"This 21-plus arcade and pinball machine is home to more than 40 pinball machines and more than 55 arcade games, ranging from classics to contemporary; outside of games, Quarterworld also features two full bars and a menu of smash burgers, pretzels with garlic cheese, and pizza slices. In addition to single cocktails, QuarterWorld serves a selection of large format drinks, like the Altered Beast — a mix of tequila, grapefruit, cranberry, and Black Cherry White Claw. Quarterworld charges a $2 entry fee on most days." - Maya MacEvoy

This is a really cool barcade. They have a solid selection of games without overwhelming you. (I especially love that they have SoulCalibur II.) The place is pretty spacious, especially considering the area. They also have a cool karaoke section. Went here once with my partner and I've been wanting to come back here and have some more fun.

Google
If you like “Barcades” then this is the spot for you. Very reasonable prices on games. They also have a large variety: pinball, basketball, air hockey, fighting games, racing games, a dance game, gambling machines (for the adults) and many more! The beer selection isn’t vast but they always have some tasty options to choose from as well as fun cocktails. The smash burger is actually one of my favorite things in life! If they were only a restaurant and sold JUST that, I would still keep coming back… it’s that good. Check their hours of operation before you go because they aren’t open 7 days a week unfortunately but I wish they were! Also there are hours in the evening that are adults only which are great for date night! Anytime we are looking to have a great night out with good eats, good fun, great atmosphere, and games galore, this is definitely the place!

Google
SE PDX/East side of Willamette has some top notch event spots. I've been meaning to go here for some time but didn't find the time until yesterday. As of 3.6.24, games are 25 cent per game when using payrange (an app) on Wednesday nights (check their website for other promos in case this changes in the future). The only downside is that not all games are compatible with payrange but a decent amount are. Pinball is fun once you get the handles. The only frustrating part, which is out of my and their control is the ball going between the flippers! Darn you! Overall, a chill spot. It is far from Beaverton but definitely worth the occasional trip for either just a weeknight/weekend fun or just chilling and drinking/relaxing. Parking can be a b word overall tho. Luckily I found one and didn't have to pay which is always my gripe when visiting PDX.

Google
Nice sized barcade with a decent selection. They had me at Star wars trilogy, even if it wasn't a sit down. Found the Marvel vs Capcom, again v.1 not v.2, but I'll never pass up a good opportunity to berserker barrage. Didn't DL the app, spent most of my $20.

Google
Awesome arcade location with epic pinball lineup. Prices were reasonable and games played great.

Google
This is my husband's "favorite arcade ever". He got a shirt here years ago and it's starting to see some wear and tear. We live in a different state, but I contacted them about possibly buying a new shirt. Donna contacted me right away and sent me pics and prices. It was so easy and she was great. He just opened his shirt for Father's Day and was delighted. Thank you so much Donna, you are an absolute treasure! We can't wait to visit QuarterWorld again next time we're in Portland!

Google
I really enjoy coming here. Good selection of games and pinball. The one issue I really have is an insanely loud racing game that is located right on the left as you enter the main room. I typically wear ear buds while playing Ms Pac man a few rows away. Please turn that racing game volume down as it overwhelms the entire place and I will give 5 stars! 09/21- I am coming back today. I hope to be able to bump this to 5 stars. 7/26/24- I don’t get it. Why would you put a super loud game like Mario cart right on top of ms pac man? Ms pac man takes concentration and you put a racing game literally right on top of it? As soon as I started ms pac a couple took the Mario Cart over and started screaming. And the game itself is very loud. I gave it some time and came back and Mario cart yes is very popular and loud. And had to quit again. I won’t be able to come back. Ms pac man is the main reason I come. Other than I fed your poke machines a bunch and had beverages and food. People that know vintage arcade should know that, very Disappointing. Maybe sell me your ms pac man machine? I will show it the respect it deserves. ✌️ Also maybe your bartenders choose the music. Whatever was playing was stale and I think it would empower them and brighten up the place.

This was such a fun place to go to. Would definitely reccomend coming and checking it out.

Yelp
i love quarter world arcade the video games the food&drinks in portland oregon cool

Paul B.

Yelp
A really fun spot! I enjoyed all the nostalgic arcade games (if it had the X-Men fighter it would have all my old-school favorites). The food was good too!

Kelly B.

Yelp
Tons of arcade games and pinball. The grab machines are a waste claw doenst close fully is just only complaint

Alex W.

Yelp
Fun arcade/bar with drinks. They offer some cheap beers and you can use quarters for the game. There is a $5 cover charge

Beth E.

Yelp
If you are looking for the most delicious Sunday night ... look no further. QuarterWorld Arcade karaoke on Sunday was the best night of my life! You must go. We saw love in a hopeless place.

Julie E.

Yelp
Good variety of arcades. Black light room with pinballs was a fun surprise. Nice they have some seating areas and a bar inside. Expect most games are $0.50 - $1.00. Liked that they use quarters so you aren't committing to a Game card or tokens. Expect it to be very loud, had my kid with auditory sensitivity wear noise cancelling headphones.

Robin J.

Yelp
It's alright - it's dated and dirty and smells like a kindergarten room. I don't go back then get nostalgic and then go and remember why I stay away.

Stephen K.

Yelp
I can't say it was a very good experience. It was a barcade, but I went during a time where kids were allowed (1PM-7PM on weekends), but that was my bad for not researching. So I guess keep that in mind if you want to go for an adult experience. Cover's only a few dollars, and it has a nice arcade feel, but it did feel grungy. I got some quarters, played a game on a Cirqus Voltaire pinball machine, went to play a second game on the same machine...and the machine didn't recognize that the ball was lost, so it was stuck. Okay. Played on the Star Wars: Mandalorian pinball machine, then went to play on some multi-game arcade machine, where it promptly ate two of my quarters. I was just done at that point. I didn't get a chance to try and food or drinks since I was so annoyed. More than a couple of machines were out-of-order. Would've been neat to play arcade Battletoads, but it was one of the ones that was down.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Fun place for adults to eat, drink and be merry I highly recommend their burger and fries! So good

Taylor B.

Yelp
I do really like the concept of QuarterWorld, and everyone was working really nice. But I will also say, even though this is a bar setting, it was pretty disgusting inside. Nothing felt very clean, the bathrooms weren't very well kept up with, and it was overall a sticky experience. I will say, bizarrely, their fries were very very good. The other food... left something to be desired. Overall, pretty cool experience but definitely not a place I'd frequent.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Good drinks, good food and tons of old school video games and pinball machines. What's not to like?

Ciara W.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of this spot. We got an annual membership because we drop in often enough, the price is totally worth it. The games are great, the service is friendly but the music is all over the place and needs some curation. How about sticking with an 80s theme? Fits the game vibe, capitalizes on the Stranger Things fever, it's kid friendly, and then I'm not forced to listen to some god-awful Jimmy Buffett.

Darren Y.

Yelp
Decent arcade. Pay 2 bucks then pay for games. Pinball is 50 or 75 cents - buy 4 get one free. They have a pretty good selection. The place is pretty noisy but I guess what would you expect

Angela M.

Yelp
This is the barcode to go to! All the games are a blast and the drinks are a great deal. Our punch bowl was enough for 4 of us for only $25.

Derek H.

Yelp
The pretzels with garlic cheese are incredible, drink prices are super reasonable and good!

M H.

Yelp
This place is a blast! Just wish they opened a bit earlier. Go here with your crew, though. Super fun!

Gilberto D.

Yelp
Lowkey had a good time with family and little brother very friendly and girl at front entrance was very nice. But the website was falsely advertising the amount of games actually there. Definitely a good amount of pinball machines but definitely not more than 15 (website says 30+) and arcade games says 60+ but had almost 30-40 games total and games range from 50¢-$1 drinks and food were good tho!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
No matter the age, who doesn't love pinball and arcade games, but with drinks! I am quite terrible at pinball, but will challenge anyone to a round, or two, of Space Invaders

Jake S.

Yelp
Old theatre turned arcade bar. Pros and cons are very extreme here. Full bar is moderately priced. Selection of games is fantastic. A variety of stuff from Donkey Kong era all the way up to newest Mariokarts. I think baseline cost for any game is 50 cents. Lots of pinballs. Some machines played flawless others had issues. At least 6 machines were out of order when i was there. The parking is horrible. Expect to park in the nearby neighborhoods and walk past many street tents. Building itself is historic, charming yet dingy. I'd say the best/ most beautiful area in the place is the lounge which has four gorgeous blacklight wall paintings.

Matthew D.

Yelp
Had a interesting visit to this lovely place today. Alot of the pinball machines were not level resulting in the balls falling down faster then normal resulting in loses. I also ordered a sub zero pina colada for $25 that was stated as having 4 servings worth of alcohol. It was a very expensive adult drink that actually had very little alcohol. Was maybe a shot or two at best. The environment was fun and exciting though like an adult arcade. Worth a visit but don't visit the bar or pinball machines too much. Most have a level built in so you can tell if they are level or not thankfully.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Retro video game wonderland. My daughter and I killed the Asteroids high score on the big screen! Dance Dance Revolution? Check. Pinball? They've got them all. Great for all ages; they have basketball, skeeball and others geared towards the littles (welcome until 8pm). Photo booth souvenirs available. Prices were good and the games take quarters, not tokens, with change machines in the lobby. Admission was $1 and seemed fair enough. One of the machines ate some of our quarters, but when we told the bartender, not only did we get the money back, there were also a couple credits put on the game. They've got a menu and full bar, but I ordered a canned cider and am glad I did after my daughter (culinary student) pointed out that the person behind the bar had just handled money, then food, then put their hands in the limes for a cocktail. I'll be more scrupulous when ordering in the future.

Joseph H.

Yelp
What a fun and unique place to revisit your nostalgia! I came here with a friend and we got in before the rush around 8pm. It was 2$ entry and there are atm's inside to pull out money to exchange for quarters. All the classics are inside including Time Crisis, DDR and even an air hockey table. I really enjoyed my time here and the atmosphere.

Sebastian K.

Yelp
As you can tell from my previous review, I used to love this place. As of 2019 though, I'm not as much of a fan. They truncated their menu significantly, raised prices on food/drink and have service so rude I wonder if they go out of their way to hire the rudest people. A couple of visits ago, my wife and I ordered a sandwich and it arrived intact (as in, not cut in half like most sandwich places do it.) Since we wanted to split it, we asked for a knife. The bartender said they didn't have knives. We asked if she could take it to the kitchen for them to cut in half, she said no. Keep in mind, this was a weekday afternoon and we were some of the only people there. We took it back to the table, awkwardly ripped it in half and made a huge mess. She got a 5% tip, something I almost never do. That's typical of the service at Quarterworld. The last time I visited, which was a few weeks ago, will probably be the last time I visit. Same mediocre stuff, and I've given them several chances but they keep failing. The quality keeps going down, and I don't want to keep paying for sub-par dining and gaming experiences.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Quarter arcade that serves drinks and food.....sign me up! They are family friendly unti a certain time and then it becomes 21+. It's a pretty decent space and they have a lot of games to choose from. Most games range from fifty cents to a dollar. It smells a little funky in there but I think that's a bit of a given. The bartender hand made my Yoshi Island Ice Tea and it was perfect. I didntvtey the food but others seemed to be enjoying it. I'm going to come back and check out some of their events.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Fin arcade with lots of different options and interesting games. Food and drink alright, would be fun to add something like avalon has a three dimensional room or laxer tag.

Andrea D.

Yelp
A few machines took our quarters without starting, nobody was available to help us get our money back. Prefer going somewhere that actually reimburses.

Symbio O.

Yelp
This place is freaking amazing !! Had so much fun with my friends here. Amazing space with super nice and skilled staff. Always good beers on tap and quality bar food menu. Glad to hear the tesla cool back in action, if u have never been it's a pdx icon.

Bea B.

Yelp
-good for pin, less so for 80s arcade games. 90s first-person shooter games are in abundance, however. But back to the 80s, as far as games, QW has Donkey King, Galaga, Joust, Ms Pac (fast play), Tron, Tempest...and that's about it, tbh. This place boasts a cool concept, but lacking in some of the 'hits' like Q*Bert, Dig Dug, Centipede, and a huge fav of mine, Burgertime. Booze and food available for those who want to 'mutli-task'. As for pins, Attack from Mars, 3-D was a hoot to play. I forgot how funny the audio was... The game play wasn't always on stellar, but, if you're a pin ball enthusiast, then check this place out! 3 buck cover, 1 buck at Happy Hour.

Gelin Cara T.

Yelp
This place is so dope! We came in randomly before our Pok Pok reservation and got in for only $1 and learned that there was unlimited pinball play that night! WHATTA WIN! This place is really cool and the look of each room was awesome. I really wish I had tried the food but from the look of it, the menu options looked yummy. Next time I find myself in Portland, I'm definitely coming back!

Martha R.

Yelp
Since moving back to Portland a couple months ago, I sure have gotten on the pinball train. I love it, and QuarterWorld has received a fair amount of my cash. LIKES: - Good selection of pinball machines, especially like Monster Bash that's older and has a reasonable replay score - Decent selection of beers, full bar for those so inclined - Glad that they have an adult-only room - Nice bartenders DISLIKES: - A cover? That is just BS. I mean, sure, if you are going to discount the games, but if not... that's crap. And the games are definitely not discounted. - The number of kids that come here - How dingy it is - The prices - The food looks pretty not good. Looks alone have kept me from considering a snack. I miss being in Bend for the arcade place downtown (Victor Volcano) a lot. That place knows how to do it... prices are reasonable and they don't take advantage of those that really love to play pinball even though they aren't that good at it!! ;)

Alena S.

Yelp
definitely one of my favorite places to go, service is great! the games are fun. prices are decent too

Andrew P.

Yelp
Came here for my cousins birthday and this place def brings back the late 80s and 90s feel. They have pinball machine to skee ball to video games. Almost everything most 80s/90s kid will recognize. Don't be fooled though, this place does charge a cover fee (they have reduced cover during happy hour). Being a place name quarter world, one would think that it cost a quarter to play. Each game actually cost about $1-3 and usually about 2-3 lives per game. After that $1 to play again. All of this could add up very quickly. The games were fun, the bar was nice to enjoy some adult beverages while you dive into the games. They also have a separate bar area where it's more quiet.

Harrison T.

Yelp
First time back since Covid, the remodel looks great. Knocking a star off for the dipshit ticket guy. Almost broke my sisters out of state ID in half while staring it over for a full minute, did the same with mine while giving us the stink eye the entire time. You're not the door guy at Roadhouse, you hand out wrist bands at an adult arcade. Chill.

Dun G.

Yelp
I've been coming here since it opened and it's improved a lot, and it was pretty great from the get-go. I'd say the games are decently priced for the most part. And it's pretty clean and fun. The cocktail menu changes a lot and is almost always great. That said the food isn't something I'd bother with, just go basically anywhere else in the neighborhood. Don't do the claw machines- they are set to be a scam; even if you grab something completely the claws are always set to not be able to actually lift even the smallest and lightest plush toys (and it's a dollar a game for less than dollar store quality garbage anyway). Also the staff is just... weird. Some people seem nice and like the want to be there, most have that drama or rude-for-no-reason vibe to them. Luckily you barely have to interact with any of them so that's a minor problem. Seriously though don't bother actually talking to any of them, nine out of ten will treat you like trash. - anyway great great great selection of games and pinball! Sometimes your quarters get eaten, no one will care or help you. And sometimes the pinball machines seem to be pushed up to make balls fall faster but if you're quick it's a fun challenge anyway. I wish they would let games have the top scores back though.

Katie B.

Yelp
I'd give four stars for the bao, which was surprisingly good, but otherwise, I wasn't too impressed by the place. I guess I had higher expectations as soon as I paid the $3 cover charge... I can see the draw for people who basically grew up inside of arcades, so it's got a good customer base, but I don't think it will convert too many people outside of that. There's definitely a lot of games and they have trivia up on the tvs, in a backroom bar. You can play trivia while enjoying a drink or eating a quarter of a pizza - the slices here are huge, by the way. I don't think I would come here a lot but it's an alright place to be to hang out with friends for a couple hours.

Dan F.

Yelp
I wanted to cry within 5 minutes after entering the building. In my world, this is still one of Portland's most Iconic music venues. Formerly known as the Mt. Tabor theater or Sabala's. I have played and/or attended many concerts here. All 15 years of my music career this was a venue that welcomed heavy metal. To see it repainted and packed to the gills with arcade games was extremely difficult for my brain to comprehend. We hung out for a couple hours and once 8pm came around they kick out all the shin kickers. Full bar and stiff drinks. Arcade Wise it's 5star. I had a fun time, but memory wise, I'm crushed.

Mark L.

Yelp
QuarterWorld is a kick back to the 1980's and 90's before there were tablets and smartphones and smart watches. It was a simpler time when Dragon's Lair ruled and Mario was the mack daddy. It was a time when pinball wizard was a title you earned. QuarterWorld brings this all back to life with flair. They took an old movie theater, gutted it out and created a expose of video games, beer drinking and snacking and make it a playground for nostalgic adults. There is a $1.00 cover before 6 and $3.00 after and there are even a few "adult" video games that don't turn on until after 6:00 PM. On the big screen you will see some Soul Train on and on pinball row, you will find the likes of: Guns and Roses, The Big Lebowski and Iron Man. There is even Skee Ball and a life size Space Invaders game. Don't worry if you have no money on you. They have an app that lets you put money into an account and scan the game to pay for it. A little modern innovation. This place will take you back. Wear shoes. Can be a little germy around. Most games are $.50, $.75 or $1.00. Bring your friends and have some fun from the past.

Davin T.

Yelp
We wanted a fun Friday night out and we got quarter world, and it was fun. It started with a long hallway with old fashion arcade games from my youth. Turned right into a large room with the beeps, zings, zangs, and bells that stirred the memory well. Lots of lights emanating from retro pinball machines. With a bar along the far wall that looked like it could cater all your needs. We wandered into a dark and dingier room that had a bar by the left and looked like it was once a small theater. It was cozier and had lots of old school pinballs where we spent most of our time having some drinks and a lot of laughs. It cost three dollars each to get in and probably spent $15-$20 on games for three hours of enjoyment. Drinks and food were reasonably priced and if you are looking for a night out and a bit of a Portland experience this very well might be for you.

Ralph B.

Yelp
I can't comment on the food or drinks here, as I was at QuarterWorld strictly for the games. This is one of the best barcades I've ever been to. I kind of soured on the concept as most barcades in LA are awful. But QuarterWorld restored my faith in the concept. They've got a huge selection of new and old pinball, as well as classic arcade games kept in excellent condition. This is also the only time I've ever seen EA's super rare Battletoads coin-op! Out of all the places I tried in the Portland area, I felt QuarterWorld was the best because of the game selection. I'm also a huge fan of how they use the PayRange app to pay for games if you don't want to use quarters. It doesn't work all the time, but when it does it's much easier than handling coins.

Colleen A.

Yelp
Died and went to Pinball heaven!! Can't wait to play all the games here. I will be back and back and back.

Tara R.

Yelp
Really 3.75 stars, but I will round up. Went here with a friend for his birthday. We arrived during happy hour, and admission was only a dollar each. They have two sections, one all ages that also houses the tesla coil, and a second 21 and over area. Both areas have a bar and can serve food. They've got fair style food, like hand dipped corn dogs and cotton candy. Some of the pin ball machines are 75 cents, while others are 50 cents. As you can guess, the newer machines are more. They've got classic video game machines and fairly new ones as well.

Dina E.

Yelp
I found it weird that they charge a cover.. I get it but was surprised. Fun games (ski ball, basketball, big ass alien attack and pac man games, pinball, and loads of arcade games - - nostalgic and weird alike), and not super crowded on a Saturday evening. Would be a cute date night! Lovely but small tap selection. Food selection sparked no interest lol. Would Def come back.

Hannah A.

Yelp
Came to visit Portland for my bachelorette party, and QuarterWorld never disappoints! We love the atmosphere, drinks and fun games! Always a place to stop by. Thanks for the fun!

Christine L.

Yelp
Great fun place to come with friends! Put it on your list of things to do on a date night or birthday!

Tom T.

Yelp
I'm a fan. My son is a fan. However, both my daughters are not a fan. A buck each gets you in. After six, it's 3 bucks each. It's a giant arcade comprised of games from as far back as the 70's. Huge selection of pinball and many cult favourites; Donkey Kong, space invaders, galaga, and 2nd gen asteroids. Full bar for adults paired with snacks for everyone. I like the service tables next to pinball machines so you can drink and swear at your game. The machines mostly (%95) take 50 cents to play. Change machines are there. Haven't seen the tesla coil operate yet. Not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. No need, I felt, to see if they have Wi Fi. Usual tavern rats hang here as well the sentimental. A twenty will last about an hour with 3 kids.

Rachel D.

Yelp
This place was neat! I had just visited another arcade a week ago for the first time so I knew what to expect this time. There is a small cover fee to enter the arcade ($3, or $1 during happy hour). There are classic games lining the hallway to the main room and the smaller game room. They had a lot of pinball machines. They seemed to a little bit fewer games than Ground Kontrol on the west side but possibly more variety. For example, this place has ski bowl, air hockey, and basketball. They did brag that they have the worlds largest Pac-Man game, which is fun. One of their main attractions is Tessie. What is Tessie you may ask? It's a large Tesla coil. They play music while Tessie shoots lightning within a contained cage. Willamette Week notes that is Portland's "best musical lightning bolt." Not sure if there is any competition but I'm sure it's cool. We unfortunately didn't get to see it.* We didn't sample any of the food or drinks but they have cute names. I would say they have more variety in drinks than in food. Overall, it's a fun place to check out. *They no longer do Tuesday afternoon shows of Tessie - just Sunday afternoon and evenings of both days

Chad P.

Yelp
Disappointing... Really had more hopes for this place. I'll start with the good. -excellent selection! Plenty of older games like Asteroids and Tempest, 90s games like arcade favorite Outrun, and TMNT, newer games with excellent interfaces (including one game with a full bubble screen surrounding you), and lastly old and new games with awesome new touches! I'm talking a giant Pacman board! -pretty good food and excellent bar selection found throughout the facility. -friendly staff and on-site technicians. The not so good: -$3 cover charge. When I heard this, I thought "OKay, it'll be just like WunderLand, where the cover charge is there to cover the cheap cost to play the games. But even with the cover charge, the games...(continued on next line). -pricey games! So I pay a cover charge, but then you charge $.50 to $3 to play them? Get this guys...Ground Kontrol has no cover charge and the vast majority of video games are $.25 and pinball machines are $.50. Why is everything much more expensive here? WHY ARE ASTEROIDS AND TEMPEST $.50? THEY ARE OVER 30 YEARS OLD! Definitely not like this at Ground Kontrol. -misleading name. It should be called Quarter(s) World. Or maybe Many Quarters World. Sorry, guys. I'll stick to Ground Kontrol.

Samuel C.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE quarter world. I was just there with my best friend. There were two fried haired blond women there without masks. I first saw them waiting at the bar with NO MASK on a busy Friday night. The bartenders said nothing. These two people did not wear a mask the whole night AND they were rude AF. As me and my best friend were leaving I told the person at the door what was up and they said there was NOTHING that they could do???? Isn't there a new Covid variant ????? What the fuck do you mean you can't make them wear a mask? The girls were in the hall playing games within eye sight (without a mask obvi) and they said all they could do was also then to wear a mask and if they didn't, there was nothing they could do???? The person at the door was just following directions but like what???????

Leslie C.

Yelp
Quarter World.... More like Rip-Off World.... I really wanted to like this place...But there is SO MANY THINGS that are truly $@#^&* up, about Quarter World, I'm just going to have to make a list: 1. $3.00 COVER CHARGE? WTH!!!?? I did not attend during the, 'happy hour,' session, so please spare me the canned response that you guys offer $1.00 entry during crappy times. 2. THIS BUSINESS HAPPILY PARTICIPATES IN PRICE GOUGING!!!! $.50 cents... For Dig Dug? The game is ALMOST 40 years old! All games, range from, $.50, up to $1.00 or more... For old school video games, that usually cost $.25. 3. YOU WILL LOSE A TON OF MONEY ON BROKEN GAMES. The girl with the forehead tattoo didn't give a damn. Nothing was done... Not even an, "I'm Sorry!" I could understand her flippant attitude, if I just lost a quarter... I mean, $.50... Unfortunately, I lost more money on BROKEN VIDEO GAMES, that what I actually got to play. The girl at the counter flat-out refused to even refund my cover charge, because of the money I lost, and the fact that many, many games are broken. 4. GAMES HAVE BEEN REPROGRAMMED, AND ARE RIGGED. Why is Pacman moving left, when I CLEARLY moved right? Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros. Dig Dug, and several others 'lag,' when you press an action button, thus causing you to lose a life. At first, I thought it was me... Then I played Donkey Kong Several times... Then the Giant Sized Pacman... Then REGULAR Pacman. All exhibited the same kind of, "LAG." 5. Donkey Kong was clearly tampered with, as far as programming goes, because you are NOT playing Mario... Someone Amateur Programmer thought it would be cute to swap Mario and the Princess, so you are actually playing the princess character, trying to save Mario. 6. Beer Selection Sucks. 7. Food Is OLD, COLD, and STALE...... Gross. 8. People had outside drinks everywhere I looked... Yet you saw me, and told me that my coffee wasn't allowed in? Ok. Fine... I understand that you supposedly don't allow outside drinks, but enforce it with everyone... Otherwise, it seems discriminatory to your customer that was forced to leave her drink on the counter, where anyone can touch it. EWE!!! Business Owners: You should be Ashamed of yourself, for the Cover charge and the price gouging alone! Did you EVEN visit Ground Control, or Wunderland, to observe their business model? Wunderland may charge a cover, but the games are a nickel. Ground Control doesn't have a Cover. They charge $.25 a game...And they have been in business for YEARS! They were popular even BEFORE they started selling alcohol!!! You know, I understand that leasing the space, electricity, etc. is expensive... But you are charging DOUBLE, TRIPLE, EVEN QUADRUPLE the price of REALLY OLD, VINTAGE videogames/Pinball Machines that DO NOT WORK, or are reprogrammed. I urge you to rethink the GREED Factor... If you keep your current business model, I guarantee you, that at some point, people are going to get really sick of getting ripped off, and paying the cover charge... Wunderland will eventually win most of your customers, and Ground Control will absorb the die-hard pinball/ vintage video game players. If you guy don't modify the Skeezy business practices, I give you 2 years.... Tops. *****If you have not gone to Quarter-World, Don't. It's not worth Wasting your money on Nonfunctional games, and a ridiculous cover charge... SO DISSAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!! 12/14/18: Update: I actually meant to give a one star review instead of a two star review...Still mad that I got the shaft, on all of the broken games... Not even a refund of my $3.00!!!! Quarter World owners should have just stopped me at the door, turned me upside down, and SHOOK the crap out of me, to obtain every cent of cash I had. I wont be back, unless, of course they stop SHAMELESSLY ripping off local, neighborhood gamers!!!

Yelp
I love arcades! Nothing better than drinking and playing games! ...unless they're drinking games. We went on a Friday and it was pretty crowded. There was a wait at pretty much all of the popular games. There wasn't much wait at the bar though and their beer was reasonably priced. I didn't try their food.
