Recent Twin Cities Restaurant and Bar Openings, February 2025 | Eater Twin Cities

"Opening Saturday, February 15, this Yemeni coffee outpost will offer a variety of espresso beverages, including an espresso beverage called the Latte, made with steamed milk, a cardamom and cinnamon blend, and beans sourced from the Haraz region of Yemen. To eat, customers can enjoy specialties like the honeycomb pastry, consisting of cream cheese folded in bread with a choice of honey or condensed milk drizzle on top." - Serena Maria Daniels

The big selection of unique drinks and pastries was great. I tried the iced Qamaria latte, which had a perfect level of espresso, sweetness, and spices. The baklava was delicious too. The interior is cozy to work from the padded booths. There’s plenty of tables, and it got very busy after 11am. Staff was really friendly! The only con was the buzzers when orders were ready were frequently quite loud and distracting.

What an authentic experience. Gorgeous Yemen interior design. Great spot for getting some remote work done or meeting a friend for coffee. The coffee is the BEST in the region and their food is *chefs kiss.* i don't always grab a coffee, they offer macha and refreshers and smoothies - so plenty of options if you're hesitant. The baklava is necessary on your visit. Enjoy!

This place is honestly amazing! Their drinks are always so delicious and refreshing, and the pastries and desserts are simple but really tasty. Every time I come here and try something new, it never disappoints. The staff are super kind, patient, and friendly — they always make you feel welcome. The place is also very clean and cozy. I always love coming here in the evenings; the café feels extra warm and wonderful at that time. ☕💛

This was my first time visiting with my partner, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel special — especially Yusuf. We ordered a pistachio coffee, a strawberry matcha, and a pistachio chocolate-covered croissant. Everything was delicious — the drinks were crafted with care and perfectly balanced in flavor. To our surprise, Yusuf brought us a complimentary plate of Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries 🥹, which was such a thoughtful touch. We played Uno while enjoying our drinks (they offer other game options, too), making it such a fun and relaxing visit. The atmosphere is beautiful — a perfect blend of modern design with cultural elements. I highly recommend this spot to everyone and will definitely be returning with all of my family and friends! 🥰

First time there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They recommended ice qamaria latte (I think that's what it was) and it was so delicious! I have been thinking about getting another ever since. Also got the pistachio milk cake to go and that was pretty good and looked so pretty! Will be back soon!

I was particularly impressed by their exceptional drinks and cakes. The pistachio latte milk cake is my favorite and a true culinary delight, while the biscoff cake is also highly recommended, although its availability may be limited. My daughter loves their strawberry Dubai cups, always have to get one for her when I visit. The ambiance was pleasant and ideal for a leisurely coffee date. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the online ordering system. During my multiple orders, approximately three times, items I desired were either sold out or unavailable on the specified day. I was only made aware of these issues upon arriving to collect my order. Overall, the establishment is commendable, and both beverages and desserts are of excellent quality.

Tried the iced Qamaria latte and it was incredible, perfect balance of espresso, sweetness, and traditional Yemeni spices. Loved the depth of flavor and how unique it was. It’s the only spot around serving authentic Yemeni coffee, and it’s worth the visit. Cozy interior makes it a great place to work or study, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier.

Google
Bright open space with tons of seating, Qamaria is a great place to enjoy well-crafted drinks and delicious pastries. There are also outlets scattered around and wifi for those looking to work remotely. I got the Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Milk Cake. I really enjoyed both and would definitely try other options next time as well. There are two clean bathrooms available. Noise-wise, there wasn't any music playing when I came so it was pretty quiet at first. Eventually more people came in but it never got too loud.

Yelp
Stopped here to work for awhile and loved it. The art inside is great, the service was fast and I loved the unique Pistachio Latte. I saw that they had bakery items that looked delicious so I will have to try them next time. Plenty of shared parking outside in the shared lot. Conveniently located next to many other stores and the mall.

Yelp
Service: fast and friendly Ambiance: clean and cute inviting atmosphere Food: the honeycomb bread was very good! It was moist and a nice subtle sweet treat. The refresher was light and more like an iced fruit tea but tasty. I had a very nice experience and will have to o back to try more of their options!

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they had an Eden prairie location! The store has very generous seating with lots of outlets and board games, so I can see it becoming a prime study and hangout spot very quickly. We ordered several items, including to-go. In the evening there was a decent amount of stuff sold out, including the Dubai chocolate, but they have a pretty extensive selection. I did not see the strawberry Dubai parfait that's been circulating on social media, but it was on the online menu. Everything we tried was great and the pistachio cream cake, which had layers of light sponge and chocolate, was out-of-this-world! Ps- if you're unfamiliar with their equally extensive coffee and tea options, I highly suggest looking at the menu in advance!

Yelp
My coworkers and I stopped in for our morning beverages on a Thursday morning and were the only ones here! I ordered an iced date latte at the counter without any sweetener and I am glad I skipped the extra sweetener as the date latte was plenty sweet with the date syrup. Our drinks were rich and delicious. They went light on the ice, so next time I'd ask for some extra on the side to add back in as you drink your drink. The ambience is very comforting and cozy. They also have a whole bakery case of sweet & savory items to choose from. Next time I visit I will get some treats and report back!!

Yelp
This spot was peace! The atmosphere was relaxing, and welcoming. The food was delicious! And the service was up to par. Good place to go with the family, date, or even by yourself. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped in here on a random work day to check this place out. It's bright and clean, beautiful on the inside. We were greeted nicely at the counter as I ordered an abundance of pistachio flavored items, all of which were absolutely delicious! We will be back for sure!

Yelp
There is lots of very aesthetic seating to enjoy a coffee with a friend! My Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte was very creamy and frothy. The Strawberry Dragonfruit refresher was perfectly sweet. Both had very little ice, but I couldn't speak more highly of these drinks. However, the drinks took a significant amount of time and many items were sold out. The restrooms were in a disarray and one of them was un-usable.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Thursday morning at 8am before work and walked right up to the counter so no long lines get at this new spot. Highly recommend visiting as the decor is lovely and the staff are all super friendly. I got the Aden Shai Latte which was so yummy and I loved the rich flavor. The beautiful colorful booths are so comfy I felt like I could have sat there for hours. They also had so many yummy-looking pastries - we didn't get anything this time but I'll definitely be back to try them!

Yelp
Really enjoyed the Adani chai here--authentic and flavorful. The location is open and inviting, with plenty of parking available since it's in a convenient strip mall. Desserts were delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

Yelp
We fell in love with this matcha. It was super creamy and tasty. The fact that it's open until 1am gives us an excuse to come get more of this amazing drink!

Yelp
i come here ALL the time since moving over here and i mean like twice a week! what i've drank: (iced with oat milk) - pistachio latte. the first time i came here i got this and it completely changed my life. i had never tried a pistachio latte before, but it was the best latte i've ever had. the coffee was nutty (which i prefer), not bitter or smokey. - pistachio, strawberry, and regular matcha latte. i LOVE these matchas - pistachio taking the top. however, the more i get them, the more I feel like there is way too much sweetener, but i'm sure they can modify upon request. im curious tho what matcha they use and if they use strawberry milk in the strawberry one, which I would hope it wasnt pre-made for the lactose intolerant peoples sake. NOMd: - meat pie. a little dry but decent flavors that arent too bold. good for picky/ bland eaters. the dough was nice and plump not flakey. - pistachio & biscoff tres leches. both were mild in flavor, so if you're looking for heavy condensed milk, look elsewhere. tres leches is my fav so i'm picky. I would give it 2.5 noms out of 5. - mini dubai chocolate cup. we were really excited to try this since dubai chocolate has been the rave. we got the mini reeses cup version since the bars were sold out which was honestly better bc it was way too rich for both of us. I could only take one bite and my stomach hurt. the green inside was so good tho, i would get it if there was more filling and just a drizzle of chocolate. we were both happy to try it, but neither of us would get it again. - biscoff cheesecake. i fear i'm turning into a cheesecake lover bc wow this was super good. my stomach defintely hurt, but worth it. best thing i've nomd here so far. service, etc: the staff are always nice and happy to serve. i will say the women are on it with taking orders, as some of the guys are slow to get to you and don't always acknowledge you right away even if they walk right passed you and the register. i love the seating here with outlets at almost every table and a variety of comfort. the wifi works great but the music is a gamble. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. i knocked one star bc they only offer 1 size (16oz) for the iced lattes, which is a lot and wish they offered at least 12 oz.

Yelp
Delicious! Looking forward to a return visit. Had pistachio latte which was great but next time I'll try something more traditional.

Yelp
I was looking for a cute spot to meet a friend and found it! Coffee was delicious, I got the pistachio latte and also couldn't resist a chocolate chip cookie. Service was amazing and love the colorful seating area!

Yelp
The first time I went it was fantastic. The second time, I ordered the standard Turkish, which I have had multiple times in the Middle East. This was substandard. It was a different barista, and they seemed not to know what Turkish coffee is. They filled two dallahs with my coffee and said it made so much they needed two, so I knew something was wrong. It was thin and devoid of mud (the thick sediment) at the bottom. I suspect it was just a plain coffee served in the dallahs instead of properly brewed in them until it thickens. I will go back. The milk pastries are sensational. But next time I will be very careful with my coffee order.
