LA’s New Restaurant Openings - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This Yemeni coffee chain already has locations in Fullerton and Riverside, but now they’ve made their way into LA County with a shop in Culver City. Qamraria uses beans sourced from Yemen and infuses drinks with spices like cardamom, clove, and ginger. Look for pistachio lattes, mango smoothies, iced mufawaars, and a Qamaria latte with cinnamon and honey." - cathy park

Google
This was a new coffee shop I went with my friend. I’m not much of a coffee person, but this was a great place. I had their Iced Qmaraia Latte and it was so good. The milk cakes are the best. I recommend getting the caramel milk cake, pairs well with the lattes. The people were really nice, I enjoy their service. It’s also a great place to hang around with friends and do work. It had a very middle eastern atmosphere to it, which was unique and made the place even better. Highly recommend going there to get coffee and hang out.

Google
Was in the area and stumbled across this gem 💎! Apparently they opened a couple months ago and it is a beautiful coffee shop! I tried a Qamaria almond milk latte, did a bit of work and took an Adeni tea to go. The staff was very kind and the space expansive, with plenty of room to do work or hang with friends. I parked in the neighborhood adjacent, but there was a lot behind too.

Google
Really beautiful space with plenty of tables in the upper level. I got a pistachio latte which was very tasty. They have many food options as well including different flavors of milk cakes and cheesecakes. Staff is super friendly😊 will definitely be back!

Google
I’ve been looking for a late night coffee shop in LA for so long and Qamaria is the perfect place. Great for working or meeting up with friends - got a kettle of the Adeni Tea which is fantastic

Google
Reading people's review that the venue got super busy on the weekend even until pretty late at night, it’s awesome that I was able to make a stop on a weekday and it's pretty easy to get a seat despite there were quite many guests. Dedicated parking was another win! They used a token to notify you that your order's ready for pickup so you basically needn't have to stand and wait when they're prepping for it. If you're planning to work and use the wifi, it could be a bit spotty (at least that's my experience). Nonetheless, the space was pretty quiet and actually other than the wifi the ambiance was perfect for working spot. They did offer plenty of sweet treats displayed at the counter, including their various flavors of milk cake as well as cheesecakes. I guessed the popular would surely be the dubai chocolate one given the hype. I tried their Iced Pistachio Latte, coming with generous pistachio sauce, making it bit too sweet but I guessed you might tailor it if you fancied it to be less. The price tag was closer to the high end especially if you opted for alternative milk, which costed $1 extra. With tip, it might cost around $12-ish a cup. I would say the coffee was overall okay, but prolly not something I would consider having on a more regular basis given the price.

Google
delicious, great atmosphere, and great service! (shout out for sara who took my order) the adani chai, mango smoothie, and cakes are delicious (pistachio chocolate cheesecake and rose milk cake were my favorites) will have to come back to try more of the coffees !

Google
Eden tea was amazing. I tried kunafa chocolate cheese cake it was yummy. Server made recommendations which I loved. Best service ever. I smelled coffee from a mile away.

Google
Yemeni coffee shop . Also served different types of tea and coffee from midle east and baked goods. Qamaria has prayer room w/prayer rugs. This place is for young crowd to hangout. It open until 1am. Little overpriced for me.

Adham I.

Yelp
The Adeni Chai was amazing! Perfect amount of sweetness and great flavor. Also loved the lotus biscoff cheesecake. Great friendly staff and service and the decor/ambiance was great. Definitely recommend this coffee shop and glad they opened a location in LA. Parking was easy with complimentary valet in the parking lot behind the store. Looking forward to trying the iced pistachio latte and kunafeh cheesecake on my next visit.

Yelp
Anything I say in this review, multiple it by 1000. The location is large and beautiful. Many tables and cute hidden corners for those studying for exams or want to catch up with old friends. The service is one of the best, kind, informative, and polite. Don't get me started on the food, if you have a sweet tooth you might be in trouble. Every item on the menu is pure perfection. We have been making a 45 minute drive to their OC location for the pistachio latte, so happy that they opened this location. I have visited a few of them while I was staying in Michigan and they have all been consistent. This is the purest thing about the business. Thank you to the owners, staff and the people that will make this more popular than those trendy too hyped coffee shops. It's bittersweet because I want to tell everyone about this place but I also want to keep the secret so it doesn't get too busy. Sorry, not sorry. Thanks again for this beautiful location in West LA.

Yelp
First impression- huge place with a very distinct style/ decor. Two story cafe with tons of visible seating Parking- there's a back lot with some parking spots specific to Qamaria but we found street parking since those were full. Definitely not a deterrent Drinks- Came with two friends and we all decided to try the Iced Qamaria latte. The spices were the first flavor to hit once we took a sip definitely strong and after a few minutes the sweetener mixed with the drink and everything became cohesive. Not bad, not a ginormous fan of cardamom but the rest of party liked it! Service- Quickly taken care of by the front employees. Gave us a few recommendations. Overall- will definitely be back as this is a great spot to study or catch up over a nice tea especially since winter is coming soon.

Yelp
Really loving this late night coffee shop in Culver! I've gone three times already and have always found easy parking and ample seating. It's 2 floors and there are plenty of outlets for working. There's a mix of groups socializing and people working on laptops, solo or with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. So far I have tried the biscoff milk cake and the biscoff cheesecake. The milk cake was stellar and I'm excited to try the other milk cake flavors. I've also given the Adeni, Mufwaar, matcha latte, and Qamaria latte a try. Their lattes are definitely are bit heavy handed with the milk and milder in flavor. However their Adeni and Mideast were both great, solid drinks with rich flavor profiles. Their Aryasi beverage (mango smoothie with aryasi syrup) was also fantastic, really bright and refreshing with a delicious mango flavor. Overall it's a great, bright space, with many an option for sweet treats and drinks. Happy to have a late night spot coffee spot on the west side!

Yelp
I saw videos of this place on TikTok and decided last minute to make a trip here! I came here around 9pm on a Tuesday night. Had not difficulties finding parking or seats. Though there were only a few tables left when I came! So I'm sure it definitely gets busier at times! We ordered a honey bread and the biscoff cheesecake. The honey bread was warm with cream cheese inside. I personally wasn't a huge fan of this, but I can definitely see why people like it! The biscoff cheesecake was good, but I wasn't impressed by it. I think what I was most impressed by was the space! It's absolutely beautiful! Lots of seating and such a great study place! I'm eager to try their other desserts and drinks as well! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Loved the vibes & coffee here! This 2-story Qamaria is a perfect addition to Culver City. I wouldn't get the Dubai cheesecake again but loved the milk cake. Just a note: the valet parking attendant said it's $20 for parking behind the lot; no complimentary parking like the yelp reviews said. I'm not sure if it's a newer policy.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a beautiful coffee shop! Right when you walk in, you're welcomed with warm smiles and a beautiful spacious lobby with high ceilings. Everything we got here was sooooo good. I loved their signature tea and their honey bread--it's the perfect combo! We also got the pistachio latte and pistachio cheesecake, which were both delicious as well. Everything we got here was amazing and I also appreciated the kind and warm service of their staff. This is the first Qamaria I've been to and I'm thoroughly impressed!

Yelp
I've not tried Yemeni food before, and I'm glad that Qamaria opened recently to give it a try. There's parking behind the establishment, and I liked how spacious the cafe was, with two floors! Staff was nice and helpful when picking out what to order, and I opted for a Qamaria latte (iced), chocolate pistachio cheesecake, and potato fatayer. Also got a pistachio chocolate (aka Dubai chocolate) to-go. The Qamaria latte was absolutely delicious: I have a sweet tooth, so I asked for regular sugar, which was just the right hit for me. However, I can imagine it might be too sweet for some, so you have the option of adjusting the sweetness level. The potato fatayer was yummy warmed up, and the texture/flavor reminded me of a blend of samosa and empanada-- I could have a dozen more of those! The chocolate pistachio cheesecake was okay-- tasty enough, but essentially a regular cheesecake with a bit of chocolate and pistachio sprinkled on top-- I'd give this a pass next time. Highly recommend giving Qamaria a try! I'll happily be back!

Yelp
The delicious smell of cardamom and spices greets you right when you walk in. I haven't seen many Yemeni coffee shops in LA, so incredibly lucky to have one as great as this one on the west side! SO many cakes and cheesecakes to choose from. And their drinks menu is expansive as well. We have ordered: - Iced Qamaria Latte - great, but would get less sweet - Hot Pistachio Latte - great, but would also get less sweet - Adeni Tea - so yummy It's spacious inside, with indoor, upstairs, and outdoor seating. Service is very kind and helped me choose my drink and cake. There is also a prayer room upstairs. WiFi is solid! Some outlets available. Small parking lot and metered parking around. My only complaint is that they use beepers for notifying you when your order is ready, which can be loud and disruptive. Easily becoming one of my favorite places to WFH!

Yelp
Delicious authentic treat--coffee + dessert! Big thanks to Sumaya, Fahad, and the whole staff for their wonderful service (they deserve a pay raise!). Ideal spot to study or work with plenty of outlets, chargers, and reliable WiFi. Relaxing ambiance. God bless!

Yelp
When I tell you guys that I am so so so SO FRICKING happy that Qamaria has opened a location near me, I seriously mean it from the bottom of my heart. Not only are they open late, they also hired amazingly talented and kind staff-- they have a smile on their face during the busiest of times, always are consistent with the quality of their drinks, and will always make you feel like family. The cakes are always so delicious, and I just love coming here to study, catch up with friends, or just to hang out. They have plenty of seating, a prayer nook, and honestly, everything you need to feel welcome and comfortable. Give them a visit please!

Yelp
Coincidence or not, I bumped into 2 relatively new arabic coffee shops in town very recently. Qamaria was the second one I tried and the venue was much more accessible for me, also convenient with plenty of seats and dedicated parking space at the back. I've been reading people's review that the venue got super busy on the weekend even until pretty late at night. However, I was able to make a stop on a weekday and it's pretty easy to get a seat despite there were quite many guests. It was great that they used a token to notify you that your order's ready for pickup so you basically needn't have to stand and wait when they're prepping for it. If you're planning to work and use the wifi, it could be a bit spotty (at least that's my experience). Nonetheless, the space was pretty quiet and actually other than the wifi the ambiance was perfect for working spot. They did offer plenty of sweet treats displayed at the counter, including their various flavors of milk cake (similar to tres leches I think) as well as cheesecakes. I guessed the popular would surely be the dubai chocolate one given the hype. I tried their Iced Pistachio Latte, which the barista recommended as I said I wasn't into Cardamom, which was the ingredients for their top selling coffee. They used pistachio sauce, which was generously featured in the drink, making it bit too sweet but I guessed you might tailor it if you fancied it to be less. The price tag was closer to the high end especially if you opted for alternative milk, which costed $1 extra. With tip, it might cost around $12-ish a cup. I would say the coffee was overall okay, but prolly not something I would consider having on a more regular basis given the price.

Yelp
A perfect spot to sip a great cup of coffee, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The café has complimentary Wi-Fi, parking in the backlot, plenty of seating, a designated prayer space, clean restrooms, and beautiful natural light throughout. I sat upstairs in a cozy cushion-filled nook that overlooks the first level. While enjoying my Qamaria latte with oat milk, which was fantastic! Rich with cardamom flavor and none of that artificial "fall candle" aftertaste. I kept the default sweetness and liked that it wasn't overly sweet. At their Fullerton location, I tried the hot pistachio latte, and it was just as good. Qamaria is officially 2 for 2 on drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
So excited to have Qamaria open on the westside! It was packed on a Saturday night. There was a line out the door and at least 10 people behind the counter slinging the drinks. You receive a buzzer once your order is placed. We ordered an adeni chai and a Turkish coffee. Took an hour for the drinks. At the 30 min mark we asked the worker who was passing out the drinks what the wait time would be and she said it's a 6 step boiling process. So keep in mind if you're ordering the hot teas, you won't receive it as immediate as your friends who order a matcha. Drink has a skin on the top due to the dairy in the condensed milk. There are plenty of tables but it was soooo busy so you do have to wait for people to leave. There is complimentary valet. They only accept tips. We parked at the street meter a block away since we didn't have cash. Will come back when hype goes down.

Yelp
WOW first of all, i had no idea was Yemen coffee was, i got their Qamaria iced latte and it was so so amazing. perfect blend of coffee, spice, and sweetness - i loved the cardamom flavor in it! second, the space is magnificent. it feels so homey and fits the vibes so so well. i love that its too stories, great for working from during the day. third, the owner came up and intorduced himself and shared that him and his wife started this cafe and have a few locations in LA, with culver city being the newest location fourth, they are open until midnight! he shared that at night time there is a line out the door and i can imagine why!! i cant wait to bring all my friends and family to enjoy the cafe and the space and excited to be able to visit at night!
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
I came in with a friend and was immediately struck by how gorgeous the pastries were. The staff was super polite and really helpful since it was our first time tasting Yemen coffee. I appreciated that we weren't rushed because we lingered for a bit, and the seating is limited. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Yelp
The perfect cafe & study spot!! I got the Qamaria latte and saffron milk cake, both were amazing! The ambiance is perfect for studying, tons of tables, outlets, and an upstairs area.
google avatar

Sunny S.

Yelp
Qamaria is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of LA! The coffee along with the food are so so tasty. I highly recommend this place the interior is beautiful and everything is thought out really well. They have a lot of space if you want to work they have both an upstairs and downstairs section. The coffee is strong and tasty. The service is super friendly and fast. They also have free valet parking in the back. Highly Recommend Qamaria Iced Latte Honeycomb Bread Potato Fatayeh Pastry Cheese Fatayeh Pastry This place is solid and can't wait to be back.
google avatar

Gem P.

Yelp
Love the qamaria latte and biscoff milk tea cake! Pistachio latte a little too sweet for me personally but still tasty. Lovely quiet place, need to go back and try a more plain espresso beverage.

Yelp
Damn, I thought I knew what good coffee tasted like until I came here. The iced pistachio latte is something that deserves to savored and pairs well with any one of the delicious sweet cakes they offer! Fortunately, my family had a game plan to order different cakes and share them. Don't miss out on the cheesecake - any of them! They're dense and delightful. We sat up on the top floor gazing out and admiring the beautiful decor of the coffee shop. Every employee that we came across was so accommodating and genuinely kindhearted. It is such an inviting space, and I can't welcome it enough.
google avatar

Franklin M.

Yelp
We were passing through and I pointed out this coffee shop and my daughter requested that we stop and try their coffee drinks. The interior is very nice and has some cool murals and selfie spots. We ordered one of the specialty iced drinks and a cheesecake. The matcha drink was delicious all around but the cheesecake was okay.
google avatar

Samantha K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our visit to qamaria! We came on a Sunday morning and there was a small line but we didn't end up waiting too long to place our order. I got the qamaria iced latte and it was delicious. My partner tried the pistachio latte which was also really good. There was a big selection of baked goods that all looked great. The inside is spacious and a good place to study or hang out and there's a lot behind the building with spots.
google avatar

Hagar A.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to a place like this in LA, luckily it's also on the Westside. It's very hard to find a cafe spot that's opened in the evening that doesn't serve alcohol. I came here with the family and ordered the kettle with desserts. Very tasty and authentic taste and experience. Loved that there's a prayer area for Muslims and a bidet in the bathroom. The decoration is so elegant and welcoming. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. I requested a song and they were more than welcoming to play it. Definitely a spot to repeatedly visit
google avatar

Leighton W.

Yelp
Chill, mellow vibes. I got the cold mufawaar, had a strong cardamom flavor. Weekends get busy apparently but the line moves fast so that's great. Very spacious, would def come back to prop up and do a bit of work. Service is fast and friendly, they have a lot of workers. Someone said earlier that it took an hr for their drinks, yikes. Our experience was pretty smooth, drinks were great, so I'd love to stop by again to try the others!

Yelp
When I say this place filled my heart up, I'm not talkin about how a diabetic feels after ordering a Whopper at BK (??), I'm talkin about a place with the warmest atmosphere and drinks that will quite literally put a smile on your silly lil face. I was greeted by the owner, a nice tall man in a kurta / kandura type outfit who welcomed my family visiting from outta town and exchanged the nicest pleasantries with each of us. He may be the nicest person I've had the pleasure of speaking the English language with maybe in the past 10 years of my existence (tied with this one fruit vendor I met in DTLA during a summer internship a while back). My guy had "aura" as the kids say. Everyone here from the owner to the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always aim to please - it's the white glove service. We ordered the Aden Shai had just the right amount of sugar and came in a beautiful kettle alongside cups that may have been carved by God him/her/theirself (no specific God just higher power one does OR DOESNT believe in - tryna cover all my bases here). This is a wonderful hangout spot open till midnight and it is worth the visit for the tea/coffee but also for the warmth provided by the staff & overall ambiance. GO NOW!
google avatar

Justin G.

Yelp
Excellent all around! I've heard amazing things about Qamaria and had to try it for myself. The drinks are flavorful and creative - try the pistachio latte! the pastries are warm and inviting, and the vibe inside is just right. Perfect for a working session or just to chill. My new favorite coffee spot around Culver!
google avatar

Andres T.

Yelp
The service was great. We got coffee, a refresher, food, and pastries. Everything had a unique and delicious flavor. The ambiance is amazing. I could not recommend this place enough. I will keep coming back.
google avatar

Janette L.

Yelp
Came for the soft open and it was pretty good. I think this place will do well based on the service and quality I experienced already. I think the pricing was reasonable for what you get. It's a nice large coffee shop with hot food (I ordered the chicken fatayeh... yummy) and a good variety of drinks. I tried the refresher - mango dragonfruit drink and iced matcha latte and they were both tasty. I would order them again. Definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Aneesa M.

Yelp
Love this new location. It's so spacious and the adeni chai is just as good as in Orange County and other places in NYC. I'm glad they opened here and excited to be there on the day they opened!
google avatar

Alejandra A.

Yelp
Went to this place around 10 PM, this place gets really busy around this time. We have a young and old walking into this place. I love the whole Arabian feel so pretty. They have a set of stairs on the right side of this café that you could only get to the top floor. It is very crowded sometimes not enough room to be seated, but if you want a really good cup of coffee to go and a pastry, I definitely suggest it. I had the pistachio latte. Iced and we also had a slice of cheesecake chocolate pistachio cheesecake I have no regrets. Coffee is delicious and the pastries are exquisite. The staff was very friendly, even though they were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people if I had anything to suggest it would be to set up more small coffee tables outside..
google avatar

Jana R.

Yelp
genuinely what a wholesome place! i've always wanted to visit here, and it didn't disappoint. i had the coconut cake as well as a medium pot of their coffee and it was a great portion for both! so delicious, thumbs up! the staff are very kind and patient. ample seating if you come to study or work from home. it's so nice inside, i want to eat more pastries next time!

Yelp
I was so excited to go here and it definitely exceeded expectations!!! Beautiful interior, lovely service, amazing coffee
google avatar

Mariam S.

Yelp
The only bad thing is that some of the patrons are allowed to just park themselves for hours while others are searching for seats. But I get it, it is the hospitality of the business and they make you feel at home. The food, is absolutely delicious!! The service, the best have seen for a long time. The ambience, elegant and nicely done. I am Qamarian for life, can't get enough of the Adani Chai and milk cakes.

M P.

Yelp
So frustrated that I wasted my time coming here. NO AIR CONDITIONING!! It's hotter than hell. People had their shoes off and were rubbing their bare feet all over the seats. Gross! I could feel sweat trickling down my forehead. Never again will I come here.
google avatar

Rajaa C.

Yelp
Delicious food & coffee place for a chill laid back Middle Eastern setting! Felt like I was in the Middle East! Highly recommend!

Faria P.

Yelp
Had the chance to visit Qamaria's newest location in Culver City. It's in an absolutely great area. I loved the inside- it's 2 floors with a lot of seating. The ambiance is very fun and welcoming. I got the mango dragonfruit lemonade and biscoff milk cake during my visit, both tasted great. My personal favorite is the adeni chai (iced) & the rose milk cake, caramel ones good too.
google avatar

Jesse Jay H.

Yelp
Walking in this location it is super clean and nice! The staff are so welcoming and very helpful. Location is 2 stories so it definitely gives off the perfect vibe for coffee with friends. Excited to come back!

Yelp
Amazing yemeni coffee/tea shop/cafe with desserts. Located in culver city. Just opened. Finally a great night time coffee shop/cafe where the drinks/teas/coffees are amazing.
google avatar

Aalia F.

Yelp
Hi! I recently visited this coffee shop with my Dad. I thought the coffee was okay. I mostly came to try a new coffee place. The service was good. Most of the time, we were both there, it was pretty chill, quiet, and not too packed. We went on a Friday around brunch time. While I was there, I tasted cardamom in their coffee, and it was a pretty strong taste.
google avatar

Shahzeb A.

Yelp
My Gosh, let me start by saying, this is one of the most beautiful cafes I've ever laid eyes on, reminded me of the Middle East, back home. Brother Fahad our server and his wonderful staff did their very absolute best to serve me and family and he made sure along the way if we needed anything, the desserts, the adeni, the fatayer all to the point of saying ma Sha Allah, You're missing out, go now! JazakAllah khair Culver City crew!
google avatar

Martin K.

Yelp
What can I say? So happy this place opened up in Culver City. I've been a big fan since it's other locations in New York. I love that. It's open late. They even have a prayer room! Everything is fresh. The pistachio latte is amazing. Carrie latte is amazing and you must try their rose cake almost like a trace cheese, but with rose flavor, served Cold incredible
google avatar

Charlotte W.

Yelp
I'm so thrilled this place opened in my neighborhood! I love everything about it - the decor is lovely, the coffee and cakes delicious, and the multicultural vibe is great. LOVE that they are open late. This is already the new neighborhood hangout spot!

Elisabeth P.

Yelp
Always love to have a coffee shop to walk to, and especially excited about the late night hours! I happened to meet the owner who was very nice, and my drink was great! I'll be back!

Yelp
Me and my wife went here to check it out. Love the spot, the coffee food. Everything is amazing. The owner is fantastic. Super friendly. Nice environment has a very nice upstairs. A great spot to go. Get a good coffee and great spot to go. Study upstairs. Very clean, friendly environments. Service was top notch drinks were really interesting and flavorful. We'll definitely come back here I got the lots of she got the strawberry.

Vanesa C.

Yelp
So glad they opened one here in LA now I don't have to go to the OC for their tea! Definitely a must!

Yelp
I visited Qamaria Coffee Co. for the first time today after seeing on Yelp that they were pet-friendly. I brought my dog, and my two friends came along one with a beagle and the other with her one-year-old baby. We stood inside the establishment for over 15 minutes, placed our orders, interacted with the staff, and waited for our drinks. Not once did anyone mention that pets weren't allowed. After all that time, the owner suddenly approached us and said that dogs were not allowed inside. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since no one said anything earlier. If there's a strict no-pet policy, it should've been communicated clearly and immediately not after we'd already ordered and were waiting. To make matters worse, there was zero effort to accommodate us, even with a baby in our group and the cold weather outside. The two larger seating areas inside were taken up one by the owner and his friends, the other a paying customer and it felt like we were treated more like a nuisance than paying customers. When I expressed that I felt uncomfortable and that people were now staring at us, the owner dismissively said, "Who's staring at you?" I asked for a refund and didn't receive one. The staff offered the drinks complimentary, which my friends accepted, but I still didn't receive the refund. SUCH A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE FOR A FIRST TIME. This is more of a heads-up for anyone looking to visit with pets: this place is not pet-friendly, regardless of what their Yelp listing says. I left feeling embarrassed and extremely disappointed, and I won't be coming back.
