I will never set foot in this store again. I have lived here in Kirkland for over 40 years and have been going to the Totem Lake QFC almost as long. The last few years have been continually getting worse in customer service, produce selection, open registers, helpful staff, and self-checkout issues. I just spent over 35 minutes buying 3 lemons and a stalk of celery because there were 10 people waiting for over-crowded self-checkout booths, all with loaded carts because out of the 5 checkout lanes available only ONE was open. Sunday afternoon, loads of people in line and only ONE register open. When I asked why I was told in a hushed tone 'someone called in sick'. A single person would NOT have solved the problem. I asked to speak to the manager and a person with no badge or identification approached me, identified himself as the manager. He listened to my concerns and unhappiness about waiting so long and the response was an apathetic shrug and a mumbled 'sorry for the service', after which he walked away. Service at this store is the absolute worst. Nobody there appears to care about their job, and certainly nobody cares about you.

Google
Good store with so good fresh groceries, really good fresh fruits, veggies and other items. Quality, and freshness are always top level here , but their fresh produce section is so small I would consider tiny, and the selections are very limited. And the prices I would consider it is only for customers with so much money. The prices here for the fresh produce will break the average normal person budget. But then there are really good prices on sale items. Non sale items prices are barley tolerable, and will dent your bank account in a big way. Nice clean organized store. Customer service has improved alot especially casheirs. Casheirs are friendly , helpful and show attentiveness to customers ., they are fast knowledgeable, and caring. I think the management here have made alot of beautiful, good changes, and it showes. Thank you Shopping here becomes enjoyable I noticed they did bring different casheirs. Those casheirs are younger, friendlier, faster, and treat customers better. Convenient location Crowded, and very busy parking lot

Good produce and floral departments. Definitely sign up for an advantage card for discounts, digital coupons and fuel points. There is a Fred Meyer gas station within a mile of this QFC to utilize/redeem fuel points.

Google
This qfc is nice and clean and workers are friendly but I'm giving it it 5 starts because of an employee that made my day, I was struggling with the apple pay, and a worker. Named Sakeena was helping me, my phone was just not working, she then swiped HER r phone to pay. I was shocked! I told her to please let me venmo her and she smiled and said no thank you just pay it forward, the women did not stutter! my jaw was on the floor, I seriously thought she was an angel ,I've never seen someone so perfect also be so nice, she seemed so powerful Today Is the next day and im still thinking about her, so I'm writing this review, I hope qfc takes good care of her, If you see a beautiful lady named sakeena show her some love! And pay it forward, xoxo

Google
Way over priced and rude the security hassles me every time I go there and I’ve never once stolen anything from this store or any others. But because I have long hair and wear jeans and have a back pack they pick me as a stupid booster. I only go here when I absolutely have too

Lacks and behind other QFC stores in Kirkland. Produce often old. Basics like garlic, cilantro not available.

Google
Actually I'd give it a 4.6. I've shopped here for a dozen years, (and another location for 20 yrs before that), which I think is a pretty good review in itself 😊 It's a large store, and if you can't find it here (or a different brand), I'd be surprised. Extensive deli, produce, and wine, frozen goods, meat/fish - both butcher counter and packaged products, and well stocked shelf goods. Their produce seems well above average quality, with a large selection, including organic options. Lots of coupons, including in-store "Use this coupon 5 or more times on similarly marked items" for lowest price (s), "Buy…or more" reduced prices, which I've used many times. Good bakery - buy my favorite bread here. Small florist, but appears well stocked. I've used their pharmacy for many years; knowledgeable - and friendly staff, excellent service. Their retail pharmacy section is small, but all the common items. The staff is uniformly friendly, and helpful, which goes a long way in the loyalty department. In the past I've heard opinions that their prices were higher than the usual competition, but since I rarely shop anywhere else I can't offer an informed opinion. I do save many hundreds of $ yearly by using coupons, in store specials, and waiting for desired items to be on sale and stocking up.

11pm Friday the 7th of February and Gavin at the self-checkout saved my day! Thanks, Gavin!!! Excellent employee, QFC higher-ups take notice! 😁🤙

Yelp
Right now it is 9:41 pm I have been frequently visiting toilet . At 2 pm I ate a small size lentil soup sitting by the window side which made me very sick now not only this I ordered 8 OZ spike Starbucks coffee no sugar no cream and right behind me there is a rack for coffee and I just grabbed it then started to read it's expired and I told the dud who brewed my coffee then left with my cup of coffee next I called the manager office and a lady picked up the phone and told me that he is on lunch finally I told her that he needs to know what is going on here. I am writing this because I have a social responsibility and please Just avoid using place until...

Yelp
love this store. always stocked and the employees are great. i Find it odd they lock up their electrolyte solution pedialyte and such . I guess they get that stolen. A nice older guy who works there helped and showed me and alternative the pharmacy area. Electrolyte sports drink. I chose my first option a little Riley but worth it. All and all good experience.

Louis M.

Yelp
The butcher shop doesn't know the difference between a butt roast, a shoulder roast, and a blade pork roast. The butt roast and blade roast are two parts of the shoulder roast. The butt roast is used for pulled pork, which they did not indicate on any of the pork roasts. I had to go to Fred Meyer to get a butt roast that was appropriately identified. I have pulled pork forever, but the lack of knowledge in the butcher department was significant and as a result, I will not be shopping here anymore.

Yelp
Really impressed by my Totem Lake QFC. Parking can be a bit of a hassle but I'm willing to overlook this barrier just because of the shopping experience. Not only do I frequent this location for my daily groceries but I've used the pharmacy to get my free flu shot (covered by my insurance). Majority of the employees I have interacted with have great customer service, which is so important and does not go unnoticed- so thank you!! I really appreciate this business providing senior hours for those who may have older adults in their family, as well as the covid hygiene standards QFC has implemented. Thank you QFC!

Yelp
KROGER has become as GREEDY as GREEDY gets! I HIGHLY DISLIKE shopping here anymore. Their prices (in general) could not be MORE GOUGED! It is my belief that while inflation is still with us, CORPORATIONS like QFC, INCLUDING SAFEWAY have become OUT Of CONTROL with their PRICE GOUGING. The price HIKES are INSANE. And then they try to get you with MARKING the PRICES WAY UP & THEN putting that product on "Sale." That's the OLDEST TRICK in the book KROGER! Oh, and thanks for being the ONLY grocery store that I am aware of who CHARGES for getting cash back. It NOW has gone up to .75 cents from .50 cents if you want to get cash back. REALLY KROGER?? You don't make enough money per year?? YES, they DO! I WISH there was a WINCO in the area, where PRICES are ACTUALLY FAIR! And by the way, I referenced Safeway earlier, they are becoming as BAD at PRICE GOUGING as KROGER!

Chelsea A.

Yelp
This store is small. If you are looking for a specific item, especially a harder to find item, they might not have it. If I need something simple, like sparkling water or coffee creamer it's a great place to run in and grab. Parking is easy as well. I don't do my full grocery shopping here due to prices and selection.

Mark M.

Yelp
I'm over 65 years old and was told it is QFC's policy to scan my driver's license for any beer or wine purchases. I told the cashier there is too much personal information on my driver's license and I would not be buying any wine or shopping there again. His response was company policy, not my problem. Great customer service! What are they using this information for? Another cybersecurity issue in my opinion. Don't shop QFC.

Kath P.

Yelp
I like being able to get in and out if QFC quickly. Depending on the store, it can either be small and rather lacking in specialty stuff or a bigger one that can fill all your needs. And you get Fred Meyer fuel points, too! Always clean. If you want a fun excursion, go to the QFC on Dravis just south of the Ballard bridge. It's crazy small, like teeny weeny hobbit sized, and it's amazing to see how much product they can get on the shelves.

Eva M.

Yelp
Adding a separate note to give a shout-out to this QFC for having a fruit snack area for the kids. Kudos!

Alley C.

Yelp
Dropped half the contents of my purse out on accident, someone turned it all in to the front desk My favorite thing here is the deli! Their sandwiches are phenomenal, always fresh and amazing. The staff is also incredibly kind and quick. I love the selection offered here. Easily one of my favorite QFC locations in all of Washington.

Amanda N.

Yelp
This QFC is conveniently located. I love looking through the wines as they always have a nice selection and a discount on 6 bottles. I do find that the produce is generally more expensive than other grocery stores in the area.

Sara V.

Yelp
I enjoy this QFC. It's open 24/7, close to where I live, and the cashiers are always really friendly. They're down-to-Earth and will remember you. I haven't ever dealt with the pharmacy area, though, so I can't speak for them. The clearance section is top-notch. I've gotten Gevalia coffee for 75% off just because someone dropped the unopened bag on the floor and it got kicked around a little. This store will put anything on clearance. It's awesome. I'm not someone who is desperate but I love saving money and I try to pop in here as much as possible, even if just for a few minutes, to check out the clearance.

Yelp
On September 12, 2019, Kyle, a grocery clerk at Qfc in Totem Lake , has to be the kindest, most positive, employee At QFC! Their computer system is not up to date and he is always right there , one step ahead of the customer ,taking care of the credit with minimum hassle!!This is because he has taken the time to study the ads prior to coming on shift!!!!!!Too BAD,from the CEO down at Kroger, they can't follow his lead!!!!hat's off to you Kyle!! On April 15, 2020 , Lori, head of the floral department ,helped me with the starter plants for my spring plantings. She exchanged some very sad little pansies that I didn't expect to get credit for, which was a very pleasant surprise!Qfc has always been a store above the norm, and Lori proved that once again! Five stars for Lori!!!

Emily P.

Yelp
There is an employee named Joe at the sushi bar/prepped food area who deserves props and a raise. I ran in before work looking for the veggie bowl that is usually stocked, and there were none out. When I asked Joe if he would be putting more out, he immediately offered to make me one on the fly with brown rice (its usually quinoa). He went above and beyond to help me, and did so with a friendly smile. My lunch was absolutely delicious, and his small kindness made my day.

Becky S.

Yelp
Usually this is a halfway decent grocery store, but on a Friday night when I'm in a hurry, I had to ask the two deli workers who were chatting amongst themselves for help. Then I go to wait in check out line to discover that they only have the express open and my only other alternative is the self service, which I hate! If I had a few items fine, but a grocery cart full of items, not so much. Took forever, bags are so cheap they split on the way up my steps. So much for my $5.00 strawberries Great way to save a few dollars in payroll, management team! I should have just gone a little further to Safeway or Haggens where they know how to take care of the customer!

Kathryn O.

Yelp
Had a great experience here, lots of options but price is high hence the only 4 star review. Employees were friendly and seemed to actually enjoy their jobs. I had a great experience with Alyssa who manned the self checkout aisle. She made me laugh and smile all while dealing with a very beep happy machine. I will be back!!

Daniel S.

Yelp
Definitely not the nicest Qfc around, but the meat and fresh produce is always better than Safeway. For being located on the Eastside, I was disappointed. I used to live near the Westwood Village location, and that was a better store considering the area that it was in.

Yelp
**** (Just to make sure, this review is for the QFC Store in Totem Lake): I have NEVER felt welcomed walking into this store. I have been shopping here too long (3 years now). Once in a 'blue moon,' there will be a nice person who seems helpful. Unfortunately, this experience is not very common. As it is, I recently went to the seafood department, and the person behind the counter was Not too nice. I had asked him for a simple request, and he SHAMED me with this TONE and reply. This to me is unacceptable. Then, not long after, I asked a different person who looked like a manager where I might be able to find a certain product. I could tell immediately that he FELT like I interrupted him and inconvenienced him. I could tell he wasn't too happy that I asked him this question. I was also shocked to see that he looked like an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Manager. WHAT is UP with the LACK of FRIENDLINESS at this store?? The ONLY good thing is the NEW guy who is younger who works at the 'Self-Checkout' stand. He was very nice and accommodating! KUDOS to him for CUSTOMER SERVICE! IF Kroger really wants to KEEP their customers, TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES to be PRO-ACTIVE FRIENDLY who WALK into their store. UTILIZE the NORDSTROM'S Customer Service Motto, or even Costco's. I WISH there was ANOTHER GROCERY STORE similar to QFC in the area. ****

Deborah H.

Yelp
QFC is not my everyday supermarket. I generally shop the ads and when prices are good, or a certain item is on sale, I'll stop in for a few items. There are a lot of amenities stuffed into this store. Full service bakery, meat counter, sushi and deli. Customer service is always attentive, but you pay for it in the long run with elevated prices. Milk can be $1.99/quart at QFC and $0.99 at Fred Meyer, just blocks away. I've found that most QFC prices are more expensive than their sister store Freddie's, despite both being under the Kroger umbrella. While QFC offers lot of high end products, there's not a large range of selection. If you don't want to cook from scratch, QFC offers a vast variety of on-the-go expensive pre-cooked reheat meals and turnkey cooking options. This particular QFC in Totem Lake is quite small. The aisles are very narrow and not easy to navigate. Get two people with carts in the same aisle trying to move passed each other, it's very cramped. I always feel like I'm having space issues shopping at QFC. For my family's needs, QFC is great for quick stop shopping, but if you're buying your monthly groceries here, you're leaving money on the table.

Yelp
This is for the Sushi counter. Big thumbs down on the freshness of their sushi. I just had the Rainbow Roll/ Sushi combo and it was a big waste of $$$. All the sushi tasted the same (not defrosted or stored properly) and the only thing I could taste were the veggies in the roll and the sushi ginger. I usually get my sushi from the Redmond location (Bella Bottega Shopping Center). The Redmond QFC has the best and freshest sushi. I just assumed that these two locations would be the same.

Rashaka B.

Yelp
I was visiting events on business. Stopped by for some food and snacks. This was a great place to shop. The prices were reasonable. The location was clean. The selection was plentiful.

Jo L.

Yelp
I've been here a bunch of times, and there's a reasonable range if you're not after anything super crazy (i.e. goat cheddar and nonstick baking mats are out of the question). It's also in a pretty convenient location, and there's plenty of parking to be found. Customer service has been pretty good too. The staff seem to know where items are (unlike other stores where they just send me down the wrong aisle) and they're pretty knowledgeable about the local produce as well. This QFC has a considerable deli/to-go food section. The sushi is relatively decent if you want something quick, and the soups are pretty filling (plus you can get as many packs of crackers as you want). I had a deli sandwich once and they're pre-cut, so mine was a little bit dry. They also sell Top Pot donuts in the bakery daily. Yum. That said, I went there today and there was a fruit fly infestation around the onion and potato stand. SO GROSS. We ended up going to TJs for our fruit/veg. Luckily this review is for the average of my experiences there, so it evens out.

Josh F.

Yelp
QFC is a great supermarket with a fantastic selection of food and excellent service and they also have a solid deli that makes great, tasty sandwhiches with Boars Head meat and whatever you want on a variety of bread. I also saw salads and sushi in small packages.

Kevin W.

Yelp
About seven years ago, I came to this QFC store looking to buy some flowers. I used those flowers to ask my longtime crush to the high school dance. I think for the rest of my life, I will associate the Totem Lake QFC with that memory. I came back here just a week ago looking for food this time, and still I'm reminded of those flowers... There is a shortage of food options around this area. There's Olive Garden, a whole bunch of fast food restaurants, and QFC. I think I'll take the QFC. The store is very clean, upscale, professional-looking, and inviting. It is sufficiently big and includes some cool parts like a cafe and a pharmacy in addition to the usual deli, etc. For my lunch here, I just picked random items and ate at one of the cafe's tables. A spicy roll (ten pieces of sushi) for $5.99, a Kombucha drink for $2.50, and 0.27 pounds of chicken tenders for $1.89 ($6.99/lb). An unusual choice for a meal I know, but this stuff was pretty good and the prices were reasonable considering how nice of a store this is.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Loveeeee this place. They have a microwave so if you're on a diet (like I am..unfortunately) then you can come with your compadres and still enjoy a meal out of the office. They have a great selection of cakes. *See hamburger cake* didn't even have to special order that and it was only $15.99. WAYYY CHEAPER than I would have been able to attempt with all the recipes I've seen on pinterest and the like. Sushi is pretty decent. Fresh so you can't really go wrong if you have a hankering.

Bailey C.

Yelp
Nice local QFC in the north part of Kirkland. We like their manager specials throughout the store and they have a good arrangement of products, including gourmet items not offered at regular markets (Safeway, etc). This QFC has a Bakery, deli, floral, wine/spirits depts... they also have a Redbox on the outside. The deli section offers an olive bar, sushi area, and prepared food including gourmet sandwiches.... the deli will heat up the sandwiches in the panini press... And if you have groceries they will also ring you up in that dept. Great neighborhood market!

Carmen M.

Yelp
Thier pharmacy will not fill prescriptions to those of African American citizens will not answer your questions as to why or where the prescription is instead will choose to assist others will giving misleading information.

Michael C.

Yelp
I shop at QFC in many different locations. This Hass to be the worst of them all. If you are in need of assistance good luck finding someone ready and willing to help you. The self check out kiosks seem to have issues frequently. You must pay for your own bags. Go somewhere else.

Sharon K.

Yelp
Like most of us in the area I have been both a Qfc/Safeway/Trader Joe's shopper for ages. This particular Qfc has always had very personable and excellent customer service. Today however, I think they broke the barometer of greatness. As I was loading my bags into the car in the parking lot, a rogue large glass bottle of beer crashed onto the pavement directly behind my car. Muttering curses, I picked up most of the large pieces and then went inside to ask the two managers standing by the bakery if they could get someone to sweep so nobody slash their tires with my glass pieces. Not only were they extremely fast and came right out with the dust broom at Cetera one of the employees/manager offered to replace my beer, despite my protests of embarrassment. He came right out with the new beer.., thanked me for letting them know and gave me a prize winning smile. Besides this, I have been astounded at the level of customer service at the pharmacy, where as a regular customer our pharmacist know me by face and even know my sons name and are always extremely helpful and kind. Even though I moved a little bit far away from this Qfc, I've kept my prescriptions here and shop at the store at least weekly. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Jenner B.

Yelp
This used to be one of my to go stores, not anymore. Just came back from an aborted trip due to a shopper shopping with their dog in a shopping cart, and this wasn't a small dog either. I'm all for service animals but not in the carts that my food goes in. When I brought it up to management they just blew me off & made no attempt to look for the dog. One more establishment I won't ever patronize again. This makes 3. WTH is going on.

J C.

Yelp
I've used the pick-up service a few times. Moldy grapes, rotten avocado, hamburger that expired the day after I picked it up and fresh basil that was completely brown. Not the place for fresh anything. Go elsewhere.

Chunky L.

Yelp
want to give ZERO. was just in QFC totem lake in kirkland. i was there an hour ago. a dog (not a service dog) that was big and dirty leaning into meat counter was allowed to roam aisles with unkempt and dirt covered man that was carrying dogs chain. the dogs nose and jowls were on the red meat, pork, lamb, and chicken. this is pretty nasty. seafood is behind a counter so it only has dog nose smeared on glass window preventing us from touching non frozen seafood. again this was not a service dog. this dog was filthy and not trained to be service dog as it bounced about and zig zagged around aisles. i pointed it out to staff, they said it was no big deal. i left the items i was going to buy in cart and left store. i now have trader joes, whole foods, and safeway as stores i can go to as they are just as close of a drive for me. QFC lost my business. as QFC's go this one is pretty dank, compared with dt bellevue and dt kirkland. they must cater to the subsidized housing apartments nearby and so not really care since they have a captive audience. got to wonder what they do when no one is looking, if this is how they act when someone is looking. Can grocery stores get Health Inspection ratings like restaurants?

Nick M.

Yelp
I wanted to return a $5 bottle of Tabasco because I literally found it for half the price at Winco. The self checkout clerk called for the manager and a minute or two later P.I.C. Louis came, I asked him if he could process the return for me. He just kept looking at the receipt and finally asked if I bought the item at his store which he knew I didn't because he was staring confusedly at the receipt from a QFC an hour away. The self checkout clerk was the first to chime in and say "no" which was odd to me and then another woman worker said that inventory issues prevented them from processing a return from another store. I'm not sure why the person in charge cant speak for himself and let me know the situation. I believe he could have processed the return for me if he wanted but the situation felt really uncomfortable with so many people involved. I won't be going to any QFC in the future because there are so many other options available.

Shweta B.

Yelp
I love QFC but will never go to Kirkland QFC ever!! Fruits and veggies are always rotten and once , I had purchased a box of white rice which had worms in it. Highly recommend the staff to improve quality of produce in the store.

Heather A.

Yelp
Whole foods married a Safeway and had a baby they call, "QFC." This is the perfect store for people who love Whole Foods, but don't love their prices and desire more selection (at least more than the Bellevue, WA Whole Foods location). The staff here at QFC is always friendly, even when I'm wearing my 49ers jersey. That's a significant performance indicator for me as I've had my fair share of ridicule by locals on game days. I have to reduce my rating by one star because communication doesn't seem to be the best in the bakery department. Everybody is more than willing to help and they're very nice about it, but communication is lost when one person has a day off or goes on vacation... I waited three weeks for an item to be stocked (as promised by one person), only to be told by another person that my request was "out of season." Again, they're all pleasant as can be, but probably need to implement a process to ensure follow-through with customer requests. Checkout is quick, the food is fresh, and the prices aren't outrageous unless you buy imported cheese. They also have a decent selection of organic foods.

Dennis I.

Yelp
Wow, QFC has just added a CASH back service fee to Debit cards. Hey QFC, I won't be using you anymore. Thieves.

Wanda M.

Yelp
I will not shop at this store again. I was recently shopping with my elderly service dog. (I am diabetic and have chronic kidney failure) My dog has flown with me, accompanied me to Walmart and restaurants, never with any problems. He even has an AKC Canine Good Citizen certification so he is prepared for most any situation. Unfortunately, this day, he had an accident in the store....not something he's ever done before. The store manager came over and confronted me about it in front of other shoppers. I was very apologetic, and that's really all you can do. He kept ranting on and on. I asked politely if he wanted me to leave. He said no, but continued to humiliate me so much that I finally said he wouldn't have to worry about me because I would NOT be back! I have never felt so humiliated. My dog is trained to alert me when my glucose drops or increases, which does happen on shopping trips. I have been a loyal customer of QFC and Kroger for many years, but they will never get another dollar from me!

Brittany L.

Yelp
I come here often because I work nearby and though I don't spend a whole lot of time in other parts of the store I am a die-hard regular at the sushi counter. So much that I MIGHT die from mercury poisoning but hey, at least I'll be full of sushi and happy. Seriously though, I don't think you can get sushi this good for this price in any other grocery store (or even some sushi restaurants!). It's always fresh and delicious and every time I walk in, there are chefs preparing it, and will even make a custom box for you if they don't have what you're looking for on display. For that reason, this QFC and it's sushi chefs see me entirely too often!

Brian W.

Yelp
I worked with QFC for seven years in the late 80's early 90's. It has since been purchased by Fred Meyer and then Kroger. I rarely Shop at QFC anymore. But, back then QFC was the "****". Great quality and service. This Kingsgate store is close to my home but Fred Meyer and Safeway are closer. It was Thursday and my day off. I decided that I was going to get out of my paradigm and shop at a store that I had never been to. It was nice to see that the Q still has nice clean stores. At least this one was. Still great quality in the displays and the store was fun to look around. I had a mission to buy ingredients for a taco dinner and orders from my wife not to spend all my money. (I am a notorious impulse shopper) It may have been that the displays were so nice that I didn't want to disturb them but the only thing that I bought that wasn't on my short list was an apple. Usually I end up with $7-$8 of extra crap that I don't need but just found interesting. It could have been that the one thing that I did want to get was a $25 Easter basket. If it was $10 I would have bought it. QFC was always known as a place that you might pay a little more but the service made up for it. While shopping I did not have one employee ask me if I needed help. Also not one employee said hello to me except the cashier, as I was checking out. I am in sales and I have a great attitude. I'm always smiling and looking to pick other people up. My cashier was having a bad day and I could tell as much. The customer in front of me had given her a hard time as well. She was young and inexperienced and really had no business being in the check stand. A grocer needs it's best people at the check out. I gave my best attempts to encourage her and make her day better but she still gave me bad service. I left thinking that I would probably not ever go back to that QFC. Although the store looked nice and was clean, it's still a people business. I think that QFC is no longer taking care of it's employee's. It seems to be just a place to work, not the place to work. 20 years ago QFC was great. Now it's an also ran. I'm sorry.

Dee D.

Yelp
If you are looking for a few things then QFC is great...However if you need to buy monthly groceries I wouldn't recommend it because they are a bit on the pricey side. However for the last 4 years I have been going to Charlene in the bakery for all my cakes. She is phenomenal. I have had many cake orders throughout the years from birthday, sports, cupcakes etc and Charlene has been able to create whatever vision I had for each cake. From Heineken bottles, Hello Kitty, Power Rangers, Bowling, Laser Tag, basketball, shoes she has made each and every cake memorable. I get WOW's without fail. I make sure I only go to her and I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants a memorable celebration.

Yelp
Terrible experience this evening. New store literally within walking distance of my home. Needed almond milk and fruit tonight. Went to the back of the store to grab milk and when I picked up carton the bottom opened up. Milk spilled everywhere which was no biggy totally a fixable thing. It was late in the evening no employees within sight so I grabbed my fruit and went to the register. I immediately told the cashier "Alisha" what had just happened and she made no eye contact, did not acknowledge and was extremely passive. I asked her if she would let someone know and her response was "yeah I guess". I was not comfortable with the interaction so I called and spoke with a manager on my way home. He knew nothing about the carton of milk that was spilled in the back of the store and thanked me for calling. QFC you have a great model at this location but please work on training your front line staff.

Yelp
Everyone is always very friendly when I come in with my kids. My most recent experience was with Debbie in the floral department. I purchased tulips for my son's teachers and had made vases for them. I asked her about small boxes and the best way to transport them to his school without spilling over in the car. She quickly grabbed some small boxes for me and made them up as well as giving me a larger box to carry them in. The flowers made it safely in their vases to the school and the teachers loved them. They even commented on how nice and easy it was to take home in their cars too! Thank you, Debbie!

Yelp
This is the other QFC I shop at fairly regularly. (I live downtown but work in Kirkland, so this is the other place I get most of my groceries.) Unlike the Wunder-QFC of Broadway, which has everything, this is a NORMAL grocery store. But it does NORMAL well. The deli counter is often a stop for my lunch hours. I'll stock up my work fridge with my Lean Cuisines and fresh fruit, but usually I start the week with a little something from the deli counter. Maybe some of their meatloaf, or their tasty raspberry pork shanks? The deli counter helpers are friendly and prompt. The meat department is GREAT! As other folks have noted, you can get a pretty tasty cut of meat from them. One of my favourite things, newly discovered in recent months, is the trays of pre-assembled meat dishes. I take one or two of these home every week, and instead of spending my evenings slaving over the cutting board, trying to chop ingredients, I can pop these little suckers in the oven, steam some rice and veggies, and have a decent meal without breaking a sweat. My favourites are the orange-cranberry chicken and the apple-almond chicken. (There are porks and steaks and salmon filets as well, but I tend to head straight for the chicken. Be warned though--take the last of the orange-cranberry and face my wrath!*) I also raid the produce section quite often since work stocks Things That Are Terrible For You in our kitchen and I need healthy snacks to stave off the nibbling pangs. This QFC does a great job of keeping a selection of delicious fruit. I've also got a Fuji or a Honeycrisp apple handy. Anyway, the parking here is plentiful and the service is bueno. For a NORMAL grocery store, this QFC is where it's at.

Yelp
This is really the most convenient grocery shopping that you can get to from I405. More times than I can count I have stopped here to get snacks and lunches for business meetings and the deli section is always ready to go with custom or regular orders. Great place to go in a pinch. It also features a nice and quiet coffee area that serves as a good backup when Starbucks is over capacity.

Yelp
Man, this place makes even SAFEWAY look like an upscale market. Poor selection, high prices. Not much more to say.

Yelp
Clean store and friendly employees. Moderate prices. They could definately use a bigger selection.

Yelp
They're open 24 hours and we can walk there from my boyfriend's apartment. Win and win. Well, except when they're closed for cleaning. At least the walk isn't so bad when I do find out they're closed? The deli sandwiches are a filling lunch and a tastier alternative to Subway. The bakery stocks the cute little tiny La Brea for one baguettes [the grocery store bakery I work at does not, so I have to buy them here!] and they have the "extreme" pastry case with really tasty looking things hiding inside, including cupcakes with pigs on them. I love pigs, which is why I've had a pig cupcake in the fridge since my boyfriend moved here in September [it's still adorable, and I wasn't planning on eating it anyway!] I generally buy produce from the grocery store I work at, but when I've had to supplement it with QFC's produce I've been pleased. QFC can be a bit pricey but overall the convenience of a 24hr market next door [you know, for when the clock strikes 1:45 and I realize I really want a bottle of green apple Smirnoff...] is worth the extra pennies.

Yelp
I can't believe I'm reviewing a grocery store, let alone a QFC, but I can't deny exceptional service when I see it. First of all, the last time I was in a QFC was about four years ago when I used to frequent a shop in the same strip mall (OKAY, OKAY, okay! The shop was a Dollar Tree. Don't judge me.) Anyway, I remember this very day because it was the first and only time I've ever left a cart full of groceries behind and walked out of a store. Today I had a doctors appointment and my doctor just recently changed locations. It was Friday afternoon and I was in desperate need of a beer yet the only nearby option was a QFC. I was grinding my teeth while pulling into a parking spot but I was pretty desperate for a brewsky so I decided to walk the plank. I felt my morals begin to leave me like a snake shedding its skin, but the overwhelming sensation of regret and contempt for QFC (acquired from my previous experience) faded without the slightest realization. Prices were decent, Rainer was on sale, and I even got some food for my pets. When I went to check out, it was the typical Disneyland line that I experience at Safeway, yet before I could pull out my phone to complain to my husband, a kind voice behind me asked if she could help. The cashier, Alex, was dealing with some technical issues in the self checkout stations, but was able to ring me up and send me on my way like she was competing in the final round of Supermarket Sweep. All the while, she was incredibly charming and polite. I will give this QFC another visit and can officially cross this store off my "do not shop" List. (Don't get any ideas Hobby Lobby- you're on the list for life.)

Yelp
I'm not feeling the friendliness of this store. I waited at the bakery counter and the woman behind the counter ignored me. I watched her, waiting for her to even look at me - nothing. Then she goes out in front of the counter and starts playing with the items on the tables. I hung around for a few more minutes - now just to see how long she could ignore me. After about 4 minutes I finally just walked away without buying anything. They had a nice selection though! Had the exact fruit flan tart I was looking for. Too bad they wouldn't let me buy it!
