It’s peaceful , making it a great place to stay for both leisure and business. I hope someday that there will be easy access metro station improving transportation options or nearby amenities would make it even more convenient for guests rather than taking taxi. The atmosphere at Queen Elizabeth 2 is elegant and distinctive, with a calm, nostalgic charm that sets it apart from typical hotels. The maritime heritage creates a truly unique and memorable experience. Our company team enjoyed the visit, however during the dinner buffet, I was expecting to find a beef steak option, which was not available. I am not quite sure why, but it would be great to include a beef steak always to have option and to enhance the menu variety. The food quality was good overall. Thank you for great experience.

It’s a great experience and an interesting hotel. I love the fact that it’s an old CRUISE SHIP with so much of history and today this has been repurposed and it’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy the cruise life without the craziness of the deep sea. The breakfast is very nice so lots of options and it’s very tasty. Views from the ship decks are nice. Right now there’s lots of construction going on around the hotel, but I guess soon it will be even more beautiful than it’s already is. The staff are great and always helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and I do think we have to experience it at least once.

We booked for afternoon tea, followed by the heritage tour. The whole experience was lovely. The staff on arrival to the ship were very helpful, making sure we got to where we needed to be. Afternoon tea was served in the Queens grill, which was a beautiful restaurant. The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome, they helped to make a special occasion even more special with a birthday cake at the end! | The heritage tour was with Megan, who was very friendly, knowledge, and obviously had a Passion for the QE2 and it's restoration. She was able to answer any questions thrown her way. The tour lasted approximately an hour and a half and you were encouraged to explore more on the ship after the tour ended if you wished. | I would highly recommend a visit to the QE2.

The ship is beautiful despite it needing some work to improve the outside and inside. Starting with the external, the top deck and the hull of the ship need some work. It’s clear that overtime since the refurbishment the ship has started to decline and the lack of outside space to sit and chill in the sun is a real let down. Our room was fine, clean to a level but it lacked space to store clothes and felt a little claustrophobic, our fault really should have opted for a room with a balcony. Facilities are hit and miss. The food is excellent, we enjoyed every meal and the option for a roast dinner with gravy is a winner for me. The service in the restaurant isn’t very good in that they don’t really offer drinks or replace the water on the table enough. I do have to say that the ladies who greet you are lovely but the waiting staff a bar staff really need to improve. We stayed over new year and I was quite shocked that there was a lack of anything really going on. For the whole week we never saw any of the bars manned or open with a lack of outdoor options this made it difficult to find anything to do. The ship is iconic and I’m glad I stayed there but just feel like it could be so much more. A revamp, improved outdoor space and good service would make this an ideal place to stay given the location. If you want good food and a comfortable stay and don’t mind average customer service then give this place a try. Like I said I enjoyed my stay

QE2 is truly a 5-star experience in every way. From the moment you arrive, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail are outstanding. The rooms are luxurious, the restaurants are top quality, and the entire hotel feels vibrant and full of life. The swimming , pools, and facilities are perfect for families and couples alike. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional specially mr dipesh from Housekeeping Every corner of the hotel is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere is unforgettable. If you want a perfect getaway with world-class service and endless activities, QE2 is absolutely the place to be. Highly recommended! Rooms: 5/5 | Service

Lovely guide and very helpful staff. We arrived late and all staff were very helpful to assist us.||They arranged a private tour with Megan (?spelling). She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her job and answered all our questions, taking time to explain everything in great detail. We greatly enjoyed her tour. ||Really enjoyed the visit.

The QE2 is a super interesting hotel to stay in and truly special to feel a part of history. We stayed in a standard room which was compact but had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We went half board and unfortunately there was not a lot of food options for myself as a vegan, although I did always have enough to eat. Proximity to old town Dubai and the metro and bus station was only a 10 minute walk.

The good. Entertainment was great: The Candlelight Christmas concert was superb, and the Quiz & Bingo night at the Golden Lion was a lot of fun! The room was spacious and comfortable. The history of the vessel is obviously also really interesting. Parking is free and very close to the entrance. The average: for such an historic vessel, I like how the interior has been kept relatively the same, sometimes felt like a museum, which for history buffs was great. The upkeep could be better, though. Just basic cosmetic improvements inside and out would make a big difference. Most of the staff was friendly, however, they seemed insufficiently trained. The bad: check-in was an absolute nightmare. It appeared to take 25-30 minutes to check in each person, and there was a lot of confusion on the part of staff and guests alike. What was of serious concern was that due to a WiFi outage, access cards could not be assigned, which means each guest had to wait for 1 of the 3 people on board who had a master key to manually open each door. We then had to leave our door unlocked for the night while we were out which is obviously a major security concern. Breakfast was shambolic, the restaurant was dirty, there was a very disappointing choice of food and the quality was well short of a 4-star hotel. 2-star at best. I would like to stay again, but would do so reluctantly.
