The Best Restaurants in Sacramento’s Little Saigon Neighborhood | Eater SF

"Eating at Quan Nem is best with two or more, because the roll-your-own spring rolls are interactive and meant to be a communal affair. The house special is what most order, and it comes with some of the tastiest nem nuong cuon (charbroiled ground pork skewers) around. Soak the rice paper in water until soft and fill with your choice of meat, herbs and vegetables, do chua (pickled daikon and carrot), vermicelli, and two tiny, precious nem chua (sour fermented pork sausage embedded with whole chilies and garlic cloves). The challenge is in trying to achieve the optimal combo of flavors in every bite while making a roll of manageable size and neatness. Pescatarians can order fish cakes with the special (rather than pork), and the banh beo (rice cake topped with dried shrimp) appetizers are a delicious starter." - Becky Grunewald

Excellent authentic Vietnamese food! The house special is a must-try - you make your own spring rolls with 8 rice papers, fresh veggies, vermicelli, crispy wrap, and ground pork skewers. So much fun and absolutely delicious (10/10!). The grilled marinated pork over rice was tasty, though the rice was quite hard and dry for my preference. (6/10) Heads up about parking - use the lots around the corner but don’t leave valuables in your car (restaurant posts helpful warning signs).

Google
An authentic vietnamese cuisine in Sacramento. Have came here many times. I always go for the house special diy rolls set. It comes with 5-6 rice paper in a water standing trays, 2 boats one for sort of meat, rice noodle; one for mixed of green salad, pickles and cucumbers. If you have never tried Vietnamese food before you may find it hard to know which one put first and how to roll. But worth a try. My friend really like it. After couple tries, they do it so well and enjoy their own style rolls. The special dipping sauce is good and their real spicy chilly. Be careful to add just a little bit every time. The servers usually warn customers about their spicy chilli. Ycan ask for extra sauce to mix in if accidentally make it too spicy but they may charge you extra if you not take their warning seriously. Their durain or jackfruit smothie’s really good. A must try. Restaurant’s always crowded. Very simple restaurant without much interior decor. Food’s good is most important!!!!. But sorry i have to take out 2 stars for the cleanliness and safety. Somehow i feel that much take extra care about hygiene. Restroom so mess up. Understand they always busy but the trash bin’s over full spilled out on floor. Toilet brush’s kept in old water jug right in front of eyesight when you sit on toilet bowl. The second matter: be careful for parking. Even right outside of restaurant, not so safety area. No cameras and no light outside. I don’t know if owner must have some solution for improving more security especially in the evening. 3 stars overall for everything . Food’s recommended but be cautious for coming to this area in the night time. This’s also reason why i come here not so often

I think I am kind enough to leave 4 stars review. I absolutely love this place bc I always visited this restaurant when I was in college at UC Davis. Lots of memories. However, I ordered no.7 today, which is supposed to be the marinated grill pork roll but they just gave me grilled chicken. Last year when I came back to SAC was exactly the same situation. I guess they didn’t translate the menu correctly. I also heard that this is exactly happening in Vietnam, too. Curious about the way they operate the business.

I love the fresh rolls, especially grilled pork, it was good. If you like eating vegetables, try this place out. Portion is good and prices are right. Edit May 2025; Came back after 6 years and the food is still good. I liked the nem nuong, shrimp rolls and noodles. The rolls were fresh and shrimp was really nice and juicy.

Google
The food was good, but I have to take off a few stars for cleanliness. I noticed the server who attended to us walking into the bathroom with gloves on and coming out still wearing gloves. I’m not sure if they were the same gloves, but it raised some concerns about hygiene.

Google
Best spring rolls in Sacramento. My favorite dish from them is the house special #1. Their food is delicious and service is great. Highly recommended! Warning: their red spice is really spicy. Use it sparingly.

Google
DISAPPOINTED! NEVER COME BACK!!! Food is moderately ok for Bánh Bèo & House Special, but the service is terrible. Servers are not nice and uncomfortable in serving food as if they are afraid of not having tips. I’m not talking about auto-charge 18% tip/gratuity for 6 or more, but about their DISHONESTY. We have 6 adults and 4 kids, and the $290 bill was said by the small lady without giving us any receipt. My family requested the receipt 3 times, but she did not. When my mom was paying cash, she gave my mom options to add % tip to $290. My mom luckily skipped because we have left cash for tips on the table. When I requested the receipt, the receipt was not on their system, and she has to manually create the other one. How comes she got cash for the bill, and the it was not on the system? If she is not the owner, sorry I don’t care how she deals with my cash, but RIDICULOUSLY, I found that $290 bill included 18% gratuity when I had the receipt. They did not even say it when my mom asked or left cash on the table. Everyone needs money, but please don’t be DISHONEST and GREEDY to that inappropriate money. We will never come back again because several better options are out there with TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY

Google
You can definitely taste the freshness! Place is known for the "make your own" spring rolls but they can be ordered rolled as well! Don't expect the peanut dipping sauce!

Yelp
Unfortunately docking 1 star for our latest visit. We got the nem nuong cuon (pre-wrapped vs. doing it ourselves since we did it on our last visit), the banh canh cha ca, and the banh bot loc la. The pork rolls weren't as good as we remembered from our previous visit and didn't seem fresh. The banh canh cha ca was a bit flavorless, and the udon noodles had the very distinct flavor of packaged udon in a way that was a bit overwhelming. The banh bot loc la was okay but came out so hot that they were really hard to unwrap and eat because they kept sticking to the banana leaves. We still enjoyed our meal but felt that 4 stars was more accurate for our most recent experience.

Yelp
Came here for my cousin's graduation lunch and they had almost a full house when arriving. We had to split our group into three different tables in order to decrease the wait time which actually made things easier when ordering. I was super excited to try this place as it had many dishes that I love. To start off, I ordered the Vietnamese coffee which was too strong for my liking and I wish they had more condensed milk added to it. However, many people I came with loved how strong it was. For our starters we ordered the Banh Bot Loc and Nem Nuong Cuon which were both pretty good and had lots of flavor. I wish the Banh Bot Loc was a little less soggy because it was so hot that it was a little hard to eat. I also ordered Bun Nem Nuong which both my mom and I didn't really enjoy. The noodles were too hot and the noodles would break while trying to pick it up. The fish sauce here really was not my favorite either. However, I liked the meat and how flavorful it was in this dish. This restaurant had a very chill atmosphere and everything was priced very reasonably. I noticed that they also had catering for a lot of the items which is also pretty cool. Overall, this place had lots of items and I would come back to try more of them.

Yelp
This is my fave spot for Vietnamese street food in Sac. We were in the area visiting relatives and decided to come here for lunch. Ordered nem nuong Cuon (make it your yourself) rolls, Bánh xeo, Bánh Beo, bot loc, fried shrimp rolls, and iced coffee. Nem nuong cuon: came with grilled meat, spring roll wrappers, veggie fixings, and dipping sauce Bánh Beo: 10 steamed rice cakes topped with mince dried shrimp and green onion with oil and dipping sauce Bánh xeo: crispy Vietnamese crepe with pork belly, shrimps and bean sprouts plus dipping sauce Bot loc: steamed tapioca filled with dried shrimps Fried shrimp rolls: i was too full so I did not try this roll but auntie said it is good Overall: everything we had was delicious. The veggie fixings and the dipping sauce add a nice touch to enhance the flavors Drove from Bay Area to visit relatives and ate here. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area. Also have plenty of parking which is a plus for us!

Yelp
Everything tasted great, would definitely come back for the salad and the pork for sure.

Yelp
Love this place for their com tam and their spring rolls. This plate is so cheap for how much food they put on your plate. The spring rolls are also to die for. Every time I crave spring rolls I make the drive 30 minutes to pick some up here.

Yelp
The nem nuong spring rolls are my favorite here! And the sauce! I just wanted to come on here and let those who park here know to not leave important belongings in the car, evidently this area is a hot spot for break ins. Unfortunately my car was broken into and the thieves got away with a couple of items. Just came back from a camping trip in Tahoe and wanted to stop by my favorite spot in Sac before heading back to the bay. What should've been the cherry on top of a great trip turned into a headache. Wanted to thank the friendly staff for notifying me and giving me tape and bags to help cover the damage for the ride home. Don't let this deter you from an amazing spot.

Yelp
Everyone loves a good viet place! This one nailed the spot trying to find a place on the way home from a long trip. Thank you Yelp! The place was super packed! Signs that we were in the right restaurant! Nem nuong spring rolls - 4 huge rolls with a delicious dipping sauce which you just want to smother all over it (5/5) Banh Beo - 10 dishes served (5/5) Hu Tieu - piping hot bowl of soup topped with shrimp, squid, cha ca, and quail eggs (4/5) and a big plate of sprouts Com Ga with eggroll and a runny egg (5/5) This has to be on the best rice chicken plates I've eaten. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful and not dry along with a runny perfectly cooked egg to drip into my rice and dunk my veggies in my Nuoc mam. They also have really hot chili condiments. I put some to go with my nem nuong sauce and my mouth was on fire. So if you have a really good spice tolerance add it to everything. It's super fresh. Everything was delicious and we gobbled up every last bite! This place is getting book marked to come back again when in town.

Yelp
Was craving for spring rolls and this is the best place for it! Got the grilled pork and fish cake spring rolls. My friend also recommended their fish cake noodle soup which comes with fish cakes, fish meatballs and a piece of fish. The broth was light and refreshing. It was a delicious soup. Ordering took a while because they're bery busy with a lot of to go orders but once they took your order the food came out fast.

Yelp
Great viet spot in Sacramento. Place can be a lil sketchy. Came on a Friday night and saw a few hookers walking down the street in front of restaurant This place close fairly early for an Asian restaurant. Coming from OC where we have good viet food I say this place is a good contender. My fave is their DIY nem Cuom roll which says serves 2 person but can really be a good appetizer for 4 people. The other dishes such as vermicelli noodles weren't bad either. Overall great viet spot in the area

Yelp
Totally forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry. My girlfriend took me as she had dined at QNNH the day before and was so hankering their thin noodles again! She was correct in saying this place is delicious. Couldn't believe how crowded the restaurant on Stockton Blvd was upon opening at 11am! We both ordered the grilled shrimp with thin noodles. The preparation is so different from my prior experience ordering this at other Vietnamese restaurants. Rather than one big bowl of noodles, the dish came out unassembled on a big plate. Plenty of fresh basil, and celantro- yes. The shrimp was nicely butterflied and grilled with sprinkles of herbs and chopped peanut. Extra yummy. I chose to mix it all up on my plate and chow it down with the sweet fish sauce poured over the top. So fresh and full of quality ingredients made this a delightful meal. I can see the rave.

Yelp
First time here after a long ski day in Tahoe and wow was this amazing! We ordered 2 orders of their nem nuong cuon for a group of 5 and it was more than enough for all of us. I loved how it's set up so you assemble it yourself and there's plenty of each toppings for each of the rolls. We also ordered different rice dishes to share and it was the perfect addition to the rolls!

Yelp
Our timing was great. Sat down and 30 minutes later, the place was packed. I ordered #31, char- broiled pork with vermicelli, daikon radish, carrot, lettuce and sweet vinegar sauce tasted so fresh. Plenty of parking. Pay at the counter. It's been a few years since we we came last, and it's gotten even better than I remembered.

Yelp
This review is based on service. Ordered pickup an hour before getting to the restaurant and was informed it'll take 10-15 minutes. Get there and paid, and the cashier calls out my order to the back. Order isn't ready. Half of the time when I do make my visits, they also were not ready although I gave ample time to pickup.

Yelp
I've visited this location quite a few times. It's the go to stop on sac for Vietnamese spring rolls. For spring rolls, there are options to get a DIY set (combo sets with various fillings and you make the rolls yourself), or orders of 4 rolls. My personal favorite is the #2 (charbroiled ground pork). I've also had the steamed pork and shrimp, which just has a cleaner, lighter taste. The rolls also come with a thick house dipping sauce that is probably some combination of peanut and thai chili sauce? Though the rolls are my favorite item on the menu, you cannot go wrong with the vermicelli or rice plates. The serving sizes are reasonable (definitely filling), and if you're getting take out, they'll actually separate the components for you to mix at home too. This is a no frills restaurant, not quite a hole in the wall, but don't expect things to be new and shiny. Service is pretty fast, so usually I call ahead for takeout and it's ready upon arrival. Despite being a busy asian (I think family owned?) restaurant, they're usually quite nice over the phone! Parking looks a little sketchy and this location is located right off a main street next to some potentially closed(?) store fronts so it is what it is.

Yelp
I go there for the sausage spring rolls! They are definitely the best in town. What I like about them is that they have an explosion of texture and flavor when you bite into it.

Yelp
Quan Nem Ninh HOA is basically my food sanctuary - been vibing with it since my Sacramento days, and it's a non-negotiable stop on every Lake Tahoe road trip. Alright, let's talk grub. Banh Xeo? Yup. Nem Nuong Cuon? Without a doubt. Broken Rice with all the fixings - spring roll, egg, and beef? It's the whole shebang. And that nem nuong cuon sauce? It's like flavor wizardry - seriously next level. So, we rolled in with a crew of 12, gave 'em a heads up, and everything flowed smoothly. The food? Reliable as ever - never left with that post-meal letdown. Service? It's cool. Not rolling out the red carpet, but it fits the laid-back vibe. The crew is chill, and orders come in swift, keeping the vibe easygoing. Parking? No stress. They've got spots behind and next to the joint, so no circling the block drama. To sum it up, Quan Nem Ninh HOA isn't just a spot to grab a bite; it's a food journey I've been on for years. The flavors, especially that nem nuong cuon sauce, keep me hooked. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a tasty, no-fuss spot with parking - what more could you ask for?

Yelp
The spread for various Vietnamese spring rolls was awesome! Great price. Tasty. I would come back.
google avatar

Mark Q.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the make your own spring roll of two is a lot of food! We got the grilled chicken and the chicken fried rice! Although I am on a diet, there have you enough chicken that would satisfy anyones macros and the flavor is phenomenal! It's small restaurant so be sure to go there before the dinner rush because once we were sitting down a bunch of people showed up.
google avatar

Cactus K.

Yelp
Chairs are compact and not comfortable if many people are in the restaurant. Environment is most suitable when the place is not too busy. I tried a dish from the vermicelli section of the menu and it was worth the price. It was $13-14. You're dependent on the fish sauce to make the noodles taste good.
google avatar

Tina A.

Yelp
Came here for the favorite items, perhaps not up to par with so cal Nem nuong coun - nem nuong just generally salty but without much flavor - sauce was disappointing, not as livery or crabby as Brodard from socal or spots in Oakland, also there was bright pink dyed meat in the mix, ugh - 3 stars Bahn Beo - smooth, fresh and not grainy at all. Well executed and some nice flavors. I did miss the mung bean though. Unsure if they forgot or is just how it is over here - stars Wait was quite long, like almost 30 minutes for these 2 dishes Service was typical asian restaurant and atmosphere was relatively clean Overall it was just OK, unsure if I'd return

Yelp
Woooow how fun! You can order spring rolls to make yourself. What a great bonding activity to do while you enjoy some good food and good company. It's very fairly priced ($27 for two) which really could be enough food to feed three people. They give you pork skewers, cilantro, mint, lettuce, crunchy rolls, pickled radish and cucumbers. Along with a peanuty Thai sauce for dipping. You dip your spring roll wrap in warm water and roll them right there at the table! Two spring rolls were quite filling on an empty stomach.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover. I mean when you drive by you probably thought this place was closed or something. We got there and almost went home cause we didn't see the "open" sign on. It turns out they were open and busy! This place is so legit. We ordered the House Special #1 (serves 2 people), which contains 8 rice papers, 4 house BBQ charbroiled pork skewers, 2 fermented pork, 8 fried crispy wraps, Angel vermicelli noodles (woven noodles), and assorted vegetables. Let's just say this was PLENTY of food to feed us both! We devoured it all. It was so fun rolling your own nem nuong rolls. Love the crispy aspect from the wraps. The dipping sauce was soo addicting. Service was quick. I honestly felt like I was eating in Vietnam! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Marichris P.

Yelp
Everytime I come here is a win! This time I ordered just the #27 Charbroiled pork vermicelli dish. My favorite place for spring rolls and vermicelli. Haven't tried the pho yet but that will be the next item on the list for sure.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for awhile because I heard a lot of great things about the food. I was in the area so got some food to go. The restaurant was busy so it was a 20 min wait for my food. Tried their Banh xeo and their pork fresh rolls. The shrimp in the banh xeo still had the shells attached which I did not like but the crispiness of the crepe was on point. The pork rolls or number 2 on the menu was delicious with their sauce and the spicy chili sauce had a great kick! I liked that they put a crispy roll in it to give it a crunch. I would definitely return with a group of people to make my own rolls which is what they are known for.
google avatar

Shanna C.

Yelp
This place is definitely a gem! Came here with a large group before heading to the airport. I ordered the special for 2 people. It comes with enough ingredients for 8 rolls that you make yourself. All the ingredients come nicely prepped in a boat shaped container. I like that you can put in more/less of what you want in your roll, and it is definitely an experience if you've never made your own spring rolls. We also ended up ordering some premade rolls for dinner at the airport. You get 4 rolls per order, and the price point is quite reasonable for the roll size. All of the ingredients here tasted so fresh, which is a huge plus, especially for spring rolls I hope to come back again if I am ever in the area!
google avatar

Emmy H.

Yelp
They have the best grilled pork sausage spring rolls! The vermicelli noodles never disappoints
google avatar

Esha D.

Yelp
This restaurant serves bright, fresh, and delicious food! We loved the spring rolls and the egg rolls. Every entree we ordered was delicious, but we particularly enjoyed the BBQ chicken with rice. It was not overly sweet, but well-balanced and perfectly cooked. If you're looking for a unique soda, I really recommend the salted preserved lime soda. It is tangy and lightly salty and super refreshing. The atmosphere is casual and communal. No fuss, just good food. As a heads up, be sure to ask about any potential allergens, as they may not be posted on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a lunch date here on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't busy by any means as we stopped in during non-peak hours. We ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls to share which we ended up packing ToGo because those rolls were humongous. I ordered the #18 on the menu which is their Hu Tieu Dac Biet. The dish was my choice of rice noodles, egg noodles or clear noodles generously topped off with pork cake, squid, quail eggs, shrimp and sautéed ground pork. My date ordered #21 on the menu which is their Com Suon Trung Cha Gio. The rice plate came equipped with grilled marinated pork chops, a couple of fried eggs, diced up eggrolls, and fresh herbs and vegetables. It was a good meal. A very memorable one. I look forward to returning. Support local small businesses y'all!

Yelp
Nem neung 20 pc. $55 I ordered 2 trays = $108 & 2 dipping sauce . Spoke with Henry two days before over the phone . Asked if he can pre charge my CC prior to me coming in the day off to pick up. Also request for them to have the spring rolls ready . I will not be able to wait for the kitchen staff to make the rolls due to time constraints . Walked in Sunday and I can see at noon this restaurant is packed . My two trays was already there waiting for me . Henry was at the register when I walked in . We exchanged pleasantries from our past phone conversations and he wished me safe travels and a great party . So far the nem neung spring rolls looks good . Will update later what every one at the party thinks of the food. This is my update: everyone at the party loved the nem neung spring rolls , so fresh and crunch tasting .
google avatar

Carloutta H.

Yelp
Typically only order to go, however, bf wanted me to have the full dine in experience so we dined in. We had wrap your own spring rolls. He did all the wrapping for me. Rolls were delicious. Loved the fresh herbs. Bathroom was clean.

Yelp
After watching one of the Vietnam episodes from No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, I wanted to try Bánh Xèo. I sat down around 2:00pm on Thursday and the restaurant was about 70% full. It took a little bit for the Bánh Xèo to arrive, but arrive it did, and it was excellent. I made some lettuce wraps with the Bánh Xèo, mint leaves, basil leaves (I think), and the other vegetables that were provided, then I dipped it into the fish sauce spiked with red chilies, and it was excellent. Such a variety of tastes and textures.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. This place is BOMB. Their food was so tasty and fresh! We were here for a wedding and to visit some family, so they took us to get some yummy Vietnamese food, and Sacramento had quite a lot! This place served us some delicious spring rolls that you gotta wrap yourself and they gave us boat loads of fresh veggies and herbs, and also those crispy spring rolls skin! I also like the environment was pretty modern and clean, and there were tables to accommodate a large group of people. If we were in the area again, we would totally visit this restaurant again!
google avatar

Betsaida C.

Yelp
I ordered the Vietnamese pancake, fried rice and the ones pictured below. None of it was really to my liking. The pancake had barely any shrimp (and the ones that were there still had the skin on) but it did have a shit load of bean sprouts that's for sure. The fried rice was mostly peas and carrots. There was barely any rice or even meat on it. Which was a shame because the meat that we could taste was fantastic! Lastly the ones pictured below had TOO MUCH pepper. It was like eating chunks of it. No thanks. Their service was okay, they didn't check up on us after we ordered. But I expected that. Ambiance was chill. Nothing too fancy.
google avatar

Jason Y.

Yelp
There aren't that many places in the bay that has this do it yourself hand rolls. So they're one of the best along with their vietnamese coffee. Nothing fancy, typical get in, get out vietnamese restaurant with quick service and good food.

Nani L.

Yelp
For authenticity, the best is House Special No 1 $27.50 for 2. If you're not adept at wrapping,, you can request they wrap your rolls for you. $13.50 BunThit Nuong grilled pork over vermicelli was okay. The pork didn't have the full grilled flavor accustomed to at other restaurants. $9.50 Banh Beo: nice presentation but a little bland. Free parking in onsite parking lot. Many native-speakers of Vietnamese in and out for their take-out orders
google avatar

Leanne D.

Yelp
One of my favorite picks for Vietnamese food in Sacramento, this place has probably the best nem nuong I've had. The menu is extensive and you couldn't go wrong here. In this trip, we tried the nem nuong, spring rolls and the spread didn't disappoint. Service is quick and is typical of what you would expect from an Asian restaurant and the several times we've gone here it's typically packed. Ambiance is a hustle, bustle, and loud deal but that's what I go for when it's Asian food - it's a good thing!
google avatar

S T.

Yelp
Quan Nem Ninh Hoa is my go-to spot for great Vietnamese food. The food is a solid 4/5, even though service can be inconsistent. Their spring rolls are a highlight - crispy and served with a delicious dipping sauce. Banh Bro is consistently good, and the Nuong Con House Special Charbroiled ground pork is a standout. Service may not always be perfect, but the food's quality and authenticity make this place a must-visit for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. If you crave tasty spring rolls and mouthwatering pork dishes, Quan Nem Ninh Hoa is the place to be.
google avatar

Gretchen T.

Yelp
Came a little after noon on a Saturday and they were pretty busy, but I was able to get seated right away. I ordered number 2, the ground pork spring rolls, and number 13, the banh xeo. The spring rolls came out quickly and they were delicious. The grilled ground pork was super flavorful and all the veggies were so fresh. The orange sauce was so good too. It came with four large spring rolls. The banh xeo took some time to cook and it came out piping hot. The crepe was nice and crispy with thin pork slices and pieces of shrimp fried into it. There was a ton of bean sprouts inside and everything was steaming hot. It came with some lettuce and herbs and some pickled carrots and daikon. The sauce was like a sweet fish sauce. Everything was great. Next time I'll ask for some rice paper to wrap everything up in. It was a little messy with just the lettuce. Could have used more lettuce as well. It came out to $30 including tip. 10000% would come back for more.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
The orange sauce is everything. Got the House Special #1 that came with an orange crab dipping sauce which I devoured. I would drive 2 hours for this place. Logistics: -Private parking lot -Clean bathroom -Can seat large parties (6 people ish?) -Catering size takeout available -Takes card

Yelp
Quan Nem Ninh Hoa is located in a small strip mall with Pho Saigon Bay that has parking available. My husband and I decided to try this restaurant on a Wednesday around 5:15 pm. We were the only people inside (besides an employee eating and another employee working and filling to go orders). After looking over the menus, we ended up ordering: #46 Cuon Chay (Tofu spring rolls), $10.95 prior to tax- Come in an order of 4 large rolls filled with tofu, lettuce, vermicelli noodles. Very tasty and filling, I was only able to eat 2 and took the other 2 to go. The only thing I don't like as much is the spring roll wrapper itself, as I wished it was a little softer. But at least it doesn't rip apart when biting into the roll. #11 Banh Beo (Steamed rice cakes), $9.25 prior to tax- Banh Beo is one of favorite appetizers to order when I dine at a Vietnamese restaurant and will always order it when I see it on the menu. This came in an order of 10 steamed rice cakes that is topped with fried onions, chives and ground shrimp, served with a side of fish sauce. Simple but delicious. Perfect to share with another or perfect for one person as a meal. #2 Nem Nuong Cuon (Pork spring rolls), $10.95 prior to tax- This also came in an order of 4 large rolls served with charbroiled pork, lettuce, vermicelli noodles. Very tasty and filling, my husband only had one and took the other 3 to go since he was wanted to eat more of the entree he ordered. #36 Bun Tom (Grilled marinated shrimp over vermicelli, $12.95 prior to tax)- My husband opted for this dish since he wasn't didn't want a noodle soup dish and he usually will pick noodle over rice dishes (I'm the opposite, I rather have rice). This dish had a good amount of large pieces of shrimp, plenty of noodles, chopped peanuts and a few thin egg rolls. The serving size is plenty for 1 person, and also a good size to share. ---------------------------- (Total= $47.96 after tax, prior to tip) Service was friendly and we didn't wait too long to eat. After my husband paid, we walked back to our car. An employee actually walked outside to our car to bring a container that I had left on the table, which I did not realize that I had left. I greatly appreciate that he had done that. Overall, we had a positive experience and would come back to try the other items on the menu.

Yelp
Hands done the best place to get your spring rolls. We always order 2 orders and it feeds a good amount of people. It's their specialty roll that we love with the shrimp and pork. The extra fried wrapper gives it a good crunch.

Yelp
We come here to get the house special spring rolls. It's the sauce that makes it really good. Because this place is so popular sometimes service isn't great, but if the food is good why not keep going right?

Yelp
I would say not the greatest location but the food was really good. They have infamous pork rolls and we also had the clam plate dish which was marinated really well. The drinks were fresh and the banh xeo was super super crispy. The area was not the one we were looking for as we went to south sacramento. Area around was super sketchy and had to watch for my car. People were really nice and food made up for it. They gave us extra sauce and made sure we got everything we wanted in our order. Good experience but might try another location next.

Yelp
If you are just wanting spring rolls and make your own rolls. This is for sure the place! The banh beo was delicious. We enjoyed the food; the only downside was they didn't have many options for noodle soup. If you don't mind, it isn't the cleanest place to be eating at, there was flies flying around. That's why it's 3 stars instead of 4. There is plenty of parking. it's facing a large street so it can be loud. Service is very fast. Portions are pretty good.

Yelp
Quan nem never misses. The house special no. 1 is what they specialize in. Pretty much deconstructed nem rolls. Similar to brodards in SoCal. We also ordered their vermicelli bowl and the hu tieu dac biet. Both of which were great. Order their salted plum and lime drink, it's so refreshing and perfectly balanced. Sweet, salty, tarty, and refreshing. Their Vietnamese coffee was standard. Nothing special but still good. We came on a busy Sunday after snowboarding in Tahoe and the restaurant was pretty packed. Luckily there was a table available when we arrived. Service was great, the food came out quickly too.

Yelp
Favorite place to order to go Spring Rolls tray for any event! Flavorful pork and beef meat with crunchy wrap on the side. The shrimp sauce was always yummy. Sometimes when we feel like doing our spring roll at home we still always buy their sauce. I've eaten here probably handful of times, They actually have good quality food here. I also tried their Ban beo and ban xeo. It was flavorful and yummy. Ambience was good just typical simple restaurant with a lots of seats. Service was a little slow some days but some days they are attentive so far from what I experienced. Thank you and I recommend this to anyone craving some viet food :D

Yelp
I threw the kid's bday party at Urban Air and wanted to provide my guests with appetizers so I ordered Nem nuong cuon, or pork spring rolls. This is the place to get spring rolls!! If you've been to Brodards in socal, you'll appreciate this spot. I ordered three trays, which was 20 rolls for $60 for each tray. My total was about $200. I placed an order the week before. I did not make a payment at the time I ordered, which was a mistake. By the time I got to the restaurant, my order was not ready. I had to wait about 30 minutes, which was fine. I should have paid upfront and I'm sure they would have had it ready for me. I will definitely be ordering my spring rolls for parties for here on out.

Yelp
I like bánh hỏi over bún. This is served with gà nướng. The marinade on the chicken is very good.

Yelp
Pork spring rolls are a must!! Whether you eat there and build your own or do take out already done, it is absolutely delicious. Every time we pass through Sac, we have to come get out fix! I also tried their spicy shrimp/pork salad and it was also super tasty but the dressing was definitely on the spicier side
