Quality Fresh Seafood

Had the crawfish and they were good, just tiny, probably b/c they’re not in season. The noodle bowl was pretty good as well. I wish had the fried catfish which I devoured so no pics lol. The lil owner lady was very sweet and hard worker. Y’all stop stealing their drinks out their cooler when they are in the back!

We had the turkey neck plate and the low country boil. The flavor was very good! We asked for spicy and it was given spicy. If you on this side of town make that stop. Only thing that wasn’t good was this batch of turkey necks wasn’t as plump as before. Still overall great !

We used to order from here many times in the past. Never reviewed, but went there recently and found the food was just as good as before. Seafood options have lessened since the covid impact and supply issues, but still a good selection. Take out is available and it can take some time to get your order, but worth the wait, occasionally. Seems to be the same owners as before, and heard they had closed for renovation. Prices are what you'd expect for seafood right now.

The food was really good. Best Classic Version of Great food in a not so good looking location. Very friendly!

Food is always consistent and good. Mild is still spicy. Must order the garlic blue crab it has the best flavor

My daughter and I really like fried fish so we checked out Quality Fresh Seafood to see if it was any good. We ordered the whiting and I asked for a combo with 6 pieces and fries with a side of hush puppies. They gave us a nice larger portion of fish. It was enough for me and my pre-teen daughter to share and we even had a little leftover. The fries were unsalted but were fine once we added some. The fish was fried perfectly. The hush puppies were a little over fried and I don't think we got the six we paid for. I wouldn't order them again. However our bill came up to $12, which is really affordable for this amount of food. The service was good and we waited about 10 -15 minutes for our fish to be fried. It didn't knock our socks off but it was decent and affordable so we will probably go back when we are in the area.

Man this sucks to write this, I was a fan of Quality Seafood's crawfish for so long. I guess there's an end to everything. Came in on a Sunday at 1:00 pm. Granted it's been awhile .. but the sign of no customers should've gave me a hint. Ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and hot wings/fries. As of 12/11/2021 it is $8.00 per lbs of crawfish, but hey I guess everything is going up. I miss when it was $4 ): & butter is no longer free. You get no butter with your order, yes you have to pay for it . 2 for $1 They gave us old everything. EVERYTHING. The crawfish had the bitter taste, hot wings were old to the point where the meat wasn't even on the bones, "hot" sauce was literally just Texas Pete. & fries ! How do you possibly mess up fries??? The fries were like cardboard and has spots. I should've took a pic. Smh shame on you Quality!!! They don't take EBT fyi. Save your money and go to VIP or New Orleans down the street. You've been warned.

Terrible Service! We were waiting for uncooked seafood and couldn't get any help, the guy at the counter kept waiting on other people that were coming in, the female working in the back kept saying give me a minute but never came over so we decided to take our money elsewhere..... New Orleans seafood on Tara, here we come.

I ordered the 4pc trout dinner it was Over battered and salty and DRY! The fries were dry tasting and the hush puppies were JUST AWEFUL! That's a NO FOR ME DAWG‼ I won't be back! Plus they "No longer accept EBT"

Longest wait for a meal! But it was the day before Christmas Eve! Food was good a little salty on the seasoning for my Louisiana Cajun mix with shrimp. For it to be December crawfish were a good size and delicious. Lines were extra long but the staff held their composer even when irate customers were rolling in. Fresh crabs and lots of fish variety.

My family and I always get our crawfish from here but tbh it's a hit or miss. Some days it's so good you wish you bought more but other days it's not so good. I have gotten blue crabs from here as well and they were very good, tasted very fresh! They season their seafood real well. The wait is always long but there's alway a lot of people so it's understandable, just call ahead to place your order. The prices here are great too, super affordable!!

I used to stop by here and order food cooked to order. It seems that they are still doing that. Plates are available or you can pick your own from the case and pay to have it cooked. Today I stopped by to purchase fresh fish to take home and cook. It was in the area I was in and I was a little pressed for time so I didn't want to get side tracked in a grocery store. I PAID for the convenience. Catfish nuggets were $5.49 a pound...SHEESH! In short I bought 2 pieces of flounder filet and a 1/2 lb of catfish nuggets and it was almost $10. The man behind the counter wasn't well versed with his products...I wanted the white side only of the flounder and had to show him which was which. It seems they have a good price on Crawfish but unless I'm in the area and wanting Crawfish...I will just go to the store.

I used to go here a few years ago on the regular. Service started declining as well as food. It became a hit or miss and the staff was always different. They have declined tremendously. I try to support local businesses but when it comes to food there should be no short cuts. I had fried catfish dinner, greasy and old fries, my crawfish was definitely old. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth putting your health in jeopardy.

This is hands-down, 100% the best crawfish you can get in the greater Atlanta area. This little seafood counter in Forest Park is a true gem. My fiancé and I always swing by and get 5 pounds of spicy and 5 pounds of regular crawfish. Though you can't buy Amit at the Quality Seafood, stop by a grocer amd pick up a beer to drink. It washes the spicy crawfish down so nicely, and I'm not even a beer drinker by habit. This is a plane you must check out!

No flavoring on the fish or shrimp the only thing good was the crawfish! I'd suggest getting some type of seasoning for your battered seafood.

I went back again prices went up to $62 with tax. Only concern is that the guy at the register had no mask/gloves while handling food. we are in a pandemic... other than that i love it

My goodness. I do not know why it took me so long to try out this place, but I have. And I've even gotten my whole family hooked on it! First of, the name says it all. Quality. Fresh. Seafood. I used to go to Southern Seafood in Decatur, but that was a bit of a drive for me, and it's not easy to get to. And sometimes I would even suffice with the mediocre seafood from Crawfish shack. I was convinced that Southern seafood was the best I could get around here...until I found this gem. I even have my family who live in Gwinnett placing bulk orders to take home. This place is definitely something to check out. Service is great. Food was amazing. Oh and the lemonade is like crack! I don't know what it is about it... TIP: My family always order A LOT of seafood from them, so we always have a menu and call in to order ahead so there isn't much of a wait. They get PRETTY busy on the weekends and near the holidays! Also, it's a small place, so it might be better just to order take-out because they have minimal seating.

I only get the crawfish from here. It's very hard to beat the price of $3.99 a pound cooked. Everywhere else charge way higher and they don't have that taste like crawfish should have. I'm not a crawfish connoisseur but everyone else who I brought it to seems to enjoy this place the best. Not the cleanest place and definitely not the fastest place but best price for tasty crawfish. Minus one star for cleanliness and minus one star for waiting time from order to pickup. Update Dec 4th: just bought more crawfish, place is definitely cleaner and service seems faster. Hope my crawfish didn't change its flavor. One star added back for cleanliness.

My family and I love to get crawfish here. It's so good. We tried their crawfish when one of our friends gave us some years back. It was so flavorful and spicy and we've been hooked eversince. The price is also good $3.99 per lbs. yes that's right..cheap!!! We mostly go here for the crawfish but they serve all kinds of fried & steamed seafood and wings. Another thing we liked here are the garlic crabs. The sauce on the crab is good but we only try to order it during crab season because you can tell sometimes that the crab is not fresh. That goes the same for crawfish, it's always great but sometimes you get a few crawfish in your order that are drier or doesn't taste as fresh (I think they mix them sometimes) but it's still good. This place get packed so be prepared to wait or call in your order ahead of time like what we do. Also, if you're odering the crawfish their regular seasoning is hot enough so don't tell them you want it hot/spicy unless you like it crazy hot. Trust me on this, one time we ordered it hot and I couldn't eat but only a few because it was too hot. And the hubby who loves spicy stuff couldn't eat as much as he usually does. If you're ever in the area or is craving some good crawfish then give this place a try.

I was referred here by a friend. The service was good but the wait time was a little long at 45 minutes for to-go food? I ordered the crab dinner which included one snow crab cluster, 15 shrimp, sausage, corn and potato, then an additional 2lbs of crawfish. I would say no the the crab and shrimp in the future, it was obviously frozen and over cooked. The crawfish on the other hand were large and fresh and amazing at 5.99 a pound I should have ordered 4 lbs and been done with it. I would come here again if in a pinch for crawfish.

This is our go to Seafood place. BEWARE THO, if they tell you it will be ready in 20 minutes, if they are busy, that means at least 20 minutes from the moment you go to pick up your food. We think it's worth the wait, and now just anticipate food to take anywhere between 20-45 mins.

A 10 I love their Crab Legs they are amazing I walked across the Highway for these crab legs.They also serve Fresh fish and other foods that you will enjoy they can prepair your Food in minutes they ask that you tip a $1.00 + food cost for the customers who want their food cooked Onsite.Amazing Amazing Amazing....they take cash and or EBT open 7 days a week 10am to 10pm...dont walk run there

I love love the crawfish from here (you can get mild or spicy- keep in mind their mild level here is the spicy of elsewhere!). One bad thing is that there is always a bit of a wait because the place is always pack with a bad queuing system to check out and ordering.

I would only get their crawfish here. I tried their fried shrimps, not a fan. Crabcake, not good; corn, too salty - I will just stick to their crawfish.

Food is good. If you call in the order give them 30 minutes more than what they tell you. They are a little slow.

We ordered the big pan of crab clusters, shrimp, potatoes, and corn for 39.99. I was very disappointed because it was SUPER SALTY, which took away the actual flavor (spicy) of the food!! They were recommended and I say Thanks but 'No Thanks'!!!

The best thing about this place is that they actually take call in orders as opposed to other fish markets located in the close vicinity. The quality of the crawfish is alright, but I really do not like their blue crab. Make sure to add corn and potatoes to complete your meal.

WORST FOOD EVER!!! Fries are old!!! EVERYTHING tastes old. Claims to be fresh.. not fresh at all! They forgot a few items that I paid for! Spring rolls salty! Their food is extremely salty and taste really really old! Do not recommend this place to anyone even if they were starving! If you want old salty seafood. This is the place for you!!!

These people ruined my wife's birthday. I called and ordered 50lbs of crawfish. I called a week in advance I even called them to verify and confirm that I was coming to get the crawfish Friday a day before. I get here on time 3pm Saturday the same time I called and told them multiple times all for the to look at me and say "oh we thought you weren't coming" they said they called me and my phone was out of service. I gave them my number like 4 times over the phone. I looked at the paper that I ordered and it shows my entire number except the last 2 digits of the number is scribble scrabble no one can read. The last two numbers of the phone number look like something my son wrote down. So now her surprise birthday is ruined as well as everyone waiting to get there. Thanks to the incompetent people who work here. Service here is terrible I would never recommend this place ever. I even drove 45 minutes to get here because a friend recommended it. HUGE MISTAKE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Food cooked to order. The wait depends on the day, weekend and evenings is longer due to the amount of call in orders. I always do walk in and just wait. I love ocean perch but do not want to cook it at my home, They do a very good job of frying, price is reasonable for a pound of fish.

Horrrrible, I ordered 2 crab leg combos, and the crab meat was brown! After I complained, they gave me a second batch of brown crabmeat! A year ago the really lived up to there name for fresh quality seafood. I'm not sure what happened? The only thing that I would order from this business is there "large" broiled shrimp and fries. Even their red potatoes were served old. Soo disappointed. They definitely need new management.

The food is absolutely "Delicious". The staff is always kind!! Great customer service!! I drive a little over an hour one way to eat at this restaurant!! The food is ALWAYS seasoned and hot. I LOVE this place!! I'm from Florida and I'm use to Good seafood! Quality Fresh Seafood by far is One of The Best of the Best seafood spots here in Atlanta!!

Wouldn't have given any stars if possible! RACIST TOWARDS MINORTIES After waiting for more than 40 minutes on an order of hush puppies an order was called. Never received an order number, so I approached the totally unprofessional Asian woman at the front counter. She was joking stating to one of her coworkers, "I don't know whose order it is, they all look alike". I was astounded to say the least. To hear a racial comment come from a foreigner, and with the diversity of clientele, it was extremely disheartening, especially in the 21st century!! Needless to say I won't be returning and pray that no other minority would have to hear racial comments from a place they patronize.

3.99 for crawfishes and perfect seasoning!? You can't beat this place. The location and environment is very sketch but I don't mind doing a takeout. Please be patient when you order your food ladies and gentlemen. Be expect to wait 30 mins to get your food because this place is very popular among the area. I would drive 40 mins everytime I'm craving crawfish.

This have been the best place in south side for seafood. I've tried so many places around but they're not as good as quality seafood. Quality seafoods stay pretty busy, I suggest you call ahead and place an order. When you call in, you might get a busy signal but keep trying. One time I called 10 times before I got through lol

Rudest and most unprofessional place I have EVER experienced! I placed a large order and according to the person that took my order it was placed . I asked her for the total and she then told me she didn't know and that I could get my total by either being placed on hold or waiting until I come in. So after holding for a several moments , the owner gets on the phone very rudely and tells me that he doesn't know the total either and that they are very busy and that I need to come in and PLACE my order and I just told him I placed it with the previous employee . The owner proceeds to tell me they are very busy and HANGS UP IN MY FACE ! I then call back and ask was my order placed and they tell me I can't place a order over the phone because they are too busy ! Extremely unprofessional!

Be sure to order 45 min in advance and wait another 30 once you get there for them to cook it when you arrive

Awesome place to go. Especially for large orders of cajun style crawfish. The wait time is usually pretty long because of the shortage of people so it is best to call and order if you are getting a giant bag of a certain seafood. The crawfish is perfectly seasoned and will make you coming back for more. I usually get the 10lbs bag of cooked crawfish.

These small seafood restaurants are ALWAYS sketchy to me. But when you see a regular line of people ordering food you know they know something you don't. You start to realize that it's a secret that you're not in on and you have to try it out. That's how it was for me and this place. It took me a long time to try it out and I even had to go with a friend but I'm so happy I did and yum yum yum. Crawfish and the flavors and the seafood somehow just taste really fresh and flavorful all the time when I come here.

Crawfish was the best I've had outside of the gulf coast. Will be back (probably tomorrow).

Short and simple for this place, not the greatest looking establishment but has the best seafood made to order or fresh. I always make a trip here and now to get their crawfish. Only $3.99 a pound which is extremely cheap compared to other places on the northside. The crawfish here is usually big in size as well. If you want to enjoy your crawfish, you will order the mild which is their first level of spice. It is spicy enough for mild. If you want to nearly cry and jug bottles and bottles of dasani water then I guess order spicy. I like to enjoy my regular 3 pounds without my tongue constantly burning. Call in at least 15 minutes ahead if you don't want to stand and wait. This place is not meant to dine in, it is very cramped. They also have other seafood platters on the menu, tried the love boat before and it includes PLENTY of food for at least 3. Add a few pounds of crawfish to a platter and you'll get rid of the cravings all at once. Hope this place stays open for as long as it can, Georgia is very hard to find the best and cheapest crawfish to defeat my cravings.

The restaurant was smelling awful from the parking lot all the way inside. Need to have a health score since food preparation is taking place.

This place is horrible...preys on the not so fortunate. The food is old not fresh they actually gave us re-fried fish. Stale old hushpuppies and you can only imagine when they last changed/used clean fresh grease. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And the two people that gave it good reviews work there. I was just there on April 7th...DONT GO! Save your money

I always order my crawfish from here, even if it means I have to drive 35 minutes to get there. The spicy is extremely spicy and sometimes warrants me to order the mild instead; but it is oh-so-good. Calling in your order may reduce the wait time if you have a big order; but during their peak times it doesn't seem to help because everyone is waiting on their orders and it can get a little crazy. But there's a reason ppl come here; the seafood is so good!

Wow. After a couple of take outs this place was wonderful. My last two orders 1 in January 2013 and one 03/06/2013 was horrible. The fish was burnt to a crisp and tasteless. I ordered the 4 trout dinner but got some tasteless fish nuggets which, due to the bones could have been pike(a cheap bony fish). The catfish was old and I got served nothing but the stomach flaps. I threw the whole mess out. I will now go back to Jasmines on Old National where you get what you order. Strangely the place was empty where in the past it has been jam packed and very busy. Maybe the knock off fish put everyone off! By the way the cook was now the delivery guy and the woman cooking had no clue. The cashier was no longer the nice Thai woman but a strange knock off again! Don't go there! The fish had a slight chlorine smell like it had been washed in bleach to remove the rotting smell.

Rude Asians. Food ok. Sometimes it is too spicy without a flavor. Prices kind of high for low country boils. And they charge an extra dollar per pound on their fresh seafood if you have them cook it on top of the cash $1 they charge for cooking it. They are very very very slow!! Be prepared to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes for your food. They do not pill the boiled eggs. They give you 2 boiled eggs still in the shell with no seasoning on it.

My family always orders crawfish at this place! You can get it mild or spicy! I can never get enough crawfish here. And when you dip the crawfish in melted butter, ohh myyyy gosh. Looooove
