. They should at least let you play through a couple times for an hour or so.

Yelp
I reserved two courses for Saturday starting at 11:30. I was worried it was going to be too busy based on all the bad reviews. My boyfriend and I got to do the Sapphire and Emerald courses. We grabbed a drink right when we arrived from the bottom bar because we got there early and had to wait to see our names on the screen to know which course we were assigned. You can take your drinks to each hole because they have a designated tables to set down your drinks. You don't get to choose the courses but I asked the staff nicely if we could switch from the Ruby to the emerald and they had no problems helping to switch it. The golf ball didn't always register the correct amount of hits but it didn't deter from the experience. The first course of Sapphire had multiple parties ahead of us with 4+ people in their groups so we had to patiently wait after each hole but it wasn't a big amount of time and we still finished the first course in 30 minutes. There was only maybe two or three parties on the Emerald course so we didn't have to wait on any parties before each hole. I liked both courses equally and found each hole to be fun. After we played two courses we sat down to eat. We didn't care too much for the menu so we just got poutine. It was good except for when a bite was taken and a piece of plastic was found. Luckily no kids were eating it but it was a little concerning. The wait staff seemed nice but it did take awhile to get the waiter back to pay the bill. Overall the experience was good, but I wouldn't recommend the food.

Yelp
I can't speak for the food- but I wanted to leave a quick review mentioning the sensory bags! I was so happy to see that this business supports people with alternative sensory needs by providing headphones and fidget toys :) Also, all of the employees were very kind and helpful throughout my visit.

Yelp
I'll note that this review is for the golfing experience only yesterday because we had come from lunch and thus didn't order food/drinks. We had a reservation for 2 PM yesterday, and upon walking in, there were loads of people (of course, because it's Seaport on a Saturday). It wasn't clear where we should go, but I checked in at one of the kiosk screens and it told us to go to the Emerald *I think it was Emerald but may be mixing up my stones* course. There was no sign pointing to it, so I found a staff person and she pointed us upstairs. Once we got upstairs, we walked around to find the Emerald course and then waited in line for 20+ minutes to get to the golfing attendant. We weren't pressed for time or anything, but it was just somewhat unorganized because it seemed like people walked up at random, rather than going in the order that they showed on screen. During this time, a server came over to see if we wanted to order drinks, which was nice. We made it up to the screen and the attendant quickly explained how it works. Each ball has a chip in it that matches a person's name, so you use the same ball throughout to track your score. Pretty cool. The courses themselves are interesting and include a lot of gamification (like one course where you hit the ball and once it passes a certain point, the spinning wheel on screen stops and you get bonus points based on what it landed on). But it's definitely more of a hangout place where you want to stand around and talk to your partner or your friends. I'll reserve a fuller assessment for when I come back and have food & drinks. But for now, Puttshack is a fun place--you just need to allocate way more time than they say it will take, especially if you come on a weekend.

Yelp
Came here spontaneously with some coworkers and it was such a blast! There's 3 different courses you could play: emerald, sapphire, and ruby. We played sapphire. Each of the courses are 9 holes with various obstacles. The technology behind the game is brilliant! The ball is marked and tracks how many strokes you take and everything is digital. It's very easy to follow and it's super fun! Like any mini golf place, there is a small wait between each hole as you're waiting for the party in front of you to finish. At $18/game it's a nice and fun activity to do. I like that they're open late! Most nights until midnight and weekends 1am!

Yelp
We had so much fun here! Came to celebrate my brother's birthday and were pleasantly surprised by the nice looking bars, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, they even have tables to put your drinks on when you putt! The drinks were really good too! We had a bit of difficulty checking in but it was quickly remedied by someone working there. We made our reservations ahead of time, which I believe would be necessary considering how busy the place was! They have several different 10 hole courses, so it really does only take about 30 min. The balls electronically keep track of your strokes and are assigned to each individual. It is opposite of normal mini golf, the higher the score, the better. There are bonuses and very interesting putts! It was a bit loud after we finished when trying to hang out there afterward but I would love to go back!

Yelp
So so fun! Took my team for a team building and it was so fun, great cocktails (though pricey) and fun environment. They need to stay open later but everything else was fabulous.

Yelp
A new way to putt in Boston with club vibes. LOCATION: Street parking and garages all around. It's also a short walk from the silver line stop. SPACE: There are two floors of putting with 2 courses per floor. COURSES: We played in the green course with 9 holes at $18 per player. The technology was cool to start but one member of our party had an issue where the ball wasn't being recognized by the course and it took quite a while to get it fixed. Overall, the courses were well designed and very fun. But at $18 for only 9 holes, it was definitely pricey. Overall, it's worth a trip and very fun with friends!

Yelp
Had drinks and two rounds! Super fun! My golf ball stopped working and staff fixed it right away.
