Reborn Outremont Italian Restaurant Le Petit Italien Falters in Review | Eater Montreal

"Just outside Quebec City, I visited the beachside beer bistro Quai 1635 and found the terrasse-friendly fare scored well: focaccia with herb oil and mozzarella di bufala and cheese and charcuterie plates that highlight Quebec produce with flair. Both a salmon gravlax and a tuna tataki earned ecstasy points, the latter in particular served with edamame, a sesame emulsion, wild rice, bok choy, and wontons. I awarded it three stars." - Tim Forster

Worth checking out good lobster rolls and fish and chips, bloody caesar was very nice. With the heat its hard to make the cold food cold. The fries were good but need seasoning! Great views and hard to find close parking spots…. Ate outside because if the nice breeze…. Always book in advance but online Booking dies not always reflect in person even if booked a week in advance…

Came back here for lunch with my Mom. We decided to have some shareable appetizers and drinks, and it was delicious and filling. We had the fried calamari, which are so good, sweet potato fries (crunchy but soft of the inside) and their ceviche with shrimp and cucumber. With that, virgin mojitos which were so flavourful and refreshing. The staff were kind and professional, as always. I gave it 4 stars because at first we did have to wait a bit before ordering, but it was the lunch rush. I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s a go-to favourite when I visit here!

Wonderful spot for some great food, drinks and atmosphere. They gladly welcomed our pup and brought her water. Service was friendly and fabulous. We shared some appetizers (ceviche and olives) which were delightful and then a lobster role which was spectacular. Bit of a tough spot if you are looking for parking - you will most likely have to walk which is totally cool for me - but so worth it. Highly recommended!

Was looking for a place to grab lunch between checking out of our hotel and catching our flight. So glad we found this spot! There is a great patio on the water with great views of the river. The food was fantastic, definitely suggest checking out the Lobster Roll. There were only two kids options (quesadilla and chicken strips) but they were good portions and the kids loved them. The neighborhood is awesome with great trails along the river too.

Excellent, all of it. Delicious, fresh food, quick and friendly service and spectacular views of the water from a spacious outdoor seating area. Highly recommended!

Went for a « Boozy lunch » to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary and everything was great! We sat on the patio overlooking the water, the setting was beautiful & romantic. We ordered « the lobster roll » & « salmon tartare » The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had and I eat them everywhere I can when possible. The salmon tartare was so tasty and very well prepared with all the seasonings. Both dishes came with fries that are to die for they are so yummy. The service was really friendly and efficient in every way…GREAT JOB! 👍🏼 It was a perfect afternoon !

found this beautiful gem of a restaurant by sheer luck. It’s conveniently located right next to a kayak rental spot. Everything we ordered was so delicious! Love that their menu is seafood inspired and the quality to price ratio is great! Portions are generous and the view on the patio makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Will definitely come back!

My first 5 star! WOW the site, the craft beer choice, the plates! This new spot is going to be very popular soon and its already getting alot of people. If you are into a walk on shore or simply be near the river to drink a nice beer. Thats the spot. I think they told me there's salsa dancing there on thursdays! Damn nice, ill be back! Very friendly staff also, ask them about the beers they serve and youll get good advices! Enjoy my friends.
