The Best Meat-and-Three Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Q’s Restaurant is absolutely worth the travel and traffic down to East Point. Favorites at this cafeteria include daily specials like rip tips, oxtails, fried pork chops, and cube steak with sides of mac and cheese and green beans washed down with a blend of tea and lemonade." - Sarra Sedghi

I’ve been eating here for years!! The food and staff are always great!!! Food taste just like it came out of my grandmas kitchen!!! Most customers are friendly and polite and glad to be there! The entire world has increased prices! I love the fact that Qs restaurant is priced decently so they I can always feed my 4 babies! Dnt forget about Qs Meat Market located at the next corner!!! This family has really become family!!! Hopefully the restaurant reopens for the new year so we can enjoy those good ole greens and black eye peas!!!

I came here for lunch one day and everything looked good on the hot bar. However this isn't true soul food, it lacks seasoning and tastes like it's straight out of a can. The customer service was exceptional but the food made me rate a low score. Everybody's taste buds are different. I've been eating soul food my entire life and the plate I had didn't taste anything like soul food. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was nice.

I hadn't been in a while I went after finding out Bank of America has eased out of East Point the bank is GONE nothing left but the ATMs!! I stopped in Q's I ended up with Cubed Steak and not the Chicken Fried Steak I asked for. Why did the server tell me that the rice counted as a side after the fact?? I ended up spending $26 on lunch!! I was charged for the extra side and the drink was extra!! I know things have gone up but that was ridiculous!! Whatever happened to the good ole COMBO?? The adding the drink separate is a big charge extra added to the total with tax!! The staff should let the customer know UPFRONT not after you've taken the money. They should also have the food marked so people know what they're getting and the price beforehand!! Some people come in with a budget and it would be very helpful if the staff supplied the pricing so people can stick to their budgets. I would've been embarrassed as hell otherwise as I wasn't coming in to spend that much glad I had it to spend!! That up to 10 minutes was the time in line and going to the table and not waiting for a table. The peach cobbler was the bomb.com!! Glad I got a large size it was good but a bit pricey at $5.00!!

My first time eating here. I got the turkey wings and boiled okra. The turkey wings were bland. The okra was.... the rice was good. Smh!

Google
Solid to-go Soul food in East Point. Everything wholesome and rich, been eating here for lunch for a few months and is always solid.

Consistently delicious! Home cooked and everything is from scratch. Seasonal vegetables are always in rotation! Love the atmosphere! Feels like coming home & being greeted by family every time !

Google
Omg it was so good it hit the spot for me I’m just getting off the plane and I wanted some food food this is the place to be as you can see in the picture I demolished my food

Google
As a pair from Melbourne, Australia, looking for soul food, Q’s did not disappoint. My Mum and I came to Q’s off of a local recommendation after touching down in Atlanta. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was delightful, and the workers were lovely. Nothing not to like about this place. I particularly loved the rib tips and mac n cheese, and my mum loved the okra and collard greens. See you again soon (hopefully)!! Hugo and Robyn

Yelp
food is always fresh and good, wish they still had longer hours but I understand it's hard to get help.

Yelp
This place is incredible! Just damn good food. I had the country fried steak with greens, Mac & cheese and cornbread. All was delicious. Service was fast & friendly too. It's a gem I wish we'd found sooner.

Linda O.

Yelp
I was in the East Point area & went into Q's based on the positive reviews. I ordered neck bones they were tender, meaty, scrumptious. The collard greens had the perfect seasonings. The Mac & cheese was flavorful (just a tad salty). The corn bread muffins were perfect. Friendly staff the service was fast & cafeteria set up. I will return with my family.

Yelp
DATE: 10/30/2019 530pm ish PARKING: Street Parking, we got lucky and got a spot right out front. Since the weather has changed and its raining now, we wanted a hot meal so we rolled up on Q's. The restaurant is nice and clean and they have a nice soul food selection to choose from. You can dine in or take it to go, the choice is yours. The service is A1, very friendly...they even let me sample some of the beets, which by the way were so good. FOOD: I tried the turkey wings with cabbage and black eyed peas. Very delicious. This food was not over seasoned, it was just perfect for me. I'll be back as they have several other items I'd like to indulge in.

Yelp
I typically order the baked chicken and veggies. But today, I wasn't hungry and was meeting my bestie for lunch. Since I arrived early and he was running late, I ordered a fried pork chop. OMG, this was one of the juiciest and well seasoned pork chop that I've ever had. I'm an excellent cook and baker but I had to give a quick shout out because this soul food place is the real deal. All their fresh veggies, meats and desserts are worth the drive to East Point. They're also conveniently located near the East Point Marta train station across from Bank of America, Oz Pizza and Thumbs Up dinner. All these places are to die for

Yelp
Please tell me why it takes 45 minutes to make Bacon, potatoes and eggs? That is all. I don't care what time I come in this spot it is super duper slow. I have never been here where I didn't wait for cook to order food for a long time. Ever. As a business you want to satisfy the customer and this doesn't do the job. It would be different if my food was off the chain great but it wasn't. My bacon was burnt, the potatoes were lack luster and the portions are not good for a plate of food costing darn near $8. I want to keep patronizing this black owned business but they need to do better with cook to order breakfast. And stop being so stingy with the food.

Yelp
Friends and I wanted to go to another place to eat but there was a long wait. We put our names on the list and walked down the street when we saw this place was open. It's located across the street from a bank and parking lot. If it's busy, you will have to drive around once or twice for an open spot. You can park at the bank when it is closed. I checked the reviews to see what they were about and it seemed ok so we decided to give it a try. It's your cafeteria style place for lunch or dinner. I did see eggs in the posted photos but that was not on the menu when I looked. We had lunch/dinner instead and we were satisfied but nothing to rave about. My friends ordered the baked chicken and they said it was great which is a lot because they are very particular. I had the 2pc whiting with sides. I do like the variety of sides the have for vegetables. The fish was lightly battered which I liked and decent sizes also. The mac 'n cheese was less than desirable as i have had better. Thankfully they had collard greens that weren't cooked with pork, beef or anything else. I always have a hard time finding a place that serves it vegetarian style in the south. My drink was an Arnold Palmer so I could cut the sweetness from the tea but it seems like both the lemonade and the sweet tea had loads of sugar. I had to dilute it with water - not trying to get the 'sugar'. Would I go again? Probably not but if you are starving like we were, it's cool to fill your belly.

Yelp
The food smells good, they didn't have the rib tips so I ordered the turkey wings. For side items I tried the collard greens, and Mac and cheese. My friend didn't want his corn bread so to my pleasant surprise I had two! I took the food to go and the price wasn't terrible. The turkey wings were pretty good, I never order them but I liked them. The skin was super fatty so I peeled it off but the taste and flavors were great. The collards were ok, not terrible but not too memorable either. The Mac and cheese was not my favorite like home style baked Mac and cheese, it was a little watery to be honest with baked cheese on top. The cornbread was freshly baked but a little grainy almost tasted vegan. The restaurant is in east point and there isn't much parking in front but there are parking lots across the street. The food is precooked and sits in heated pans until it is ordered. The lady who served us was a little mean to my friend but was nice to me so umm I didn't have a problem with it since my friend is a jerk most days. To be honest though I've had better food so I don't see myself making the trip back but if I do I'll try the turkey wings because that was the best thing I've had in my encounter.

Yelp
The food was an 8/10. I ordered fried chicken, mac n cheese, yams, and collard greens. The cornbread was more on the dry side, and the collard greens were a little too salty. (I couldn't finish/enjoy the collard greens). Also, the customer service could be improved. The rest of of the food was pretty much on point!
google avatar

Jacqueline R.

Yelp
My first visit was for fried chicken, collards and mac and cheese. I received generous portions and two pieces of chicken. Delicious! My second visit was not so good. I paid $5 extra for a second piece of chicken because the first two pieces she gave me she said were "too big" for the price. So instead of getting me a smaller piece to go with the one bigger one, she gave me one piece! That wasn't right. I did not have time to argue about some chicken so I just paid the extra charge for the second piece, and decided the second visit was my last visit. OBTW, the green beans were canned and over cooked!

Yelp
I went to Q's on Monday and ordered pork chops, greens, cabbage and banana pudding. YUUUMMMMY! I stop by Q's Restaurant in East Point often. This is my go to place every time I want yummy & delicious southern food when I don't feel like cooking it myself.. EVERY time the food is always hot & delicious! I LOVE this place! I hate that this coronavirus pandemic effected their business, like so many others. The hours they're open now are much shorter and they no longer do breakfast. However, I am beyond happy that they survived the coronavirus lockdown and are back open from 11am - 3pm. If you want great southern food that is still affordable and not some highly overpriced or overrated place like so many places in Atlanta...then come to Q's Restaurant. The desserts are also really good, but you gotta get there early before they sell out...peach cobbler, banana pudding and different flavors of cakes, ALL of them DELICIOUS!
google avatar

Da'Lyrical M.

Yelp
This is the best soul food restaurant in East Point... You will enjoy the southern food and atmosphere... Most of all, your pockets will thank you... Breakfast is cooked to order, so placing your order by phone is best if you're ordering a takeout breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a hurry... The food is always fresh... Personally, I'm picky about my macaroni and cheese, and because theirs taste like the boxed kind, I choose not to partake... But all else is great! The desserts taste like your grandma baked them... This has been my favorite soulfood place for the past 10 years... And I've never regretted an order...

Yelp
Sooooo delicious. I like to grab lunch here. Sometimes there can be a long line but it really just depends on when you come 12-1230 is longest. I usually get the Cornish hen(put some gravy on it) or chicken and dumplins. My sides that are tasty: cabbage, mashed potatoes and gravy or mac n cheese. Those are all good. It comes with cornbread(needs butter). For the most important part, that bomb ass delicious banana pudding. The best, always! Parking: this sucks. It's super annoying coming here to park. There's a few spaces out front but also lots of businesses and two banks. It's annoying and good luck. Don't Park in the bank parking, either the cops will tell you to move or you might get towed. You can park along side the street by oz pizza if that helps.

Yelp
I've been eating here for about a year. Today I found a dead roach in my drink. I came back to the restaurant to handle it. There was no care what's do ever. I asked to speak to the owner the workers were reluctant to give me the owners name. I'm very disgusted I could throw up my insides....the fact that I finished the entire drink then open the lead and saw this made me so sick......I couldn't finish the my food.....i took the drink back up there and the worker offered me the money back for the drink...I didn't accept it because I felt the entire meal should have been refunded as I didn't even finish it...13 dollars isn't much but I could have spent it some where without the experience of a dead roach...I do not recommend this restaurant at all. They also allow ppl to continue to get ice from the machine as I was standing there.

Yelp
Great southern comfort food. Items are served cafeteria style with a HUGE variety of both meat and veggie dishes. It was also under $20 for two adult meals so very reasonably priced.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the worst. Food is tasleess and bland. Difinitely nothing to write homr about. We were here because Thumb's Up was crowded.

Yelp
Good food, the chef really knows how to season the food! Never salty always delicious! A quaint setting but family environment.
google avatar

Nekia S.

Yelp
Lovely little shop in downtown east point. Served cafeteria style. Staff seems nice enough. BUT Piccadilly and S&S taste far better. So unless you like diabetic and hypertension friendly bland food, go there for a quick lunch. The greens are sans flavor, the Mac and cheese tastes odd like fake than blue box Kraft cheese, the cornbread has no salt, sugar or butter in the mix. Only the dressing was passable on my veggie plate and it even required gravy. BUT my dad loves this place, so if you're over 70 (or not southern and don't know any better), do go!

Yelp
So one of my nearest and dearest was passing through Atlanta and wanted to get together for breakfast! Quick yelp search for stuff in the area led me to another destination, but as I passed by, I noticed a steady stream of people in and out of this place, plus content customers in the window. Hmmmm. Duly noted. So as it were, the other place was jam packed, and I suggested we double back here. So glad we did! Q's was new to me, and it was a total hit. They have a large hot table that was already piled high with all sorts of delectable looking soul food southern goodness for lunch. Tons and tons of veggies....everything looked fresh and freaking delicious. But, I had a taste for breakfast stuff, and it was still 1045. No worries. They still did breakfast to order. I ended up getting salmon croquettes (flashback to being a kid), heavenly grits, 2 eggs over medium, a biscuit and a coffee. My friend had a ham, egg and cheese biscuit with a side of cheese grits and a cran-apple juice...and this was all under 20 bucks. Score. Portions? Quite pleasing to this chubby beast. His biscuit sandwich was palm sized and there was a nice slab of ham on there too! I'm a stickler for eggs prepared with love, and these were perfection. No brown crispy edges, no watery whites and perfect yolks. Love love love this! Admittedly my my biscuit was not the best thing I've ever had but I was too full to need it, and it seemed perfect on a breakfast sandwich. I was thrilled to find this spot and will be back to sample lunch!!

Yelp
Let's get something out of the way first: I was born and raised in the deep South on my great-grandmother's decades old family recipes handed down. I KNOW soul food! This restaurant has no soul and I hardly think what they serve should be called "food". Is it edible? yes. Is it worth your money? maybe. Let me also add that I grew up in East Point so this is not my first visit to Q's. It has been in the community for awhile, but the food has not gotten better. The meat entrees are not too bad. Such as, the turkey wings or baked chicken; but it doesn't take a five star chef to throw meat in an oven and bake it. I think the delight in a soul food restaurant comes from its' side dishes and desserts; which represent the creativity of the recipes that African slaves would churn out with the vegetable crops and little table scraps that plantation owners gave them. IMO, the vegetables taste like dressed up canned versions of something served in a prison cafeteria. I think the best side dish they serve is the dressing; which does happily remind me of food cooked for the holidays. (It's very moist and flavorful.) The corn muffins melt like butter in your mouth and one of these stars belong to them alone. It's very difficult to find a restaurant that serves fresh rutabagas cooked southern-style: Q's serves them but they taste oddly seasoned or overly-ripened. A constant disappointment in my life. Almost like a bad ex-boyfriend that you keep taking back because you hope that one day it will get better...but it doesn't. The macaroni and cheese is oily and lackluster. It even looks suspect when it is being served to you because while it is presented in the traditional baked casserole style dish, there's no substance under the melted layer of cheese. Where's the oomph?! There is none. Just overly boiled noodles stuck together by what may seem to be butter or...I don't even know. It's a mystery. Stouffer's frozen tastes much better. Q's is my choice when I do not want a drive-thru bag of oil from a fast food joint and it's very convenient because it's a stone's throw from the East Point train station, but it's not anything to write home about. The interior is set-up like a tiny cafe version of Picadilly's. You go through an entry point into a line where you see a cafeteria style buffet of hot-water serving pans filled with food and serving spoons hanging off the side. You pick your items, and move to the end of the line where you meet the cash register. Oh, I almost forgot! I have tried a few of the dessert cakes there and they aren't too bad. They have a very dense, cornbread-like consistency. They aren't light, fluffy or rich like classic homemade versions. However, they are worth giving a try on a good day. The owner is usually the one checking you out at the cash register: a beige colored Black woman, about mid-late 40's with short hair. She pretends to be friendly but it doesn't feel genuine. .

Yelp
Last week, I was trying to find a place for lunch that I hadn't been before. I checked my Scoutmob app and saw Q's and thought it sounded good. I looked on Yelp and saw that it got pretty good reviews, so I decided to check it out. A friend and I met up at Q's and the first thing I noticed was it has a pretty bad parking situation. There are a few spots out front, but they fill up pretty quickly at lunch. There's a bank across the street with a large lot, but they have signs advising that you'll be towed. So after driving around the block a few times, I saw a car with it's reverse lights and I quickly pulled in. My friend found a spot just around the corner and walked over. We get inside and everything looked pretty good. Some people called it a "hole in the wall" on Yelp, but I disagree. Yes, it seems kind of small when you first walk in, but it opens up into a second room and everything seems clean. They have a nice spread of food and I couldn't decide what I wanted. I ultimately decided on the turkey wings, mac 'n cheese, dressing, and a lemonade. My boy got fish, greens, mac 'n cheese, and a soda. It was a LOT of food! The total came to only $17.30 after tax, and with my Scoutmob discount it was only $8.30 TOTAL for both meals!!! With that great of a deal, I just hoped it was halfway decent and it would have been worth it. It was actually all very good. The wings were smokey, the mac 'n cheese was seasoned and cheesy, and the dressing was great. This is a place that I'll definitely return. If they fixed the parking issue, they'd get 5 stars from me!

Yelp
This is my(JackieBrown) eatery.......everyday ! Breakfast, lunch, sometimes as I leave for home, I pick up dinner

Yelp
Decent soul food spot in East Point. My partner and I never heard of this place until they were featured on the Scoutmob app for 50% off, so we decided on a whim to try this place out on a weekday night. Q's is a cafeteria style restaurant, my partner and I were the only people in line when we arrived so we were able to ask about their different food selections and they recommended the fried turkey wings, which is what my partner ordered and I opted for the fried chicken breast. For our 2 sides, my partner chose the sweet white corn and turnip greens and I chose the mac and cheese and cornbread dressing. Both meals came with a cornbread muffin. We had to wait about ten minutes for our food because they fry the chicken fresh. The restaurant has a decent sized seating area and a couple LCD televisions on the walls. We decided to have our meal to-go and they showed us our food before leaving the restaurant. I like when restaurants do that, it shows that they care about their customer's satisfaction. I enjoyed all of the food, it was very delicious and fresh. My partner was not quite impressed with it though for some reason. I would definitely return here and would recommend this place to others who may find themselves in or around East Point, GA and with the Scoutmob app deal you can't beat the price. Less than $8 for two good portion sized dinners.

Yelp
The people are nice here but the food is certainly overrated. Hopefully the breakfast is more flavorful than the lunch here. I showed up at 10:20am and was told that lunch started at 10:30am. Ten minutes isn't bad so I waited. By the time I got my food I couldn't wait to dig in, but I didn't get that home cooked flavor that I expect from soul food. The food was bland and the Mac and cheese was watery as if they skipped out on the eggs and real cheese. It was certainly Southern "Styled" But looks are deceiving. They are not a Soul Food establishment. Almost 10 bucks for pretend soul food isn't bad but why even waste ten bucks when you have to use almost an entire bottle of hot sauce to add flavor to everything. ...I should have waited and cooked for myself. And WHY do they advertise that they have peach cobbler but it is NEVER out?! Anytime and everytime I show up it's never ready! If they took Red velvet cake off the menu they may as well take off the peach cobbler too. Save your money and skip out on this place.

Yelp
Great chicken and dumplings--just like my favorite aunt used to make. The rib tips and fried green tomatoes are tasty, as well. Southern food done well. If you see the German chocolate cake--buy it immediately.

Yelp
Four years ago I discovered Q's and have enjoyed their food and service many times since. It's a great place to take friends as it's true southern cooking at it's best. When I was remodeling my home I took the entire work crew there several times. It's seldom to see a staff work as hard as this family and employees. They are quick and efficient. From the kitchen to the staff that keeps the dining room clean they move with purpose and work hard to ensure a great dining experience. This is what great southern food is all about and fantastic southern hospitality.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
My boss and I were looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Your establishment exceeded our expectations. 4 stars because the Mac and Cheese could have been better but overall an awesome meal.

Christina J.

Yelp
I soooo wish New York breakfast spots served chicken fried steak! But then again maybe my waistline is grateful that we don't see it often in NY. My friend & her husband picked me up at the airport & we drove straight to this spot. Yes I ate 2 breakfasts in 2 hours, don't judge me! I'm on vacation. Nice cozy spot that had all the southern favorites. Staff was friendly & the food was hot & good. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs & cheese on toast. What an awesome combo! The steak had a nice crust & was flavorful & tender. The eggs were scrambled with soft fluffy curds, just how I like them, with an ample piece of American cheese that was melted perfectly. A couple of splats of hot sauce & I was in heaven. The toast was crisp with butter, yet soft on the inside. And don't let me forget the fried green tomatoes I got on the side. They needed a little salt but everything else about them was delicious. I could eat here every day for breakfast. Hats off to my friends husband for bringing us here. Great choice.

Jakesha W.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. I purchased two pork chop meals and the total was $13.99! The food was hot a fresh. I ordered it to go because i wanted to get in before traffic got bad, but even with that the portions were a good size. Definitely a great meal for the price.

Melissa H.

Yelp
I had high hopes, but alas was very disappointed. I ordered the Cornish hen, dressing and cabbage and gravy. None of it was seasoned at all. I don't know how anyone would consider this to be soul food restaurant. Cornish hen - maybe salt and pepper. dressing - maybe saw 2 pieces of onion and slightly more celery. No green pepper, no poultry seasoning, no sage. Gravy - had absolutely no taste, just oily cabbage - straight up cooked in just water, Other veggies seem to appear to be straight out the can. Not worth the time, and though reasonably priced, not worth the money. You would come out better, in taste at least, eating a Marie Callendar's frozen meal.
google avatar

Cachet N.

Yelp
Would not return or recommend. Food was not tasty to say the least. Was either salt or absolutely none at all straight out the can. The peach cobbler smh. We should have driven the extra distance to Walter's soul food.

Tonya M.

Yelp
I've been going to Q's for some time. The food is usually pretty good. However some times it can be bland. But what soul food restaurant charges you for cranberry sauce, when you have ordered cornbread dressing?!
google avatar

Guido L.

Yelp
Went there for lunch. Neighborhood seems a little rough. It took awhile for Q to warm up to us, but she eventually did. I tried as much as I could since this was my one shot at soul food. The sweet potatoes and rib tips were great. The baked turkey was also good. The ox tail was okay. The fried chicken didn't have any flavor and the chicken fried steak was bad. The sweet tea was too sweet. The carrot cake was good also.

Yelp
We were looking for a spot to get a quick bite to eat. It was in-between lunch and dinner so we weren't quite sure where to go. We found this location close to the bank that we just left. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place. They offered to fry our fish order fresh. It didn't take long to cook. The fish tasted awesome. The vegetables were tasty. The food prices were extremely reasonable. We'll be back!

Yelp
I am a southern woman who loves southern food. The Q Restaurant is a small spot in the heart of downtown East Point. It's not large enough for groups, but it definitely will accommodate a small group having lunch or dinner. They post their health department scores right at the register, so you know how well or poor they are doing before you pay and eat your food. I've been several times and I never leave disappointed, oh an they have great inspection scores. I don't eat pork, but everytime I come those prok chops make me want to change my mind they always look sooooo good! I usually order the liver & onions, the saulsberry steak, the baked chicken, the oxtails, the chicken & dumplings or fried fish as my main entree (not all at one time, on different visits!LOL) I have tried every side item they offer and they are all just delicious. The most I've spent is about $8 for my meal and my stomach is always satisfied and full. I don't have to eat again for hours, it really sticks with me for a while, which is rear because I have a high metabolism. I just wish all southern food spots didn't always have to be a hole in the wall. It would be nice to have a very nice place with a really live atmosphere, alluring ambiance, beautiful decorations, amazing food and reasonable prices all in the same spot! I'm just saying!

Socal 2.

Yelp
Breakfast is good. I only like to eat the sides during lunch so I can't comment on the proteins provided. Staff are always nice and very welcoming.

Yelp
So in little downtown East Point I've found a smaller place that somehow keeps alot of people coming back. Part of it could be the simplicity or abundance of sides that come with each meal, but I think it's the food itself. There are few places left that just serve down home goodness at a fairly reasonable price and in such nice portions. Say you're in the mood for meatloaf, its there, and the mashed potatoes & gravy (white and brown gravy, your choice, I'm not taking a side on that great debate), some veggies or another starch, its all in your hands, throw on a slab of corn bread, and get yourself a drink, and you're about ready reminisce that home cooked taste that you miss. Now if you're in the mood for say Ox Tails, they have them, Cornish Hens, yup, Chicken, of course, Fried Fish, indeed, and anywhere from squash, to greens, to corn, to rice in the side department. Now a few tips, if you're a mac and cheese lover, it can be a little bland sometimes, all depends on the cook or amount of cheese frugality they're using in the kitchen. If you are looking to eat cheap at lunch, probably pass on a 7 or 8 dollar a plate here and head over to OZ for some pizza. And if you want to park, be aggressive, an ugly look and a parking space is better than a smile and driving in circles while you're starving. So yeah, have at it, get your soul food fix, and don't expect to be moving too fast after you finish your meal, southern food sits HEAVY :) Good Luck!

Yelp
Ate lunch at Q's for the second time today and was not disappointed! I had a fried pork chop (one of the best I'd ever had, juicy, great crispy breading), mac and cheese, white sweet corn, and cornbread for $6 and some change. The portions are great, you definitely don't go away hungry. They also have a pretty good selection of vegetables, fried fish to order, and great cobbler.

Yelp
I have gone to Q's on several occasions, each time my visit had been pleasant. The pork rib tips and pork chop are good. The collard greens are the best I had in quite sometimes. Their Mac/ cheese 6 out of a 10. The banana pudding is 7 out of 10. Their pancake and smoked sausage / eggs breakfast was well proportion. ---cheese grits on the side were very disappointing ( to watery, not southern at all). The restaurant is clean and staff is pleasant. I will continue to go back moms not here

Yelp
We were visiting my wife's relatives. the four of us from the Los Angeles area of Califorhia were greatly surprised. Catfish,Greens, Fried Green Tomatoes all the good Southern Food. We went there again on the night before we had to leave Georgia to fly back to Ontario Airport in California via Delta. The South knows how to make real Corn Bread wo/ Sugar. Sorry Marie Callender restaurants, the South does it Right!

Yelp
Typical soul food. Nothing on the menu was truly spectacular or unique. I've been to many soul food eateries and if you would have blind folded me and taken me to Q's I can say it tasted just like any other I've been to. I'll go back. I ordered a vegetable plate.

Yelp
Rest should food place. Serves all your favorites daily and has a rotating menu. From oxtail a to Turkey wings. The breakfast is also very good. Combination platters include grits and eggs and toast or biscuits. The staff is friendly and the food is always good.

Yelp
I come here when I need a quick lunch. I enjoy having soul food from time to time. The Mac and cheese is good and I also enjoy the greens. The meats are good but sometimes more on the land side but nothing a bit of hot sauce can not fix.

Yelp
My mother wanted some food from here I got ox tails for here and rice. I asked about the baked chicken and I asked for Breast & Leg the lady said it Breast & wing & Leg quarter Got home & noticed that it was just a small dry piece of breast with no flavor I called and she stated that She told me Breast only. I listen great had she said that she told me breast only. She did not say that I will never go there again. I try to support urban business but this happens so I will purchase food for my mother anywhere else but this place.

Yelp
The wait was terrible!! If you are wanting to stop and grab something for breakfast on your way to work you can forget about being on time!! I waited 30 minutes for a chicken egg and cheese biscuit and I'm still waiting as we speak!! I really want to ask for a refund!

Yelp
I love Q's restaurant.. the customer service sucks but the food is good. I don't think they took customer service classes but them folks can cook. And I hate cooking. They have stuff nobody cooks anymore. And last but not least they always running out of banana pudding and the lemonade is a sugar diabetes component death. Very sweet.
