Good food. Good prices. Dry noodles good, beef noodles soup was very good noodles and average broth. Worst version of cucumber salad -- cukes were dry (!?) and sauce was boring. What I make at home is far far better. Food came up SO FAST and that was remarkable

The staff member at the front tonight was incredibly nice and helpful. Our food arrived quickly, hot, and full of flavor. Both noodle dishes we ordered were great and the portions were generous.

Just tried Guilin rice noodles for the first time and I’m absolutely obsessed! The broth is incredibly fragrant and soul-warming, with a subtle spicy and savory depth that keeps you wanting more. The rice noodles themselves are silky-smooth and have the perfect chewy texture. My go-to place for real chinese noodle soups!!! Im on a quest to try all their soups. So far had: Saozi Liuzhou Nanning Guilin Liangpi Beef noodle soup And everyone has its own flavors! Delicious! So i am sure you will find the noodle soup you like.

10/10 dining experience. Food was excellent, staff were nice. Was only visiting for the weekend and if im ever back in LA we will for sure be back.

I try few plates and soups.. the beef noodles soup is giving you should try that, I definitely not like the pork noodles smell and flavor but is the only disappointing of the food of this place.. the most of the plates are so tasty and in a good portion… about the costumer service they are not a big help cause they don’t give recommendations or even help with your options.. or probably it was just the person who attended me… there’s parking in front, close to the E line train station. Little and cozy place.

Good atmosphere with great lightning. Such a nice chill place to eat Chinese food near USC! Ordered the shrimp fried noodle, which was good in flavor— downside is that the dish was overpriced and a bit underwhelming appearance-wise. Also ordered the QuaiLin noodle, which was spicy at the right level— delicious!

This is a good quality Chinese noodle spot near USC. I've been to the other locations in LA and the one in Irvine and this one holds up! Service is quick and ordering is pretty easy. They have a wide variety of noodle dishes to choose from with soup or dry noodles and several appetizers. I ordered the beef noodle soup recently along with a milk tea and it was a filling meal. The soup was light but comforting and there was plenty of noodles inside with several big pieces of beef and plenty of cilantro on top. The noodles were well-cooked and the beef was soft and chewy. The milk tea was creamy and rich and a good compliment to my bowl. There's plenty of seating inside with a bunch of tables on the side and free water on tap. It's clean and well-lit and you can find plenty of people dining in or ordering takeout. Parking in the plaza can be a bit tough during lunch or dinner hours as the lot is a bit small.

ordered from door dash!! i personally really loved the noodles - i got the liang pi, saozi, & zhajiang noodles. oh and the steamed dumplings! (also good) my bf thought the place was just okay, i'm not sure why lol but i'm gonna order from them again tomorrow for lunch cuz i was like YUMMYYYY :) ps. liang pi & zhajiang were my top 2 favs

What I appreciated most about this restaurant was how fast casual it was. You go in and order and the food was ready in about five minutes. However, it is important to know that I went on a Monday evening. I got the Guilin Soup. It was my first time trying this soup, so I'm unsure how authentic it was, but it was fine. It tastes quite similarly to a Vietnamese beef noodle soup that is a little more sour. I probably wouldn't order this again, but it was still nice to try it. The price was fair for large serving. Also, I ordered medium spice (out of their range of no spice, mile, medium, and extra), but it was not spicy at all. I'd be willing to come back and try something else!

Here for the first time... Came to get my daughter some hot soup as she is not feeling well. They have the chicken soup in menu but had none. Everything on the menu looks and sounds delicious. Prices as good as well for the amount given. Place is very clean and organized. Plenty of seating for big groups and is very quiet. Parking is a big of an issue but if you come during working hours m-f you will find parking. Restrooms are available and clean.

Really love the seafood noodles with their fresh rice noodles! Tried it with hot sauce on the side and their broth is sweet and fragrant. Support this local spot if you crave Chinese noodles it's pretty good!

Meh just ok. Big portions with lots of noodles, fast service but not a lot of meat. I order the Beef Tendon and have maybe 3 small prices of meat. I wouldn't go back.

Mapo tofu here is delicious! With a side of Bok Choy and fried noodles. Always ask for the chili oil, adds a good taste too it :) worker at the front is always so sweet, and they have lots of tables

3.5 stars!! there wasn't a good ratio of meat to noodle (a LOT of noodles for not a lot of meat). prices were a little high for noodles and it also costs extra to sub ingredients (cilantro for cucumber) which is OK i guess. originally wanted their zhajiang noodles which were sold out so i settled for the sao zi noodles

If you are looking for a Chinese noodle place to try, this would do. We visits regularly when we want some quick comfort food. Recommend: Dry mix noodle Guilin soup noodle

Loved their Liang pi from the Chinatown location. It tasted a bit dryer here than I remember but still great. My memory could be failing me though. Bf loved the wonton soup. Very generous serving sizes. Great fast service. Limited parking in the shopping plaza. Decent seating area.

LOVE this place and it's close to work so a win is a win. I always switch it up with the menu and it never disappoints. It definitely satisfies the craving. The service is quick! & the people here are nice :)

This is my second time coming, and wow let me tell you. This place is one of my favorite spots, The food is really good and delicious. The people and service here is amazing and top tire. The people here are just so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere here was just so chill and great, there's no one making loud noises or anything. A great place to do work and even spend time with your family. they even have free water!!

Workers are super kind, and the food was solid! I heard about this place from my friend and went for a quick dinner, and it tasted great :)

portions were huge and food was good. if you have a peanut allergy your options are more limited -- luckily i don't. 1 order lasted me 2 filling meals, my bf finished his in one go haha. food came out pretty quickly but didn't love the ambiance. it's self serve and self bus so tables were a bit dirty. would probably be back but get noodles to go next time! (any option besides noodles you're better off going down the street to northern cafe, but the noodles themselves are tasty enough)

Always fresh and delicious soups here I do not get bored of them. Now with cold weather they taste even better.

Love the food however terrible customer service. I'm a server btw so it took a lot for me to even say all this. I was sent a 20% coupon and the cashier said he didn't know how to apply it on their system?? I arrived 1 hour before close and he said I could only do takeout. Then I said ok nvm it's fine, I ordered my food for takeout. He didn't even take my order and told me to do it as an online pickup even though I was physically at the store? The item I wanted wasn't even available online so I had to select something else when he could've just taken my order. I wanted to pay in cash and he loudly sighed with annoyance and asked if I could pay with card instead because he already counted their cash register for the day. The whole exchange was so rude like he didn't even want me to be there or didn't want to do his job at all.

Not really good soup . Not like picture , not cheap price , I don't know , not respect Chinese food , not recommend for news in Chinatown .

The Guilin Noodles are just SO good. There are so many flavors and textures in every bite - just incredible. The parking can be tough but it's worth the trouble. Once inside you order, pay, and they deliver to your table. The space inside is quiet and perfect for a solo lunch.

Parking: According to my friend, their open lot during the afternoon is pretty tough to park in since it's so tight. I've parked there once before at night and it was still a bit difficult. Food: Always love coming to Qin West for comfort food noodles when I'm not craving other common noodle dishes. I often have trouble finding places with similar menus so I find Qin West to be super valuable lol. I love their beef noodle soup on a cold day. But on a hot day, their dry peanut sesame flavored dry noodle hits the spot. I can't handle much spice so the beef noodle soup is just right and not spicy at all. The dry noodles however, even mild, were pretty spicy for me. Ambiance: Seems to be lots of seating available inside but I have yet to dine-in. Service: Guy working the cash register often doesn't understand us when we've asked to change the noodle type in our orders. Might just be easier to stick to whatever type of noodle is already pre-set cause it's not worth the frustration.

I ordered take out here. I ordered liang pi, rou jia mo (the Chinese burger), and another noodle dish. After returning home with my order, I bit into the rou jia mo and discovered a plastic wrapper embedded in the stewed meat filling. I immediately called the store and explained to the young man on the phone, in both English and Chinese, that I had found a plastic wrapper and asked what they would do. The young man literally hung up on me after stammering a non-response. I then drove to the store, with the entire order (almost entirely untouched) and demanded a full refund. I also presented the plastic wrapper in meat (see photo) to them and gave it to them. The young man said no manager was on the premises. He refused to actually respond verbally in any significant way but did confirm he would try to process the refund. The single line cook also came out and saw the plastic wrapper, but offered no explanation or apology or even a response. Line cook said no manager was around, as well. I try to be lenient with hourly workers like the young man at the register and on the phones, but this experience was awful. (this review was posted last year, but was removed by a moderator for reasons that have not been made known to me. I've reposted this review without additional, truthful details about the young man working at the register that may have been flagged as offensive.)

I love this place so much that I basically come here every week! I used to go to the Chinatown location a lot but it's so much more convenient now that they have a USC location. A takeout order only takes them 5-10 mins to make! This place has some of the most authentic Xi'an noodles that I've had in California - their liang pi is delicious and has a strong kick. I am also a huge fan of their zha jiang noodle. The review saying they serve other people's leftovers was unsettling, but so far I have not had a bad experience here. Definitely give this place a try!

The food, omg soooo disappointing I was trying the "liang li" Really soft and really no tenderness at all The place was holding a good location And customer service is friendly So the stars went to service people Otherwise I ll give it one star maybe I ll not come back again

2/5. got the Liuzhou noodles.. they were only okay. It wasn't spicy (I said extra spicy), I had to add extra spices to make it spicier. there wasn't anything that really stood out... except the pickled green bean bits! Those honestly were the best part of my noodles. 4/5. Liangpi noodles were better, thicker, spicier, and more flavorful.. cucumbers were crunchy. Just overall a much better dish. Also got the pork no but I don't eat pork but I heard it was good.

There's a review about "Liang pi" below and I am just so confused because Qin West Noodle has the best and most authentic Liang Pi I've ever had. It's not supposed to be tender? I love how authentic this place is as well as the straight forwardness about no tips and light service. It was exactly what I expected and I loved it.

I've been to the Westwood location and decided to try this one also. This is where you go exclusively if you want Xi'an style pulled noodles and casual fare. The menu is simple, small, but authentic. If you want a true Xi'an dish, they do a great job with the liang pi (thick and sliced, handmade noodles served cold or room temperature with chili oil). It is spicy but you can order it less or more spicy, and even order it completely bland as I did recently. We recently tried two noodle dishes including the liang pi, and their version of zhajiangmein (Chinese sweet bean sauce noodles or what I grew up calling "black noodles"). Their zhajiang was very tomato-filled, so it almost tasted like soy-and-marinara/bolognese sauce to me, which I didn't care much for. We also ordered some pan fried dumplings, which were just okay (I prefer the ones at the nearby Northern Cafe). It's very casual here: you order at the counter, find your own seat, and then they bring your food out to you. The nice thing though is that the pricing is very low (under $10 for items) and the dining room is clean and modern looking. The place is busy and most of the diners here appear to be Chinese and/or Taiwanese immigrants, but it's not as busy here as Northern Cafe.

Qin West has pretty good food. The restaurant is quite small, but modern, and is located near USC. If you are on a budget and want to eat large, tasty dishes, this is the place to go. You definitely need to order the BEEF FLANK NOODLE SOUP $8.95 with flat rice noodles. It tasted like a mixture of pho and beef stew, and was delicious! The beef was tender and juicy... and almost melted in my mouth. Mmm... The GUILIN SOUP $8.95 had beef shank, pickled Chinese cabbage, and a variety of vegetables, along with vermicelli. It was also pretty good. We also had the CHINESE MO $4 with pork. I enjoyed the STEAMED DUMPLING $3.95, but you have got to order the PAN FRIED DUMPLING $4.50! It is off the hook! Texture and flavor are on point. Yum! We also tried some of their drinks located in a small refrigerator. I had the HERB TEA $1.75, which tastes almost exactly like the Vietnamese chysanthemum tea. I will definitely be back when I am in the area. The only downside about this place was the parking. There was none on a weekend around 11am, but you can park on the street nearby and walk over. This way, you'll have more room to store all of the food you're about to eat! Happy eating!

Great spot to try & eat at that has a more traditional authentic Chinese flavor from the Xin Provence/area rather than your typical Americanized Panda Express. Portions are very generous on budget prices which is great of you're a student from the surrounding area. Faves: Liuzhou soup Pan Fried dumplings Beef flank noodle soup Cucumbers Ambiance & decor: Modern decor. Clean & well maintained inside dining area. Tip: Try their drinks & teas; many were very flavorful.

Service is extremely terrible. Person who takes orders is extremely rude to people and doesn't know how to talk to people respectfully. He shouldn't honestly even be there if he's gonna be a rude person. This place needs hire a new cashier honestly. Worst experience I don't recommend this place

This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. This place needs to be shut down already. Has the WORST customer service. The line cook needs to be fired. The food had hair in it. It was undercooked. They didn't care at all. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. I hope the owner reads this and takes action.

The food looked like it was warmed up in the microwave. It was cold and the meat was undercooked pork. It was absolutely disgusting. When I let them know They said, "You not liking it is not my problem". And refused to refund me. They didn't even offer to remake it or give me something different. Worst service of my entire life. NEVER GO HERE.

I go to USC and I've been ordering food from here for a while, the cashier lady who seems to be new here is very unprofessional and impatient, really disappointed and won't come here anymore.

THEY RECYCLED AND SERVED OTHER PEOPLE'S LEFTOVERS, THERE ARE BITE MARKS ON MY FOOD. NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. (Please read) Dear Qin West, you've lost my trust forever. This is a critical time for food safety since there's a possibility that coronavirus might spread around. Honestly I'd sue the restaurant if I'm physically there(I ordered on Postmates). All my friends know that I love this place and order food from Qin West on Postmates at least once a week, I recommended this place to so many of my Chinese friends and American friends before. However the most gross thing happened today, all the food I ordered were not fresh and Liang Pi has a weird disgusting texture, it tastes like it has been made a long time ago. Then I found a line of bite mark on the food. I was completely grossed out and extremely disappointed. I need to let people who eat here know what they're getting into. NEVER order food from a business that doesn't have moral standard.

I saw this restaurant pop up and thought I would give it a try. Since I'm from Guilin, I ordered the Guilin Noodles. I gave this restaurant a 5 because they were extremely quick, their price was good, the food was plenty and delicious and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it. The food came in what felt like less than one minute. Another cool thing... they didn't try to over sell you. The cashier told me I ordered enough when I said my order. I asked him if I should get a veggie dish as well, but instead of trying to make me order more... they were honest. That really is a plus for me!

2nd time but different location. I tried in DTLA; not a lot people & they have street parking. I ordered a take out, Liang Pi since I heard it was good. After I tried it, for some reason the noodle itself were tooo salty! Im not sure if thats suppose be but its literally killing me and couldnt enjoy eat the spicy flavor . I preferred in Santa Anita since they have stronger flavor & perfect noodle texture.

Very disappointed at the way the cashier handled my order. He was quick to rack up charges rather than being upfront about the added charges. And all with a sly grin and playing dumb. He needs to learn English. Avoid this place and try the ones in Chinatown or the UCLA location.

3.5 out of five! Qin West is conveniently located right next to USC but the plaza they are in is rather small and difficult to find parking, so I would recommend parking elsewhere. The restaurant is almost designed like a fast food restaurant. You order up front, sit down to eat, and then pay at the cashier in the front after you finish eating; you also grab your own to go boxes and bags. The seating is also limited so I wouldn't recommend going with big parties over 8. We ordered the spicy wontons, beef noodle soup, steamed veggies with garlic, and the pork potstickers. They were very fast with their service and we got our food within ten minutes of ordered--the veggies did take awhile longer. The wontons were very good, well cooked, and full of flavor. It is different than the traditional dish, paired with soup instead of the hot sauce oil, but it was nice to try something different. The beef noodle soup also had great flavor and both the beef noodle soup and wontons were in big bowls so it was definitely enough to fill you up! I would recommend skipping the veggies because they were drenched in cornstarch and garlic and it was slightly more expensive but way less appetizing. We noticed that everyone was ordering this burger looking meal and I definitely want to check that out at their new location opening this summer (2018) at the Westfield Santa Anita! Overall, Qin West Noodle is a slightly more expensive Chinese restaurant that is definitely marketed towards the young people who want to take a great Instagram picture.

So happy this place has liang pi! And it's quite decent and the portion size is very large!! Priced at $7.95 and probably enough for 2 adults. I choose to go it and eat it all by myself. I have tried their other beef noodle soups here and it's just okay. I do want to come back to try the zhazhang noodles next time though. The parking lot is a blasted disaster. I would say try to come around the off hours. That Popeyes drive through is pretty popular and block off all kinds of routes of traffic in this lot.

Drove from castaic to this location rather than Chinatown one because I wanted to see the difference. Disappointed. My order was wrong. How can you mess up the first order of the day? No one there you just opened, really. To add the credit machine stopped working (it happens ) I just happened to have a 20 in the truck. I'll stick with Chinatown location from now on

Walked in during Friday lunch time, very quick service as no one was here. Ordered the wonton soup, spicy. It was okay, broth bit bland for my taste. Wontons themselves were also bland. The filling looked very processed and gray color. Overall not bad for a quick lunch, especially for students. Spent 32 for two people, one item each.

This is totally recommend Tourists from China love it They are asking if they could come here everyday !

Qin West absolutely deserves more hype than it's getting. I haven't found a single restaurant in west LA besides this one (shout out to Qin West Noodle's Westwood location), or really any outside of Chinatown/SGV/you-know-the-drill that serves such a delicious and authentic take on Chinese noodle dishes. This restaurant is my beautiful shining beacon of Chinese food that I haven't been able to find anywhere else (excluding the aforementioned areas that are very very far from me). The menu may seem intimidating to people who are unfamiliar with Chinese cuisine, but believe me when I say all of these ingredients are used in authentic Chinese cooking and are also all delicious as hell. The awkward semi-table-service is also part of the authentic experience in my opinion. That one's not something I'm as proud of, but it's true and a sign of good, cheap food to come. I wholly recommend the Liang Pi and Saozi Noodle dishes. Spice is taken seriously in this kitchen, so be caution with your chosen spice level. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the west side!!!!!! Very yummy, many big piece of meat, and very tasty since day 1 and never change. Only one thing, in the morning the noodle soup taste much more tasty than the afternoon or evening, if you can make it all the same taste at different timing that will be perfect, thank you guys! Keep on it! Thank you so much for everyone work in the restaurant, always so nice! Definitely support!!!!

I recently grabbed a late night dinner with my friends here and was excited to indulge in one of my favorite dishes: the Liang Pi. The bouncy noodles alongside the flavorful, spicy sauce really hit the spot on a cold day! My friend got the non-spicy Wonton Soup and that definitely revitalized us for a long night ahead. Definitely one of my go-to spots in the USC area for some comforting soup and noodles.

If you're looking for a place with really good noodles from the Guilin area, Qin West will hit the spot. Though they are known for their spicy noodles, they also have non-spicy noodle dishes, or you can adjust the spiciness level! This location is near USC. The parking lot is a decent size, but it can get pretty busy since they share the lot with Dirt Dog and other businesses. Service is very fast and efficient! After ordering, I was impressed by how fast our food came out! My favorite appetizers are the pan fried dumplings and cucumbers. The pan fried dumplings were so yummy--perfectly crisp outside yet juicy inside. We also got the Cold Dish Cucumbers, which were a little spicy but still very refreshing! I've tried a variety of their noodle dishes. The Liang Pi includes handmade noodles, bean sprouts, cucumber, and peanuts. I loved the handmade flat noodles! They only make limited quantities of this each day. The Beef Flank Noodle Soup is more of your traditional beef noodle soup. The beef is super tender and melts in your mouth! It's such a comforting dish! The Zhajiang Noodle is my favorite. It consists of chopped tomato, pork, cucumber, and noodles. It is simple yet very flavorful! The Guilin Soup is their signature dish. It has beef shank, pickled Chinese cabbage, vegetables, Lily flowers, bean curd skin, peanuts, sour beans, and rice noodles in broth. The Dry Mix Rice Noodle is similar to the Guilin Soup but is served dry-style with a pot-stewed egg. Lastly, the Liuzhou Soup has sour bamboo shoot, pickled Chinese cabbage, vegetables, peanuts, Lily flowers, bean curd skin, and rice noodles. They have a cart with self-serve chili and vinegar, so you can mix your own sauces. On this cart are also extra bowls in case you want to share, as well as to-go containers and bags. Very convenient!

Update: The Liang Pi noodles are still 5 stars worthy. The guy working the register... 2 stars. Dude seems upset every time I call / pick up food. When I called in my order, I asked for extra cucumber and bean sprouts. Somehow he heard extra beef which doesn't make any sense considering there is no beef in the Liang Pi to begin with. Also, the Spicy Wonton soup is delicious as well. So as much as I don't want to deal with the dude working here, I will put up with him because the food is that good.

Never been to a place like this before--fast food noodles :D Why has it taken me so long?? Well... better late than never, I suppose ;P As usual, went w/ the husb :) Here, you order first, seat yourself, and they bring the plates to ya. The menu isn't too extensive (sometimes a good thing) w/ some images (which all looked good!!). What does one do in that situation?? I'm just glad there was nobody behind us in line cause it took me a few to decide on what to order. I ended up deciding on the very first dish listed--Liang Pi. Whenever I see any dish w/ the word 'spicy,' I'm immediately biased towards it, haha! I can't help it :P Liang Pi would be good for a vegetarian (I think) because it doesn't have any meat, just good amount of handmade noodles (friggin' YUM!), bean sprouts, cucumber, and peanuts. Another thing that made me want to order this is that there's a limited quantity for each day--that's got to say something, right? When my plate arrived and I took that first bite... boy, oh, boy, it practically tasted how I imagined it would taste--DELISH and I didn't even have to add any additional hot sauce of any sort as I usually do (even if it supposedly came spicy). I didn't finish it; that's how much they gave--the price rocked! :D The husb finished it, though, haha! The husb ordered their Beef Flank Noodle Soup. I thought my noodles were good till I had his noodles--HOLY MOLY!! The texture and flavor was spot-on!!! Writing and thinking about it now makes me wish I had some next to me RIGHT NOW! Hahaha! What I kept on hearing from Eli (husb) was how much meat was in the bowl--he thinks there was more meat than noodles... when does that ever happen?? So, needless to say, we'll definitely have to make visits in the future to try their other plates! Do yourselves a favor and make a stop here!

The food is very good and filling, I love the saozi noodles. Parking is horrendous though.
