This grocery store is gigantic and has everything you have on your list, plus some things you didn’t know you needed but they ended up in your cart. There is a sushi counter, bakery, deli, cheese area, a huge produce section, flowers and plants, a Starbucks, seasonal items as well as all the regular sections of freezer items, meat, seafood, dry goods, and dairy.

Best supermarket in college areas. Employees always friendly and helpful, always smile and enthusiastic 🤩 . Very big supermarket for everyone, specially in the u village ( kind of expensive area). Everyday here has discount goods like fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, skincare, drinks, ice cream, snacks, coffee, teas, etc. you should download their official app and sign in as customer, then QR code to get the discount that help me save tons of money. I shop there at least 3 times per week, and there are have tons of options in the drinks. There have Japan & China& Korean wines and beers which is crazy 😜. Also they have Asian Food category ( Chinese & India & Thai & Japan & Korean ) that meander you can got your favorite foods. As a Chinese student in American I really need a supermarket with Asian food.

Great takeout selection of sushi, very idea for people who want a quick grab and go.

Here’s the translation: This is a well-stocked supermarket with a wide variety of products. The store is neat and clean, and the staff are highly professional. The freshly made sushi is delicious and reasonably priced. Thanks to Lisa for her service; her smile and enthusiasm brought me good luck for the day!

Google
I gave this QFC 5 stars bcuz of how huge it is. This place has its own parking garage!! My 1st time coming I was with my client she comes here each Passover bcuz this QFC has the passover foods Jews eat, and the variety is amazing. I couldn't draw it all in bcuz of how huge it is. The casiers were very kind. The man who helped my client was very nice and as huge as it is and as many ppl go there and it was busy when we went , it seemed as tho there were barely anyone shopping yet there was . So it's bigger then I thought or I was focused on helping my client find the foods she wanted for Passover. What ever the case may be it was a nice place to shop. Now I won't shop at QFC bcuz of the prices. They are completely outrages they are way to high for my wallet. If the prices were low and I mean low like Win-co I would shop there well not in Seattle but in Enumclaw. But if u wanna check them out do so that is IF u want to go to Seattle or if u r already in Seattle and haven't been go check out how huge they are. It's wild.

Great selection of fruits and vegetables. Bakery and deli is fresh. Employees are very helpful and courteous. Open late in case you forgot something to pack for lunch the next day !

Google
I used QFC U Village for my wedding florals, and I'm so glad I did! I worked with Stephanie and she was incredibly helpful and flexible throughout the whole process. She was willing to order custom greenery and flowers to work with my vision and she was responsive and transparent the whole time. I would highly recommend working with her for your wedding bouquets and other florals!

Yelp
Unlike a couple of other reviewers, I love that they have good security at this store. Reality is, we are either paying for security in our food prices or we are covering the cost of stolen products. I personally have seen security stop two theft attempts at this store. The store has excellent produce including a substantial organic section. Good selection of products. Staff is nice and seems to enjoy working there.

Yelp
When attending the University of Washington and living in the on-campus dorms for Spring 2011 and Autumn 2011 quarters, this QFC in University Village was my most frequented place to pick up groceries off-campus at a good price. It was a walkable distance and had a variety of offerings. Self check-out was consistently fast even when busy and workers were professional. One of my highlights from the 2011 time period was picking out pumpkins and carving them with my roommate. They even had white pumpkins, which as someone who had grown up carving orange pumpkins I decided to go with to try something new. I carved it with a cat pattern, and found it did not last as long as the carved orange pumpkin(s), but it was still fun to try something new.

Yelp
The older gentleman working at the Qfc liquor store wasn't the easiest person to work with. Horrible customer service.

Yelp
I've been buying their shrimp in a tray for $5, which wasn't a bad price. But now "shrinkage" is so extreme that I won't buy it anymore.

Ashley L.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible customer service. I spent so much money at QFC literally every single location. I buy cat food every few weeks but it's wild how the workers act all the time. I don't care how much you're trying to trim off the budget you've got to teach these people how to how to treat guests because it's not fair especially if it's a return or usual customer. Especially as someone who has 15 years of service industry experience and still to this day gets in my trouble if I'm not to the T perfect. So yeah today at 8:30 PM. Owen was super disrespectful and I really think he should be reprimanded. He didn't mind this whole group of little kids basically assaulting me and instead decided to get onto me for trying to use my shopping cart to strategically block them from walking up to me because they were trying to swing on me. It was a group of about 7 to 8 high school boys, tall high school boys who are all taller than me. I'm a grown woman and there's no reason for little kids to be swinging on me. So I snapped on Mr. Owen, because he yanked my cart out of my hand just because I was trying to use the shopping carts to keep them away from me while I was calling my Lyft driver. I'm going to do my best to never go to this location again I don't care what's going on or what me or my cat needs if I have to go to Mud Bay then I will.

Yelp
I wish I would have taken more photos, this place was a really neat place to go shopping! The layout of the store was inviting. It was clean & stocked. We ended up getting wine, cheese, salami & crackers. I appreciated the boxes designated for the $5 or less cheese it allowed us to try cheeses we've never tried before. There was quite a line of people at the deli to get their meat sliced, so we had found pre-sliced salami that was already sliced from the service deli earlier but prepackaged... that was a great idea. Don't get me started about the wine selection it was set up nicely, had all sorts of selections of different varietals. We ended up getting 6 bottles so we could get the additional 10% off. I was impressed with the amount of ports available. The prices on the wine are extremely reasonable and for the bottles that we did pick up We're all at least 4 out of 5. The 2019 Garnacha from Godina was 5/5 and an AMAZING wine.

Yelp
The QFC bar is incredibly clutch. The prices can't be beat at all. You get a 20 oz beer for around $4 regularly, then they have a happy hour specials that are even better. Two TV screens worth of choices. A very economical option to enjoy some beer while catching a game on TV. Prefer this over some of the often over priced restaurants and bars nearby. The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. There is a tip jar but generally the receipts leave no place for tipping. Menus on the table are available to order food from the Tutta Bella's in the store. They'll deliver your order right to you as well. We go here regularly because it's such a nice little oddity to enjoy in Seattle. Supermarket bars are in!

Yelp
Security guards are so bot they denied my friends real, valid id because he suspected it was fake and wasn't from Washington. (She's literally from Ohio...) lost loyal customers today.
google avatar

Doinb L.

Yelp
I came here every week to grab food before going to the gym. I was just asked to leave my gym bag at the door by the security. Hey, if you have no trust to your customers, then fuck off. If you treat your customers as theft, how can your customers ever trust you? I will never come back again.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Typical QFC. There's generally a good selection of groceries and the staff is competent. The price is a little higher here than a Fred Meyer or even Safeway. But it's not that much higher and the quality is as good or a little better than Safeway.
google avatar

Kimmy L.

Yelp
I definitely prefer shopping here over Safeway ("Sketchway") on The Ave. I find that the produce and meat here is fresher and that the overall store is cleaner and better stocked and organized. It also has a greater varieties of products compared to Safeway. The workers here tend to be friendly and helpful. I usually use self-checkout, but most of my experiences going through the assisted checkout line have been positive. I can usually find a parking spot in the garage towards the back, but Sunday afternoons and evenings are definitely the busiest time to shop here. QFC recently got new cold cases for dairy products. I don't know if that is exciting or not, but it shows that they care about keeping their products fresh and providing a positive shopping experience for customers.

Emma B.

Yelp
Their security looks paramilitary. The only thing I've seen them do is stare at women and have their hands in their vest. Incredibly uncomfortable. Doesn't feel any safer, it doesn't feel like a grocery store anymore.

Yelp
A lovely, clean and vast store with most anything one would need while grocery shopping. An Ellenos yogurt bar in house makes for a wonderful treat, rain or shine, frigid or arid. (And samples to boot!) A small basket available near the fresh produce for free fruit for children, too. Employees are often preoccupied, don't see you if you need assistance, even when standing right next to them, politely saying, "excuse me?" (Crickets) But, if you know where you're going, what you need and where to find it, not needing to confer with anyone, you should find your shopping experience pleasant.

Yelp
birthday cake for 90 yr old mother. "Marble" sheet cake, dry, choked down with coffee, no flavor, dry flour like. Frosting; might have helped cake if I got what I ordered, which was buttercream. Yucky kid frosting. nicely decorated and correct

Yelp
Hey QFC, you pay a lot of money to advertise! But, guess what, we've had with your store! Went to buy an ad item, the self-check cashier did not know how to write a raincheck. We told him, we'd help him if he brought the form. Then he said he didn't know where they were located. So, we called the store after we got home and a person in charge texted a raincheck to our phone. Next time to the store, showed the text to the cashier and a "manager" (young man with attitude) said "You can't use that because we have no proof that you won't use it again". What? So now we're trying to scam you for an item on a raincheck? Your total disrespect and lack of trust means we won't, and don't, need to shop at your store again. We are truly over your constant continuing rudeness after several years of shopping there. There are plenty of better choices nearby so GOODBYE!

Chloe W.

Yelp
The customer service is pretty bad almost every time I visit this location. I was in the self check out line and the staff was rude and unhelpful. When a product couldn't be processed, the staff member basically ripped the product out of my hand and walked away. It was obvious that they didn't want to help me and it made me feel as if I was a burden. Though the store has a lot of food options, it doesn't outweigh the countless bad experiences I've had with the staff here. I normally take my business to Trader Joe's at this point because they're always kind and helpful.

Yelp
Unconscionable lack of customer service at QFC University Village. We have been customers for decades. And yet... I had spinal fusion surgery 3+ wks ago and rely on a cold therapy machine to help to control pain. My husband "feeds" the machine blocks of ice 24hrs a day to keep it going. He has been doing this now for three wks. buying ice from QFC 4-6 times a week. -On Wed. he bought all of the blocks available at the store and was told another shipment would arrive today. -We phoned this morning and was told it was not yet in. Fine. -He waited and trusted. Then he phoned this afternoon, told someone what he needed and why, told the whole story, and asked the person to actually go and look. The person returned to say they had blocks of ice. -They didn't. Eventually, some sort of store manager apologized and my husband is now searching the north end of Seattle for blocks of ice, having waited for the QFC we have patronized for decades to be true to their word. **I am just so disappointed in QFC! It seems as though, since they began to be absorbed into the enormous Kroeger company, they have become more concerned about sales and pushing their Kroeger products, and less and less concerned about honestly servicing their customers

Yelp
I bought the squid tentacles at this location and cooked them earlier tonight and ended up with the green apple splatters that nearly left me airborne off the toilet. What if I was walking outside or downtown when the bowel movement hit me? VERY disappointed. stay away from the seafood section.

Yelp
Aaah a market that I wish was near where I live. They have an abundance of items to choose from and even organic, vegan and the regular brand of groceries. But what impresses me is the hot items and salad bar available to people on the go or just don't have the time to prepare a meal. And surprisingly it was open 24/7 and was one of the few stores available on Thanksgiving Day. Did you know they even had a Starbucks in the store for your convenience. They also featured local products and I love that because you get the taste of what Washington has to offer. And the price is right too along with the no food tax for you food items. You can't beat that! When ever you are in town stop by if you need anything for the hotel you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I just had to write a review today. I was looking for a super obscure golden curry mix to make some Japanese curry and couldn't find it. Steve, a super sweet dude was stocking a shelf nearby and literally just went out of his way to ask if I needed help finding something. He proceeded to crack the code with me and we finally found it in an unexpected spot. Sometimes I feel like a burden to people working hard stocking shelves. This guy sincerely cared and asked me if I needed help. Really appreciate people like that in this world. Without him I would have given up , and my roommates would have been sad lol. Here's to you Steve! You rock

Yelp
QFC is QFC... but I really appreciate this location. Whenever I make the trafficy-trek to UV to shop the mall, I love that I can stop in here for some supplies on the way home. I always park in the lot anyways that way I always remember where I left my car. So it just makes sense to stop there. I also like that they have an olive bar here with lots of options for charcuterie board crafting. The last time I stopped in it looked as if they were in the middle of some remodeling in the pre-made food/deli section. But it didn't really impact my shopping experience, which was nice. A side note: it was nice to be able to find well marked restrooms that you didn't need a code to access.

Yelp
Sob very sorry wonderful market , yes CB need more , just v like Cali needs Fred Meyers, kekrkrkr. Nah it's a great place v if you love writing" real " in front of all your unique food posts. As opposed to most of our other markets with , you know all the' fake " stuff. And around the corner from my house they have" real Mexican food being pumped out right next to that oh sho legit sushi , or maybe should have posted "real" in front of the words"roll" like omg so to for. But yes would be nice tho have a few in SD. Just tear down a, let's say family owned business in La Jolla or even better Guest has lots of room. So then we can have some real food. Go to sprouts or Trader Joe's, just As real minus the cheap sushi. Man sometimes I forget how much better I am than everyone else.
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
This location is definitely one of my preferred grocery stores. They have everything that you would expect to find at a standard grocery store with the added benefit of a lot of prepared foods, great for busy college students on the go, parties, or just a lazy day. The self checkout lanes really aren't arranged the best so things can get a bit crazy while you're in there, but overall this location is a really solid grocery store.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
This QFC is one of the best grocery stores in the area. It has a large selection of items and features a big deli and seafood area. The quality of the produce is normally pretty good. I'm glad I can drive because the extra time to go to QFC is worth it. The inside is kept pretty clean and the staff are friendly. A couple things to keep in mind are that QFC tends to be a bit more expensive and it used to be open for long hours but they shortened them a while back.
google avatar

Yelp
I come here when I go shopping in the area. I have been here two times and the customer service is just horrible. We came here today and the cash register kid and the bagger were plain rude. I think I am spoiled since I shop in my QFC in the Eastside and they are nice, calm and have people skills. I will definitely skip this place when I am shopping at UW Village. Thanks but no thanks.

Yelp
This review is for the pharmacy. This pharmacy is terrible. They literally never have my medication in stock even though i fill my prescription there every single month. Even after repeated conversations with the pharmacists and staff asking them to please keep my meds in stock, they still fail to do so. It is dangerous to skip my daily meds and they put my health at risk every single month due to their incompetence. Time to bring my business to a different pharmacy. Good luck trying to find parking at this qfc as well. Oh and I hope you love waiting in line for at least 20 minutes to just speak to someone at the pharmacy or to request your refills (just to find out your meds are not in stock per norm and it's going to take up to a week to get them in stock Because they're too incompetent to order them when they are all out per norm. This is not an exotic med, wtf is their problem.) Their online and phone systems don't work/are non existent so don't waste your time requesting refills that way. Side note: they have put up so many barriers and the staff speak so quietly in very rough English that even a younger person like myself can not hear or understand anyone there. The incompetence and the lack of ability to even hear or understand anything they are saying is incredibly infuriating and frustrating. I definitely don't suggest patronizing this pharmacy. Every pharmacist that I've ever seen working behind the counter is incredibly disgruntled before you even step up to the window, so it doesn't appear that the employees love it there either.

Yelp
This is my favorite QFC in Seattle, and though it's not the closest to my house, I usually shop at this location. Pros: -large, convenient parking lot -great selection of items in every department, especially meat, frozen, and produce -reasonable prices and good sales -store is clean and beautiful, making for a pleasant shopping experience -next to other great shopping (UVillage) Cons: -Gets very crowded at peak times, making shopping here a nightmare. That's not the store's fault, but something to be aware of

Yelp
Five stars because it's a grocery store. What could go wrong? lol. I do love the kosher cold case section back by the hot chicken deli area. The kosher coleslaw and potato salads are to die for! Prices are what they are, no surprises. Got a nice little container of real salmon dip for $4 and a big bag of dip-chips for a buck and a quarter.

Ann J.

Yelp
This is for the Deli catering section only. We ordered several sandwich platters, wings, fruit platter, etc., for a large Christmas Eve party. Major fail. The Sandwiches were very dry and could not be improved with mayonnaise or other condiments. The bread was hard, dry and not as fresh as it should be. They forgot to make our order/party platter of wings and basically gave us a bag of frozen chicken. Party starts In 1/2 an hour. One person told us they forgot to make it, the other person said they don't offer it anymore, but it's still on their menu and employees don't know that. The fruit platter was slightly better bur remained untouched at the party. The strawberries were half white, unripe. Not good quality.

Yelp
Barely a-okay these days, QFC is run by Krogers and food quality has slid down, down. down. I love a good deal, but the last several produce and perishable related supposed deals have been a disaster. Yesterday, raspberries were on special and I assumed that was due to a near record bumper season of the stuff, but once again, QFC did a "gotcha" because last nights purchase of raspberries were soggy and non edible at 8 am the next morning after just hours in the fridge. My good deal turned into an item for the trash bin. This keeps happening to me at the QFC, over and over. I guess I need to be hit over the head. Well, ta-da. I get it now. First there was the purchase of Sabra hummus that was on Manager's Special and turned out it was one day from expiring. Then, there were the apples on special during apple season that were mealy and tasteless. Then the strawberries on 2 for one I had to throw out due to tanginess & fur hidden in the package. Oh, and the Crest vibrating toothbrush for my kid on "special" that inexplicably didn't work at all right out of the box due to expired batteries. I know, I know I can take this stuff back. And I should. But I'm a busy mom and it often is just one item, so that item just gets tossed, venting occurs, and I make the pledge that this place is a last resort. But its convenient, and so I return, and then it happens again, and hey, its just one item a shopping, so we have to at least give them one for consistency. But seriously, I want to trust the local spot I shop at. if I'm a regular. I have to believe they are at least trying to do the right thing. With this many missteps around perishable items on "special" the only conclusion I can draw is Kroger/QFC is trying to move old merchandise and make a buck on items they should be pulling from the shelves. Poor business practices in my opinion.

Yelp
This review is for the floral department. We got our wedding flowers here. We worked with Rose, and she was just fabulous. I live out of state and she was gracious enough to meet with us on a whim. She was professional, took notes on our vision, made suggestions, and promptly gave us a quote. We corresponded through email to finalize our floral needs. She delivered and set up the look at our venue day of. Everything looked perfect! Also, I only ordered rose petals for the aisle, but she gave us a whole garbage sized bag of petals! We were pleasantly surprised and used them all around the outdoor cocktail hour space. It looked SO good!! The guests loved it, and we ended up taking a bunch of throwing petals in the air pictures! :) Overall, great experience with Rose. The price is average, but everything was so easy, it was all worth it.

Yelp
The clerk PAUL who works at self checkout area was really rude and crazy. There was a coupon failed to load onto my membercard, so I asked for help. He obviously thought we bothered him by making him to work, and he said "F*CK" when he came to my front. Yes RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME SAYING "F*CK"! I couldn't believe QFC would hire such one to help customers?! Really?? I complained right after that and I do wish Paul get fired as that's what he wants to.

Yelp
I have been a costumer of this store for many year and never been so disappointed b4. There kosher section is no fun any more not much to choose from. Meat section always almost empty. Roasted chicken never ready till almost 12noon or 12:30pm And when you ask for certain meat they say the order didn't show up );; really? Every week didn't?? I even tried to call few weeks ahead of time still don't get what I need. Went there today asking for a lamb( no lamb) Went there asking for a veal( no veal) Called and asked to order baby chicken They told me it's a different supplier and its difficult to get them......... always something I hope the corporate office will do something about it soon and bring back all the good stuff we had b4 for no problem!

Yelp
This is my favorite grocery store in Seattle for several reasons. 1. Reasonable prices. Not as cheap as Safeway. But not as expensive as Metropolitan Market. 2. Meat counter staff is fantastic! They have always been happy and helpful with all of my needs, be it picking out just the right ribeye cut, or giving me pointers on baking the jalapeno poppers. The product stocked has always been of high quality. 3. Quality produce. Not trying to knock on the Safeway next door, but you can really notice the difference in their veggie department. 4. Solid self-checkout setup, staffed with people who know how to make it run smoothly. My introverted tendencies make self-check out my preference, and this place does it right. 5. Einstein Bagels and Starbucks are attached to the building so if you need a cup of coffee or a bagel then you can just snag one on the way in. So that's my two cents on why this QFC is my go-to spot for pretty much all of my grocery shopping! Cheers.

Yelp
I have visited a number of QFC's across the greater Seattle area now and this one is about average. My one complaint here is that they don't appear to carry the variety of some QFC's I've been to do. It may have been a restock day or maybe the inventory manager limits the choices, idk. The other comment I have refers to the bareness of their shelves, which is the other reason that led me to my above assumption. Their were a couple of items I was looking for that were apparently sold out, so I had to go with random brands or substitutes for a few recipes I was cooking.

Yelp
This QFC has been gradually becoming my favorite grocery store in the area. It's large for a city grocery store and has a good selection. Recently they added more parking, which had been an issue, and we never have trouble finding parking now. Parking is for 90 minutes, which can be a bit tight if you have other U Village errands to run also, but for just grocery shopping it's adequate. I really like the deli here, and there's a large seating area (which includes a Starbucks) where you can sit and eat. I especially like the Boar's Head wraps and sandwiches - while you can build your own, there are quite a few tasty pre-made choices named after Seattle and Washington places like "The Yakima" and "The Ballard." I love the bakery and the cheese counter that they added a few years ago. The floral department is pretty to walk through and has a lot of nice options. I might be a bit biased because I bought a yellow and pink rose here the first time I asked my partner out, and I still have it nearly 8 years later (now very dried). Prices on basic items like milk, eggs, and bread can be higher here than at Safeway, but Safeway's prices have been edging up as well so the difference doesn't seem as marked as it once did. This QFC often has great prices on produce, and a large selection with a good number of interesting items, including items you'd normally only see at an Asian grocery like jackfruit. Last week green peppers were only 50 cents each! They also occasionally have sales for sections of the store like the butcher counter. The wine, beer, and cider selection within the store is great, but the liquor situation is strange. QFC bought the former Washington State liquor store around the corner, and somehow they've made it worse. I went to the UW and used to always buy drinks for parties there, and the atmosphere always felt pretty friendly and jovial -- I mean, it was full of college kids buying booze. Now, there are bars on the windows and doors which I don't remember being there before, and the bluish lighting and carpets somehow seem depressing. The aisles are narrow and the staff have been rude. I know the picture on my ID is not the most flattering ever (I kind of have bug-eyes since I was trying hard to keep them open, and my hair looks bad; I'm glad I'll be replacing it this year) but one of them actually laughed when he saw it :( There's also no way to enter the liquor store from within the main QFC. The sushi here is better than you'll find at most grocery stores (there's a bigger selection and it's actually made in the store), and while I'm not Jewish, I'm glad that there's a store here with such a large kosher selection for those who need it. Also, you can get really good deals at the day-old bakery sale section (located near the freezer aisles); I regularly buy Macrina bakery bread loaves there, and last week I got an 8 inch pumpkin pie for $1.79 that still tasted quite good! I'm rounding up to 5 stars, since I really can't think of a better all-purpose grocery store in the area - but the liquor situation would need to be improved for me to truly love this store.

Yelp
I love that they have Elleno's Greek Yogurt here! I'm not a huge yogurt fan, but this one is irresistible, all the flavors look so inviting. I love passion fruit yogurt the most, although I have yet to try the other flavors.

Yelp
I have gone to this QFC for many years and I absolutely love this place! This is my favorite location ever!!!

Yelp
Grossly overcrowded 11/14/2020 @145pm. Social distancing was not possible. When checking out ( not self checkout ) you are just a few feet from the other person paying. Covid 19 super spreader business.

Yelp
The customer service is exceptional as well as the quality products that this qfc carries. Giri, the cheese monger, is like the coolest guy ever. Funny, knowledgable, generous with samples. I eat a lot of cheese and always look forward to bumping into Giri. Giri deserves a medal of honor.

Yelp
I have been a customer at QFC University Village (2746 NE 45th St) for a long time and always get treated fairly, but today I was very disappointed. The cashier Ana was unfriendly, unhelpful, and did not represent QFC well. She needs to get re-trained about better customer service! I myself am a cashier at a very busy retail store too. Here's why: We got into her check stand when I saw she had her light on and was standing free. I asked if she was opened and she kind of nodded. We entered the check stand, she did not greet us at all because she was busy talking to her co-workers at that moment. She was holding my food, not even scanned, still talking and kind of ignoring us standing in front of her staring at her. And after she scanned my bread, she threw it on the belt. After we paid, she handed the receipt to my husband (who's generally a nice guy and still said 'thank you' to her) without looking and there was not a THANK YOU in return and GOOD BYE! What kind of attitude was that? This was her 2nd incident. The 1st time was a few weeks ago. She also had a rude attitude but I thought maybe she just had a long/bad day, and shouldn't make a big deal out of it. This time, I only recognized her after getting into the check stand and saw her name tag. The cashier is a very important role to the grocery/retail store. They will be the last employee of the store to make a good impression to customers and make them want to come back. If she doesn't like her job, she can quit, but if she wants to do this job, do it properly! Or else stay in the back, and don't cashier. (Again, I'm a cashier at a busy retail store too). Really hope her manager can read these comments. If not then too bad. You hired a wrong one!

Yelp
Awful customer service. I picked up some sushi and and olives for lunch, which turned out to be bad, the olives tasted fishy and the sushi rice was rock hard, too dense, and too sweet, even for supermarket sushi. Anyways, despite not having a receipt, after work I thought I'd try to return it. The first customer service rep was nice enough, but when she called for Tom the store manager he took one irritated look and puffed, "I can't return this without a receipt" which I totally understand and even expected, but a 'sorry your lunch was awful, but unfortunately we can't issue a refund without a receipt' would have gone a long way. Dreadful food, worse customer service.

Yelp
A larger grocery in Seattle which makes for one stop shopping most of the time. It can be pricey, but they also carry some good quality items. I wanted to post how impressed I was by a cashier I had months back named Cheryl. I was so impressed by how professional and polite she was. She ensured I was aware of several sales to maximize my savings as well. This interaction really struck me and honestly made me consider shopping there more which says a lot coming off 6 years of almost exclusively grocery delivery. Thanks Cheryl for the outstanding customer service!

Yelp
This QFC is located in the U. Village. I like coming here for some very specific reasons. Yes it is 24 hours like most QFC's. Since it is in the U. Village, there is a convenient parking lot to park your buggy in. A lot of the Seattle 24 hour QFCs will close their parking structures so you have to park on the street. Another helpful pointer, the Starbucks inside the QFC won't kick you out after the actual starbucks closes! Score for those who need a place to hunker down and get some work done. Usually will have a few UW students looking kind of haggard around finals time trying to burn the late night candle.

Yelp
That awk moment when there is a QFC at the UVillage. But, actually. I mean it's a pretty typical QFC. Decently large...good for a shopping snack if you aren't into the mall's food. Lately, I have been pretty grumpy with QFC due to their lack of powdered peanut butter. Yep, this one had labels for it on the shelf, yet, no PB2 to be found. Third QFC...apparently that stuff is now as difficult to get as gold? Anyway, the guy ringing me up with okay. Weird...I was distracted and he asked me if I wanted a bag...and then he asks again "So have we resolved the bag issue?" Ummm....It was never really an issue... Yah, it is a QFC. Whoop de doo. Can you smell my excitement?

Yelp
The University Village QFC is one of the better locations as far as selection goes. I rarely come here anymore since I don't use 520, so it is a bit of a burden to drive on I-90 through downtown Seattle to get here. I was shopping one day at U-Village a few months back and decided to stop into the store for some groceries. I was actually looking for parking elsewhere in the mall, but wasn't finding any so I parked at the QFC lot instead. U-Village shoppers can park here though there is a 90 minute limit. The store looks pretty much the same since the last time I shopped here many years ago. And that is not necessarily a good thing. I think the store could some refurbishing as it looks a bit dimly lit. It is not as bright and shiny as the downtown Bellevue QFC that is comparable to this store. I thought the layout is a little strange since the produce section is sort of towards the middle of the store. I do want to acknowledge that this isn't an ordinary QFC. There is an Einstein Bros. Bagels in-store and this QFC is known for their selection of Jewish/Kosher food products. I even noticed that they offer Kosher sushi here. This is probably the best place to find Kosher items now that the Albertsons on Mercer Island has closed down. As for checking out here, I thought they had a sufficient number of self-checkout machines. Make sure to bring your bags when shopping here, otherwise you will need to pay for a paper bag. I did like that they were offering small paper bags for free to customers. These bags are good for packing your meat items to avoid cross contamination with your other goods. While I do like the selection here, I think this QFC could use a bit of a spruce. The QFC parking time limit is also a bit a short. If you couldn't find space elsewhere at U-Village and decided to park here, it leaves you with a dilemma on time. If you wanted to have a meal, it pretty much makes it impossible to eat and shop at this QFC. You would basically have to choose. Likely having to opt to go to a different QFC or grocery store altogether.

Yelp
Kroger is raking the money in but only making life harder for valiant front-line staff, whose grace under fire I admire. If a mistake occurs when you order online, consider the money gone. (I am still waiting for a refund on an item that wasn't delivered weeks ago in a pick-up situation.) Kroger is clearly not putting its profits into improving electronic or any other systems. It's too busy reducing employee hazard pay and benefits during a pandemic to bother. I'm neither a staff member nor a relative of one, only a longtime customer who is distressed at this company's hypocrisy and disregard.

Yelp
This QFC and I go way back. Like WAY WAY back.... like from when I was 2. We used to live around the corner. I used to come here and trick or treat as a toddler (they gave out apples!) Most of the meals I had were cooked with groceries Mom bought here. Over the years they've revamped their logo and this store has quadrupled in size. Service is still fantastic and I love the HUGE variety of items and selection. It caters to the UW students up the hill. Flower selection rivals the stands at Pike Place Market!

Yelp
Slow, expensive, and inconvenient. For some reason, this QFC set prices higher than the one in Greenwood. Also, they don't seem to care very much about speedy service... I have had checkers walk away from a line of people before in the express lanes, as well as watching checkers spill the customers food as well. I have to wonder how many of their check-out people are just checked out.
