Omg their Qamaria iced coffee is so good! Came back twice in one day!! Their pastries are also pretty good, and they also make Kunafa chocolate (it’s all over tik tok) This has become my number 1 coffee shop! Def recommend!

Chris Peavy

Google
The Qamaria lattes were delicious. Relaxing atmosphere. Great service. Great coffee spot overall. Good choice if you want to switch up your regular coffee spots and try something new

Google
Vibe- Very nice coffee shop with sooooo much seating inside and outside! There’s a Yemen (West Asia origin; I read coffee has been brewed there more than 500 years!) Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got a matcha latte with oatmilk and a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso; they were both delicious :) Parking- There’s plenty of parking in the lot the shop sits in

This Yemeni coffee shop boasts a diverse range of flavors that truly captivate the taste buds. From robust Cadamom to subtle Pistacho notes, each sip is a delightful journey through Yemen's rich coffee heritage. The distinctiveness of the flavors sets this coffee shop apart, providing a unique and memorable experience for coffee enthusiasts.

Google
Coffee was great! I had a Pistachio Latte, which had an amazing flavor. The Caramel milk cake was also incredibly creamy and delicious! Other snacks were also ok. The environment was also very calm and nice, great place to sit down with friends and relax. 4 stars only because prices were very high, more than needed.

Our new favorite hangout place. Always great coffee and service. Lots of positive vibes as you walk in...

Google
Very nice customer service with a very lovely atmosphere. I wish the food was as good, though. Had Lotus Creme cake, Honeycomb, rose milk cake, and cake pops. They were all okay, but they lacked flavor. Overall rating for my experience is 4/5.

Google
Soooo good!! Coffee is fantastic. Maybe most importantly though, I have a new favorite cookie. This is B I G!! The Date Pistachio cookie is so soft and so delicious!! Service is awesome. Atmosphere is as good as you can get in a coffee shop.

Yelp
Five stars for absolutely delicious food. I came in specifically to try the milk cake and the staff recommended the biscoff flavor. We also ordered a meat sambossa. I didn't see food prices posted anywhere but the total came out to $9-10 for both. The service here was fine, no complaints. On a Tuesday late morning, there were ample tables and seating for us. The thematic music and beautiful mural at the back of the building tied the ambiance together. We waited a little longer than expected for our disc to vibrate and then picked up our order at the counter, which was served on a wooden tray. Between our round wooden coffee table, the rectangular wooden tray, the square dishes, and the triangular sambossa and square slice of milk cake, I have to say Qamaria made it impossible not to get an IG-worthy picture. The sambossa was worth the wait. It was warmed up through and through and the outside was crispy. The staff said the meat was beef. I would definitely order it again when I'm in the mood for a savory snack. As for the biscoff milk cake, it was exactly what I was imagining, like a lighter tres leches. The cake was perfectly saturated and the majority of the sweetness was coming from the whipped cream. I'm not sure if I tasted much of the biscoff flavor but this was deliciously light. I'm ordering the rose or pistachio milk cake next time. They also had caramel, chocolate, and Oreo milk cakes available today. The 4.7 star rating did not disappoint. Definitely give Qamaria a try when you're in the area.

Yelp
Stepping into Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is like being transported into a cozy, aromatic haven where the passion for coffee is palpable. My recent visit to this charming spot was nothing short of delightful, particularly thanks to their iced mufawaar and iced qamaria latte. Both drinks were impeccably prepared, showcasing a strong but pleasantly harmonious cardamom flavor that immediately sets them apart from your run-of-the-mill coffee offerings. It's clear that Qamaria takes pride in their unique blends, paying homage to Yemeni traditions with a modern twist. But the experience doesn't stop at coffee. The array of tres leches cake flavors is a testament to their commitment to variety and quality. Each flavor is more tempting than the last, making it almost impossible to choose just one. And it's not just about the tres leches; their selection of other cakes is equally impressive, ensuring there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The ambiance of Qamaria Yemeni Coffee, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, makes it a must-visit spot for coffee aficionados and casual cafe-goers alike. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing iced coffee on a warm day, or you're looking to indulge in delectable desserts, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee promises an unforgettable experience. It's clear that this isn't just a coffee shop; it's a celebration of culture, quality, and the simple joy of enjoying a great cup of coffee.

Yelp
If you come here I'd definitely recommend the iced Adeni, especially if you like iced chais. The barista was really nice and helped me decide what to get! The inside ambiance is really calm and the decor is nice as well. There are different types of seating for whatever you're there for. Overall great place to study, catch up with friends, or just read a book on your own.

Yelp
I had the pistachio latte and their specialty cheesecake. Latte was delicious. Creamy. The cheesecake tasted like regular plain cheesecake. The topping had no flavor. Service was fast and friendly

Yelp
I came to Qamaria one evening during a recent visit with my friend and it was great. i know Yemeni tea/coffee is a big deal in Houston and I completely understand why. First of all, the decor is absolutely beautiful upon entering and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and made some recommendations for us to try as well. We ended up ordering the Adeni chai and split a slice of pistachio milk cake. Drinking that chai was super nostalgic for me as I grew up drinking chai just like that. The cake was super moist, light, and not overly sweet. I wish I could have tried the coffee but I had an early flight the next morning. I will definitely try it out on my next visit though!

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance that is calming and warm. The staff are so knowledgeable about the teas and coffees in addition to what desserts pair nicely with what. I got the pistachio latte and it was DIVINE. Not overly sweet with a subtle nutty-ness that you crave on a cold morning. Also tried the rose cake as well as the samosa and date cake. PERFECTION. What's in the paper bag? Date cookies, of course!

Dayanara A.

Yelp
Visiting some relatives in Katy, my mom could not stop raving about this place until we finally stopped by this morning before we left back home-and let me just say- I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND why she would be freaking out. Immediately as I stepped foot into the café the ambiance was nothing short of exquisite. Immediately greeted by the nicest employee on the planet, my eyes darted around to admire the cultural decor and relish in the chill vibes. There were plenty of menu items and selection of pastries and breakfast items to choose from. My mom recommended the iced qamaria latte, infused with a unique blend of spices mellowed out by a hint of caramel. I did ask for it half-sweet though, to be able to really enjoy the flavor of the spices. The wonderful employee described every pastry item when I had a question about the flavor of a slice of cake, settling on one of her favorites- the caramel milk cake, and a slice of the date cake. When I sat down to wait for my order, there were some really interesting facts about the significance of Yemen in the history of coffee! I picked up my order and upon the first sip I was TRANSCENDED into a flavor my simpleton brain could only FATHOM. The spices mixed with the richness of the coffee and the sweetness of the caramel were a combination only possibly conjured in heaven. I would 100% recommend it, it's worth the extra buck. You'll never go back to ordinary chain coffee, and honestly? The coffee beans themselves-the espresso- was so much better than lots of locally owned coffee shops that I've been to. The caramel milk cake-although quite a bit sweet due to the caramel topping, something the employee warned me about- was PERFECTLY mellowed out by the moist, milky, and airy cake underneath. It did remind me of tres leches, actually! And boy, have I not had it in a while, so it put a smile on my face. The date cake was AMAZING. Not too sweet, coupled with a rich caramel tasting frosting and a little date lodged atop. I just don't know how to describe it, but the cake was rich and velvety, and paired with the sweet and creamy frosting it was just perfect. Maybe I just woke up on the right side of the bed today, but everything was perfect! As a registered coffee lover, my heart was touched, and my tummy was happy!

Yelp
I come here quite often since they're grand opening and bring my coffee addict family members to this location in Aliana. Great local cafe with modern atmosphere yet the culture of Qamaria. Perfect for solo for studying (morning to midday), coffee date, and group hangout cafe. Service will vary. It's not busy in the morning compare to night time, despite the day you go. It's a shame that most customers don't know how to clean up after themselves, especially the big groups at night. Pistachio milk cake is my least favorite but that's just a personal preference. Honeycomb was mediocre the very first time when I got it to go. However, it's delicious when you eat it at the cafe since they warm it up for you. That makes a difference in the world! It's sweet but not crazy sweet for an Asian girl. Perfect combination with any coffee. Affagato is great if you want ice cream with expresso. Qamaria iced latte (with less sugar) is my to go to, especially if it's errand day. Turkish coffee is another favorite for those who enjoy bold, strong coffee like my cousin's girlfriend and I. Perfect for the colder days as it warms you up but be warned, it is an acquired taste. Don't be shy, give it a try!

Yelp
Tried the iced pistachio latte. Was delicious! Would love to come back and try some hot coffee and other things on the menu. The service was good, very polite and made good recommendations for a first timer.

Yelp
When I'm feeling for a latte local this is my go to. Needed to switch the scenery up from working through the weekend, decided to grab a latte at Qamaria and sit inside and work for a few hours. Planning to try something different this evening, I ordered an iced matcha latte. The young lady taking my order asked if I wanted normal sugar levels with my drink or less. I smiled because that was definitely going to be my request, the drinks I've had in the past are always on the sweet side. This evening I was going to remember though, probably because I was in there early in the week. Found a table, pulled out my laptop and headphones (you'll need something noise cancellation if you're trying to work) . This place was booming non stop the entire evening. It didn't stop me from getting my work completed while enjoying a great drink. There is outdoor seating, depending on your heat tolerance you may want to try that when the weather cools down. Most certainly will be back for my normal to go orders and if I want to get some work done and not travel far from the house.

Yelp
This place is quite cute inside! I ordered an iced pistachio latte with oat milk as well as a slice of Lotus Biscoff cookie milk cake and both were very delicious! The latte wasn't super sweet, so it was the perfect balance of coffee & sweetness for me. And then the cake? Omg it was divine. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Yelp
Finally tried this coffee shop after seeing it for 1 month by what felt like everyone! This is a cute spot and has really good coffee that will definitely keep you awake. I tried their iced pistachio latte with 1 shot of espresso (normally comes with 2) as I've heard their coffees tend to keep you awake. It was super sweet but great if you like pistachio flavoring. Their iced Qumaria Latter was delicious too! It had cardamom and cinnamon which was a great pairing. I will have to do this in my normal coffee! We paired it with their biscoff cheesecake which was . I love some good thick caramel and anything with biscoff is obviously great, no? I also really liked how they have little fun facts about the coffee as part of decor .
google avatar

Humairaa A.

Yelp
Great cheesecakes! Their adeni chai is very strong. Not a lot of seating inside, it can get congested. The service is wonderful, they are welcoming and quick with preparing orders. In regards to drinks, they are not always consistent with sweetness in their coffees, however that is an easy fix.

Yelp
All I have to say is, WOW! This was my first time trying coffee & pastries from Yemen so I did not know what to expect but we had a phenomenal experience. From the customer service to the coffee and food, I truly enjoyed it all and can't wait to come back. 5/5 I loved it!!

Yelp
Aliana area! You finally have a fabulous coffee shop of the upmost quality! Qamaria is absolutely fabulous, I am literally writing this review as I sip on a delicious coffee, have a belly full of cheesecake, and take advantage of their Wi-Fi. Yup, Qamaria has it all, not to mention, that they close at 11pm. Finally! I've been looking for a coffee shop in the area that stays open past 9pm, Qamaraia, you've answered my prayers. The original owners of this shop are from Yemen (they have locations in Texas, Michigan and Illinois). You can definitely feel the awesome Yemeni vibes once you step foot in the shop. From the designs on the wall and the music playing on the speakers, you'll get a great middle eastern feel. I ordered an iced Pistachio Latte (7 bucks) , and a cheesecake (6 bucks). Deliciousness all around! The latte was perfectly smooth, with beautiful colors, and a neat mix of pistachio I've never had at any shop before. The cheesecake was absolute perfection as well, every bite was great, not too sweet, and blessed with a cookie on top. I'll definitely have to return and get a teapot, everyone around the shop had one, and I can't be left out. With plenty of seating inside and outside, Wi-Fi, and good service, I think I've found a new spot to study and work. Two thumbs up to Qamaria!

Yelp
First time trying a Yemeni food/drink place and really enjoyed it. We got coffee, samosas, along with different cakes. Really love how relaxed this place is. Also it should say something when people from that region also dine in, it's definitely authentic! The samosas were my favorite. It's hard to choose which cake is the best because they were all great!

Yelp
This place is underrated. I've been here twice and I DREAM about the honey bread. Soooo addictive and delicious. I've also tried the date cookies and pistachio milk bread. EVERYTHING is bang!!!! The service is really great. The Young kids in the summer were pleasant and respectful. The service is a bit slow of you need the goods warmed. But trust me it's worth the wait. The ambiance and decor is honestly almost over the tip gorgeous. Love this spot! My post work treat! Final grade: A+

Yelp
Big fan of the tea here! I like the Adeni chai, and the desserts according to my brother are pretty good. My brother enjoyed the Biscoff Cheesecake and the Pistachio latte. I do wish the Adeni chai had ginger though. I like the vibes of the place and the employees are really nice and patient. I hope they open another location within Sugar Land itself so I don't have to drive so long.

Yelp
Busy Yemeni coffee shop deep in the burbs. We had the Adeni tea, muwafer coffee, pistachio milk cake, and honey bread. Everything we had was good but the honey bread was the best. Sadly, we got up to order more to take home and someone took all our good food and drinks away. We had only taken a few bites of the cake and bread and both our drinks were hot and full. Suggestion for management to train staff to not trash full trays because the customers might be ordering more stuff.

Yelp
Been wanting to try for a while so finally got to it! I got the ice pistachio latte, Turkish coffee, iced latte with oak milk, and pistachio milk cake. It is a bit pricier than chain coffee places but it's unique in the area. I did like the Turkish coffee and iced latte. The pistachio milk cake was also good and not too sweet. The person helping me out seems to be new but she was patience literally naming all the cakes they had available. Not supposed to be eating/drinking anything milk now but I couldn't resist! They also got some cheesecake varieties. I want to try everything! There is no rewards point at this time though but the staff says they are working on it. The place is spacious and clean. It was a nice place to sit and chill. They also have tables outside. I find this place lovely.

Yelp
I LOVED IT I was waiting for them to open for a month & finally was able to check out during late night Ramadan hours. The lines are insanely long after 8pm due to the rush coming in. We got lucky but still had a long wait. We went in for the famous Knafeh cheesecake (DO NOT RECOMMEND! It wasn't at all like a Knafeh with cheesecake like we expected. NO flavor or taste), Pistachia milk cake (OMG HAVE TO GET THIS! So moist, soft & flavorful. Very light!), we also got the honeycomb (4/5 the cake is so yummy & moist but the oddly paired topping on it was not good at all threw it off). Then we opted for the Mufawaar & loved it! So delicious, bold & the cardamom was perfect. I highly recommend coming here when it's not packed! This is my NEW go to spot for sure close to home.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Cool looking coffee shop! Got the iced Aden and the iced qamaria latte! They were solid but wished it was solid! Next time, we really want to try their desserts. They look so good!
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
Nice place. I enjoy their iced latte. Had their milk cake. Great hours and their patrons are also kind and courteous. Late at night it gets so loud poor dudes from behind the counter have to yell until their voice is hoarse your number. Lack of visible trash cans easily though. WiFi is super unstable. I'll come back and give it a full 5 stars if they can fix their Internet stability
google avatar

Coleen G.

Yelp
I had coffee here and the biscotti cake. The decor has so much character in it and so worth coming with friends here. I recommend the iced pistachio and the biscotti cake. The service was good.

Yelp
I love finding unique, local places like this one! And the authentic Yemen treats, drinks and music plus the inside/outside seating areas makes it a cool place to chill any time of day. I tried the traditional Aden Shai Latte (black tea) w oat milk and some Yemen desserts. Yum. I will have to remember this place in the evenings when all other coffee shops seem to close!

Shilpa G.

Yelp
Great vibes and nice baristas! It's a nice shop to sit and chat or a place to study and do homework. I love that they have non-dairy options. My soy hazelnut latte was awesome!

Yelp
Beautiful space and the pistachio latte was divine. The service was spectacular. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was my first time at this café. I enjoyed the coffee it was very good. The honey comb was also good but very sweet and the croissant was the main thing I came there for and it was stale and extremely hard to eat. I genuinely couldn't bite into it. The service was good. The setting in the place was nice it was chill and cozy but if i were to come back i will never be getting the croissant again.
google avatar

Dina S.

Yelp
I actually ended up picking a random cold drink off the menu and it ended up being one of the best drinks I've had. I ordered the Aden! So good & great vibes inside!
google avatar

Yelp
We tried the iced Pistachio latte, affogato, honeycomb, and a cake pop. My iced Pistachio was a dream come true. The honeycomb was a tasty dessert. My spouse loved her affogato. My son ate the cake pop so fast. No complaints from any of us. Everything was yummy. Wonderful atmosphere and service as well.

Yelp
Great spot. Came here for a late night Ramadan coffee spot and it was packed but for good reason. Service was great, food was good, and the vibe here is really nice. I think if you're looking for a good place to study in the day and enjoy a cup of coffee this place is it. The deserts are delicious too.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I came in to order an ice coffee with cream (Iced Mufawaar), and I loved it. The coffee has a citrus-ey taste, which could just be from the cardamom. I also asked the barista if she could recommend a ground coffee for making cold brew at home. She suggested a medium coffee, "Ancient Ma'rib" and it's WONDERFUL. This reminds me of chai lattes with a shot of espresso - but I have never liked those. This tastes much better. Very flavorful, citrus and spice notes. If you like lots of flavor notes, chai, spices, etc - you will like this.
google avatar

Brandon V.

Yelp
Coffee is pretty good I do love the indoors arrangement. The employees are pretty well knowledgeable with their menu (of course). Would come back here to try out other pastries and coffee.

Yelp
We love the place, ambiance . So happening when ever we go there coffee's dessert everything taste great

Cristopher O.

Yelp
Best coffee, open late! you might want to ask for no ice and ice at home they don't have more than one size but definitely give Qamaria a try you won't be disappointed!

H K.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, desserts are out of this world, though the cheesecake kunafa could have had more crunch, service is unparalleled the hostess was very informative and helpful. The ambiance was a bit the sound of a busy coffee shop. Really enjoyed my time there and looking forward to being back again to try more traditional Yemeni coffee!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the products offered by Qamaria Yemeni Coffee, and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is not only professional but also genuinely friendly. They took the time to answer all of my questions and provide expert guidance, which immediately put me at ease. The quality of their products is second to none. I purchased Adeni Latte, and it exceeded my expectations. It's clear that Qamaria Yemeni Coffee takes great pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail. What truly sets this business apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Their after-sales service is remarkable, and they stand by their products with confidence. In addition to the outstanding products and service, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee has a unique charm that's hard to find in larger corporate stores. They are deeply rooted in the community. This dedication to community involvement only enhances their reputation in my eyes.

Scherai B.

Yelp
Great coffee shop! The coffee is great, the openness of the seating is a plus and the service is good. I had to grab my coffee and bake goods to go. However next time I will seat and enjoy the atmosphere. If you are in the area why not stop here you can Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks some other time.
google avatar

Derek G.

Yelp
Great place to go to capture a Arabian coffee house experience with some awesome traditional Yemani recipes. The coffees are all good with the mufawaar being one of my favorites! The desserts are exactly what you would expect and are super tasty.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Cute little place. Cake and drinks were good. Kind of noisy though if you want to study or work. If you want to hang out, it is good.

Juwayriah W.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to study with a good variety of seating (lounge/beanbag/tables.) The coffee tastes AMAZING every time I go. And staff is great at maintaining cleanliness.

Yelp
Always love your food, tea superb, honey comb bread my all time favorite, the ambiance , the crowd love, love

Yelp
The iced coffee was so good. Stick with the classics for dessert like kanafe. The tea was also very good!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! Very cute interior and ambience, and a nice selection of drinks to choose from. My server was friendly, and answered the questions I had about some of the pastries. In the end I ordered the Aden Shai & A piece of honeycomb cake. The honeycomb cake was delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy a sweet craving, but not send your pancreas into spasms My drink was served to me blazing hot, so hot I couldn't even hold the cup with a cup holder. I don't know if that level of heat was really necessary, but once my tea had cooled off, I was able to drink it and discover it was probably one of the best cups of tea I have ever had! I would definitely come back here without hesitation to try more of their drinks and pastries. (I took my order to go as there were quite a few people there, as well as lots of noisy children. I would love to sit here and enjoy my drink next time, but maybe when the place is a little more empty and quiet )
google avatar

Yelp
amazing flavor of coffee. the Qamaria latte was so delicious and tasted authentic. i'd also highly recommend the rose milk cake. staff was prompt and friendly.
google avatar

Angie G.

Yelp
Too aromatic due to cardamom in the coffee for my taste. So no for me. I will though return to try more things. What put me off was the strong cologne smell by the people at front I'm guessing. I have no idea if it was the customers sitting next to me or the employees that had a HUGE amount of cologne and not pleasant while drinking coffee. It was too strong to even sit down and enjoy coffee. The ambient is cute and spacious and coffee was indeed not bitter but strong cardamom notes overpowering.

Yelp
What a great new coffee house! The coffee, food, and service are excellent, and their hours are much longer than any other coffee shops in the area. It's decorated beautifully, has an outdoor area with pretty lights, and they have free Wi-Fi. (Note: the coffee is STRONG. That's a plus for me, but you can ask for fewer shots if you want.)
