A Delightful Vegetarian Experience
Our dinner at Qb duepuntosero in Salò was a delightful experience, enhanced by its picturesque location at the port overlooking Lake Garda. We opted for the vegetarian menu, which was a fantastic choice.
The meal began with a corn cannolo filled with smoked aubergine, confit datterini tomatoes, and straciatella cheese drizzled with olive oil. The combination of flavors was superb and set a high standard for the rest of the evening.
The second dish, Gnocchi with wild herbs and toasted almonds, was equally impressive. The gnocchi were perfectly cooked and the wild herbs added a fresh, aromatic touch. The toasted almonds provided a pleasing crunch, making it a well-balanced dish.
The main course was a creative masterpiece: a low-temperature cooked egg with mushrooms and truffle. The richness of the truffle and the earthiness of the mushrooms complemented the perfectly cooked egg, resulting in a fantastic dish that was both flavorful and innovative.
Overall, Qb duepuntosero offers a memorable dining experience with its excellent vegetarian options and beautiful setting. While it deserves a solid 4 stars, a touch more refinement in service could elevate it to a 5-star experience. Nonetheless, it's a wonderful choice for a special evening in Salò.
