Great place and a good variety of different kinds of plants, insects and birds. There are walkable paths, and it’s also possible to ride vehicles for a fee (we were on a motorbike). The canopy walks require you to save the entry ticket, so be prepared; also, it’s best to go there with a small binoculars and in the early morning time to see the birds. Unfortunately, some of the places like herbarium and pill millipede walk are being renovated right now, and the ticket desk does not warn customers about that.

Beautiful botanical garden 🪴 with a variety of plants. 🌱 some rare ones too. 👍 The canopy walk is fun with a great view of the mountains 🏔️.. and then you could visit the Green houses each with its own biome and temp control to mimic nature - cacti arid zone, rainforest, lotus and water lilies, and many more (I can’t reliever the names 😆) So pretty and well maintained 👍. To finish it off, I bought a few plants. Quite affordable prices. One thing to note is that they charge 150 baht for foreigners 😔 But overall, it’s a great place to visit and enjoy a few hours immersed in nature. 😊

A day well spent there to learn about plants and trees. It's suitable for families and kids. Entrance fees is THB 150 per pax for foreigners. Though it was sunny on that day, the air was cool when you were in shade. It's so enjoyable to visit different plant houses especially the big cactus. Restaurant at the plant house offers a simple food.

This was my second visit to QSBG. It was still a paradise for plant enthusiasts. However, there were some management issues. First, the biggest greenhouse was under renovation so it was closed, but the staff didn't inform me about this when I bought the ticket at the entrance. This was not mentioned on the QSBG website neither. Second, the staff at the two souvenir shops gave me very different attitudes. Near the Canopy Walk, the staff was very helpful in explaining the shirt sizes and looking for the sizes I needed. Up the hill, the staff gave me a direct "No" when I asked if a certain size was available. She even didn't pretend to check the piled and packed shirts for 10 seconds and then turned to chit chat with other staff. I hope that the QSBG authority can attend to these issues.

Lovely botanical gardens, well priced for the experience. The canopy walk gives an amazing view of the jungle and the separate conservatories offer an excellent perspective on a wide range of plants such as waterlilies and succulents. We didn’t get to the Science Museum sadly, but this is also included in the entrance fee. There are eateries there and I believe a shuttle bus to get to the different locations as the gardens are huge. I would recommend this for a day out!

Great place 40 mins outside of central Chiang Mai in the mountains. Tree top walkway through forested hills with lovely views. There are many interesting plants in a series of green houses. Food and drinks are available. Allow 2 hours plus and best with a car or tour bus.

Better with good weather. Consider at least half a day, if you want to visit correctly. Beautiful place but more maintenance required. Enjoy!
