"After opening its small pub Q20 at Kirkland Urban in 2020 with 16 beer taps, it looks like supermarket chain QFC is now planning one for its U Village location. The company recently applied for a liquor license for the store under the same name (as first reported by Capitol Hill Seattle), although it’s unclear on when the timeline for opening would be." - Gabe Guarente

They only serve wine, tap beers and cans of beer, wine and seltzers but NOT FOOD. They have a lot of Non alcoholic options. It’s soooo CHEAP, it’s a hidden gem! Every single item goes on happy hour and they all get 1 dollar off from 3 pm to 6 pm. On Sundays, it’s happy hour prices ALL DAY!! $5 dollar beers for 20 oz, can’t beat that price anywhere else! I’d highly recommend this place!!!

Cheap drinks, quick access to tutta bella and the grocery store. Always busy and a fun time!

This bar area takes up the southwest corner of the QFC. They had 15 beers on tap at the time I went. $5 for a 20oz pour. They have wine as well but I didn’t really look closely to what they have. 3 TVs and a mix of high top and regular tables. Seems fine to bring in food from QFC or a neighboring restaurant. They will validate parking if you park in the attached garage. Try to bring a little cash. When I paid with card it didn’t offer me the chance to tip.

Mikaela and the whole bar in a grocery store situation makes this a must visit. During warm weather they open the massive doors for fresh air and outdoor seating. Hungry? Grab a snack from the aisles and they’ll ring you up. Did I mention their drinks are far more reasonable than nearby establishments? Also, they carry 4Good Hard Seltzer from the PNW’s own Andrew Januik. Win win win win.

This place is unmatched! Hidden gem is an understatement! Even if you live an hour a way, it’s worth the drive!

Mikaila, the bar manager, was fantastic! She was very friendly, knowledgeable about all of the wines and beverage options, and offered very fast service! It’s also awesome to be able to bring in food from the QFC deli and the drink prices can’t be beat!

My go-to place for a "pub" experience. Great value and atmosphere, with gentle patrons.

I know a friend who lives in Boise said there is a pretty nice bar in the Albertson's out there (where they started), but not many in Washington that I know of. This one is fairly large, inside the QFC, but also has a really nice sized pation and the windows open up to the outside in the summer. Usually a pretty decent tap list and price that can't be beat. The bar manager is awesome and the rest of the staff very nice as well. Worth a stop, shopping or not!

Yelp
This is our frequently visited place. Easy access, plenty of parking, great selections of rotating beers. Several other venues at the same plaza to choose from. Friendly staffs!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem for beer and wine near the heart of Kirkland. They serve their beer in 20 ounce mugs for $5 each; $4 on Sundays. The fact that they have an extensive beer and wine selection that frequently rotates makes this an even better deal. During warm days there's a large window that opens to a patio and water fountain right outside. Food options are also plentiful since this is located in a grocery store (QFC). You can bring any food you buy in the store to drink in the bar area, including made-to-order pizza, sandwiches, sushi, chips and many others. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. Shake shack is right next door and I discovered that you can skip the line by using their app. This means you can be relaxing at the bar with a cold one while watching everyone else waiting in line to order. They'll text you when you're order is ready for a quick pick up. So easy! Parking is validated for four hours, it's kid-friendly, and you can even get your grocery shopping done before or after. Just please don't tell anyone since it's one of the best kept secrets in Kirkland.

Yelp
Relaxed atmosphere. Lots of locals hang out here. If you are a regular, you will most likely see someone you know enjoying a glass of wine. The bar manager Mikalah and her team, are very welcoming and can work through large crowds making sure everyone has a full glass. Prices are very, very, very reasonable. You can also eat food and snacks sold in QFC while you enjoy your wine or beer. Electronic tipping is not possible. So if you use your debit or credit card, just keep in mind that you are not able to add a tip to your bill. Bring cash to tip these hard-working ladies!

Yelp
The prices are really why you want to come here and maybe the convenience as you can get your groceries as you leave. The service is laughable. You have to constantly ask them for a refill or another beer, as they'll walk by your empty glass over and over again without a clue, often times on their cell phones. Cashiers posing as bartenders, but failing at it, is how I'd describe it. The only people who actually "bird-dogged" the bar(s) and customers were Randy and Jameson but they're no longer there, unfortunately. There's one who will gossip about customers to other customers constantly and she shouldn't be forward facing any customers. Bring Randy back!

Yelp
Sure its in a grocery store, but they have a nice seating area and an outdoor patio. Decent selection of beer which you can always check online using the Untappd online menu. The best thing about q20 is that you can get any of the beers with a full 20oz pour for $5 or $4 during the daily happy hour. This deal blows every other bar in Kirkland out of the water. Grab a deli pizza and you are set.

Yelp
Friendly staff, and crazy cheap pints of local craft beer! Lots of windows, and a stunning westward view.

Yelp
Very friendly staff. Best deal in the EASTSIDE. Imperial pints and great selection of beers and wines.

Yelp
For someone like myself who does my grocery shopping at night for some "me-time," the ability to sit in an airy, open setting to have a glass of wine without feeling like I'm a loner at a bar full of socializing and as a precursor to being productive is amazing! Wine is pleasantly surprisingly inexpensive at $5-$8 a glass and looks like the beer selection on tap was quite comprehensive. I love that they incorporate outdoor sidewalk seating and outdoor bar seating (when gate is open) to give it a more community/casual feel. I can say it is also a positive addition overall to the Kirkland downtown area especially when most restaurants stop serving by 10 (Q20 is open 11a-11p daily) although I personally have issues with the massive scale of the Kirkland Urban development.

Yelp
Came in to grocery shop and ended up at the bar. They have a great selection on tap and an enjoyable friendly staff. You can also order from tutta Bella from the bar, $10 pizzas
