"Qahwah House, a Yemeni coffee shop that started in Dearborn, Michigan, now has their fourth location in New York near Columbia. The space is big, and you can get tea, coffee, and pastries like honey-drenched, cheese-filled khaliat al nahl there. If you’re a student, it could be a useful study spot—or for a meet-cute." - will hartman

Nice place serving some good Yemeni coffee and tea . One can have a regular size or pot. We had medium pot came with 2 small cup to be refilled. If you like this authentic coffee/tea this is a place. They have some good dessert options too . We got some as togo and for our friends they really liked it.

I had a great experience at this coffee shop! I ordered tea, and it was perfectly brewed with rich flavor and just the right temperature. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax. Ali was great—super friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back. **Qahwah House McKinney Dallas – A Refreshing Experience with Delightful Treats** I recently visited Qahwah House McKinney Dallas and was delighted to try their new Matcha Strawberry drink. They were running a fun promotion where you could get 50% off if you wore the same color as their flag—and lucky me, my strawberry red shirt qualified! 🥰 It made the experience even sweeter. The Matcha Strawberry drink was a refreshing choice, and I’m glad I decided to go for it this time, as my previous experience with their Yemeni coffee was a little disappointing—it just wasn’t made right. However, this new drink did not disappoint, offering a perfect balance of flavors. My kids had a blast with their treats too! They enjoyed chocolate and strawberry cake pops, as well as a Yemeni Dubai-inspired cake. Watching their happiness was definitely the highlight of the visit. 😊 Overall, Qahwah House Dallas seems to be stepping up their game with fun promotions and exciting new items. I’d recommend giving it a try, especially if you’re in the mood for something unique or have kids to please with sweet treats!

A Taste of Yemen in McKinney: Qahwah House Delivers a Coffee Experience Worth Savoring. There is a poetry to Yemeni coffee—an ancient cadence, a story whispered through spice-laced steam. At Qahwah House McKinney, that story unfolds in every sip, every bite, an homage to a tradition that predates the modern coffeehouse by centuries. From the moment you step inside, the aroma wraps around you like a well-worn tapestry of cardamom, cinnamon, and the deep, almost mystical allure of slow-roasted 100% organic farm to roaster Arabica beans. This is not just coffee; it is an elixir of history, a bridge between past and present, poured into delicate, steaming cups. The Triple Chocolate Cake—a revelation of velvety richness—dances on the palate with a balance of bitter cocoa and silken sweetness, while the Turkish Chocolate Torte, evocative of Dubai’s most decadent patisseries, is a study in opulence: dense, luscious, unapologetically indulgent. Yet, it is the coffee that commands reverence. Every sip is a testament to craft, to an unwavering dedication to purity and depth. The first taste hums with the vibrancy of sun-drenched coffee cherries; the finish lingers, warm and complex, a whisper of spice and earth. In an era where coffee culture often leans toward the performative, Qahwah House McKinney reminds us of something elemental: that a perfect cup is not about trends but about tradition, terroir, and time. Go. Sip. Savor. This is coffee as it was meant to be.

Yelp
I recently visited Qahwah House to pick up some coffee beans, and I ended up walking out with much more than I anticipated--an experience my whole family won't soon forget. Upon arrival, the first thing that caught my eye wasn't just the coffee beans I came for, but the tempting selection of desserts on display. It was almost impossible to resist, so I ended up ordering a variety to share with my wife and kids. The desserts did not disappoint. Each one was a little masterpiece, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the coffee. My family had a blast trying them all, and every bite brought smiles to their faces. The family favorite with the pistachio dream cake, it was nothing short of incredible. But let me get to the real star of the show--the coffee. As a husband and dad who loves making my own drinks at home using a Lelit European coffee machine, I've tried my fair share of beans, and I can honestly say these are some of the best I've ever had. The gentleman behind the counter was awesome, his name was Ali, and he warned me that I would be hooked on the delicious taste of Yemen coffee, but I had no idea how correct he would be. The depth of flavor was unparalleled. Each shot brewed with these beans made me feel like I was drinking coffee from a top-tier café. Rich, smooth, and full of character, it was a perfect balance, and I can't stop thinking about it. Qahwah House might have started as a quick errand for me, but it turned into a family experience. Whether you're there for the desserts or the coffee (or both, like I was!), it's a place you need to check out. The coffee alone makes it worth the visit, but the warm atmosphere and delicious treats make it a spot the whole family can enjoy. Highly recommend! This is my new coffee bean spot, and my families new and favorite dessert spot. Bravo Qahwah House!!

Yelp
Seeing a few of these Yemeni Coffee houses popping up nowadays. The great thing is they keep later hours so it's a place to hang late nights. Qahwah House is pretty big inside with lots of seats in various arrangements that is well suited to accommodate groups. We saw a couple of big families while we were here. Where you might run into problems is how busy it gets. We were here on a weeknight and it was pretty full! Our group got a medium pot of the Adheni Tea and the Honeycomb bread and triple chocolate cake to accompany that. The Honeycomb bread is not super sweet and I would call it interesting. The triple chocolate cake was fine but nothing special that i would crave again. The tea was really good and strong. The medium pot was enough for 2-3 servings for our group of 4. I would enjoy coming back here, especially later in the evening after dinner.

Yelp
Y'all can't imagine how obsessed with coffee people are here, the owner and the manager are very welcoming. Had great service, coffee was fantastically good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The Qahwah House I first visited was in Brooklyn New York. I'm excited they've come to north Dallas here. I had a high expectation coming in. But my first experience here was mixed :( I love Adeni chai so this was what I went for. It was rich, creamy, and nutty as it should be. I also had their honey comb bread. It was really good! They also have other pastries if you like something else. I came in on a busy Saturday morning and was surprised to see only two baristas working diligently behind the counter. While waiting for my order, I noticed others who ordered after me were served first. When I asked about the long delay, the barista couldn't explain why orders placed after me were ready before me and also didn't seem to understand my frustration. When my order was ready, it took 40 long minutes! Can't believe my patience was stretched that far! I hope my disappointing service was just a one-off experience. Anyway, I still enjoyed the tea and food. I may come back when I crave a nice chai again -- probably not too soon though. My friendly advice to you (and me) is don't come during a busy time!

Yelp
A very good experience at Qahwah House this morning. My friends and I went for the first time here. Upon entering, the lady behind the counter greeted us with a big smile. The smell of coffee beans pleasantly filled the atmosphere. I ordered a cappuccino, it was well made, the evaporated milk was thick, it didn't dissolve right away like it happens in other low quality places. Big and good selection of coffee and tea. They have also a varieties of delicious cakes. The chocolate and the pistachio one highly recommended. Nice decoration inside and clean. I will surely return very soon!

Yelp
Come for the tea, skip out on the pastries. I did not get to try any of their more authentic sweets because they were sold out but their cake slices and other pastries just seem like your average coffee shop bakery items that you can't figure out whether or not are from Restaurant Depot or not. Service was good, quick and easy. Order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, and you pick up your food. Not sure where to return the dishes since everything is glass and they have you throw away your own trash in one of those standard restaurant bins. So you have a tray full of dishes with nowhere to put them. Clear signage would be beneficial. Overall the ambiance is meh. You get better ambiance further into McKinney at Escape 360. The seating isn't comfortable enough for you to come and work remote but it's a great place to catch up. Overall; while there is room for improvement - if you come for a good cup of tea you will find one.

Yelp
Honestly the best coffee I have ever had. Ali asked me what we liked (as we were first timers) made me an awesome drip with Cardamom and other spice and lavender latte for my wife. Just amazing cofffee and great service. Thanks Ali.

Yelp
I'm so glad this place is so close to home. I find myself here on multiple occasions from catching up with friends, to needing a little me time, or in between work appointments. Lots of space for groups of varying sizes. The adeni tea, and pistachio latte are my personal faves. If you have a sweet tooth, try the hazelnut tart, or pistachio tart. The sweetness is the perfect combo with the tea. Also their honeycomb bread is hands down my favorite of all the ones I've had a various other tea houses.

Yelp
Service was kind and patient when ordering. Pastries incredibly good. Drinks are top notch. Gorgeous interiors and good for either catching up with small to larger groups or simply working. A little on the loud side but expected.

Yelp
Every the pastry here is very subtly sweet. I loved the Yemeni (ahem, Dubai) chocolate "puck" and coconut basbousa. Coffee (San'ani) is excellent.

Yelp
The atmosphere is really nice. Love the history and land of Yemen displayed in the decor. Lots of space for large groups. Great service and friendly staff. We enjoyed the Jubani and Mufawar coffee - served hot and with the perfect level of specialty flavors. We also enjoyed the carrot molten cake and vegan chocolate cake - sweet and delicious mid-day dessert to enjoy with a cup of coffee. A wonderful coffee house to get work done on your laptop or enjoy catching up with friends.

Yelp
pretty disappointed by my experience. i've heard so many great things about the chain/brand so i was excited to try it finally in my hometown. some of my complaints can be chopped up to new/untrained baristas but because this is a chain, the service should be standardized in my opinion. i ordered a pistachio latte, medium sweet. the espresso was very obviously burnt and the drink tasted nothing like a pistachio latte. the only redeeming quality was that the latte art was beautiful. My siblings ordered a matcha latte and the adeni tea. the adeni tea was the only acceptable drink we tried. we also ordered the spinach and feta pastry as well as the cheesecake. seemed like all the food options were frozen/mass produced options that were warmed up and served. nothing great to say about that. all in all, im disappointed. very excited to see so many muslim-owned cafes opening in the DFW area. loved the ambiance in the cafe and there's lots of space to work/hang out, but if you want a good cup of coffee or a snack, try one of the other yemeni spots in the metroplex.

Yelp
Great place to try out yemeni coffee! Service was fast and the cafe was really cute, got the adeni chai, iced adeni chai, and coconut basbousa. 10/10!
