"One of Tucson’s lesser-known treasures, PY Steakhouse is located at the southwestern edge of town at Casino Del Sol. While steak is in the name, the restaurant truly stands out with its sophisticated use of seasonal local ingredients with components such as their own beef garum and Whiskey Del Bac barrel-aged white balsamic." - Jackie Tran

4.5 Scott was amazing! Helped make us feel special for our 5th Anniversary! We were open to trying anything and let him help put together a dinner that suited us both. I need small portions so he recommended sharing dishes. What a great idea! Thank you for everything! We will be back!

Getting reservations on-line is way easier than over the phone. On a Wednesday, it was not busy. Prime rib was good, but could have been served hotter. Table of six and three of the six had prime rib. The holindase sauce for the asparagus was a little over the top.

Celebrated our 50th anniversary there. Service was absolutely phenomenal. Staff very attentive and helpful with suggestions for ordering. They were sensitive to my numerous food allergies and checked with me to make sure food was okay for my needs. The food was unbelievable! The mushrooms delicious. We had crab cakes for an appetizer that were a generous portion and the most delicious crab cakes I have ever had.The best dining experience I have had in a while in Tucson.

As an anniversary celebration, we couldn't have been more pleased. The service was unparalleled. Amanda, Katrina and Steven were the best. They were there when we needed them and they didn't hover. The food, starting with the appetizer....all the way through the dessert, was unbelievably delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

First of all the service was great! Victor and Angel made us feel good! The steaks were a “B”. The Calamari was good with a good presentation! The leafy vegetable side dish should be deleted from the menu! (Unacceptable presentation and did not pair with anything)The asparagus was okay! The whipped potatoes were good! The bone presentation was useless, unless you let us simmer in Augus and a dark gravy with onions to dip the meat in. The food was elevated to 4 stars because of the service! Oh yea, the bread was very good!

Most of the food was good. Calamity was disappointing. Rubbery, sparse and they put too much spice on it. Good prime rib, not amazing. Under cooked on one side, over cooked on the other, they tried to hide the overcooked side. I ordered medium, leaning more toward medium rare. They offer nice military discount, a free dessert for special occasion. Only real weak area was the server. The assistant was great for the most part. But an attentive restaurant will never let a guests glass go dry. The server kinda vanished. Not bad just little improvement, little better.

We have been to PY several times over the last year, this is by far one of the best steakhouses in AZ. I've been to several. We have never had a bad dish or meal from this restaurant. I will say the first time we went we weren't expecting this amazing food from a casino. The prices are not bad for what you receive and the servers have always been great. We brought friends with us also and we have tried several different dishes. The steaks are phenomenal, always cooked perfect and delicious. We like seasoning so if you're looking for a bland dish this isn't the place. I will say some of the basic sides could have more seasonings but most everything we have tried it was good. I had the beet risotto with scallops and it was great. I have also had a lobster tail every time I've been there, so good. Friends had the salmon and we also tried the lamb that was a special last year. Deserts are fantastic and the bread is a favorite. I always look forward to what they are serving for the amuse bouche also. The calamari appetizer is wonderful with shishito peppers and have really cute, tasty local tiny tomatoes. I will be going soon to try the prime rib, but I live in Chandler so I will have to plan the trip.

PY has a great bar with top shelf, signature drinks, but step inside the dining room for an outstanding dining experience. Fun, elegant, top notch service and consistently delicious food makes it one of my top 5 Tucson restaurants.
