Queen Elizabeth National Park

Maybe we were not in the right season, but we were not amazed by the park. Doing the self drive - especially during rainy season - can be quite challenging. The rangers don’t really give you tips and besides, the roads are terrible. They don’t maintain the roads. We had a 4x4 and had already done a couple of challenging roads but we still got stucked. There are no giraffes nor zebras in this park. We did saw 1 lion, many elephants and antelope.

Amazing experience where you get to see every kind of animal. Both in savana and in jungle / river environment.

I had a great experience at the park though I didn't see many animal species as I expected. Seeing lions was hard and we ended up going to Ishasha park where I saw about 4 of them and this saved the day, I didn't see leopards. Elephants were many and huge especially on the kazinga channel side. Ticket processing was fast compared to murchison where we spent an hour registering. I would recommend anyone wishing to go there to buy the tickets in advance as well to save time and have a great game drive since the park is very big

Beautiful place, On a good day you will be able to find Lions. So refreshing. I highly recommend that you go and visit.

It was awesome with the best sightings of some of the big 5, amazing boat cruise and beautiful scenaries.
