"Part kebab-and-falafel house, part no-frills takeout pizza operation, Q’s Halal Pizza — the only pizza-focused spot in the local Q’s mini-chain — serves some of the best pies in Richmond, thanks in part to its kebab house–inspired topping combinations, like the fantastic Mama Mary’s (pepperoni, gyro meat, and red onion). Not in the mood for pizza? You can also get a traditional kebab or falafel plate, or chow down on a big order of some of the East Bay’s most succulent chicken wings." - Luke Tsai, Eater Staff

"Here’s a good rule of thumb: If a restaurant specializes in some non-Western take on pizza — if it serves Indian pizza or Mexican pizza, and so on — there’s a pretty good chance it also does a bang-up version of fried chicken wings. Take Q’s Halal Pizza, which serves some of the best pizza in Richmond, thanks in part to its kebab house–inspired topping combinations, like a pie with pepperoni, gyro meat, and red onions. But its succulent, well-seasoned wings are the real star, available in a spicy sauce-soaked version and, even better, one that’s just slathered with an intensely flavorful dry rub." - Janelle Bitker, Luke Tsai

I really only came out here for the world famous "Mitchell Ice cream" that was for 18 a pop. Great place with nothing but kind people that is always awalys so helpfull. I can't speak on anything else that they serve at this location, but if you're looking for the best ice cream, this is one of the spots.

I always wanted to try this place. Why did I wait so long? Halal pizza intrigued me. A pizza and ice cream shop intrigued me. The name Q intrigued me—hopefully it’s not associated with that other Q….. They have mediterranean food. So I guess they put some that on top of the pizza and YUMMM!!! Who knew lamb could be so good on pizza! I think it’s like lamb kabob. Or is it lamb kebap? Or is it gyro? But it’s gooooood! It’s a good pizza. The strength is in the topping selection. You kinda just gotta go and check it out. Limited seating. Free parking on the street. Close to freeway. Easy walk to lots of other shops and services. Super friendly service. If you eat specially prepared food like halal for Muslim or other reasons, but you love pizza, this place is for you. He said all the meet is hand cut. I didn’t check out the bathroom. I’ll go back. It’s already like my second favorite pizza around. Too bad they don’t have gluten free GF for my wife allergic to gluten. If you choose to give a thumbs-up 👍🏽 or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Best pizza, size is very big but it’s a little bit pricy!

I used to always come here and the pizza was always good! Came here about a week ago and I think there’s new owner. Order the pizza I always get “halal pepperoni” there’s was barely any meat on there. I tried it and the pizza tasted weird the cheese tasted spoiled as well.

I ordered the chicken gyro today and it was full of flavor! When I walked in the owners were very welcoming and friendly. I was able to place an order for pick up during my lunch hour and it was ready by the time I got there. Will definitely be returning with friends and family.

Waffle fries, waffle fries, waffle fries. They were so warm and crispy. And my flafel wrap in warm pita was great! Nice crunchy flafel with veggies and spicy chutney. Really good. This place was awesome find for the area.

We ordered Combo plate and chicken biryani. The customer service was very bad. (Note to the restaurant - When you bring the food to the customer please check with them if they need anything or how the food is. Care about what customers have to say, request or need anything. There was zero communication after food was brought to our table. Biggest complaint: Chicken Kabab cubes were totally uncooked. $19.99 for the combo plate is as it is expensive and if it's uncooked it's totally not worth the money. We had to throw away the Chicken. Chicken biryani rice was over cooked and watered down. It was still edible. Food was expensive. Around $39 for two small size plates(chicken biryani and combo plate) So this rating is for very bad customer service and over priced uncooked food. Will never go back there again. 😒

Ordered the large combo pizza and chicken bowl. My family LOVED it. The bowl was very tasty, sauce was incredible and pizza was cooked perfectly. Pizza was much bigger than I thought it would be. Will definitely be coming back
