I come to this QFC almost every day and often shop at the meat market. On 08/22/25 around 6:20 PM, I went to the counter and waited while the employee, Jon, was wiping down some boards in the back. I stood there for a while before saying hello, and he replied that he was busy cleaning.
I completely understand the importance of cleaning, but as a customer, I expect at least to be acknowledged and helped in a timely manner. Instead, I felt ignored, which came across as rude. Customers are here to buy products, and service should be a top priority.
This is not my first negative encounter with Jon—he often seems bothered by working here, sometimes closing early or showing reluctance to assist customers. If I were management, I would provide him with additional customer service training, as this behavior leaves a poor impression of the store.
