We love this place! The food was 💯amazing! We love all dishes and our favorites were the hanger steak, mussels (with extra bread), the tomato risotto and brick chicken. Wow the tastes were absolutely delicious, meat was cooked to perfect temperature, large portions and presentation were impeccable 👏 For dessert, we tried the cheese ice cream and the brown sugar banana ice cream - wow again, so good! 😊 You can see there is so much attention to details here - dancey music, pretty arts & decorations and 5-star service (Estefania was our server and she recommended all of our favorites). We hope more people come here and try the food as it truly is one of the best restaurants in MA!

Google
Was surprised with the limited menu, but that faded fast as we ordered various food to sample. Wow, just really good. Food, drinks, service just awesome 👌. My wife said she would come back just for the garlic soup, which reminded me of a Spanish style comfort soup from Catalonia.

Google
We had a great lunch experience. The bartender was patient enough for us to find the right wine that we loved. The salad was very fresh and yummy. I especially liked lemon slivers on the salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was addictive.

Google
This is an upscale restaurant. Came here at about 4 PM on a Saturday. Everything was delicious. They took extra care in preparation on everything from filling the beers to the preparation of the leftovers in a plastic box. Yes, I noticed the chairs aligned at the bar. I wish this place was closer so I could visit more often. My experience here was wonderful

Google
We were in town just for the night and had the absolute BEST food, perfect service from an amazing server, and left heartbroken this restaurant is 12 hours away from our home! Do NOT sleep on the flatiron steak. Truly amazing!

Restaurant with Modern Latin Cuisine which translates to delicious @chefalexpineda & @noeortega10 know how to bring a unique experience to Beverly, Massachusetts. It was a great dinner when you turn to strangers at the next table to swoon over the dining experience. This Thanksgiving, we chose to join chefs Lydia Shire and Alex Pineda for their special three-course feast celebrating the holiday as two empty nesters. What a great decision. They offered a very affordable option to cooking your own meal. I enjoyed the traditional thanksgiving feast (with a nod to Lydia). Her stuffing and cranberry is like no other. An amazing butternut squash soup was the starter. This was a first for me the preparation and unique flavors were great as a fall appetizer. The grand finale was a pumpkin tarimisu desert - again like nothing I have ever tasted. Sorry no photos. Run don't walk to this amazing restaurant.

Such a great experience. The wait staff were kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. It is very a very attractive restaurant with a very welcoming vibe! You will really like it…maybe even love it! Definitely try it!

Bravo Que Mas! 👏🏼 What a wonderful experience I had this past Valentine’s day here with my beautiful significant other. The food, the flavors, the service, the atmosphere, everything about this place was refreshing, modern yet familiar, the staff was incredible and the food was to die for. We had the Grilled Sweet Platano and Croquette de hamon y queso to start! 10/10! The Bavette Steak for main course which was delicious, highlight of the dish for me was mole and fried zucchini blossom. 10/10! The cocktails were also delicious, especially Uriel’s Colombian Sunset! 🌅 The Chefs run an excellent operation here, when I heard the staff clap at the of the night and celebrate another successful day it made it clear that everyone takes pride in what they do here. I will definitely be coming here again, can’t wait to see what the patio is like once the weather gets warmer. Chefs Alex and Noe have created an incredible experience at Que Mas, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
Yet again, and I find myself returning to this place, and yet again, I am very pleased that I did. I ordered a corn pasta, I'm forgetting what the menu title was, and it absolutely blew me away. It was perfectly seasoned perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. It arrived from the kitchen pretty quickly, and it seemed that no detail was forgotten. As always, the service was great and the ambience was great. We had one small hiccup in our evening, which was the drink that my friend had ordered, contained not one, but two flies, and we are not sure how that happened - - whether it was at the table or whether it was from the kitchen, or the lime, or what. We notified the staff and they came right over with a new drink, perfectly prepared with no flies. Based on the way, they handled this interaction, I feel totally fine, returning here, and given there was absolutely nothing wrong with the rest of the meal. I still feel confident in recommending this place.

Yelp
The vibe is one of loving food, loving coworkers and wanting to share this love! Had dinner last night, 6 of us total. Apps, beers, meals, sides, desserts, and we all tried each others foods. What a treat. Definitely will come monthly to enjoy for date night or with friends. Very special food, worth celebrating. High quality experience, great atmosphere: cool and upscale but unpretentious. Gigi was our water, and despite being her 3rd day on the job, she was excellent. Clearly a keeper. McKenzie was still training her and we appreciated his sarcasm. We will ask for Gigi next time we come. Bianca is front of house, and seems to keep all in line. She is organized and runs things. We were dining with a former favorite teacher of hers, but she is really engaged with all. You can see what we got in the pics below: Ceasar salad with shrimp, other salad with shrimp, brick chicken, pork schnitzel, lobster stew and salmon. Apps/sides included tempura green beans, grilled asparagus, fries with cheese and plantains. Chicken and pork portions were especially large and needed to go bags. For dessert the passion fruit sorbet and chocolate graham cracker banana foster ice cream were chosen with 6 spoons. The banana foster ice cream was unusual and to die for, sorbet was great too. Meeting Alex and having him answer many questions we had, was a highlight. While talking with him, he told us how great different staff were, and we could see that not only does he know everyone - many have been with him for up to 20 years in other restaurants - his staff also really enjoy working for him. This must contribute to the energy here. Nice atmosphere of course, but the vibe is one of loving food, loving coworkers and wanting to share this love! We opted for a 4:30 reservation, so we're alone for the beginning of our dinner. If the time you want isn't on resy, call them. They will always try to accommodate. There is a nice area that can accommodate a small group - maybe up to 16 or 20 - in the back corner. The outside is also really nice when weather permits. There will be some nice options in the future. Family nights where kids under a certain age eat free, and fixed price meals. Can't wait for that! That will be a big hit in Beverly I think. We also had ideas for specific events and Alex was open to that. So def check it out. I was sad for Frank's to leave. It's nice to have another high quality option.

Yelp
Two times in two weeks! Why didn't I get here sooner? Amazing food coming out of this joint in Beverly MA. Chef owned and operated, some of the most authentic Latin cuisine on the north shore with friendly knowledgeable staff in a colorful industrial setting. Price point is excellent for the quality of the food received. Brava Que Mas! You've become my favorite restaurant.

Ed Z.

Yelp
We've dined here previously so when we realized we didn't have Thanksgiving plans and saw they were offering a 3-course prix fixe special menu we thought we'd give it a try. Best. Decision. Ever. My meal started with a fantastic twist on a classic Cesar salad -- traditional enough to please purists but with added grilled broccoli that added crunch and flavor. I went with the turkey dinner (turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed onions, stuffing, cranberry sauce) that was just like home -- if me and my family members were creative and accomplished chefs. Topped off with a slice of pecan pie that was also exceptional, and needed to come home with me for later as I was already full. Nancy had the curried mussels to start, the flat iron steak, and the pumpkin tiramisu and I can personally attest to the excellence of each it. The service was outstanding and the chef, Alex Padena, came around to our table before and after our meal, as did his celebrity-chef mother Lydia Shire who had helped with a couple of her own items on the menu. Overall and excellent meal. And if this becomes an annual event, we'll see you there next Thanksgiving.

Peyton F.

Yelp
I was super impressed with the service here!! Bri served us and we got all of our food/drinks timely as well as some special touches (fresh utensils between courses and a very clean table throughout the meal). I'm a former fine dining server and can be a bit picky about service, but she nailed it. Food was also good. I got the arugula salad and the Autumn in New England fall cocktail was delightful and well balanced. I am excited to come back and try the swordfish!!

Yelp
I love this place, favorite dinner place in Beverly! Authentic latin food with incredible flavor and great value for the price. The decor and interior vibe seem very deliberate, we love sitting anywhere because it feels spacious even when it's very busy. The bar is very well stocked and I adore the bar manager. All the staff are so friendly and personable. My favorite cocktail right now is the Dad's joke (which is corny) and the mocktails are also delightful. The menu rotates seasonally and always impresses. Definitely check this place out and try the ice creams. Great for vegetarians like me, and my friend who got the burger loved it.

Yelp
Que Mas is a great addition to downtown Beverly! If you haven't checked it out, it's has to be on your short list of restaurants to try. Great food, great drinks, great vibe! What we ate: - Ceviche de Peru: Super fresh and served with taro chips - Miso Salmon: This dish was amazing!! The purple yam, sautéed baby kale and miso all pair amazingly well together. - Special: Fish & Chips. Large portion of perfectly fried fish, which was light at the same time. Great fries as well. We had a creative cocktail that was similar to a pisco sour but with an added strawberry twist.

Yelp
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER THE BRICK CHICKEN. I never ever in a million years thought I would recommend a chicken dish, but this is quite literally the best chicken I have ever had in my life!!!! It came out PIPING hot which is just how I like it, and it was the perfect amount of tender and crispy. Truthfully, my husband ordered it for himself but I am pretty sure I ended up eating half of his meal because it was so good. Sadly I am not a local and can't eat this all the time, so please order it so I may live vicariously through you. Service was great, we felt very taken care of.

Yelp
Lunch on a windy March afternoon. We were warmly welcomed. Server was knowledgable and offered alternatives to today's menus. I had the cod sandwich, lightly battered, served on a brioche bun with lettuce and cornichons with an aioli sauce on the side. My wife had the Tijuana Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. She found the shrimp to be perfectly cooked, tender and moist. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Overall 5 stars for food, service, and ambiance. Will return very soon

Marty A.

Yelp
In the beginning the service was a bit off. After a few words with manager, they took care of all issues and were quite nice with the tab. A great place, good food , and after a few issues they were awesome. We will be back.

Yelp
Went here for a date night and the ambiance was nice (need to go back to try the bottle shop they share the front space with)- we had an appetizer, a to share and entree. Great amount of food for 2! The only real miss was that the tamale served with our entree was fresh but quite dry. We also tried the cheese ice cream for desert- a unique savory and sweet experience that I'd definitely have again!

Kim G.

Yelp
We visited Que Mas before attending a show at the North Shore music theater. The food was delicious and unique. We especially loved the fried green bean appetizer.
google avatar

Yelp
The Food A plus plus!!! The service beyond great. The desserts are to literally crave and dream about!! The drinks sublime! Finally a new type of restaurant for us foodies!!! I've been 3 times in a week. I just can't get enough. The flavors and presentations are of New York City quality!!! Bravo guys you have a winner on your hands
google avatar

Chau L.

Yelp
First off, the customer service and staff here are absolutely amazing! Very friendly, polite and out going. The food and presentation are fantastic! Every dish is full of flavor. The decor/interior is so unique and nice! Touch of modern upscale. My favorite dish was the street corn arepa. Who ever knew that arepa and burrata are so perfect together. The Alex's beet salad was so good too. The whipped ricotta stole the show. The fried pork chuleta is the size of a titanic ! Very crispy, seasoned to perfection and the white rice is so delicious! You MUST TRY the Chocolate Tres Leche! It's amazing. Overall, the service and food are 5 stars. Lots of credit to Chef Alex. Definitely will be back
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
Pretty good!! Food was great, service was amazing!!! Not my vibe though...A Little too Casual for me...but it was nice for a rainy night
google avatar

Jeannette M.

Yelp
Perfect for a date night. Took pictures of nothing. Ate everything! The ceviche was delicious as was the Bavette Steak. Our server, Estefania, was attentive, kind, and funny.
google avatar

Maria H.

Yelp
What an absolute gem! From the minute you walk in you're greeted by friendly staff, beautiful table settings and best of all an eclectic array of art everywhere you look. There's an interesting display of different brand sardines cans, fishing baskets combined with modern designs. Most to which belonged or was created by the owner Alex. We had stopped by for a quick drink and an appetizer. We ordered the mussels in coconut sauce. It was to die for! Will definitely return to try their other dishes! Based on the other dishes I saw and the satisfied looks in everyone's face with their meals, I'd say it's a must to return. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing service and AMAZING food. The design of the place and the interior deco and outdoor patio were very inviting, even down to the plates and silverware. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Yelp
Lunch on a Saturday in March. Service was attentive and we were warmly welcomed. I had the Cod Sandwich, lightly battered and fried. it was moist, tender, and delicious. My wife had the Tijuana Cesar with grilled shrimp which were perfectly cooked. Overall: Excelent service, food beautifully presented and delicious. Look forward to returning very soon.

Yelp
Beautiful! Stunning restaurant with artful elegance. Amazing staff and very well priced to proportion plates. Each corner, each dish, a story to tell. The young and fearless owner-Chefs have poured nothing but sweat, vision, creativity and inspired palate into every detail, every corner and every bite. You will not be disappointed even if you are skeptical by a petite and focused menu. And by all means, DO NOT get your heart set on anything here I am drooling about - because they will play with the seasons, the local, the fresh and the flavors of their native lands (and anything in between goes!). If you are expecting the flavors of the "Caribe" or Mex/TexMex... and that is what you are craving - go somewhere else. Because this is a place to learn about other Latin Cuisines that are part of the fiber of what makes us Latinos (his riff on my beloved sweet plantain was a simplistic stroke of GENIOUS! Normally a breakfast side item in my home, they turned it into a perfect bite with a guac sauce and crispy HOME MADE onions. Amuse Bouche teaser!). I'm a huge dynamic duo Chefs Alex and Noe fan. Ever ever since I samples their food at the Martha's Vineyard food and Wine festival. But there is a back story to that... Vineyard Haven, couple of years ago - fresh off an 11 day eating and wine fest of my own in the Basque region of Spain, ending at the Michelin Star at Marques de Riscal. 8 lbs wider, I had signed up for this event in the Islandurious hotel Harbor View Hotel. Having shelled out MORE MONEY for the Martha's Vineyard Event than I did at a 1 star Michellin, I jokingly asked this gorgeous young Chef if he was up to the task (I had just watched his Chopped episode and read his bio). He gave me a warm hug, a smile to kill (this gorgeous little spunky and totally down to earth human with more talent that his thin and strong body can house!) and said "mamacita, I cook with love. I will do it BETTER. HA! I thought, bring it. 10 courses and 10 pairings by Zan who is now at Que Mas with him, and I almost went to my maker after all that AMAZING, BLOW YOUR SOCKS OFF meal (I've blogged it before). Then Noe came out of the kitchen and I'm thinking to myself "I HAVE SONS OLDER THAN THESE TWO AND THEY DARE SERVE FOOD LIKE THIS?! SHAMELESS! I LOVE THEM!). One could say I'm a groupie! I have since been to each one of the festivals he has done, and drove through traffice from Hudson to Beverly 1.5 hours just to eat his food again! (I had been to the Landing in Marblehead once, but they had just left for other ventures. Boo HISS!). Worth the sciatica and the traffic! Creative yet comfort food loaded with love and passion. Central and South American cuisine with a hint of "chefy" yet unpretentiously relatable. Their burrata ravioli with chicharrón is playful, perfectly executed and flavorful (fried pork makes any dish sing!). The bavette steak and creamy, dreamy polenta is one of the most sought after dish for a reason. OMG! The thick and garlic infested coconut curry bathing perfectly poached mussels?! Shut.The. Front. Door! I could use that to pour over my body for a soak and lick myself clean - it is so sensual, decadent and yet RELATABLE! And that bread?! Yea, we went there. The lamb chop special of the evening ware 2 lamb chops Flintstones size! With ethereal whipped mashed... I am a croqueta monster, and his delicate little crispy and creamy baccalao bolitas are what the doctor ordered. Dessert? Ok, last year October, Harbor View, exhausted and sitting in the lobby waiting to head over to their snob with the press, Noe and Alex sat with me for a bit. I was still in a food coma when we talked FLAN. Now I know a lot of you poor souls have only have sub-par flan. Sub human. That goya brand in the aluminum cup maybe. You poor things. I've been making flan since I could reach a stove. NO WAY NOE can YOUR flan be equal or better to my grannys, mom in laws or mine. NO WAY NOE. On this visit, I was SO STUFFED I didn't order dessert. But it was my birthday, and Noe sent me home with flan. I publicly stand corrected. I will eat your flan in a van, I will eat your flan from the pan. I will eat your flan here and there, I will eat that flan ANYWHERE! The restaurant is gorgeous and commands a cult following with their vibrant atmosphere and sexy bar. I'm so proud of this pair of overly talented yet down-to-earth Chefs! You've come a long way since your Chopped competition Chef Alex! You make your mama Chef Shire look better than ever! And Noe? Seriously Chef! Aren't you ashamed of yourself? How DARE you serve food that can outshine "older" Chefs? La sazòn y el sabor these two deliver will linger. Get yer butt there! I drove 1.5 hours from Hudson for their food, you may be around the corner! (If you go to Salem for October Witch hunting, Que Mas is a stone throw away!). Take in gentrified Beverly, bask at the trendy elegance of the decor, get yourself comfortable and let it rip!!!

Yelp
The service from Briana at the bar was excellent. The food was very good. Overall we had a very good experience and will definitely be back.

Yelp
The food was great. We got an app and two que mas burgers! I asked for mine without the egg and they were able to accommodate my request with no issue. Their pork belly is amazing. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive. We went Valentine's Day night and the ambiance was perfect. I really liked it and will be coming back.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had an amazing dinner at Que Mas last night. Our server was great and the food was unique and delicious. I got the El Diablo Margarita, it was the perfect amount of spicy and sweet and a beautiful presentation. We had the Sweet Corn Arepa for our appetizer. This is a must-try, one of the best appetizers I've had in a while. I got the swordfish for my entree and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked fish and I loved all the sides it came with. My fiancé got the Bavette Steak and I sampled it, it was really good. It came with the tamale and stuffed zucchini blossom plus 2 different mole sauces. Really unexpected combination of flavors that worked so well together. We loved the chocolate tres leches cake for dessert. We can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Johnny T.

Yelp
Had a chance to try this place for a family member's promotion, restaurant has a good amount of space and great ambiance with some cool interesting art pieces. Service was amazing from start to finish as both our servers were attentive, personable, and friendly! For the food, we deciding to go with family style and share all our dishes. All the appetizers were not too heavy, great starters to our entrees, with standouts being street corn arepa, tempura fried shishito peppers, and mussels. On to our main dishes which had perfect cooks, the pork chuleta was crispy but still moist, brick chicken with crispy delicious skin while still being perfectly moist, and miso salmon was cooked perfectly medium. All were absolutely delicious and we would order again. Finally dessert... the chocolate tres leche cake was to die for! Highly recommended if it's in your wheelhouse

Yelp
Our first time at Que Mas will not be our last! Our server Josh was so friendly and personable, and the food was delicious. We had the yuca fries with cheese and street corn to start. The yuca was good, but the street corn was incredible! There were four of us, and the two starters were perfect portion-wise. For mains, my wife had the clean option salmon, while I had the bavette steak -- both dishes and the accompanying sides were cooked nicely and full of flavor. The little cheese tamale that came with my steak - I could eat a bucket of those. Our friends were equally pleased with their brick chicken and swordfish. We tried to finish the evening with the chocolate tres leches and a brown butter (I think) ice cream desert with bananas. Like everything else we tasted, the deserts were fantastic - particularly that tres leches. We were just too full! Josh was the kind of server you wish could just join you at your table so you can get to know him. He was genuine, and kind enough to share the brunch menu with us. We're grateful to Josh and the rest of the staff at Que Mas for helping us have a wonderful evening full good food and company. We're already plotting our next visit. Almost forgot, the cheapo margaritas were some of the best I've had. No crazy oversized glass I could keep my dog in, no messy salt or sugar rim, just a clean, perfect drink with the right amounts of sweet, sour, and kick. Good stuff...

Yelp
Beverly is not cool enough to deserve a place like Que Mas. I say a prayer every night and thank god that this restaurant has landed in this vanilla town. The chuleta- GTFO! It's amazing and a huge serving. Caesar salad - comes with actual anchovies! Finally! The cheese ice cream - not a typo. Folks , we are sooooooo f***g blessed. And the interior is stunning. I always sit at the bar and eat and leave with a bottle of rum from the attached Bottle Shop/ Deville. The el Diablo !

John B.

Yelp
Excellent food, great service and a fun vibe! Very easy to park with a MBTA garage located directly behind the restaurant.

Esmeralda B.

Yelp
What a wonderful brunch experience. Unique and beautiful ambiance; friendly staff; and of course, DELICIOUS food! We were pleasantly surprised. Even the coffee was such a bold, strong, yummy flavor - unlike the watery tasteless coffee that is typically served in diners. We will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.
google avatar

Laurel K.

Yelp
fabulous service - Utku took very good care of us... appreciated a tableside visit by one of the head chefs... a truly memorable meal!

Dan M.

Yelp
Awesome experience. Food was exceptional. The table split pretty much everything so we could try different dishes: ceviche, grilled plantains, mussels, bavette steak, Caesar, and corn raviolis. Mussels in particular were great; the best mussel dish I've had in a long time. Drinks were really good too, particularly loved the twist on a Corpse Reviver with pisco. I saw a three star review on here that said food and service were great but it just "wasn't her vibe"... what a ridiculous thing to do. I can't imagine knocking a place down for no reason other than some odd whim of personal preference. Que Mas is inventive and fun and most importantly delicious.
google avatar

Rob A.

Yelp
What an amazing place. Ambiance was unbelievable. We had Olivia as we sat at the bar. She knew everything about the drinks and wine and had great recommendations. We had the Korean short ribs for an app and they were great. Had the brick chicken and bravette steak? For entrees, both were amazing. Flan and butternut martini for dessert again recommended by Olivia, both were fantastic. Couldn't say enough good things about this place and we only stopped in because nothing else was open on a Monday night
google avatar

Gina C.

Yelp
Food, ambiance, cocktails and service all first class. We liked Frank's but Que Mas is so much better. Great wine store attached to the restaurant.
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner at Que Mas last night. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service was impeccable, and the food was exceptional. I had the beet salad followed by the vegetarian risotto of the day, and I can honestly say it was the best meal I have had in a very long time. Kudos to Que Mas! We will be back soon.
google avatar

Caleb B.

Yelp
Food was excellent! My first bite brought me back in time to being a kid growing up in LA (kind of like that scene in Ratatouille) Service was also very good - my wife has a gluten allergy and the staff was knowledgeable, welcomed questions, and made sure her food was safe. The kitchen also made sure it had an "allergy" notice with the plate. Great vibe inside as well - felt like a place we could sit and eat a meal, or get a drink and some apps. Can't wait to come back!

Kristin K.

Yelp
We made a last minute reservation here for my husband's birthday after leaving another restaurant where we were seated at the bar, despite the birthday reservation made well in advance. Needless to say, we were not in a good mood when we arrived, and the staff at Que Mas entirely turned our night around. Everyone was polite and professional, the music was cheerful, and the food and drinks were exceptional. I thought the night was going to go poorly, despite my advance planning. Thanks to everyone at the restaurant for making the birthday special! I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back.
google avatar

Jen F.

Yelp
Food and service were a 10/10! Can't wait to return and try more menu items. For reference, we ordered the yuca fries, arepa, brick chicken, and pasta with pesto oil.

Erika B.

Yelp
Four of us for dinner, all of us had an amazing meal/experience. Mine: rosemary and beet cocktail (delish if you like beets), cod ceviche, duck two ways (beautifully cooked at a perfect medium rare and a SUBLIME duck foi gras tortellini), and cheese ice cream that is one of the most unique and tasty ice creams I've ever tasted. So good. And the ambience (at the former FRANK restaurant on Rantoul) is pretty and upbeat. A really special place. So good!

Katharine L.

Yelp
Food was amazing. So tasty and fresh! Menu is different from any others nearby. Service was excellent. Decor is very industrial. The fast food ambiance doesn't match the warmth and elegance of the food and service.

Pam S.

Yelp
We heard about a new restaurant in Beverly and stopped tonight for dinner. The food from appetizers to desserts was exquisite and the service was amazing! Diana, our server, was impeccably trained, informative and friendly but not intrusive. Chef Alex came out to chat and made us feel so welcome. The decor is unique -- our favorite piece of art was the sardine can display! It was a pleasure having an amazing dinner in a beautiful setting where you can actually hear. Welcome to Beverly Que Mas and thanks for an unforgettable evening.

Peter M.

Yelp
Awesome. WOW. What a wonderful restaurant. This is our second time to Que Mas and it will not be our last. We were greeted by Natalie, who made us feel welcome. We immediately felt right at home. The food was terrific. We indulged with Alex's beet salad coupled with the cheesy garlic bread and followed with the Cotechino and Romanesco. An absolute treat. We strongly recommend trying these entrees. The service was on point by Vei and Josh. They are very engaging mixologist and mix a great drink. We enjoy sitting at the bar and both Vei and Josh engaged in joyful conversation, along with helping us navigate the menu. We are very familiar with the restaurant scene in and around the North Shore and we highly recommend you eat at Que Mas. You will understand why we like them so much. Pete & Deana

Ryan P.

Yelp
Great food, very nice restaurant on the inside, and great service. Had some mocktails, a caesar salad, the shishito peppers, and the swordfish. Good stuff!

Timothy M.

Yelp
Service was quick, bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was vibrant and well designed. The star of the show were the mussels appetizer with perfectly grilled garlic bread. The pork chuleta was well seasoned and super juicy. Can't wait to go back to try some of their desserts !

Melissa P.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Unique and delicious food and drink menu. Went for a group dinner and am so glad I did - because we were able to try and share so many different dishes. Must try: sweet corn arepa (woke up thinking about it!), brick chicken and swordfish al pastor. This new place is worth checking out - not what you traditionally find in the area and is a fresh change from the norm.

Yelp
We popped in last night and dined at Que Mas for the first time and believe me when I tell you it did not disappoint. The food was so flavorful and aromatic. The ambiance was cool and sexy with amazing Latin music. We got a few appetizers like the cheese puffs and the sweet corn arepa which I wish I had more of right now! The brick chicken is my new favorite dinner. And the service, the service was just amazing. Chef Noe came out to greet us and was super humble and nice. But the cherry on top was our server, Bianca, she was so attentive and kind and cared about our experience. Can't wait to visit again and bring some family and friends. This restaurant is a God send to our baked haddock and prime rib area! Don't hesitate to visit, you'll be glad you did.

Yelp
The food at Que mas is excellent, top to bottom. The ceviche was so tasty, and the brick chicken is my new favorite meal. Portions are good, preparation and flavors just so amazing! Try to save room for the amazing dessert! Such a nice addition to Beverly.

Yelp
Just tried Que Mas for the first time. A welcome addition to the Beverly dining scene. The outdoor setting and welcoming atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable. Victoria or waitress guided our dining experience with ease. The Cheese ice cream evades explanation in a good way and is highly recommended. Chef Alex has created a winning menu here.

Yelp
Amazing drinks, food and service. Be sure to try one of the specialty drinks. The food was creative and delicious. We enjoyed the cheese puffs (made with salted cod), the arugula salad, corn soup and salmon. The cheesecake was to die for. Chef Alex Pineda, featured on Chopped, has created an interesting menu that was perfectly executed.

Yelp
The outdoor patio is lovely, and the front of house staff is very welcoming. The Chef/Owner Alex came over to personally welcome us to the restaurant which was very nice. The salt cod cheese puffs are so delicious and interesting so be sure to try those. The drink menu has very creative options and I tried the hibiscus cocktail which was refreshing and not overly sweet. I had the burrata ravioli with the pork belly and wanted to lick the plate. Our waitress Victoria had a solid knowledge of everything on the menu and was instrumental in suggesting that we try the Chef's signature cheese ice cream. Just take her word for it and try it!

Yelp
Wow! What an awesome find this is! We read a great review in The Globe and decided to check it out. Fantastic experience!! Our group was greeted very warmly. Room is airy and beautiful. They also have outdoor space where we sat as it was a gorgeous night. Everyone was so friendly - always a pleasant surprise. At some places the staff feel like they are just punching a clock. Not here! A young bubbly woman who I think is named V took our order. She is a very talented bartender and made several delicious drinks including one with fresh squeezed watermelon and good tequila. I could have had 10 of them! The waitress Victoria was also excellent and super friendly. There were 5 of us so we had a variety of apps, salads, fish entrees and desserts. Each one was truly delicious and each one was different and made with such flair. I heard the chef owner was the chef at Scampo and you can tell because he really knows how to make great ingredients sing! It was an awesome night out and we will be back soon. Great to have such a high quality but casual place in the area.
