My husband and I attended this establishment 8/1/24 to celebrate our Anniversary and my birthday. We were hoping to have a great evening enjoying good food and entertainment. The night started off really good. Listening to people sing karaoke. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. When the food came out my husband received his complete order which was the Vegan Burger and I had ordered the grilled salmon, with a side of mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. When I received my plate it was only the salmon and mixed vegetables (which tasted like they were the frozen melody vegetables that came from Sam's Club, or Costco). I had hoped for some fresh vegetables ...SMH...When I had asked for my mashed potatoes, I was advised they would be coming out shortly. Well, after I had stated eating my food and realized I had eaten 1/2 of it and my mashed potatoes still had not arrived. I asked the waitress for an update on my mashed potatoes and she went to go check. By this time I had stopped eating my meal because I wanted my mashed. After waiting nearly 10 minutes my husband had to find our waitress. To let her know I still have not received my mashed potatoes. So she had to leave again to go check the kitchen to find out what the hold up was. Approximately five minutes after she had left from our table, the cook brought my mashed potatoes out. But by this time, I was no longer hungry and the food that I had remaining on my plate had gotten cold.
Speeding fast-forward, I had expressed feelings to the both the waitress, and the Cook, of how disappointed I was with the service. The then offered to take my food back to the kitchen to re-warm it, which I was not comfortable with. Once I expressed I was not comfortable with that option and for them just to please take the plate. The cook advised he would like to offer me a peach cobbler for compensation. Again I had expressed I was not interested in any more food at this point due to my appetite was gone.
So my husband and I were ready for the check. When the waitress came back to the table, she advised us that her manager took off several items from our tab, which was the mashed potatoes and 50% of my meal because I had eaten 50% of my food (I was hungry and advised the mashed potatoes were coming shortly), and they also took off the cost for one of the drinks that I had ordered. Mind you, the second drink order was supposed to be a remake because the first drink did not taste good. We were unaware that we were being charged for a second drink, due to I had only taken a couple of sips from the first drink...SMH...
So I requested to speak with a manager. A first manager came to toward our table and she stood right to the left of me and spoke only to the waitress not to me. The waitress came back to me and stated that there's nothing else that they can do. I expressed concerned to the waitress of disappointment that the manager who initially came to the table did not speak with me, so she went to go get a different manager. Finally, when the second manager arrived to the table. I got an opportunity to share with her my concerns. She advised because they offered me different options and I declined them, and I had eaten 50% of the food that was on my. They were not going to offer any other compensation, other than which was previously stated. I let that manager know, in the future if they cannot complete an order, they should not be sending orders to the table. I let her know the service was not professional and I would not be back to their establishment because of the poor service that they give.
