"“Treat yo’ self” is the mantra at PVDonuts, and it’s the perfect excuse for indulging in one — or more — of the gourmet doughnut shop’s over-the-top creations. Co-owned by Lori Kettelle, a Johnson & Wales-trained baker, and Paul Kettelle, the shop offers a 25-item menu that changes every month. You’ll find jumbo-sized brioche, vegan, and flourless varieties, in nostalgic flavors including cosmic brownie, samoas, and Dunkaroos. Also look for seasonal specials, including a savory Friendsgiving doughnut topped with fried chicken." - Jenna Pelletier

PVDonuts Review – A Perfect Sunday Morning Treat! If you're a donut lover, PVDonuts in Rhode Island is an absolute must-visit! Their brioche-style donuts are next-level—soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The maple bacon donut was hands down my favorite, balancing sweet maple goodness with crispy, smoky bacon. And what’s a great donut without the perfect cup of coffee? Their brew was smooth and paired perfectly, making every bite even more satisfying. There’s nothing better than friends, donuts, and coffee on a Sunday morning, and PVDonuts delivered the perfect experience. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a flavor and check them out!

I've been wanting to check this place out after seeing it on social media; now I get the hype. They opened in 2016 and brought brioche style donuts to New England. The donuts are handmade fresh daily and they have a variety of flavors and unique combos to choose from. They have crullers, fritters, cake, filled brioche, old fashioned, and many more options. Every month they have different flavors and of course, different seasons comes with different offerings. They also have coffee from various vendors. The donuts are made by hand daily and with so many unique flavors to try. The brioche donut was huge, airy, and light; not too sweet which complements the various sweeter toppings. I had their maple bacon donut and that was so so so GOOD; the bacon was crispy/salty and the maple frosting was just the right amount of sweet and went well the airy brioche, I love the sweet and savory flavor. The service was great too, quick and friendly. There were seating inside and outside. The location is great on Wickenden Street with plenty of on-street parking; although, on weekends it may be tougher to find closer parking. I can't wait to go back and try out more of their donuts!

We used PVDonuts for our wedding dessert and everyone loved it! They were super easy to work with and they were able to deliver to Middletown, RI. Everything came out great and we especially loved the look of the donut hole towers. If you’re considering using PVDonuts for an event, I definitely recommend!

Wow. I’m not even a donut person and I could not resist ordering a donut after hearing people praise PV doughnut. It delivered. Delicious, amazing variety, Creative options! This place is about an hour from my house and totally worth the ride if you are a donut person. If you are not a donut person and you happen to be in Providence, check it out.

Fresh, gourmet (and good tasting - not just good looking) donuts in a bright interior! Highly recommend if in the area. Just a short walk (abt 1 mi) from downtown or Brown University.

The first time we came there was nothing here for us to try. Update 8/18/24 The second time we came we had lots of options. We tried the Honey cruller,French toast, Cinnamon sugar fritter, Coffee milk, Cereal milk, and Brown sugar pop tart. The fritter was just a pleasant experience, it was over cooked and really flavourless. The honey cruller was missing the proper texture (being light and airy). The cereal milk is great if you absolutely love fruity pebbles. The French toast has a cream filling which I would equate to sour cream that has gone bad. The coffee milk was a great pairing with their coffee. the only donut that I can actually recommend is the Brown sugar pop tart, it was the fluffiest cake donut I have ever had the taste was right and let me feel like I could just enjoy the donut.

We love going to PV Donuts pretty often and have tried many flavors. The Dunkaroo is our general favorite but the Glazed is also good. Some of the more elaborate donuts are very sweet but everything tastes good. All the donuts are huge as well!

I heard about PV Donuts from a friend, and decided to drive over an hour to Providence to try their donuts. I was blown away at the service, quality, and overall presentation of the shop itself, as well as the donuts. So many varieties! Fast forward to my wedding on 10/5/2024. I inquired about catering for our wedding because we aren't really "cake people," so we knew donuts would be a great choice. From the beginning, their responsiveness, kindness, and helpfulness were very clear. They care about the customer SO much, and want nothing more than to satisfy said customers! This photo is of a donut wall we rented, with mini-sized brioche donuts displayed. The wall and the donuts were a huge hit! I could not be happier with our decision to go with PV Donuts for our wedding. I highly recommend!!! Thank you, PV Donuts :)

Yelp
This was my first time visiting the new location. It's in a great spot and has a very welcoming atmosphere. As always, the donuts were fantastic. I had the Cookie Dough donut for the first time and it might be the best one I've ever had from PVDonuts. The coffee milk donut never disappoints either. My cold brew was made perfectly. I normally take it with Almond Milk but had to use Oat Milk instead and didn't notice the difference. Definitely check out the new location when you're in the area... or in need of a donut fix!

Yelp
I wanted to pick up a few sweet treats to surprise someone special and PVDonuts was the perfect choice. The donuts are all priced differently depending on their type, but in total, I paid ~$25 for 6 donuts. Twinkie-- this was the fan favorite! It's a brioche donut filled with a vanilla pastry cream, with the top kissed by vanilla icing and crushed vanilla cake. It's finished off with a swirl of buttercream. Everyone loved how pillowy it was and couldn't get enough of the vanilla cream. Coffee Milk-- this one seemed similar to the twinkie, but without the filling. It was a brioche donut, with a coffee glaze. Earl grey cruller--this was my personal favorite. Crullers hold a special place in my heart because of their ridges. More ridges = more texture for all of that glazed icing to cling to. Their earl grey was icing was very fragrant! We also picked up the Honey Cruller, the, Chocolate sprinkle and the Jelly stick!

Yelp
A new month means a new menu at PVDonuts. After looking at the menu, I knew I wanted to try the Lucky Charms Twist for $4.25 and Earl Gray Cruller for $3.65. I love Lucky Charms cereal and Earl Gray tea. I came back to the store on a Wednesday rainy morning. I quickly took a look at the display case, but I knew which items I wanted. The Lucky Charms Twist is a yeasted twist topped vanilla glaze and lucky charms cereal. The twist was a big portion and the dough was so soft. The lucky charms cereal on top added a some crunch to the twist, but I felt like the twist didn't really need it. I mentioned in my previous review that crullers are my all time favorite and the Earl Gray Cruller just took it to a whole other level. The Earl Gray Cruller is a culler topped with earl gray glaze. It was packed with earl gray flavor and this might be my all time favorite cruller.

Yelp
On my way to Boston I had to take a short detour to PV Donuts. I used to go years ago when I stayed in providence. This place is memorable. The store is huge with cute tables to sit at. The only problem here is that they have a huge selection of donuts making the choices difficult! Since I was only getting donuts for 2 I chose 4 donuts. The young lady behind the counter was so sweet. She was patient and explained the fillings to me. I chose milk chocolate peanut butter, lemon butter cake, coffee crumb cheese cake and vegan orange cranberry. The lemon was my favorite with the lemon filling. The coffee crumb cake was unique with the creamy cheesecake filling, the chocolate PB was rich but not too sweet. The least favorite was the vegan cranberry. I would have liked less cranberry filling it the orange flavoring was a nice offset. I may have to stop in again on my way home.

Matt S.

Yelp
The best place to get donuts around Providence. They always have an exciting new batch of donuts monthly. The donuts are big and airy. Such a perfect sweet to fill your craving. Feels wrong not to get two different flavors to try. My go to is the Oreo or coffee flavored. Very packed in the morning time.

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
Great experience at PVDonuts. Arrived at 2:30 when they closed at 3pm. They were apologetic that they didn't have a better selection before closing but we totally understood. We got a dozen donuts to share with our group and they were delicious. The Nutella Brioche was the favorite amongst our group. Definitely a 5 star experience. No espresso! Only drip and cold brew coffee. We'll be back!

Vivian A.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of incredible donuts!! Once you get to the front of the line you'll see so many different flavors to choose from, not only are they beautifully made but there's also massive. I got the carrot cake donut. Not only was moist, but the carrot cake flavor really came through. It was nice to see complementary water available and enough setting inside and outside.

Yelp
There are two camps of people: knead donut fans and pvdonut fans. I've always leaned toward Knead, but in 2021 when my then-boyfriend (now husband) came to visit RI for the first time, I bought PVDonuts for him and was surprised by how amazing they were. Maybe I was converting to a PVDonut fan?? But I have to say I'm very disappointed by our visit last weekend. My husband picked up a half dozen assorted donuts, and I couldn't eat more than one bite of any of them. They are SO deep fried, all I can taste is the oil. Granted, I always thought they tasted more fried than others (namely Knead), but I've never NOT finished a donut before. The flavors were just...kinda gross. :( I hope this isn't the new normal because of new ownership. I'm sure they're doing their best, but PVDonuts of yore was so much better.

Jacob C.

Yelp
I spend a lot of time thinking about food and seeking out new, exciting eating experiences but I have a special passion for donuts (see my profile picture). From Voodoo in Portland to Five Daughters in Nashville to Donut Vault in Chicago, I have had the joy of trying many incredible donuts over the years. So I am not exaggerating when I say PVD is easily the finest donut shop in New England and among the best in the country. They not only have a range of donut types (cake, raised, fritters, gluten-free, etc) but a wide selection of really fantastic and unique flavors that rotate on monthly cycle. Some of the many standouts that come to mind are cosmic brownie, strawberry milkshake, blueberry poptart and zebra cake. I literally make an hour drive down from Boston just to go to PVD at least every few months and cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Jillian S.

Yelp
Cute place in a great location - right on Wickenden St. near several vintage stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Also a prime location if you'd like to take a stroll by the river. PVDonuts has a very small selection of vegan donuts (two flavors at a time) which rotate every month. Last month they had this coconut Thai iced tea flavor, & this month... a raspberry orange muffin flavor (perfect to have with afternoon tea). Staff have been kind-hearted, bright, & welcoming every time I stop in. Sadly, the first time I tried to get a vegan donut they were sold out [by 11 am]-- I do hope they consider increasing their vegan donut selection!

Yelp
Donuts are solid here. We mainly traveled for the crullers and they did not disappoint. They offer online ordering directly from their site so you can place your order one day ahead to get the flavors you want. What really surprised us was how tasty the donut holes were. For the day we've visited, they had the dunkaroos available where they are sugar coated on the outside and the filling on the inside. It was a sugar high for sure. They do have some seating inside so you can enjoy donuts and good company, also have restrooms for customers. I had left feedback on their Square receipt where they did overcharge me by accident and I didn't notice until the next day but they responded and refunded me very quickly--so shout out to their service. There's street parking but the location seems to be pretty simple to find parking. Overall a great visit and some tasty donuts.

Caitlyn Z.

Yelp
I preordered a pickup. Easy to do. I forgot a donut so the day of I DoorDashed one donut for pickup. I love the flexibility of ordering ahead of time- you don't have to worry about them running out of donuts. Parking- stinks, like really stinks. It took me over ten minutes to find parking on the street after driving around the block and up the street. Service was great upon walking in- I was even greeted with smiles. Location is very bright and clean. I was in and out- my orders were sitting there waiting for me. They were boxed perfectly, they didn't roll around or anything for the ride home. Now onto the donuts- they were sooo good! The coffee milk is hands down my favorite. I also prefer the chocolate dunkaroos over the vanilla. Vanilla dunakroos you can only get on Thursdays. Chocolate was a special- and is a rarity.

Yelp
Perfect snack stop right off Benefit Street. Beautiful bright space with tons of tables and most importantly, a nice and clean restroom. The woman behind the counter was friendly and super helpful in assisting me narrowing down my choices. I opted for a coffee cake donut and chocolate cruller. Both were fluffy, delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee cake one had this amazing custard filling that I would've loved a giant cup full of. Stop by if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
PV Donuts is one of the best donut shops I have ever had the pleasure of trying! Their selection is huge and changes on a monthly basis, allowing for great variety and also savoring favorites while they last. The shop is large and has a bright atmosphere, but is located on the busy street of Wickenden. I recommend parking a few blocks away and walking into the shop. I ordered a coffee and half a dozen donuts. The coffee was delicious without any cream or sugar. The donuts also tasted wonderful. The staff had great recommendations.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Passing through, needed a coffee. Iced cold brew was ok. We had the peach cobbler and glazed, both were ok.

Leah S.

Yelp
This bakery takes great care in providing unique flavors and textures to all of their donuts, fritters and monkey bread. This isn't your typical donut shop, their flavors are well thought out and unique. For example, the dough for their traditional donuts is brioche, expect a buttery, less sweet body, a great vehicle for some of their toppings, which can be on the sweet side. I've seen complaints about service. They get extremely busy on weekends and people cram inside around the few tables and chairs available. It's possible to pre-order online so there are people running in to grab their pre-paid orders. Know that if you go without preordering, you will wait in line for a bit. If you find a table inside, it will be busy most weekend, noisy and a squeeze-this is what happens when food is popular (and great) The store is located in Fox Point, an old part of Providence. The area wasn't originally built for stores that attract large crowds, some from out of town. There is little parking so plan ahead, this is the nature of a quaint, old neighborhood. If you're coming by horse, you'll be fine. Seriously though, here's a quick breakdown of what they offer and what to expect: Donuts - Brioche = light and stretchy inside. Crullers - pâte à choux based batter = light and eggy. Fritters - traditional yeasted style dough instead of their brioche dough. The dough is rolled out - often with some type of ingredient rolled into the dough - chopped and combined. This gives them their "chunky" texture. Coffee Rolls - traditional yeasted style dough, the same as their fritters, layered with butter, more butter and cinnamon sugar. Old Fashioned - made from a rolled dough, leavened, not with yeast, but with baking powder or baking soda. The resulting texture is denser than a yeasted donut = crustier texture. Flourless - means made without wheat ingredients, instead, they use Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 Baking Flour. They are not a certified gluten-free baking facility so there's always a risk of cross-contamination, be advised. Cake - different than their old fashioned style, smaller, and more fluffy! Made from a batter (think cake batter) Vegan - vegan "brioche" donut is made the same way as their signature brioche donuts, only without the dairy. They incorporate coconut milk and apple sauce to replace eggs and milk, as well as coconut oil. Monkey bread - a baked "muffin" style pastry that they offer daily. It's made from the small pieces of brioche dough that can't be rolled back into donuts, a delicious way to minimize food waste. Different flavors daily. Check their website for the latest menu and definitely give them a try!

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting Providence for the day and decided to try this donut shop because of the great reviews from yelp. We first tried the sprinkle brioche donut and oh man, this was so good! Super moist, not dense, loved every bit of it. We decided to buy 2 more donuts to bring home since we weren't from the area. We bought another sprinkled brioche since we loved it so much and then wanted to try the chocolate brioche twist. We ate them after dinner and the sprinkled brioche was as delicious as it was from the first time. But omg the chocolate brioche twist was awful. Like it was made by a different donut shop. It was so dense and dry it was not edible. It honestly tasted like it was a day or two old. At that price, you should be getting the absolute fresher donut possible. You could not convince me that this was a fresh donut. $4.50 donut was thrown away thats how bad it was. The biggest reason for the 3 stars was the true lack of appreciation that we were spending our hard earned money at their shop. There was literally no one in line so we asked a few questions and the workers were very put out. We spent a total of $13 in their shop and they could care less. In this economy, I would much rather spend my money at a place that appreciates my business as well as provides yummy products for that kind of price.

Christine T.

Yelp
The flavor choices here are beyond anyone's dreams! I loved all the fun and unique combinations, some sweet + sweet, others sweet + salty. The donuts are so fluffy and the mix of toppings adds the perfect crunch. I think my favorite flavor has to be the honey cruller (I can't remember if this is the right name). It has easily beat out any of Dunkin' Donuts old French Crullers and it was my ideal level of sweetness for the perfect donut. Following behind that one was the Blueberry donut and the Maple Bacon donut. I really loved all the more unique donuts but some did end up being a little too sweet for my liking. They were still all very delicious to try! I would also suggest to order ahead. I've tried to get it in person before but the donuts sell out very quickly and I wasn't able to get any. The ordering process is very quick, easy and well worth!

Goretti M.

Yelp
The absolute best donuts i have ever had!! Absolutely loved the unique variety and the option to pre-order! Pickup was a breeze and staff are also super friendly!! The shop itself was also very well decorated! If you're ever in Providence this place is a must try! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Xiao Z.

Yelp
We have lived in PVD for more than a decade but has never been able to set foot in PVDonuts due to the ridiculous long lines every day. However, we came here on a weekday, just an hour before closing, and we finally got to experience what the fuss is about. The staff is incredibly lovely, the donuts are more akin to cakes than the traditional floating circles down a fryer conveyor belt. Just look at my daughter's focused eating face, this place is a hit!

Tianna G.

Yelp
Their donuts are delicious! Definitely check them out but be prepared to not score parking and you may need to walk a short distance. The new location is absolutely adorable on the inside I love how it came out! The workers are always friendly when we go. Tip: The donuts don't taste good after day two so definitely buy what you are going to eat that day! Maybe if you put them in the fridge it will help but I haven't tried that method.

Erin K.

Yelp
The long and short of it is that I didn't like PVDonuts when the first came to Wickenden. I found them to be dry, flavorless, and more focused on appearance than taste. That opinion has completely turned around. I've been lucky enough to have their donuts several times recently and they've been some of the most delicious baked goods I've had in ages. The flavors are spot on while keeping the sweetness in check. The textures are beautiful and varied. I really can't say enough good things about what they're putting out there.

Jenny T.

Yelp
PVDonuts has the best donuts in Providence! Bought a half-dozen for a friend's birthday and everyone had so much fun trying out all the flavors. Although the donuts are a little pricey, they are massive and there are so many unique flavors that are hard to find in a normal donuts shop. In particular, the coffee milk and maple bacon donuts were so good. The interior is a little small, but very clean and cute. There is a counter space for enjoying the donuts. On the weekends it can get very busy and the line wraps outside the door. Would definitely recommend ordering in advance or going on a weekday!

Amanda M.

Yelp
I don't live in Rhode Island but when I get the chance to visit Providence, you bet PVDonuts is on my route. Get there early if you want to have your pick. Pre orders are an option as well. With rotating monthly specials there is always something new and exciting to choose from. Best donuts around and huge too.

Rose Q.

Yelp
Always good donuts and cute colors! It is so nice to see some PVD donuts at a meeting, in the morning in the office, on a sunny afternoon, or just random crave some sugar.

Jessica O.

Yelp
These donuts are excellent texture wise and they have a wonderful flavor profile that's not overly sweet. I did a little bit of research before I came so I knew to expect a line (30 minutes to get in on Sunday) but it's really confusing which is the pre-order line and which is the line to get into a store.

Jason L.

Yelp
This has to be my favorite donut place in the entire northeast. The donuts have a great consistency and texture and the flavors are AMAZING! The inside is cozy and there isn't any dining inside, but you are not too far of a walk from India Point park and the Roger Williams park is nearby as well. You will usually see people eating their donuts outside or inside their cars around the area. They have a good variety between fruity and more savory flavors. My favorite is the dunkaroo and coffee milk. They have different type of donuts as well, but I have yet to try them. Will have to check out the others when I come back! I would suggest stopping by here earlier on in the morning if you plan on having some more options. I have come by past noon a few times and they had run out by then.

Andres D.

Yelp
Awesome donuts! They are extremely elaborate and sweet, but it's not just gimmicks. The base donuts are genuinely really high quality. The flavors they pull of are very cool. Highly recommend--a Providence institution!!

Ronin W.

Yelp
This place is NUTZ! Diabetic Heaven!!!! Very pleasant staff/ owner? Flavor was incredible and the texture of the donut was on point. The atmosphere was quaint and eccentric. I would return definitely!

Nicole D.

Yelp
These donuts are amazing, it's a really nice place the atmosphere is really modern, and the service was great.

Elisa F.

Yelp
Literally planned a day trip to Providence around our visit to PVDonuts! We've had this shop on our list forever. It absolutely lived up to the hype! We got 4 donuts: glazed, cereal milk, coffee oreo and pumpkin coffee cake. My favorite was pumpkin coffee cake - absolutely incredible. These were soft and fresh! They even stayed fresh the next day, which is a big win for us with donuts. On a Saturday afternoon, we didn't have to wait long and they still had a good amount left. Definitely need to plan a visit back ASAP to grab a whole dozen!

Caitlin T.

Yelp
They have a nice big new space on Wickenden Street that better accommodates sitting and relaxing with a donut snack. I like their coffee milk donut and honey crullers, but otherwise feel their donuts run too sweet for my taste. However, folks are friendly and great at coordinating the frenzy of AM donut pickup.

Kimberley L.

Yelp
I hate to say this about a place that has always been on my list to visit. . Visited PVDonuts Saturday @ 3:30. Sign in the door stated all donuts 50% off till close We were the only ones in there on this rainy day. The unhappy worker ignored us as she went about her business. Then charged us FULL price. Take the door sign down if you are not going to honor it! Not a good experience. Hopefully the donuts are not stale. ‍

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Excellent coffee. I had the cold brew. I thought it better than the donuts. Interesting selection on donuts. Expensive! $4 ea. I had the Pumpkin Churro and lemon. Very Fluffy texture, but lacking in the flavor department. Easy location right off 195. Cute neighborhood called Fox point.

Nicci A.

Yelp
9/10/2022 - Who thinks driving from Boston to Rhode Island just to try PV Donuts was worth it? NICCI DO! My daughter asked for Mommy/Daughter Day for us to go there. Finally after months we drove down. Delicious. I can't choose which was my favorite out of the 7 I bought. Next time I'll buy a dozen. We practically ate them all in the car. The rest of our family got scraps. Sorry Family, I'm not sorry Family. Would I drive, buy and eat there again? YEP!

Kyle R.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. I've posted a couple specialty donut reviews on TikTok and PVDonuts, hands down is the best.

Allison F.

Yelp
Pros: -Excellent variety not only of flavors but also types of donuts (brioche, old fashioned, cake, fritter, cruller) -Accommodating for the vegan and flourless crew In short, there is something tasty for everyone. Cons: -The fritter and the monkey bread were too dry for my liking. I took one bite, and that was enough.

Nick J.

Yelp
I'm generally not compelled to write reviews of desert places, for a few reasons. I'm not a desert person, generally, and my outlook on desert is usually that as long as it's sweet it's probably fine. We lived in NYC through a couple of desert crazes (rolled ice cream, anyone?)--and found most of it to be mediocre and not worth an hour long line. It was all just...sweet. PVDonuts is not just sweet. The tip-off is that these are brioche donuts and are somewhat similar to cronuts. They have a springy interior full of holes like a croissant, and they tear instead of crumble. It's one of my most favorite food textures, and it's not easy. It takes care and intentionality to make these versus just plopping out some fried dough and throwing some ol' bacon bits on it. There are lots of interesting combinations--and each one we had out of a dozen was very good. Standouts were the cereal milk, the espresso, and the smoked honey and sea salt. (That last one is actually sort of absurd.) Is this kind of "stunt food" like you see on the Food Network at 9pm on a Wednesday? Yeah, kinda. I mean, these are big honking donuts dipped in cereal or made with coffee milk; they appeal to your inner kid, and it makes people happy to see them on a kitchen counter when they wake up, bleary eyed. But they are also genuinely very good and made with a lot of care. You could honestly eat PVDonuts without any toppings at all, and they would be delicious. In fact, I think they should offer a "Stark Naked" donut or something. I'd buy a dozen and serve them with shrimp and grits or fill 'em with ham and Gruyère for breakfast. Also they're really patient when you come in and your eyes immediately glaze over looking at all the choices. And they brew Borealis coffee, one of the two best local roasteries IMHO. In my reviews I talk about food quality and hospitality as being the only two factors I really care about when eating out. I don't care about decor, or location, or value to the dollar (mostly). If the food is delicious and the people are kind, you're winning in my book. PVDonuts has both. Check it out.

Yelp
Mind blowing donuts. I've tried out some of the best donuts on the east coast recently and these are at the top of my list. I've been to places such as Dough and Donut Pub in NYC, and they just don't compare. I ordered the carrot cake, blueberry cheesecake, peanut butter banana, and s'mores. They were all absolutely phenomenal. The s'mores had a giant marshmallow on top, and was filled with what seemed to be an absurd amount of Nutella. The peanut butter banana didn't really have any banana component to it, but the peanut butter was rich and delicious. The blueberry cheesecake was exactly what it sounds like. Blueberry cream cheese filling, blueberry cream cheese icing, and cheesecake crust crumble. The donuts cost anywhere from $3-$4 each, but you truly get what you pay for. I'm surprised they don't cost more because of their freshness and high quality. Plus, they're absolutely huge! If they were $5 or $6 each I'd still buy them. What an experience! If you're passing through Providence, don't miss it! You'll regret it!

Yelp
The donuts were ok. They are nothing spectacular; they look cooler than they taste. The staff has always been bland and not very friendly or welcoming every time we have gone. So, it's not exactly a place I am eager to return to; there are plenty of better donut shops in the area with nicer people working there.

Yelp
Great doughnuts. Can get crowded on weekends. A great selection of seasonal and unusual varieties. Probably not so good for people on diets, but a great treat.

Yelp
Ok. So I love me a good donut. But I was sort of disappointed in these. Don't get me wrong, they're fancy and tasty, just not what I was looking for. They helpfully have a display of all the donuts with a little sign sticking out of them, so it's easier than just looking at a list. My issue was that most of the donuts were yeasted brioche whereas I much prefer cake donuts. And the one cake donut I did get was still not what I was hoping for. My only other complaint is that they were really expensive - much more than I was expecting. Overall a nice treat, but not what I was really hoping for.

Yelp
MOST BOMB.COM DONUTS ON THIS PLANET YOU NEED TO GO HERE BEFORE YOU DIE. as seen on food network and many prominent news outlets. i need to get back here soon because these are too good to live without!!! they have seasonal menus that change every month and they have combos like dunkaroos, brownie batter and many more delicious concoctions - try their brioche donuts and thank me later. these donuts are legit the "Best I Ever Had"

Yelp
We were fortunate enough to see that PVDonuts had a pop up with their food truck in Newport this past Sunday morning so it saved us the trip to Providence and we still got to enjoy some yummy donuts for breakfast!! I will note that the truck only had 4 different donuts to choose from with the limited menu onboard. Needless to say, had to try all four, listed in order of my favorites! Brown Butter Sea Salt OMG YUM! White Chocolate Oreo Dunkaroos Cereal Milk The Brown Butter Sea Salt took the win with White Chocolate Oreo coming in second!!! :)

Yelp
Such inventive - and incredibly delish - donuts! Their specialty menu changes every month, so I can see why people keep coming back! The absolute best thing we did was to pre-order our donuts online about a week ahead of time. When our selected time came, we bypassed the long order-on-site line and picked up our already-packaged box with all of the donuts we had selected. No waiting, no scrambling to choose alternatives because they ran out of what you wanted. I don't understand why more people weren't doing this! We sampled from their August "Back to School" menu: French Toast Crunch, Apple Old Fashioned, Cinnamon Sugar Poptart, Cookie Butter, Twix Cheesecake, and PB&J donut holes. My faves were the apple, pb&j, and the maple cream inside the french toast crunch. All of the donuts were Insta-worthy and tasty (although a sugar coma soon commenced after we dug in). Needless to say, we couldn't eat them all in one sitting, but even a few days later, they were enjoyable. See ya next month!
