We absolutely loved our stay at Antonio’s unique space in Modena. The shared outdoor patio space is charming and we loved the eclectic kitchen. We enjoyed opening the windows each day for fresh air and the bed was very comfortable. The location was walking distance to most everything. Antonio welcomed us and showed us a map of the city, pointing out all the restaurants and answered all our questions. We enjoyed staying here and hope to come back!

Absolutely incredible! I could talk forever about how wonderful Antonio and the B&B Quartopiano are, and it would still not be enough. My husband and I stayed here during our brief trip to Modena on our Italian honeymoon, and we both agreed that it was the beast part of our trip — we will have to come again. It was like something out of a dream. The rooms and views are charming and idyllic, but what really makes this place special is the most gracious host. Antonio will make you feel so comfortable and cared for — the best service my husband and I have ever experienced. He knows the best restaurants and spots in town — and he’s eager to share this knowledge and passion for his city with you! Antonio went to great lengths to ensure that we had a wonderful trip. I genuinely cried when we left because it felt like a dream. Thank you Antonio for providing us with an unforgettable stay in Modena!

My husband and I stayed at Quartopiano for one night last month and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the whole experience. We booked last minute and were accommodated so graciously by Alessandra and her husband, who met us late in order to check us in. He also walked us to a nearby restaurant right before close to ensure that we had a dinner -- it wound up being one of the best meals we had all week! The B&B is adorable, incredibly well-designed and maintained, and it's in a wonderful location in central Modena. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for having us!

A must stay! My friend and I we were greeted by our host, Marco, who was very accommodating and gave us recommendations and directions around the area. The location was ideal for us. It's nestled on the top floor of the apartment building and within walking distance to main attractions and great food options. The kitchen was there for us to use, supplied with beverages. The kitchen view is breathtaking and we had our own private terrace. There are only two rooms, and would be perfect for a family. Our bedroom was very chic and spacious, with lots of space to store our luggages. As well, our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our hosts, Marco and Alessandra, were very responsive. We arrived late due to our train delay, which Marco had reassured us that he will wait for us until we arrive without additional fees. We look forward to returning back!

We only stayed here a night but wish it was longer. The location was great to explore Modena by foot. This was the coziest room and bed we had on our entire trip. We loved the details and character - everything from the decorations to the lilac bed linens. Thank you Antonio for a lovely stay and delicious breakfast at your cafe!

Such a lucky and beautiful find in Modena! The B&B is so charming and well-decorated with nice details throughout. The shower was spacious and had great water pressure and temperature, the bed and linens were comfortable, the living room and kitchen were beautiful and generously stocked, and the roof terrace was perfect for relaxing on before and after dinner, and the A/C worked well in the summer heat. Centrally located yet on a quiet side street with easy parking right at the building entry. The B&B is on the top floor but easily accessible via elevator. Antonio was the perfect host- easy to reach, yet gave us privacy. He shared great tips on Modena, and even helped us make a booking for a dairy farm that we had trouble reaching. A generous breakfast is included at a proper cafe around the corner with delicious pastries and savory sandwiches and is very popular amongst locals for good reason. Would love to stay here again!

We recently booked B&B Quartopiano for one of our travelers and we really cannot say enough about this place! Antonio was absolutely fabulous to work with. He helped our guest find good, local cuisine. His B&B is in a wonderful location and was absolutely gorgeous! We look forward to booking with Antonio again!

We had a lovely couple of nights in Modena in this extremely well located teeny weeny b&b. It is very cute and stylishly done making the most use of the tiny space. On closer inspection things aren't in the best condition despite how charming. You are in the attic with little windows and there is no way to blackout the room. The somewhat open plan toilet is not for everyone but we knew what we had booked. The bed was a bit rickety. It was cold and we just couldn't get warm in there (lucky perhaps as air conditioning remote was missing). The wall to the other room was paper thin and you could hear everything. Some great things too, nice toiletries, lovely shower, great parking (for a supplement), wonderful views from the tiny windows... And 3 minute walk to Osteria Francescana. We had a nice time, but only saw someone at check-in, breakfast was down the road in a cafe (we didn't bother), we had asked for some recommendations for a drink before dinner via email and were told we would get them when we got there but that didn't happen. We felt very much left alone.
