Been to the Pyramid club a few dozen times in the past twelve plus years for various business, charity, and networking functions. As spaces go in Center City Philadelphia, it's not a bad spot. Views are awesome - unless it's a VERY cloudy but not cool looking weather day, and the staff is decent. Food for events is pricy but not bad. However, the decor is dated, things are a pit pricy (including drinks) (though not unreasonable given the downtown location), and it can either be super packed with multiple events going on, or seem like a barren wasteland. Honestly, this is the kind of place that harkens back to a time when real "business" was done over a meal, a drink, or a round of golf. It's kind of a soulless environment, and the "dining area" if you want to call it that, is not really sectioned off nice. I guess if you need to have meeting/office space as an entrepreneur, or you want to hold an event in the city and not pay an arm or a leg, it's an option. But definitely doesn't attract a young crowd lol. If a professional event is being hosted there, it's a good spot, don't get me wrong. Just not "amazing" (except the views)
Remember to bring photo ID with you at all times.
As for getting there, since it's in the middle of Center City Philadelphia, the best options are to pay for a garage or use public transportation, unless you're already walking in the area. I personally recommend the SpotHero App. It's free, charges a minimum amount per transaction, and if you're willing and able to walk 5-10 blocks in a heavy downtown area, you will have plenty of options to choose from, whether cost or proximity, or both, are important to you.
