This place is either fabulous or terrible, and there is not much in-between those extremes!
It becomes ridiculously crowded and meat market like some days, or, late on a Sunday night, in summer, it is lovely, with the sea breezes, and few people. Just enough to keep it interesting.
Or as last Sunday, when it was cool, we snuggled twixt two heaters and allowed the chill to thaw from our bones as we sipped on a wonderful passionfruit and rum concoction, delicious! I have no clue about what else was in it, as it was dark at the bar where I ordered, and I had left my reading glasses on the table, but I think there was some lime, and it was not too sweet. It was recommended by the waitress, and she was bang on.
Amusement can be found in the ladies toilets, with gaggles of well rounded young women squeezed into various skimpy pieces of "Oh MY!" preening and fixing their faces. How they did not die of hypothermia is beyond me, but I am an old fart these days, and sensible took over long ago!
