When I pulled up in my car to Qahwah Chapati knew I was with friends, friendly faces inside and out. Not only was the staff kind but some the patrons were sociable as well and made me feel at home. The Date Cake was excellent, perfectly sweetened and moist throughout. The Coffee was superb with what appeared to be citrus zest adding extra aromatic facets to this finely crafted beverage. 5/5 would recommend to all my friends and family!

Google
I ordered pistachio latte with my friend and we both love them! Hot and cold and makes me feel at home. Ibtihal gave us incredible service !

Kaye Bilbao

Google
got a karak tea here on a weekend and it was delicious! i'm not really a tea person but trying this was a refreshing change from what i usually get. would love to come back here for a coffee. didn't plan to, but ended up getting a cake to pair with. that was really standout forme - reminded me of tres leches, but a little more caramel. so good! place is small on the inside but has a very aesthetic interior. great for some photos. has some outside seating. was pretty quiet in the morning but got busy around after 1 on a weekend. would love to go back!

Google
I tried their Yemeni qahwah, saffron latte, Adani chai, chocolate crepe, and kunafa — and every single item was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The presentation was gorgeous, especially the drinks, and everything tasted as good as it looked.

Miriam Arellano

Google
The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were just as amazing. Dulce did a wonderful job explaining the coffee, teas, and the different spices in the drinks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Hasan also provided outstanding customer service—friendly and attentive. The environment was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be going back!

Google
HIGHLY, I mean HIGHLY recommend the Ice Saffron Latte. For one, the presentation is very elegant, but the coffee itself is not so bitter like in your average coffee shop. I must say, using an Erlenmeyer flask was creative. If it weren't for the meetup group I was with when I went, I would have NEVER known this hidden gem was here.

Moustapha El-Amine

Google
The Karak tea was as authentic as it can be and the pistachios latte was a great experience, served with coffee cubes (see pics). I loved the kanafe fruit cup! Seating outdoor and indoor. The service was great.

Sumbal Amjad

Google
I visited this lovely spot and was blown away by how delicious everything was! The pistachio latte was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness—it’s a must-try for any pistachio lover. I also had the karak chai, which was perfectly spiced and comforting, like a warm hug in a cup. The real showstopper was the pistachio milk cake—so soft, moist, and full of flavor. It was beautifully made and not overly sweet, which made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and you can really tell they put love into everything they serve. I’ll definitely be back for more treats!

Yelp
Yum and yummy! This small coffee shop hidden in Little Arabia Anaheim is truly a little gem and delight! Come here if you're a chai enthusiast or crave a decent glass of Yemeni coffee or matcha. The staff here is always great and attentive and the inside, well, it simply speaks for itself: Lusciously modern and chic! The plaza this establishment is located in is a bit small and packed especially on weekend nights so beware as parking can be tricky and seating inside the shop is limited.
google avatar

Laila R.

Yelp
Mind you, the karak chai (pictured in my review) was seven freaking dollars, and they didn't even fill it up to the top. Scam. What ever happened to Arab hospitality? The chai itself was good but would I recommend you pay seven dollars for a tiny cup not even filled all the way up? Definitely not. Check out another Yemeni coffee spot like Sana'a or something. This one ain't it. Also, there's not even an accessible menu, you have to scan the QR code to get it. Nice workers but the management must suck because these prices don't match what you get.

Yelp
nice late night spots for something sweet! imo anything dubai here is pretty good and great value for you're money compared to anywhere else in oc at the moment. they also have a lot of different dubai desserts i recommend their fruit cup and rolled crepe! it's quite chocolate heavy though so beware of the sweetness -- perfect for someone with a sweet tooth their strawberry matcha was just okay, wouldn't order again for my first time ever at a yemeni business, i was quite impressed. i think service and time could be better but i would def come back. plus, they close quite late so its a good late night dessert :)
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to try out the Dubai goodies and was a bit disappointed. The knafeh was not crispy and stale. Cashier had good customer and was nice
google avatar

Yelp
there were so many options! tried dubai chocolate for the first time & it was nice and crunchy. we went around 10 pm-ish & it was still fairly busy since it's located in Little Arabia. plenty of parking at that time of night. the owner/worker that was there was friendly to all his customers. overall pretty chill spot with a good place to hang out w some friends (only a few tables available though so just keep that in mind)!

Yelp
We were in Anaheim at night and I was craving something sweet. I was looking for a new place to try. We found Qahwah and Chapati Yemeni and it was nearby. They close at 12 AM which was very nice. Qahwah means coffee, and Chapati means flat unleavened bread which was very interesting to know. It's a small shop, but it has both indoor and outdoor seating. The shop was busy, we were lucky to find a table. The menu includes many drinks and desserts. To mention a few; crepes, cakes, croissants, Chapati pastries, espresso, Yemeni coffee and tea, in addition to cold drinks. Everything looked interesting and delicious in their menu. We ordered; -2 Iced Pistachio late 5/5 It has the perfect balance between strong espresso and silk, delicate taste of pistachio. I am craving this drink since I tried there. Just an excellent refreshing drink. -2 Konafa fruit cup 5/5 It was alternative layers of konafa, nutella, strawberry, and cream of pistachio. My goodness! I have not tried anything like this before. It's a scrumptious dessert. Then we ordered the following to go; -Rose cake 5/5 -Pistachio cake 5/5 Both of the cakes were moist and sweet, but not too rich or too heavy. -Masooba fata 5/5 I asked one of the staff about Masooba fata before I ordered it. He explained to me that it is a traditional dessert made of flatbread, cream, banana and honey. I was glad I ordered this dessert. It was delicious, rich, creamy , perfectly sweetened and humongous. The staff were helpful and friendly. The service was fast. The place is really a hidden gem in Anaheim. I am really glad we stopped by and tried many of their delicious desserts and drinks. I totally recommend this place.

Yelp
Beautiful fancy Yemeni coffee shop that opens until 2 a.m. Ramadan Mubarak everyone! To start off, I was looking for a place to study late and came through this place in Orange County. Plenty of parking with ins and outs seatings available. Designs are so gorgeous and bougie I lowkey can get married there LOL. I ordered the Pistachio Latte and Rose Milk Cake. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Since I've never tried Yemeni cuisine or drinks, I was so hyped with everything. However, the pistachio latte tasted kind of bland to me. It doesn't have a distinctive taste of pistachio but more of just milk and a hint of pistachio syrup. The coffee that comes with it was strong and really good, but I guess it was missing a signature flavor of pistachio that I was looking for. On the other hand, the rose milk cake comes with, I'm guessing, rose syrup. I think the cake was OK, couldn't really smell or taste the rose in the cake but once you eat it with the syrup, it comes off a bit of a sweet artificial rose flavor. Also, the cake becomes soggy after leaving in the syrup for 15 minutes. Wait time is about 15-20 minutes and the staff was very nice. However, I'd love if he can explain or give me recommendations on the drinks and desserts but he was mostly in the back unless staying in the cashier to charge, but it's understandable as he was the only one there for the night. Overall, I might come back if I'm ever in the area, but I guess I was just looking for a more significant flavors!

Yelp
This place is very and cute and it's next to house of Mandi. It is a little small space but it's decorated like back home. It is kind of expensive especially if you want karak chai and the desserts such as the caramel cake is very sweet. I am a sweet person but when you have it is like too much. The workers are very attentive and help you when you ask them questions.
google avatar

Tara M.

Yelp
Highly Recommended place for Karak tea lovers. Coffee and desserts are available. This place is next to a busy restaurant called House of Mandi and after a dinner this spot is really good for those who crave for tea after dinner.

Yelp
Service food are great & good customer's service best food ambiance was great coffee was amazing
google avatar

Yasmeen E.

Yelp
We loved the desserts offered and the karak tea was very good! I like the seating but it is quite small. In general Little Arabia has a lot to offer for Arabs, so it's always nice to check out a new place.

Yelp
Stopped here to grab coffee to go and it did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and helped us quickly. The decor is really nice but it was much smaller than I expected. Cozy is the better term. Coffee was delicious will come again!
google avatar

Ash D.

Yelp
Best coffee. Saffron coffee was 10/10 and I like that they use coffee ice cubes. The Yemeni dark coffee was 10/10 as well
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped by for a place to have a quick work session and was pleasantly surprised. It had nice ambiance and I was able to get quite a bit done. My order came out quickly and the woman working was helpful with recommendations. It made for a productive work session while eating a saffron cake and sipping on an iced caramel macchiato. The cake was very moist and my drink hit the spot. Would recommend!

Yelp
After being stuffed from lunch in the area, we had to find something to help us digest and avoid a food coma, and we saw that this was a new place that recently opened up! PARKING: Good amount of parking in the plaza it's in. THE COFFEE: Both of us ordered the Yemeni black coffee, This was pretty solid. The coffee was super flavorful and definitely had a unique aroma to it. There's sugar on the table too if you're interested in sweetening it up. SERVICE: Pretty straightforward and kind. VIBES: This place was GORGEOUS! Having just opened, the space looks pretty sleek and luxurious. I could totally envision chatting here with friends. The space was pretty empty when we went, so I'm not sure what it's like when it's more packed. BOTTOM LINE: I regret not trying the tea as others have mentioned, as well as the pastries. I'll have to come back again and report back!

Yelp
I'm loving the rise in our Arab coffee shop scenes, especially that they open late. Found this on Yelp and was excited to find something closer than Qamaria in Fullerton. It is a tiny little cafe with a few indoor seats and a few outdoor seats. The menu is plentiful for both drinks and treats. We ordered the milk coffees and a slice of the pistachio milk cake. As they prepared our drinks, they brought us the cake slice, along with complementary white coffee, dates, and a cup of mint tea. Such a generous welcoming service with friendly staff. Everything was delicious and so elegantly presented to match the classy upscale Arab decor. They don't have a restroom but do share space with House of Mendi next door and you can use theirs so it's manageable. All in all, an excellent choice for a caffeine kick or a sweet tooth or a date!

Yelp
Nice, little, cozy place! The servers were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. We tried the Karak Tea, Yemeni Milk Coffee, and Saffron Cake. The Karak Tea was nice and light. The Milk Coffee was a bit strong/bitter for me. The Saffron Cake was good. I found it to be like a tres leches cake, except the bottom of the cake where it soaks, becomes a little powerful with the saffron flavor. I still enjoyed the experience and would be open to returning and trying more things!

Dunya G.

Yelp
Location is cute, next to a restaurant and both are delicious. Would definitely recommend their teas and desserts.

Yelp
Dulce was so sweet and helpful. I got the pistachio latte was so good and so was the pastries. Will be back.

Yelp
nice spot to sit and talk for a while. theres some seating inside and outside. it was cold so they let us sit inside at their restaurant right next door. the crepe was sweet and the pistachio latte was delicious.

Yelp
Was looking for a coffee spot while out in Anaheim and so glad I found this spot! I've never tried Yemeni Coffee but am always on the hunt for a great coffee spot. The pistachio coffee was delicious, the coffee had lots of flavor and the pistachio cream added was heavenly. Wish they had something like this out in South bay but definitely will be back soon!

Yelp
Coffee is not good-- plain and simple. The pistachio latte was not good at all .. it had oil globules floating on top after a while...

Yelp
The food and service is outstanding. We loved our tea and our dessert cakes. One of the best teas I've ever tasted. Hassan hosted us great and we enjoyed our visit. We will definitely return. We totally recommend it!

Yelp
Tasty authentic Arabic / Turkish coffee. Nice service and setting. Very comfortable and chill. Loved the music they play.

Yelp
Dear Yelp Community, Nice (different) coffee shop (inside a not-so-appealing shopping center). Friendly staff. Excellent food called "Chapati" (I ordered the plain), and also enjoyed Yemeni milk coffee (you can see the residue at the bottom of the cup, so not espresso). I appreciated this cultural experience, and the music supports the environment. Do try! Well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

Yelp
This place was a great find! It's open late and was very welcoming. I love the tea and pastries. We had a chocolate croissant and chapati and honey. It was bright, clean, and had great cups and teapots.

Yelp
I love finding desi and yemeni coffee+tea houses that have been popping up around town recently. This is believe is a newer business that has started recently. The interior is really nicely decorated and air conditioned. It's tiny but has a good amount of seating area. Now again I believe this place is new and open for a month or so but to not have a menu or QR code that takes you to a digital menu was mind boggling. Instead I was told to find the social media page and then click the link. An elder couple after me had no idea what that meant and was baffled for not having one printed menu on hand or a QR code printed. It was run by a very hard working lady who had to do everything herself from making all the drinks and taking orders and answering phone calls. As impressive as that may be it's not easy to run a new business in such a way as my order of a pot of Karak Tea, Chapati with honey, and Saffron Milk Cake took about 30 mins to be ready. The tea was good and had its own unique taste from other karak tea I have had. The saffron cake was nice and moist with good saffron flavor and I loved the thick chapati with honey. The tea could use a heat stand or a candle underneath to keep it hot but beside that the desserts and drink was good. Execution was very sloppy with the lack of menu and a single person running the show. People there were visibly upset but I really hope this place can turn it around as they have a lot of potential and good products.

Yelp
Delicious but a little over priced for what they serve. Seating is very limited but the service is wonderful. I would go again but it's a bit pricey.

Minnie N.

Yelp
I got the strawberry matcha and Dubai strawberries. Nothing special about. Didn't enjoy or finish the drink. Service was slow, waited 15 minutes, loud music

Lika M.

Yelp
I love this place. Yemeni Coffee is served in Saude, UAE, and many other Arabic countries because it is of the finest quality. The atmosphere is lovely. The people working were so kind and helpful--two younger men. The Qahwa is perfect. This is the first place in California I have found that makes true Qahwa. They served us on a beautiful tray with dates, indeed the Arabic tradition. They also had YEMENI HONEY!!!!! And offered for us to try. For those who do not know, Yemeni Honey is the best in the world. This truly is like being in an arabic country, the Qahwa was made fresh and in the traditional fashion. Love, Love, Love-

Yelp
Love it!!!!! Very authentic and unique. Try their desserts you will not regret it. Coffee was superb! Really great experience.

Yelp
Omg after trying all of the dessert places in OC...this has got to be the BEST one I have found in such a long time. This is a small place, but the service and food was exceptional. Dubai chocolate crepe was amazing, pistachio milk cake was definitely one of the best milk cakes I've had in SoCal. Karak Tea made with milk (you have to specify to make majority with milk) was a 10/10. I can not say enough amazing things about the food here. It is open till 2am, what an amazing hidden gem and great find.
google avatar

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Great new little coffee & tea shop. Tried the karak tea recommended by others - delicious! Plan to return (much earlier in the day) in the future to try the coffee.
google avatar

Maylina M.

Yelp
Tried the Qahwah coffee and Karak tea!!! Soooooo delicious!!!! Will definitely be back !
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came around 7pm on a Saturday for new coffee shops to study at and stumbled upon this store. The inside is bright and clean. we got the matcha latte and pistachio latte. The matcha was ok, but the pistache was really good! I saw they sold other desserts but didn't get a chance to try. The environment is pretty busy and loud when we came in since it was crowded. We honestly didn't mind the noise and liked the bustling of the workers and customers as we studied. It may not be ideal for others if you're looking for a more calmer, quieter place. Workers are friendly and gave lots of suggestions! Ample seating inside and outside, too.
google avatar

Bushra S.

Yelp
Pretty good Yemeni coffee place. Right next to House of Mandi and it's owned by them too. Small shop little seating. I think if you eat at house of Mandi you can order your tea and dessert from here and they bring it to you.
google avatar

Ryan A.

Yelp
Very chill and relaxing area to either study or hang out with friends. Karak tea is very smooth and delicious. Not heavy or too light and sweetness is good. Hassan, the barista was really cool and helpful on picking the right drink. Getting a pot with some friends is perfect for the night.
google avatar

Mmmeat E.

Yelp
The place is small but ambience is cute, bright and clean. The lady who helped us was nice. The qawah is good. We also had the saffron milk cake and the chapati. Chapati is same as we make at home (a bit overdone imo) but really recommend the saffron cake. I love their sign (logo) it's whimsical and creative. It's located next door and affiliated to House of Mandi. We'll definitely be back.

T. S.

Yelp
I ordered the Yemeni coffee, its served piping hot- so don't drink it right away like me. :D it's strong and has a deep flavor, I love the cardamom. I tried the honeycomb bread or as the staff taught me how to say khaliat nahal.they have chocolate one that is very yummy. I would love to try it fresh out of the oven, because That is heaven on earth! The staff is wonderfully kind, and polite I will be back. I wish Los Angeles had Yemeni coffee shops. This is culture built around coffee, from the decor to being able to order a pot of coffee and share with friends. So delightful. Los Angeles has good coffee but it's missing this aspect-you go in and get your coffee and leave. We waste a paper cup and plastic lid. Here you can drink your coffee out of a real cup, and have utensils that won't pollute the environment.

Gigi L.

Yelp
Support this local business. What a gem!!!! Super delighted to have found this place and they cater too!!!
google avatar

Shamine S.

Yelp
Quality of drinks was amazing! I loved the flavor of the cake and it was so milky and perfect.

Bindi B.

Yelp
We had the pistachio lattes, very yummy but if you want it iced it's an additional $4 coming out to $9 for one which felt excessive to me. Cashier/barista wasn't very welcoming, felt like we were intruding on her time or something.
google avatar

Archana G.

Yelp
Was craving Indian tea. Chanced upon this gem of a place, while visiting Anaheim. The best Karak chai and what took us right back home was having it with Chapati. Great ambiance and set up!
