Riverside Park charms visitors with its lush greenery, mature trees, and tranquil setting along the Provo River. Highlighted by the Provo City Parks Department and praised in local guides, it’s known for its peaceful walking paths, well-maintained playground, and ample picnic spaces. The park’s location makes it a perfect spot for birdwatching or simply unwinding by the water, while the adjacent Provo River Trail offers opportunities for biking and strolling.

We love this park! Love that there are several areas to play! Love the field, picnic areas and walking path. My only complaint is the "toddler/baby" area (there are 3 different parks within the park) is not very baby friendly. High and random drops. There has to be a way to make a little baby park actually baby safe and friendly so they can play!

Great park! My kids love this park and the multiple playgrounds and expansive grassy areas they have. The pavilion is big and offers a nice escape from the sun. The only drawback for me would be the lack of shade for any of the benches for parents, and those benches being metal and black. They get very very hot very very quickly. Lol.

This is a great new park that Provo has built, even greater than the one by the Provo Rec Center. It's really 3 playgrounds in 1, so if your kids are bored there, it's time for some introspective thinking on parenting 😘 Seriously though, this park has so much. There are a ton of slides, lots of things to climb on, plenty of walking paths, spectacular views, a small water feature, bathrooms, a large field, pickleball courts, ropes, stairs, monkey bars, just about everything you can think of minus a merry-go-round. And, one of the more clever parts of it are the coverings that are supposed to go over it. They weren't up when we were there, but the posts were there, ready for summer.

July 2024, don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful park, grass areas to play on, jungle gyms for kids and picnic tables to socialize around. And even pickelball courts. It's new and beautiful and clean. HOWEVER, the reason for the low rating is that parking is terrible! Only street parking and there is a large section that is designated as no parking area, so it won't take long for local residents to complain about the parking situation, and then the city to place no parking without permit signs, which will cause the park to be a waste to the city as a whole, a pure expense. But then a joy for the immediate neighbors. Also do note that the local ward has activities and overtakes the whole pavilion area and just encroaches your space without talking to you. Totally a passive aggressive move and in such bad taste. It seems that it was the ward that John Curtis (running for US Senate in 2024) is in, not a word to us, just encroached on space. Back to the park. But until the above parking situation is sorted out, it's a beautiful park, large and lots for kids to explore around.

What a beautiful playground! 4 separate structures, but close enough to each other you can generally keep an eye on variety of ages. Pickleball courts, bathrooms, shaded pavilion, and shades on the playground.

This park is pretty good. However there are a few accessibility issues here. For those with issues with wheelchairs and balance/walking issues, there is difficulty climbing up and down the very steep embankments. It would be lovely if we had some steps, or some wheelchair accessible walkways. Also the rock wall is extremely dangerous for these children to be freely playing on. It is a falling hazard, and a child can easily take a fall off of the rock wall. Please do a better job at blocking off the top of the rock wall all the way around entirely so it is not possible for kids to climb over. It would also be lovely if you provided some see saws and some swings for those with disabilities like some of the other all abilities parks and normal swings as well. Swings are a staple of any park I've ever been to. Other than that, this is a fun park. It would be fun to eventually see a splash pad installed as well. There is a lot of potential here!

Wow, this park Rocks!! They have different play areas for all ages of kids which is impressive 👍 They have bathrooms but they aren't open all year round. Parking is fine. There is grassy areas and also tables. The kids will have a Blast!! Seems like a brand new park😃

What a fun new addition to Provo's park system! It's a very large park with four separate playgrounds, giving lots of variety and options for every age. The grass bowl provides a small hill that could be fun for sledding or rolling down in the summertime. The bathrooms are nice and the pavilion is large enough for a good sized gathering. I love that there are canopies covering a lot of the play equipment to keep things cool from the sun! My only complaints are that the lack of parking creates heavy traffic (there is a very small parking area, it's mostly street parking available), and how hard it is to access the slide hill area. It would be incredibly helpful if there was a stair option for getting back up the hill. In the morning, the dew makes the hill quite slick and my kiddo had a difficult time getting up without face planting. Also holding a baby, I couldn't really go down into that area easily. Other than those qualms, we really enjoy this new park and plan to come back many times in the future!
