Went on a sunday morning around 10am and it was about a 20 minute wait, they do a good job keeping the line moving. We tried a Ham and Cheese croissant, an almond croissant, a canéle, and a strawberry peach galette. The ham and cheese was 5/5, the galette was good, the other were just okay. We also tried the dandelion mocha and fruity pebble matcha, both were different but just okay. Overall, cute little shop, friendly staff, but pastry’s and price were not quite the hype

Google
Amazing local bakery with counter service and outdoor seating. The perfect local icon to stop by and start a morning of winery tours. After a short wait in the morning line, the attentive friendly staff served up wonderful pastries to start our morning. The latte and tea were excellent, as expected.

I finally got to visit a couple weeks ago. My boyfriend was participating in the Gran Fonda Piccolo race weekend and I wanted to surprise him with some baked goods afterwards. I went on a Saturday morning around 8:30 and there was a line, but it moved pretty fast. I had my small dog with me and she understandably was not allowed inside. They do have a hook close to the door for you to leash your dog while you are inside ordering though which is great. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. We got the ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, huckleberry morning bun, chocolate croissant, and a vanilla latte. My boyfriend loved the cinnamon roll and we both loved the freshness of the huckleberry! The ham and cheese and chocolate croissants are classics and were delicious. The only bummer was part of my ham and cheese croissant was cold unlike the rest of it which was hot. We would definitely swing by again next time we’re in the area 🙂

This has to be my favorite bakery i've ever been to! It's clear that they are operating at a very high level here. The Nectarine marigold crème brûlée danish was my favorite pastry that i've ever had and i've been dreaming about it ever since! The parmesan onion biscuit was incredible, it was perfectly moist and full of flavor. Everyone i was with agreed that the Lox Toast was a must get and the best we have had, the delicious bread really tied it all together. Their gougères tasted very fresh and cheesy (yum). The frosting on the cinnamon roll was so addictive and the oatmeal cream pie was wonderful. The actual bakery is so cute and feels cozy and inviting inside. The service was also very friendly and patient while we decided what we wanted. I cannot recommend Quail and Condor enough!

Google
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I didn’t think this bakery was as amazing as other people have said. I got the cinnamon roll and a small coffee. It’s very pricey with the cinnamon roll costing over $8. It seems to be a very popular place since there was a long line when we got there at 8am. The staff was friendly, but there was nothing special that would make me go back.

Google
Get there early or you will miss out! Probably one of the best pastry shops I've ever been to. From their bread to their fresh baked ham and cheese croissants, everything sells out fast. Yes, it's that good! Super friendly staff as well.

Google
We went to Quail and Condor 3 times to make sure we tried everything and had a well rounded experience 😁 Items we thoroughly enjoyed: Salmon lox toast: we ordered this 3 times! fresh and bright with a good balance of herbs, salmon, and spread Cinnamon rolls: Perfect balance of frosting to roll. Frosting wasn't overly sweet Chocolate cake: Moist and delicious Kouign Amann: Incredibly layered and flaky Items that were okay: Gruyere, etc Quiche: this was very, very dense/think--almost like a cheesecake rather than a quiche. Maybe due to issues procuring eggs? But ideally would have more eggs 🤪 Cardamom Pistachio knot: we both couldn't taste either pistachio OR cardamom which was a bit of a letdown If they could get those last two right it would absolutely be 5 stars!

Google
Love coming here. The pastries are so good, the coffee is amazing, you will not be disappointed. My only complaint is that sometimes the line is long, but certainly worth the wait. Last time I went I got the chocolate Croissant and the Dandelion Mocha… oh my goodness, it was so decadent and delicious. I think I finished the mocha in about 2 minutes.

Yelp
I had been to the cafe once before. Today I drove over from the East Bay and pulled up only to see they were "closed for construction". So bummed! I saw folks inside and thought to ask where else I could go to get a croissant. A women came to the window and I explained that I drove up from SF. She smiled and offered me a large box of pastries. Take it!! I should have offered to pay. I was really so surprised I said thank you and left, like a little kid that got a free ice cream or something but it was SO MUCH MORE! The pastries were shared with friends and family and we are now customers for LIFE! WOW!! Charles M

Yelp
"Are we going to Quail and Condor today?" Be prepared for this question if you're kind enough to share this gem of a bakery with someone. This unassuming roadside bakery in healdsburg is worth making the drive to. Everything they make is fantastic and quality. I tried: quiche, kouign amann, caramelized honey morning bun, scone, canele, epi, pane siciliano The poor staff was so patient with us when we ordered. It's a tough decision when everything looks so good. Of all the things I tried, there was only 1 pastry that I preferred from a bakery at home in RI, and that's the kouign amann, for me, Quails didn't have the signature caramelized almost creme Brule like glaze that makes kouign amann so special. The quiche though, if you told me I could only have quiche one last time before i die, I'd pick this quiche. It's insanely rich, but it is so delicious. Creamy, velvety, savory, it's honestly almost like eating a savory cheesecake with the most delicious buttery and flaky pastry crust. Try it and share it to save room for.... The caramelized honey morning bun: The next standout for me was this thing. I took a bite into the caramelized honey infused pastry cream and literally said "Holy sh...". If that cream was slapped in a supermarket hotdog bun I'd eat it no questions. But no, they didn't stop at the cream, the flaky layered pastry dough was so light, so crispy and structural enough to support the cream. If you don't want something so rich (maybe to pair with the quiche like I did) go with the scone. A nice, crispy, buttery, simple scone. The sugared top was a perfect extra layer of crunch and sweetness. The filling was some kind of berry, which escapes me, but it was very good. Going to some wineries or to a relative's? Be a hero and grab some bread. The epi was perfect to savagely rip pieces off of after a wine tasting and the pane siciliano was what a relative grabbed to take to a lunch stop when we were meeting up with some other family that lived out here. All sourdough, all tasty and has a nice fluffy, moist texture. Slight tang, not too much and crisp crust, just the right thickness. I don't know what else I can say. Just go here and plan on coming back. You'll want everything. Just have a game plan because this place doesn't have seating. There is a little square a little further up the street. A short walk or drive. I wish you good luck- your taste buds will thank you.

Yelp
came here due to all the yelp reviews and when we drove by the place was surrounded by crowds. The pastries all looked amazing. Had to get the almond croissant and plain croissant. They also have a drink and pastry with Dandelion, which was I tempted to order and try. The line moves relatively quickly and the pastries were flakey, buttery and delicious. The kouign amann was also something I wished I ordered as I love those, though it didn't look like it had the signature caramelized sugar coating. This place is definitely worth a visit when in town!

Yelp
This place has a lot to offer, but if you're someone who loves hot, gooey, icing-dripping cinnamon rolls, this might not be your spot. I was surprised when I asked if they could heat up a cinnamon roll and was told they'd prefer not to because the icing gets messy--personally, I think that's the best part! There's no indoor seating, so you'll need to sit outside, but as long as the weather cooperates, there's some seating in and around the area. They do have a great selection of pastries. I picked a few to take home, including a chocolate croissant and their take on an "oatmeal cream pie," so TBD on those. Overall, worth checking out if you're in the mood for something sweet or glutenous.

Yelp
Overall this bakery has received a lot of attention and I think it's pretty good but not as comparable to bakeries in sf. The standouts were the ham and cheese croissant and the salted egg morning bun. The Kouign aman was just a regular croissant to me and the almond croissant was just hard and overbaked. Definitely disappointed with those too while the gougère was just meh, it tasted like egg kinda. Chocolate chip cookie is good, nothing crazy. I feel like they could be a little faster too since we were in line for 45 mins and at arsicault in sf, the line was even longer and they had a similar setup as well and were more efficient.

Yelp
Door opened at 0755, small line, from delightful layers of crisp flaky pasty made with love to 6 in quiche that is as light and airy as can be! Pastry as big as your head! Do not pass this up
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is amazing anyone coming into town to visit, we sent them here. The pastries are on another level with a great attention to detail. I recently had their quiche which is the best in town, and I really enjoy their puddings as well. A definite must try!

Yelp
We were in Healdsburg for only two days, so we chose the places that we dined at very carefully - and we chose to come to Quail & Condor twice. The first day, I needed a place that was walking distance to our kayaking launch site and came across Quail & Condor on Google Maps. Having just come from San Francisco, where we had some excellent pastries, I admit I did not go in with super high expectations, but the minute I saw the croissants in the window, freshly baked and glistening in the morning sun, I knew Quail & Condor was legit. The strawberry and marzipan scone is incredible. The fig leaf pastry cream-filled morning bun was so revelatory, I'm planning an urban foraging adventure to use fig leaves in my own baking. The slice of quiche was massive and wonderfully custardy, yet sturdy. The cinnamon bun was huge, decadent, and filling, the kouign amann was one of the best I've ever had, and the parmesan and onion biscuit was so good, we got it twice. As you can see by the massive list of pastries we tried (and I don't even think I listed them all!), we really ate with our eyes. And we were not alone - many people came in and ordered HUGE orders (think 10 of every type of croissant), and the staff did not blink an eye, were super professional and patient, and made sure to keep orders flowing if one staff member got bogged down with a big order. Both days, we went around 8:15/8:30am, which I think is around when they open. That felt like a good time to go, as by the time we left, it started to get pretty busy. They certainly have a big following, and with good reason!

Yelp
This is a good bakery, but I can't give it five stars because I don't think these are the best croissants around. They just aren't worth 45 minutes of waiting in the cold (or heat if you come in the summer). I was excited to try the cardamom and pistachio croissant because that was a first in flavor combos. Sadly, after many bites, I only tasted a bit of cardamom in one or two bites. I didn't get any pistachio. The croissant gets points for flakiness, but its also missing some soft center breadish parts which make it feel like almost too much air. The sourdough bread loaf holds its own and I'd serve it with any meal or make a nice sandwich with it. Top marks there. For me the best croissants in the Bay Area are found at Arsicault in SF. In Sonoma I can find a better croissant at Sarmentine or Baker and Cook without the line.

Yelp
This is a local Healdsburg bakery that delivers the goods! My favorites: morning bun, and monkey bread. Be prepared to stand in a 10 minute line most mornings. Trust me that waiting time is worth it. Parking may be a bit hard to come around during peak times, I normally park on street and that gets me in quicker. There's a few benches outside by parking lot to sit and enjoy all this yumminess!

Yelp
Wow wow wow! The line out the door should've been enough to tell us this place was great, but now after trying it we can see why. Quail and Condor is just a short walk around the round about from the main shops where we parked. It's just a little shop with limited seating at a bar top outside. They had so many options for breakfast and bakery items it was really hard to choose what to get. We settled on the Squash Toast, Quiche, Pumpkin Miso Muffin and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Everything was amazing and unique! The eggs in the quiche were so light as if they were whipped! We also tried a latte and chai. Super impressed with this place!
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute find in healdsburg! A little outside of the main square area but super easy to find parking! There is a little wait but mostly because the shop itself is small and there's not a lot of space inside. Once you go in, you can see the entire selection of pastries they have! We also pulled up the menu on our phones while waiting in line so we can make sure to see everything before ordering! We were super intrigued by the tomato chocolate croissant which actually ended up being my favorite. A good balance of sweet and savory!

Yelp
Lovely local bakery with a healthy local following. Inspired menu includes new twists on old favorites like a chocolate and olive croissant or lemon pound cake as well as classics like a ham and cheese croissant or carrot cake. Really friendly and efficient service keeps the crowd moving. Bonus experience: they've got a a super friendly kitty who'll warmly welcome you in the parking lot.

Yelp
Delicious bakery!! Probably a good thing we don't live close by, or I might be here every day. Two days in Healdsburg for a football tournament. Went here every day! Best to get there early. Loved the pumpkin miso muffin. Super moist and tasty. One person in our family loved the apple pastry-- flakey and sweet, just how she likes it. The quiche was decadent and thick. A little too rich for my liking, but filling. Cheese scone was soft in the middle and crunchy and salty on the outside. Delicious savory scone. Cinnamon roll was huge and sweet. The bread, ah, the bread-- delicious artisan miele bread. Divine! Love this bakery!

Yelp
Quality. Deliciousness. Unique flavors & combinations. Small take-out style bakery. You can eat on-site, just outside. Their offerings rotate and change almost daily, if not daily. So now I feel like I need to go everyday just to see what beautiful, new creation they have. Also offer full bread loafs (or loaves?) for purchase, which they will slice for you. That was my original reason for visiting, to get non-store bought bread for my son's sandwiches. I ended up leaving with a quiche slice ($11), 2 chocolate chip cookies - one gluten free, one regular, & an olive oil chocolate croissant! Yum! And last, but not least, they also have coffee/tea beverage options, a few desserts, cheese, etc , seasonal items and some retail things for purchase. They also offer classes and post other activities local businesses are doing around town.

Yelp
Amazing products with artisanal punch. Came here three days in a row and everything was next worldly. Breads and baguettes are superb. There was a cinnamon bun that's next level. Monkey bread didn't disappoint. A must stop bakery with reasonable prices and great service. Nice outdoor sitting area to chill also.

Yelp
best pastries I've had in wine country -- wow. Such a great mix of classic croissants and creative flavors (pumpkin miso was delicious), warm and cute interior, overall amazing. Definitely worth a stop, ideally multiple :)
google avatar

Yelp
This was on my friend's radar on our recent getaway. We made a point of walking over after our wine pairing experience. When the six of us entered it was overwhelming. So many pastries and bread to choose from. Hubby immediately gravitated toward the persimmon pistachio loaf. I spotted the chocolate chip cookie. We took our goodies home to try. When I sliced into the loaf the inside looked different than the one pictured on the bakery website. It was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. I took a closer look and I think I detected dried persimmon. But not sure. At any rate it was a nice loaf. The chocolate chip cookie - heavy in weight. Plenty of chocolate chips and chocolate like you find in a croissant. I could have one of these cookies every week. It's a very good crispy cookie. Now it's on my radar for a return visit next time we're up north.
google avatar

Tony A.

Yelp
Wow, the quality of the baking and smoothness of the coffee reminds me of the best bakeries I've been to in San Francisco. The croissants are that perfect combination of crispy outer edges with light, soft, buttery inside layers. And the lattes and smooth and delicious. Will definitely come back anytime I'm passing through.

Yelp
I think I died and went to pastry heaven. To me, Quail & Condor is the perfect example of Northern California charm: a humble location, serving exemplary goods, using sustainably sourced local products, intended mostly for to-go orders so you can enjoy in their hidden garden picnic tables or in nature nearby. I arrived around 10am on a Saturday. The parking lot is small and a little tough to turn into and out of but hey, I'm glad there's parking at all. The line was fully inside the small building so it wasn't too long of a wait. They had plenty of breads and pastries to choose from. I got an assortment - croissant, kouign amann, cinnamon roll, a lox toast, and I forget what else. Everything was absolutely stellar and my family is lucky they survived the trip home to be shared!
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Cute little bakery/cafe with delightful and BIG pastries! Stopped in for a quick pastry and coffee break while road tripping up north. They had quite a few pastries to choose from and even had gluten free options. I'm a sucker for a chocolate croissant so I had to go with that. The croissant was a great balance of crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft yet dense on the inside. The chocolate was rich, creamy, and plentiful. Though the chocolate was rich, it wasn't dark, it almost had sort of an amaretto taste to it, I couldn't quite pinpoint it but it tasted like a liqueur. The citrus flower on top was a unique twist and a fun burst of flavor in your mouth. The girl helping us was super friendly and was getting through orders quickly. You ordered and got your pastries inside, then went outside to wait for drinks. Pastries were a little on the pricey side, but well worth it if you want to splurge on a treat. They were also high quality The parking lot had room for a decent number of cars, though was a little cramped. There were a few picnic tables on the sides of the parking lot and each one seemed to have some shade.

Yelp
This bakery is now my go-to place when passing through Healdsburg in the morning/early afternoon and every time it is delicious with different offerings! While I always get the croissants because they are perfectly flaky and buttery, I have also gotten various other pastries and baked goods which have all been great. Most recently I had a delicious ham and cheese croissant, apricot danish, custard filled morning bun, oatmeal cookie cream pie and porridge sourdough loaf. All were delicious!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Divine pastries. MY ORDER: Ham & Cheese Croissant Chocolate Chip Cookie Strawberry Tarragon cake Wowy. That cake was not too sweet and so unique, also very pretty. The cookie was perfect, chunky, chewy, a little crisp on the outside, not too sweet (I don't like overly-in your face-sweet dessert). Everything was good. They have a small parking lot, and little tables and chairs outside. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I like their croissants and scones; they make the best scones. Also, they make tasty sourdough bread, which is my favorite.

Yelp
Support women-owned bakeries! The incredible selection of sweet and savory baked goods at Quail and Condor ensures that there is something for everyone! We popped by at 11am on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes to enter the small shop (#woththewait). While they still had a great selection, they were already down to their last cinnamon roll and avocado toast by 11am! We ordered an assortment of goodies: - the geranium rose cream-filled morning bun - a kouign amann - the ham and cheddar croissant - a peach marzipan scone They were all incredible, but if I had to select a favorite, the morning bun filled with geranium-rose cream was unforgettable! The delicate flavors and perfect creamy texture made their morning bun orgasmic. Time to take a trip to Quail and Condor!

Yelp
Hands down best croissant I've ever had. I was visiting last weekend from San Francisco and I was absolutely blown away. I mention I'm from San Francisco because we have Arsicault that reigns pretty supreme but in my opinion Quail and Condor tops it! We got a plain croissant, goma cookie, black sesame financier and kouign aman - all were 11/10. Next time I come back I'm hoping to make it in time to snag a scone!

Yelp
One of the characteristics of a solid croissant? When you end up wearing it... On your face. On your chest. On your lap. And, can't forget the floor. IF you have a furry vacuum with four legs following you around all day, no clean up required! Back to the point, there's no denying a solid croissant should rain golden brown flakes when biting into. And, the croissant at Quail & Condor did just that. Quail & Condor seems to be THE bakery in Healdsburg to go to...it's from SingleThread (3 Michelin stars) alums so ofc, there's going to be hype around that. Def plan ahead - pre-order to secure your goods (I heard they sell out early). I was instructed by email to pick-up my order at the coffee pickup window but it was closed so I had to go inside. Thankfully, there was no line at the time. M E N U 20 items on the menu: Naturally Leavened Bread ($5-$11.50) Croissants ($5-$7) and Pastries ($5-$8.25). For drinks: coffee, tea, and bottled drinks. Merch available for purchase. T H E G O O D S * Ham & Cheese Croissant // 4.5 stars ($7): https://tinyurl.com/yc267474 The star of the bunch, the ham & cheese croissant was deliciously buttery with shatteringly crunchy layers. We're talking ASMR. I got crumbs e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. The slice of ham and gruyère cheese had just the right amount of saltiness, while the everything bagel seasoning made it hit different. Compared to Ariscault in SF (which some argue make the best croissants in the country), Quail & Condor's ham & cheese croissant is lighter, less buttery, and not as salty. I actually prefer this since Arsicault's sits heavy. * Gougères w/ gruyère, chives, black pepper // 4 stars ($5): https://tinyurl.com/7faz2yd2 The gougères was crisp and golden on the outside, and moist and soft on the inside with a savory mild nutty flavor. Can't go wrong with a cheese puff but I couldn't taste the chives and black pepper. * Plain Croissant ($5): https://tinyurl.com/7faz2yd2 Didn't try but it looked solid - good rise with distinctive laminated layers and honeycomb center. * Cinnamon Roll // 4 stars ($8.25): https://tinyurl.com/53dznf7p Rave reviews for this and I can see why. Well, it took tearing off the dry outer layer to understand why (surprised it was so dry at opening time). It was like unwrapping a present because the center of the cinnamon roll was BOMB! Fluffy soft, gooey, and cinnamon-y...with lush cream cheese icing. Sweet and decadent but enough tang for balance. * Kouign Amann // 3.5 stars ($6.25): https://tinyurl.com/dyx78y66 KAs are one of the most caloric thing in a bakery so if you're going to eat one, gotta go all out - amirite? IMO, b.patisserie's KA in SF is the gold standard with an intense glassy caramelized crunch to contrast the indulgent buttery layers. Quail & Condor's KA looked better than it tasted. It was sweet, buttery, and crisp but there were two large air pockets, and the flavor and texture just wasn't as distinctive as b.patisserie's KA (and others I've had). Maybe a lighter version is their style. * "Our Best Chocolate Chip Cookie" // 1 star ($5): https://tinyurl.com/53dznf7p The only cookie they offer. Overbaked, tough, and hard...$5 wasted. S E R V I C E Cordial. My order was ready before the 8:30 am pick-up time. A M B I A N C E Bright and clean. Takeout only. There's a handful of stools outside with a small ledge and some picnic tables in the back parking lot area if you want to enjoy your pastries on-site. P A R K I N G They have their own private lot. There's also street parking. Overall, pretty solid bakery with the the ham & cheese croissant and cinnamon roll (the center + icing) being the most noteworthy. If you're visiting Healdsburg, Quail & Conder is worth a try!

Yelp
We made the right decision to order ahead on their website so our sourdough bread and baguette was ready for pick up when we drove into Healdsburg. This was our first time to Quail and Condor and all of the reviews are correct - this bakery knows how to do bread right! I stopped in a little after 2 pm and there were still a lot of baked goodies to be had so I added another couple of butter croissants ($5 each) to my order and they were flaky with a nice crispness to the exterior. The bread was a lovely loaf that stayed fresh for more than just a day, which is great! It was very reminiscent of a Tartine Bakery loaf, if you know you know.

Yelp
I happened to be driving by looking for a place to stop and have coffee. This place caught my eye, and after pulling into the lot, the smells wafting from the shop made my mouth water. All my questions were answered graciously, and service was exceptional.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little bakery that was open early in the morning. It's a busy bakery but coffee service was very slow. It took us a while to get our coffee order.
google avatar

Judith S.

Yelp
The bakery is small, no seating. I never really know when it's open, I should pay more attention. AND it has the best pastry and bread ever! It's best to show up early or to order online to be sure you get your first choice. Even if you get your last choice ( because they sell out so fast) you 'll still be happy and satisfied. For example... the croissant I recently scored to enjoy with my coffee. The photo shows all the feathery layers, at least a zillion, and the fall apart crust. I think you're allowed to lick all the crumbs from the serving paper. I did.

Yelp
Very cute bakery just a block or so away from the downtown square. Great variety of croissants, scones, and cinnamon rolls. They also have wonderful baked bread options. The croissants were nice and flaky with a warm buttery chewy interior. We tried both the plain and almond. The scone was also excellent not too dry or doughy. It's a grab and go spot that also offers coffee and latte drink options.

Yelp
The cinnamon roll & caramelized croissant were out of this world. Excellent frosting + softness to the cinnamon roll & the caramelized croissant was perfectly toasty, with a good crunch/ sweetness but not overwhelming. 10/10

Yelp
First time at this bakery and I hope that it isn't my last. Got some almond croissants to take home. I did enjoy the delicata persimmon ricotta toast with a matcha latte. Service was fast even though the place was busy and the toast was delicious.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
We parked across the street because there was a large pickup truck blocking the parking lot entrance, but from what we could tell, there was plenty of parking around 11 AM on a Sunday. When we arrived, there was only seeded loaves left. I ended up getting an almond croissant, a chocolate quince croissant, and a canelé. I was hesitant to get the croissants because they looked more toasted than other croissants I typically have, but these were both really delicious and I'm glad I got them. I wasn't a fan of the canele but it had good texture. I want to come back at an earlier time to try some of their breads!

Yelp
For International Women's Day (week) I'm shouting out my favorite women-owned bakery! My recent purchases included: *a loaf of the dense and moist and oh-so-delicious Danish Rye: Dense, Nordic style sourdough with fresh-milled rye, pepitas, sunflower, sesame, flax, and whole rye berries. (Per the website, this contains buttermilk) -This bread is savory-friendly and sweet-friendly. I eat it with eggs and cheese, and my guy loves it with jam. *Ham And Cheese Croissant: Sliced ham and gruyere rolled into our croissant dough, garnished with everything bagel seasoning -My friends split this and loved every last lick! *Savory Biscuit: Buttermilk drop biscuit with Parmesan and roasted torpedo onions from Middleton Farm -This and the cheese gougere are among my favorite savory splurges! If you haven't been to Quail & Condor, what are you waiting for?! Don't be deterred by the line. The treats are worth the wait. And you'll be supporting the wonderful woman owner, Melissa, and her fabulous team of passionate locals. Enjoy!

Yelp
@quailandcondor is worth waiting in line. We got there before they opened so we didn't wait long, but when we left the line was out the door. There are so many choice and all are great. Everything is scratch made, which you can tell. Our favorites were the scone, olive bread, Kouign Amann, and the biscuit. Staff is kind and patient when you can't make up you mind.

Yelp
I recently read an article about top bakeries in the Bay Area. My family decided to make the trek to Healdsburg and try Quail and Condor. I bought a few loaves and a variety of pastries to try. It was a long line and after trying a few items, I understand why. This bakery is a gem. Top quality people, ingredients and technically excellent. They have definitely earned their stardom. Must try.

Yelp
We had their chocolate croissant, morning bun and ham and cheese croissant. So delicious, I wish I could've tried all their items :)

Yelp
This bakery is tucked away looking all sweet and simple, well it is just a beautiful bakery filled with deliciousness at every turn, your eyes popping to the left then to the right because your trying to get a good lay of the land, because when it's your turn you'll want to be at the ready. This is an incredibly popular bakery I was there 15 minutes before opening time and there were already 8 people who either walked or biked there they were clearly the locals and they already knew this place was the bomb bakery. I am so happy my son who is a foody like me, said I needed to check it out And BTW you need to get there early or you'll miss their best selling deliciousness the cinnamon rolls are amazing ample icing with gooey interior and the oatmeal cookies made into thee best Whoopee pie evahhhh the best cookie but with that icing omg it's too good! The baked goodies here are crazy good but come early and enjoy I know you will. Cheers ALL and SYOY Review #323 07/31/23

Yelp
This is a five star bakery. I picked up an almond croissant and morning bun (gave to my daughter who was blown away). Some of the best baked goods ever, you don't want to miss this place. And the coffee is quite good, too. Worth a detour and a must stop if driving past.

Yelp
Such a great bakery recommended by a friend. We tried the Parmesan onion biscuit, chocolate babka, and chocolate olive oil croissant. We got there around 11am on a Saturday and was already sold out of some items and a line out the door. Such a cute bakery, clean, friendly, and could see them making beautiful fresh pastries. Everything was delicious, flavors well balanced, perfect texture, and definitely wish we had bought more. The chocolate and olive oil was unique and could really see and taste the olive oil. It paired well with the chocolate and never had that combo before. The croissant itself was flaky, buttery, and good. I'd definitely come back to try other items and get there early before pastries sell out.

Yelp
Horrible "customer service" We were going up to celebrate a big family reunion and had gone a few weeks earlier to see if their pastries were worth the hype. The day we went they were pretty good, not the best but certainly tasty. I asked about ordering in advance for ~30 people and they said they would just need a few days notice for a large order like that and gave me a business card. About a week away I try calling multiple times and sending an email to the address on the card. Absolutely nothing back. Not even once. So then since we were already up there a few days ahead I popped in to ask again and see if I can place my order then. The guy is like you can just order for next day after 4 PM. Despite me saying again we had close to 30 people. No problem he assured me instead of just taking my order then. So I try to order as instructed and guess what? There's a limit of 24 items and it says for large group orders to please call or email. Overall pastries and such are about a 2.5/5 certainly no where close to a B patisserie or Ariscalt or even Backhaus and too bad none of those are in the area bc they'd certainly be much friendlier and willing to work with you. In the end it's fine - I'm glad to have given other businesses in the area my money instead of this pretentious place.

Yelp
What a wonderful little bakery! Everything here- I think we tasted almost everything in 3 trips- was so delicious and fresh. If there's a line when you get there, don't worry, it moves fast. If you're trying to decide if you want to go here- you do. enjoy!

Yelp
A good bakery if you are in the area. We had coffee drink and almond croissant and Kouign-amann. All were good. Albeit we go to SF often so bakery goods are good here if you don't compare to SF bakeries or Napa County bakeries.

Yelp
So good - I went back 2 days in a row. Morning bun and the biscuit are my absolute favorites. I brought the almond croissant back to vegas with me and reheated it and it was still amazing! Croissants are huge and so well done. The team is so nice and highly efficient. Everything is priced reasonably and you definitely pay for what you get. Planning to keep this in my rotation for when I'm back in Sonoma County. I highly recommend stopping by for some pastries and a coffee. Can't wait to be back!
