They no longer have indoor dining, but their food, in my opinion, has improved over the last couple of years. It's very good. We are never disappointed. The price point is fair for all that you get. I can never finish it and usually can make 3 meals out of mine. They are fast, so don't expect it to take too long for the carry out order. This place is our go-to for Chinese on the North side of Fort Wayne, but it would be worth a drive from anywhere in Fort Wayne, imo.

Mary Runion

Google
The entrees were good. There was no green peppers in the PEPPER steak but the flavor was good. The Broccoli beef was great but the Mongolian Beef and General Tso chicken didn't have much sauce on it and the flavor was a bit bland. The egg rolls were good but not very hot. My biggest disappointment was the crab rangoon. I was so excited because I prefer the triangles to the flower shaped. The crab rangoon were cold and tough. I couldn't even finish the corner of the one I did eat. They come in orders of 6 so what is pictured is what was leftover. Over all, I was left disappointed and probably won't go back. Just chalked it up to trying someplace new that didn't pan out.

Kimberly Dull

Google
They're food is wonderful. I recommend cashew chicken, general tso's chicken, fried rice egg rolls, spring rolls, and crab rangoon

Jonathon Courtois

Google
Amazing they know me by name when I call they know my order and are super friendly my son has autism and when I take him in they are so nice to him also they even ask when on the phone do you want your beef well done and put my fried rice in a different container than it usually comes in because they know I eat on the way home amazing place food is great and always hot

Lauren

Google
Food was better than other places near by, but the rice was not quite cooked all of the way. Crunchy fried rice but awesome flavor and reasonably priced. 1st time here so I will definitely try again hoping that next time the rice will be cooked all of the way through!

Billy Highfill

Google
Not bad but not great. For the price I expect a little more. The crab ragoons were decent. One batch of 6 was a little dry. And the other was just right. The orange chicken was good, but the fried rice is where they really fell short. If I'm charged extra for fried rice, i expect it to be because of extra ingredients. In this case, it was a bit of soy sauce and salt. No onions, no peas, no carrots, no vegetables of any sort. The rice served as "fried" is unlike any other fried rice you get at another Chinese or Japanese restaurant in town, or anywhere in the world for that matter lol. The food Is solid, but for the price, I expect more.

Gregg Salser

Google
Very expensive for Chinese. Ordered small meal with crab ragoon, small hot sour soup $23.14 with tip. Not a great atmosphere. Food was good. Don't sell half orders of crab ragoon. Too much for one person. I prefer Panda Express.

John Weimer

Google
Excellent portions and great pricing. Have been eating here for years. Staff is quick and to the point. Still some of the best take out Chinese in town!

Yelp
Each time I come it's good. Lunch specials are a great price. Today I got the king pao chicken and braised not being spicy it was excellent. Soup was ok.

Yelp
Best takeout Chinese in Fort Wayne! Their service is fast. Not much room to sit down and a bit loud but for takeout it is a great place.

Yelp
Place use to be good. I had to take down my review from 2018 and update because it's not the same anymore. Lets start off with prices that break the billfold. I can go to any Chinese restaurant in town for these prices...I'm talking sit down in a pretty nice joint. This place was known for fast and out the door Chinese food. Prices kind of high for what you get here. Not overly friendly here either. If you get the younger boy he's pretty decent, but the owner wife or I believe daughter? A little on the rude side. The owner lady don't care I believe the husband does most the cooking, he seems ok because you don't come into contact with him really. He just cooks. Food skimpy on the goodies get you nice and full on a pile of rice. And you'll have to pay for the privilege. Save yourself the hassle and hit the Chinese buffet or something. Way better.

Yelp
Have been coming here for close to 20 years, it changed ownership and heard some rumors. Seems to be completely based on one review, because this place is almost exactly how I remember, fast service and awesome food. I highly recommend it over almost any other Chinese place in Fort Wayne for top notch takeout. Special shoutout to their Wonton soup and pot stickers, pretty killer lo Mein too. Would absolutely put their takeout menu on the fridge, will be ordering again for New Years!

Ann S.

Yelp
Prices are very reasonable. Very tasty food. Portions are not very large but they complement the pricing. Service is very fast

Yelp
Q House has been where I would go to get Chinese take out because their isn't another place on the north side of Fort Wayne. At one time they really were good...minus the poor customer phone/counter service. Now they are just "okay" to worse on occasions. Overtime I've noticed that every thing started to taste the same. I would try different dishes that had radically different ingredients to test my theory. For the most part...they still taste the same. At the same time...and I know that everyone's prices have gone up...but theirs have gone way up for a poorer quality product. Tonight was about the last time I will frequent here. I picked up my order and wondered why the bag smelled like it was burning. It was my fried dumplings. They were burnt and dark in color. The dumplings had a small piece of meat that was really tough and not tasty. The soy sauce helped kill the burn taste. But the dumplings were basically a burnt shell. I also ordered the sesame chicken. The sauce was as usual. This is at least the second time when I couldn't find a sesame seed on my chicken. The chicken pieces were plentiful. Most were overly breaded and fried to a point they were tough/hard and difficult to cut. The rice was excellent! So...I think this is my last review of the Q House. I look forward to giving you a review for another Chinese carry out place on the north side.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience and have been getting food here for years. They are very fast and the food only takes like 10 minutes to come out. I always get carry out never have eaten inside but the food is always great and never changes or is bad! 10/10 Would recommend

Yelp
I have ordered take out several times and consistently good food and a complete order. Just wish the barriers at the counter would come don and eat in dining space restored.

Yelp
Food was sub par, employees were sitting around on their phones. I'll stick with my go to

Yelp
Favorite Chinese takeout!! Called in order at 6pm on a Friday and it was ready in 10 min. We received so much food for only $24 and it was quality! We ordered general tsos and orange chicken combos with fried rice, egg rolls and crab Rangoon.
google avatar

T B.

Yelp
Don't go here! The staff is rude and the food sub par. Their quality and customer service has greatly declined.

Yelp
My family and I have enjoyed QHouse for years. They have occasionally messed up my order but were great at annotating what I was owed on my next visit. however, last night was the final straw. Not only was my order incorrect, but the food I did receive was terrible. It was burned and not edible. When I called to advise them of this, the individual on the phone who identified himself as the owner basically called me a liar saying her remembers looking at the food and it was not burned nor messed up; insisting I was given what I had ordered. when I told him I would no longer do business at his establishment his response was "fine". I guess they are doing so well they don't need my business but be warned.

Dawn O.

Yelp
It had been a while since we had gotten takeout here, and after reading the most recent reviews we almost didn't order. Glad we ordered! Hot and sour soup was spicy as usual (I did need to warn at home), vegetable mei fun was also good as usual, and the Szechuan shrimp was tasty with large shrimp. Portions had not changed and staff were polite. Not sure why the recent reviews were not good.
google avatar

Concerned C.

Yelp
Would highly recommend this place as it has good food and I really enjoy it but what I don't enjoy is the customer service is pretty fair and the communication sometimes it's troublesome

Don S.

Yelp
Wife and I have been eating here for quite some time before COVID hit. Prices were good and the food was B+,A-. After COVID, prices went up but we're still reasonable. It has been a few months that we've been there until yesterday we stopped in and got the lunch specials. My wife normally gets shrimp or beef with mixed vegetables. She chooses beef and add shrimp and pay the extra charge for shrimp. I tell the new girl behind the counter what she wanted and she asked me how many shrimp I want added. I told ta portion like I have in the past. She tells me they're jumbo shrimp and it'll cost me $2 a piece to add so I told her make it shrimp with mixed vegetables add beef. We took it home to eat and instead of wide rectangular containers they put fried rice and your entee in what seemed like a 6 inch circle container. 80% of the bowl was filled with fried rice and the rest the entee. You get a choice of an egg roll or egg drop soup and we both chose egg rolls. The egg rolls we used to get were the normal sized ones filled with vegetables and tasted they were made there. Now, they give you this little, tiny thing with very little filling and about a fourth of the size we got before. As expensive as the shrimp were, wife said they were chewy and tasted old. So, they raised their prices, give you less overall food and give you majority rice and give you a skimp egg roll and not fresh food. We decided we're not going back again

Yelp
REALLY happy we finally tried this place after the reviews mentioning rude service put me off for a long time! We've ordered carry out three times and each time the order taker and counter staff couldn't have been friendlier. The food is very good and the portions are decent. I'm not crazy about their hot and sour soup, but I'm picky. Their Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, and Hunan chicken were very much enjoyed. Tried a lo mein dish that I wasn't super crazy about because the noodles seemed really fat. I haven't had lo mein in a long time, so maybe it's me. All their food appears very fresh and attractively packed up for you. Vegetables were nice and crisp and plentiful and the sauces were tasty. I'm happy we gave them a shot because our other regular place is okaaaaayyy but this is much better. And closer, yay! I highly recommend giving it a shot and not being hesitant because of the service comments.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get take-out Chinese food in Fort Wayne and it's the best deal! My fiancé and I always order the crab rangoons to start because they're just so tasty. I always get the combination sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and my fiancé typically gets the combination general tso chicken with pork fried rice. Every combination meal comes with rice and an egg roll. That alone would be more than enough to fill you up and have left overs. We have always had their vegetable lo mein which was okay. We prefer the beef lo mein. Overall, if you're looking for QUICK, reasonably priced and yummy Chinese food-- go to Q House!

Yelp
Disappointing. For God's sake change the grease in your deep fryer. Also got Mongolian Beef. Didn't look like any I have had anywhere else. Really wish someone in Ft Wayne could get it right!

Yelp
Worst Chinese food in Fort Wayne. Threw away 3 dinners No flavor, cold and not cooked well

Yelp
I recently moved in this area and was wanting some Chinese food kinda late . So Q house being the nearest one I thought that was so perfect and convenient for me . I walked in and wasn't really greeted the best . Okay maybe she's not having the greatest night so be it . Then I asked if I could maybe substitute rice for vegetables ... she's said no . But in a very repetitive rude way . Then I got my food ... wasn't handed to me just set on the counter and walked away ‍.Then when I went to get my sauces I look over everybody in the kitchen was starring at me . . . I never felt so uncomfortable in my life . First and last time .

Yelp
This place is not good. I don't know why people would recommend this place because it's absolutely bland. I've given this place two chances to make good food and it was lackluster both times. The first time I had the General Tso's chicken, a "chef specialty", and it wasn't right. I don't know what they were doing, but that was not a good sauce they put it in. It was a thin sauce, which I tend to enjoy, but I didn't enjoy the taste. Their crab Rangoon didn't impress me. My wife liked them but I didn't. The egg rolls were bad because they had no flavor whatsoever. My kids love egg rolls and neither of them finished theirs. The second time I went I got Orange Chicken, another "chef specialty". It was much better than the General Tso's chicken and I actually didn't hate it. I also purchased chicken on a stick and that was horrible. It was literally just chicken with a wood shank. There was no teriyaki, no seasonings, just greasy dark meat chicken for, like $6...so don't ever get that. We got crab Rangoon again and my original opinion stands. The egg drop soup was the same you would find anywhere else. The food is 2.5 stars but the service knocks it down to a 2. I was told my food would be East at 5:30 and I get there around 5:20 and the cashier is picking up TWO phones at a time. Putting one on hold then taking the others order then back and forth, back and forth. Obviously they're slammed, but they have a table right next to her with 6 bags placed on it that are full of food and 5 people, including me, in the lobby waiting. I didn't leave until 5:45 and my order was in a bag that was siting there since before I walked in. The food was still warm by the time I got home, but I didn't understand why they kept taking orders while there are multiple filled orders and people waiting to receive them. No one should recommend this place.

Austin T.

Yelp
This is my go-to "cheap" chinese place. The food is very good, the value is fantastic, and I am highly impressed with their approach to handling covid-19 The are only doing carry out. They are limiting people entering the establishment at one time, and they have sealed off the kitchen and staff from the customers! Bravo

Back in Time P.

Yelp
Very quick service, takes less time to walk in and order a very good meal than it does sitting in a McDonald's drive thru line for terrible food. My only complaint is I think they should be charging more than they do, I feel like I'm robbing them every time I order.

Toni B.

Yelp
When Q House opened, it was run by a lovely young couple with a small boy who would sit at a table and play while his parents worked. The food was excellent as was the service. No more. They appear to be gone. Yesterday evening my husband and I ordered dinner to bring home. Among my favorite dishes through the years have been their curry chicken and curry shrimp which I have enjoyed many times. The "curry shrimp" we ordered last night was devoid of sauce, seasoning and even salt. It was mostly sauteed onions and shrimp. We tried to make the best of it, seasoning it ourselves but could not bring ourselves to continue eating it. I called the restaurant. Mistakes happen, right? The person I spoke to said that they made these dishes with a sauce and would not accept that ours had been left. out. When I attempted to tell her we were longtime customers and I knew what the dish was supposed to taste like, she looked up the cell number we had used to place the order and told me they had no record of our ever having placed orders there (we have used several different numbers over the years). Finally, she told me to bring the food back today and they would remake it or refund my money. When I entered the restaurant with their food bag, the person at the window immediately walked away and brought another woman back. She apparent knew the details and first informed me that we had called an hour and a half after picking up the order and the sauce must have "settled" to the bottom. I showed her the food and that there was no sauce. Then she insisted that that is the way they always make this dish. I gave her details of what the restaurant was like pre-Covid, that I had eaten this dish many times and I knew it wasn't supposed to be like what we had received. She then told me she had never seen me there before (I don't think I've ever seen her, either) and that I was lying. Since we had eaten some of the dish, she said the best she could do was make a smaller portion. As that is now "the way they always make it", I requested a partial refund. She agreed. We will not be back. A restaurant that used to have great food and service no longer has either. By the way, our last few trips in, we have noticed that it is no longer busy - perhaps this is why. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g37114-d4645467-r574064588-Q_House-Fort_Wayne_Indiana.html#

Yelp
I am not quite sure why folks keep referring to this place as a hole in the wall. It is located in a strip mall, a decent strip mall with Verizon, Penn Station, Great Clips, etc. It's fine for take out which most folks do. They do offer a few tables for people who want to eat in. They cook it right in front of you since there is no wall separating the register counter and cooking/prep area. They cook fast, prep fast, to get you on your way. The food tastes fine and is reasonably priced for both lunch and dinner. I have tried and liked the following: crab rangoon, fried dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, happy family, and house lo mein. For a quick take out option, definitely a place to try.

Richard N.

Yelp
Average quality of fast food Chinese food. My pork fried rice was a bit spicy for my taste. The General' chicken was OK. The egg rolls were good. The sweet and sour chicken was average. It seemed to do a good take out trade. We were the only eat in customers.

Karen L.

Yelp
Wonderful take out food! The food is really good and fresh. The service is very fast and we actually drive 30 minutes to pick up and when we get home it's still hot. Definitely worth the trip!

R. C.

Yelp
Okay. I rarely write reviews this low, but... This review is based on a single carry-out experience in May 2018. After reading the glowing reviews, I was really hopeful! Unfortunately, we must have visited on a bad day. We called in the order around 4:30, to pick up at 5pm, and when I arrived the bag of food was ready... but that was the only thing they got right. About 5 minutes later (literally just a few blocks down the road) we unpacked the food. And yikes. Issue #1: the Eggrolls were absolutely dripping with oil. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough when they were dropped? It was like they'd absorbed lots of warm oil instead of getting fried. Both types we ordered were the same: so oily and drippy that we stopped eating after two bites. My partner loves eggrolls, and I had never seen him NOT finish one before. Issue #2: there was also something seriously wrong with the Crab Rangoon. The filling was *firm and crumbly* instead of creamy, and had an off-putting yellow tinge. My guess is maybe they were fried way before pick-up, long enough to get cool and dense and stale? Again, we didn't finish them. Issue #3: the Hot and Sour soup was weirdly sweet and lukewarm. Side note, nobody bothered to tell us we'd need to grab our own spoons. It seems like if you order soups to-go, those might get added to your bag automatically? Either someone forgot, or you're expected to do it yourself. Regardless, having to go find spoons meant the soup was even cooler when we actually ate it. Worse, one soup container had tons of floating bits (were they mushrooms? bits of tofu?) at the top, and the other container had none: just long fibrous veggie strips in broth with none of the floating stuff. Totally inconsistent. Not hot, not really sour, and not very pleasant. The entrees were okay. By that point we were so disappointed that only stellar main dishes would have saved the day, and these seemed pretty average. We might give Q House a second chance if we're ever bringing take-out to friends at Parkview again... or we might suggest they stick to hospital food instead.

Cheyane F.

Yelp
I love the Q House!! It's one of the top chinese restaurants in Fort Wayne, in my opinion. I think their prices are super reasonable and you get a lot for the price. Their crab rangoon is to die for!

Yelp
We always order the shrimp dishes when we eat here. The hunan shrimp, garlic shrimp, shrimp with vegetables, and they are always top notch. The shrimps are HUGE, the veggies are always fresh and cooked just right, and the sauce is light and always spot on. The crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, and egg rolls are also very good. Never too greasy or watery, but just really good. Speaking of the steamed dumplings - the dipping sauce is so good you could almost drink it straight out of the cup. So for you first time visitors you can always count on really good food from this place. In fact, it is just as good as most of the sit down Chinese places in town, and certainly much better than all of the buffets. At times the place can be very busy, but we have never waited more than 10 minutes or so to get our food, and they have always had the food ready when we arrive for pickup. Another little quirk is that the actual main entree carryout containers are of very high quality and can be washed at home and reused similar to Tupperware or Gladware that you would buy at the store. Just another little bonus! Oh but the female owner. As has been pointed out in other reviews - she goes out of her way to make sure she is not going to please you no matter what. I think in other reviews I have used the term "surly" to describe waitstaff and boy does the term fit her. The definition of the word is bad-tempered, unfriendly, and overall unpleasant. It truly fits here. Her lack of customer service skills is unbelievable, but I'm to the point now where I just laugh about it and realize that it is part of the character of the place. Ignore it and enjoy the great food at a great price because Q House has some of the best Chinese food in Fort Wayne.

Yelp
SPOILER ALERT!!! If you don't want to know about very average to below average take-out Chinese featuring "chicken" that didn't really resemble chicken other than in color, DO NOT read any further. Okay, for those of you who do want to know more about this place, here's my review: I found Q House using the trusty Yelp app on my phone. I was craving Chinese food, but I didn't have a lot of time to drive far from my hotel (the Hampton Inn on Dupont Road) and didn't have enough time to sit down at the best asian spot in town - Qui's. So, I hunted down take out. The other reviews were decent to good, so I gave it a shot. Big mistake. I ordered a cup of hot and sour soup and the hunan chicken. Hunan chicken is kind of my go to Chinese dish when I'm not familiar with a restaurant. It's got plenty of vegetables and in my experience it serves as a pretty good barometer for how good the restaurant is generally. Same thing with hot and sour soup - it can tell you a lot about the place. The hot and sour soup .... In a word, GENERIC. Seriously, there has GOT to be some sort of huge asian food wholesaler who sells this stuff in bulk to take-out Chinese restaurants nationally. I think I've probably had the identical hot and sour soup at ten or more low price Chinese places around the country. This isn't a horrible thing - the stuff tastes fine I guess. But there's certainly nothing about it that is "from scratch" or "made today". My best guess is that they poured the gelatinous blob out of a box and into a big pot and heated it up this morning ... assuming it wasn't left over from yesterday. The hunan chicken ... Horrible. On the first bite, I could tell something wasn't right about the "chicken". It didn't have the texture of actual meat. If anything, it was fat. I swear I'm not kidding about this. The stuff had this very spongy quality to it. I don't know what it was, but I can tell you it was not actual chicken meat. I wound up pushing all of the meat-like substance to the side and just eating the vegetables. To the restaurant's credit, the veggies were pretty good. They included carrots, pea pods, broccoli, mushrooms, green bell pepper, water chestnuts and baby corn. All of the veggies were crispy and crunchy, like they'd been tossed into the wok and cooked right then. So - kudos on your veggies, Q House. Last note on the hunan chicken - the sauce is incredibly bland. It just didn't have any real flavor to it at all. Steamed rice. It tasted like steamed white rice, which, given everything else, I was more than happy about. So --- Bottom line? If you're absolutely desperate for some take-out Chinese and just can't find another place, close your eyes and eat some Q House. If you have any other options, head elsewhere.

Yelp
Located in a strip mall adjacent to a Verizon store at one end and a "Penn Station" sandwich store at the other, this is a typical Chinese take-out restaurant. They do have several tables to stay and eat, but most people get take-out. Remember, I grew up in San Francisco with its wonderful, good, cheap, Chinese food. This place rates a 6 out of 10 in my mind for good Chinese food here in the Midwest. Their 'claim to fame' is: NO MSG!!! There seems to be a re-naming of certain Chinese dishes here in the Midwest. The "chow mein" that I grew up with are medium thickness noodles that had been boiled, then pan-fried slightly crispy, then stir-fried with veggies & meat or shrimp and some sauce. My all time fav is "Tomato Beef Chow Mein", but nobody in the Midwest even knows what I'm asking for. The "roast pork" here is more like what I know as "cha-siew", barbecued pork. The roast pork I grew up with is from an actual whole roast pig with its crispy, fatty skin and nice meat underneath. The "duck sauce", available in little packets is actually sweet & sour sauce. (*Watch out, some duck sauce has High Fructose Corn Syrup, HFCS in it!) I have tried their "House Lo-mein". It's the closest thing I've had to an "everything" chow mein, with 'roast pork', shrimp, beef, and chicken, as well as green onions, celery, carrots, and Chinese cabbage ("bok choi"). Their "Mei-fun" thin rice noodle dishes (with shrimp, beef, pork, chicken, or vegetables only) are also very good. Their Egg Rolls have the usual shredded up bok choi, celery, green onions and (maybe?) chicken. The "General Tso's Chicken" combo plate ("C9" on the menu) is spicy & comes with fried or white rice and an egg roll. I generally like curried meat, but the "Curried Chicken" (#79 or C27 on the menu) is mostly veggies (celery, bok choi, green onions, carrots), and VERY little chicken. Skip this dish.

Yelp
Decently priced, and fast service. The seating inside the restaurant is limited it's more of a takeout Chinese restaurant. The soups are very good here. Hot and Sour, Egg Drop, and Wonton. The Hot and Sour I personally think is one of the best around for takeout. The fried rice is always very good here too, portions are very generous also, I always have leftovers for another meal.

Yelp
Great place to pickup some lunch. The food is fresh and tasty. The lunch specials are more than enough to fill you up and are a great deal. This is my favorite Chinese takeout.

Tyler M.

Yelp
Don't really know much about this place walked in about to order there Kung pao and I see the butcher or who ever chops the meat drop the meat on the floor then puts it back on chopping block will never order here again!!

Michael W.

Yelp
Our newfound favorite take out Chinese! We really love the Sesame Chicken and the General Taos chicken! The eggs rolls are pretty good too; and I normally don't like egg rolls. My only complaint is that they are closed on mondays.

Sarena W.

Yelp
The staff was abrupt and blunt - I didn't feel appreciated. Maybe their main goal was quick service, which did happen. I ordered a dish listed as "spicy" but it didn't have a kick (disappointing). I received quick take-out, but nothing special.

Casey M.

Yelp
Look, I have been ordering from Q house for 4 years. Try the beef with broccoli and you will love it! The shrimp with vegetables is awesome. Yes, there was an attitude with the wife of the owner but I think that this was addressed as I have not seen her there lately. We really like this place! 4/26/2018 - We still love this place and recommend it. It's fresh and healthy if you stay away from the fried items on the menu.

Yelp
Not such a hole in the wall as I was expecting after reading previous reviews, I've seen much worse and this place was appeared clean and food came out quick. When I walked in the cooks were eating at one of the tables in front which was reassuring, but looking closer it was Pizza Hut. Lol. Food was okay, not the best ever but doable. I'd order here again.

Yelp
Employees don't speak English very well which immediately leads me to believe they will have good food. For $5 at lunch, you get decent sized potion, white or fried rice, and soup or egg roll. All above par in regards to taste.

Yelp
This is one of the best takeout Chinese places in Fort Wayne! I always love the food and it's always very quick service. Don't plan on coming here if you're expecting great customer service however the couple that runs the place are often very rude on the phone and very blunt when you come to get your food. But then again, I don't come here for good customer service...I come for the food.

Yelp
Ordered take out. The person on the phone was very rude when I had questions about some dishes. I wish I could say the person over the phone was saltier than my sesame chicken and egg rolls. I felt embalmed after eating this. If I were to die that day the mortician wouldn't have had to do anything but man scape me.

Yelp
This location is a good place for quick, run of the mill Chinese Food. It's pretty much a take out place, but they do have a few tables if you choose to eat in. Entrée portions are pretty generous in my opinion. Fried rice is good and the egg rolls are nice and crispy outside and piping hot inside. Takeout packaging is adequate to keep your food hot for a 10 min drive home). When calling in your order we have found it is helpful to give them your order my item name off their menu or item number (TIP: pick up a take out menu to go home with you). I have had mixed experiences with service here. Sometimes very peasant, other times just business...no chit chat, here's the food, goodbye! I have had better Chinese food in and around Fort Wayne, but quality here is consistent and it's close to home for quick takeout Chinese!

Yelp
We had this for dinner over the weekend and very much enjoyed it. The food was ready when the man who took my order said it would be which is a plus for me with Chinese food take out. We had Mongolian beef which my husband raved about and the general tso's chicken. The general tsos had very good flavor and wasn't overly dry, though could have used a little more kick to it in my opinion. I figure I will just order it extra spicy next time. My six year old enjoyed it along with the crab rangoon, which were delicious. We would recommend and look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

Yelp
Q house is the best take out Chinese food in the city. The service is prompt but not always the friendliest. I usually walk in there like one would going into the Soup Nazi's place. But the food is good. They have bottles of water and pop, not a fountain. I get the General's Tso chicken often, but I get it extra extra spicy (I like spicy food). The lunch specials are VERY generous. The egg rolls and steamed dumplings are great! The fried rice is OK, not the best but not bad. The pictures over the counter can be misleading. They're just the typical carry out Chinese place pictures. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick Chinese restaurant.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was very busy but the line moved quick and I didn't have to wait long. I didn't order anything exciting, Crab Rangoon, General Tso's Chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. It was good, I've had worse and I've had better. Can't beat the price, my total was $9. Will probably come back.
