All the Mall Food Smells, Ranked | Eater

"A busy, transit-accessible shopping mall in Queens, New York, the food court felt lively during the holiday season and about a third full at noon; anchors and seasonal attractions like a large department store and Santa photos brought steady foot traffic. The court offers a wide, changing mix of vendors—from conveyor-belt sushi to Asian buns, vegan options, baked cheese tarts and Burmese food—so the overall impression is of a center that serves the borough’s diversity rather than a single, nostalgic suburban template. It can produce sensory overload (layers of lotion, spice, grease and baked-sugar aromas) and lacks some classic mall staples from past eras, but it also creates new, localized nostalgic possibilities for future generations." - Jaya Saxena

Union Organizing in the Fast-Food Industry Is an Uphill Battle | Eater

"A large Queens shopping mall with a basement-level food court that hosts multiple national quick-service restaurants experienced significant flooding during Hurricane Ida, forcing food-court outlets to close for more than a week and triggering worker protests over lost wages. The mall’s entrance became the staging ground for organizers and fast-food employees who gathered to demand compensation and highlight chronic sector issues—understaffing, reduced hours, and health and safety concerns—and the visible protest drew union support and public attention to broader efforts to organize fast-food workers in the city." - Lela Nargi

Queen Center Mall is a great place to shop! Parking is easy, and I love coming here to pick up some jeans. The shopping experience is always convenient and enjoyable!

Google
This store has a great selection of trendy clothes at reasonable prices. The staff was helpful without being pushy, and the quality of the items exceeded my expectations. I found exactly what I was looking for and more.

Google
Queens Center mall has been one of my favorite malls for ages! I love Macy’s but they often over pack their racks of clothing and then you can’t put things back neatly and you find items thrown across or on the floor. Aside from that, I love that they continue to bring in newer stores like Windsor and Primark and push out stores that are no longer relevant for their spaces. I remember before they renovated the mall, I enjoyed it but the renovation really made a big improvement and expanded it allowing it to grow. The lighting is better, there are great shops and some favorite food options, like Shake Shack. This has always been a great place to shop and I’m glad they continue to improve it. There’s always more than can be done, brighter parking lots, cleaner spaces, but it’s a great place in Queens to get shopping done.

I can't believe ive never been to this mall before. 1st it has 3 levels of shopping with large selection of stores and shops. Mall has great accessibility via public transportation or by car with the LIE close by.Q88 bus drops you off right in front or R train at woodhaven blvd just few blocks away. Mall has two entrances located at 92nd ST. You'll find several levels of paid parking 3-5 per hour or you can try your luck with street parking. Bathrooms and walkway were clean with visible security. A surprisingly big food court just below street level. Popular stores like Macy's,Burlington & primark are here. You'll have access to dining aswell with a cheesecake factory on the 1st level and more directly across the street. There's even places for you to sit and charge your phone. You can even get a massage before or after you shop. If you're craving a treat there's cinnamon, haagen daz, jamba juice and more. As you exit you'll see plenty of taxis parked outside. If you live in the NYC area this is definitely a mall to visit specially if you don't have a car to drive out to NJ or long island. This mall definitely surpassed my expectations.

Google
Love this mall because their selection of different stores is amazing! Pretty clean, staff is nice enough and there's a big selection of quick bites/drinks. I wish they would open a movie theater here though. I'd be here everyday, 24/7.

Queens Center is an impressive shopping destination that truly caters to a wide range of shoppers. Located conveniently in Elmhurst, this mall has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for popular fashion brands, dining options, or even a quick shopping spree. As a frequent visitor, I can confidently say it’s one of the best shopping centers in the Queens area. Here’s why: 1. Wide Range of Stores: Queens Center houses an extensive variety of stores, including well-known names like Macy’s, JCPenney, Uniqlo, Zara, and H&M. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, electronics, beauty products, or gifts, this mall offers an abundance of options. The layout makes it easy to navigate, with stores organized in a way that feels intuitive. There are also specialty shops like Pandora and Bath & Body Works that add to the unique shopping experience. 2. Great Dining Options: The food court at Queens Center is a standout feature. With a mix of fast-food chains like Chick-fil-A and Shake Shack, alongside healthier options and international cuisines, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a sit-down meal, restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory offer a more relaxed atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of coffee and dessert spots like Starbucks and Häagen-Dazs for a quick pick-me-up during your shopping trip. 3. Accessibility and Convenience: The mall is easily accessible via public transportation, with multiple subway and bus lines stopping nearby. For drivers, there’s a parking garage, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. That said, the convenience of location makes it an excellent choice for both locals and visitors. The mall is also wheelchair accessible, with elevators and wide pathways to ensure everyone can shop comfortably. 4. Clean and Well-Maintained Environment: One of the first things you’ll notice about Queens Center is how clean and well-maintained it is. The mall management does an excellent job of keeping the common areas tidy, even during busy weekends. The restrooms are also well-kept, which is a big plus for families and travelers. 5. Events and Promotions: Queens Center often hosts events and seasonal promotions, which add to the excitement of visiting. During the holidays, the mall is beautifully decorated, creating a festive shopping experience. Keep an eye out for sales, as many stores offer great deals, especially during holiday seasons or Black Friday. 6. Room for Improvement: While Queens Center has many positives, there are a few areas that could be improved. The parking garage, while convenient, can become congested quickly. More signage directing shoppers to available spaces would be helpful. Additionally, the mall can get very crowded during weekends and holidays, so visiting during off-peak hours is recommended for a more relaxed experience. Final Thoughts: Queens Center is a must-visit for anyone in the New York City area who loves shopping or simply wants to enjoy a day out. The wide selection of stores, excellent dining options, and convenient location make it a top-tier shopping destination. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this mall is worth checking out. Just plan your visit during off-peak times if you want to avoid the crowds! Would highly recommend Queens Center for its versatility and vibrant atmosphere.

Google
The management at that mall really needs to keep the escalator running — it’s incredibly inconvenient when it’s constantly off. The staff are beyond lazy and cheap that they feel the need to turn them off! I want to give this garbage mall a -100 if I could!

Has most common retails chains like H&M Zara Victoria Secret Cotton On as well as Bath and Body Works. Food court has good varieties.

Yelp
Ah, the decently large mall that is a nostalgic time capsule of retail therapy. This place has it all: from Apple (because who doesn't need another overpriced gadget) to Build-A-Bear (for those days when you just need to stuff a bear with love and personal issues), and Crocs (because comfort over fashion is sometimes the way to go). The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. But I hope this one never goes extinct. It holds too many memories, and let's be real, where else am I going to find a place with such a perfectly balanced blend of capitalism and camaraderie in the five boroughs?

Yelp
Nice mall and very convenient to get there by train and bus if you live in NYC. It is probably the biggest mall in NYC because it is filled with so many stores such as Macy's, JC Penney, and the Apple Store. The mall is very big and has 3 levels and a lower level and is divided in two halves with the food court ending in the first half of the mall. The food court consists of many cool eats and to name a few, there's Chick Fil A, Bonchon, Chipotle, Charleys Philly Steaks, Noodle House, Sarku Japan, The Halal Guys, KFC, Panda Express, and sbarro. Also this mall carries Cheesecake Factory, Applebees, Starbucks, and Shake Shack so you know this mall has a lot of variety and diversity when it comes to food. One thing I wish this mall has is more bathrooms because of the size of this mall and having to walk a lot to reach a bathroom is not convenient. This mall has a nice floor to walk on and you can see other levels as you walk. Many escalators around you so it saves you from having to walk a lot. Many shops and stores geared to many people of different cultures, age and gender. This mall is very big so it might take a day or two to finish every store. There is a parking lot which you have to pay by the hour.

Yelp
This mall is rather large. This was second visit to the mall-- my first visit was back in 2006 or 2007. I still remembered that visit because I was impressed with the mall, on my first visit. I was able to shop at a few stores for my daughter, like Abercrombie and Zara. As the mall was so large I forgot where some stores were and I didn't have the energy to try and re-trace my steps after the Yelp fashion show.

Yelp
This place is awful! I tried to do a simple exchange, they would not honor it. The mall use to always be nice. A huge selection of stores, I loved coming here. But lately some of the places are just going down hill. The pricing is ok, service could be better. I like the food court.

Yelp
Queens Center Mall on Queen's Boulevard has improved in my experience. They appear to draw new businesses when a business closes. I'm sure it takes a long time. I'm not visiting frequently because it is almost a hour on two subway trains to get here. It was sad when H&M closed but Zara is coming and a store called Primark. There's lots of food choices and big name restaurants around the perimeter of the mall. The mall is clean and has places for me to sit to rest. The bathrooms are clean when I visit and well supplied. I'm glad to enjoy acting like a mall rat. I'm reminded of when my daughter was growing up in Florida and we were always at the mall!

Yelp
This review is for the EV charging station. Didn't know that charging in Queens/NYC requires you to pay for garage parking plus EV fees! (There are other charging stations located next to gas stations that don't require garage fees.) Typically it's $6 for 2 hours, but still the garage fee adds up! We came here around 8 AM on a weekday. There were a number of Telsla and non-Telsla charging stations. There were a number of people just hanging out by their Telsla charging portals. I was confused why they don't just go inside the mall. And then I realized that the mall wouldn't open until 10 AM. Also later I found out that if you let your car just sit there after the charge is full, you will be charged with additional fees of idling. So when in NYC, you gotta do what the New Yorkers do. I ended up walking down and back up on the car ramps, fortunately no cars around because the mall wasn't officially open. It was around $15 for around 100 miles, plus $6 of parking fee. I'd say it's fairly reasonable for charging in the city. Convenience? Hmm, not so sure.

Yelp
This is one of the larger malls and all of the 5 boroughs. It has quite a bit of things inside of it. And it's not sweltering, like other. They have a great variety of stores, restaurants, quick bites and even a food court as a gen x'er, This is the quintessential space that I hope never goes away. Pretty grateful that I can get a little bit of everything and nostalgia rolled all into one.
google avatar

Doron Y.

Yelp
I am a little confused by the way that the other person said that they were not allowed to have a conversation. I am so glad that I am able to help with this situation and I hope that I will be more understanding with the other people in the future.

Yelp
Best mall ever I lived in nyc for 25 years next door to jcp and the queens center mall whenever I am sad I go to the mall and shopping is my therapy to make my day every day marvelous. At this mall all the stores send me catalogs and coupons with best prices and I loved to shop here if I move the only thing I will miss is my queens center mall , my quarter century and almost 3 decades I spent my life here.I love you mall hope you this mall is safe forget Ameen !!
google avatar

Maram A.

Yelp
A variety of stores is what you'll find here but I encourage you to stop at the kiosks and random stands. There's some really good and unique finds like the Giaqomozo stand that sells hip sweatshirts and can be customized. Some if them glow in the dark too. Mera's Tip: shop and support small businesses

Yelp
Man... I've been going to Queens Center back when it was just one building. The Macys side. Holy crap this mall has gone to hell. Start with the parking lot. DIRTY AF. Trash all over. Smells like straight up piss. Speak of piss... the bathrooms, DISGUSTING. I rest of the mall is just eh. Some decent stores but nothing worth going through all that other BS. Queens Center go take a walk around Roosevelt Field Mall & see what a nice clean mall looks like. Two thumbs way low.
google avatar

Alice W.

Yelp
Not sure why this mall has such low reviews! It's beautiful and clean and has tons of different stores. There's a big food court on the lowest level, and there are also food kiosks and restaurants throughout the mall. Some stores and kiosks have closed, but new ones open up fairly quickly after old ones shut down. There are 3 floors to explore, and I still haven't seen the whole mall. However, bathrooms are easy to find despite the mall's large size.

Yelp
I walked into Queens Center and was immediately hit with the smell of pretzels and nostalgia. Those of us in Manhattan and Brooklyn get a rare dose of a mall and it felt good to be walking around an indoor shopping center. For a Wednesday night it felt pretty busy. The selection of stores is good, things seem new + updated. And again, it smells like pretzels which is a plus. Besides nostalgia, the real beauty of this mall is the food court. Burmese Bites is reason enough to come. Please eat here if you come here - Being able to support local business inside a mall food court is like a dream. The rest of the food options look pretty decent as well... Panda Express is never a bad thing.

Yelp
@Queens Center Mall. I was just at the Queens Mall and it was disgusting. The entire parking garage smelled like urine. There were dead rats and garbage everywhere. It really was unacceptable and I won't be returning anytime soon sadly. I used to love coming to this mall. Not anymore ! Sent from my iPhone

Yelp
Queens Center is much like any other shopping mall however this one is three floors and has basically any store you can think of shopping in. The location is very easy to get to and they have a very nice amount of parking for you to get so you don't need to circle lots like many other malls you may go to. The food court has so many different choices to pick from such as Charleys Steaks to sit down places such as Cheesecake Factory and Applebees. The prices at these locations are the same generic prices like all of their other locations. The food court has a nice amount of seating and you shouldn't have to worry about finding a table to eat at because even if it is busy people eat rather quickly and move on to the next location they are shopping at. Three floors of places to shop?! RIP my wallet! They have many different places to shop from such as the Applestore to Build-a-bear for your children(or you) to Sephora. Anything you can think of looking to buy, you will be able to find at a store here. The location is also very well lit outside and always seems very clean like the workers are never not cleaning here. If you are here for travel or a local, I think you should stop here if you are looking to buy stuff while you are in the area!
google avatar

Mei L.

Yelp
The food court has plenty of Asian options now! My favorite was the beef noodle soup from the Noodle House. The Bao place was okay. Their best item was the fried bread that came with condensed milk.
google avatar

Min Y.

Yelp
I can find anything I'm looking for. Not as much food choices in food court but it's doable. I like it's in many levels of floors and has many options to get to each level. I find it relaxing and fun. Everyone there is friendly and respectful. That's welcoming to me. 5/5 will keep shopping

Yelp
Standstill traffic for about 8 hours and counting....Queen Center Mall Parking lot. I called 911 x2, Mall security x10(Mall Security hanged up on me) and 311. I went downstairs to check if there was anyone directing traffic and QCM did not have any traffic workers or anything. I do see this as safety issue given if this was a real emergency. Again, I realize that today is Black Friday, but regardless standstill traffic for this long is not safe at all. -QCM DO BETTER Address: 9015 Queens Blvd Elmhurst,NY 311-08531062 (Call ID)

Yelp
I love this mall and visit it all the time, but so many classic stores just keep closing. The Lego store closed down, and I would always visit this mall for the Lego store in particular since it's the only one one queens, but now I've had to switch to online.
google avatar

Dee J.

Yelp
So many stores so little time. Been here several times when I can just order online and oi k it up from the store that located in the mall. However this Christmas season was different. Everything I needed to bu wasn't online but was most likely limited stock in the store. Was able to grab some things off the list but it's a mad house just days before Christmas. On a regular day, still a lot of people. However easier to go around in. Traffic is crazy so whenever I can take public transportation I would . Just so I can avoid traffic. Love the Macy's over there and there an Olive Gardn nearby. Would go back but when mentally prepared for the crowds.
google avatar

Yelp
Sorry!, No stars for this place. OMG, when I go back to Carvels in Queens Center Mall in partnership with Cinnabon I will be getting my money back, Please and thank you!, I get nauseous just looking at the photo, it's been 4 or five hours ago and I still feel nauseous.

Yelp
The mall has improved over the years for sure. I use to work at the mall 13 years ago and they have literally added a lot more stores than before. Very busy area for sure as it's residential and closer to all form of transportation. The mall has 3 main floors and a ground floor. Parking lots are available at JCPenney and Macy's wing and you can pay before existing at the pay station located on the 2nd floor on both sides of the mall. Bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor on both sides of the mall as well. The mall is like literally divided in half with the connecting bridge in the middle. Starbucks is located on the 2nd floor across from Apple and Pink by Victoria secret. There's Sephora as well on the second floor and a small section of it inside JCPenney. Charlotte Russe has previously closed down but recently opened again on the ground floor on Macy's side across from forever21. On the JCPenney side on the ground floor is the food court. Which is about decent size but it's really crowded during the weekend and holidays. I doubt it you will get a space to sit and there's a play station for the kids as well. Not too long ago they opened up Cheesecake Factory on the first floor of JCPenney side. If you love pretzels the small booths are located on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of JCPenney side and 1st floor of Macy's side. They even serve shaved Ice cream on the ground floor on the Macy's side. There's so much too do once you plan your trip but just be mindful of the day you are visiting. Weekends are terrible with traffic and crowd at the mall.
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Queens Center is a medium/large mall. Moderately crowded on a Saturday afternoon. No hand sanitizer anywhere, not even in the food court. There are a few restrooms in case you want to wash your hands. About 90% of people there wore masks. Nearly all of the escalators were broken. Some elevators were also out of order. I saw a mall worker pushing around a cleaning cart extremely slowly and getting in everyone's way. There's Wi-Fi here. There's a food court on the lower level. Half of the seats were roped off, forcing everyone to crowd into the remaining half. Just what you need during a pandemic: less social distancing. There's a sign saying vaccines are required to enter the food court, but no one asked for proof.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
If you reside in Queens, & you're looking to do some shopping, this should probably be the spot to visit. The mall is right off the Woodhaven Blvd. stop (M, R train). You can also reach it via several MTA buses. And if you're driving, it's has a sizable parking garage. Caution, do not confuse this place w/ Queens Place Mall (Target), or Rego Park Mall (Costco); all 3 are close to each other. QCM has 4 levels (lower level is food court), & is filled w/ popular brands. There's 150 different stores, & shopping kiosks to explore. Definitely go to their website to see the full list. Throughout the mall, there's places to sit, & even charge your phone. You could easily spend the whole day here. Fun fact, QCM has the most foot traffic in all of Queens.
google avatar

Norman J.

Yelp
I was recently on the other side of QCM the food court side and I noticed that this side of the mall. Particular the food court, It is a great food court don't get me wrong but it seem have quite a few crazy characters wondering around the food court and the upper level also .I dont know what is going on with their security, but this situation needs to change .i know we shouldn't discriminate against a person who is homeless. But when you are in a popular nyc mall that happens to be in queens this is not cool. You have kids and family's here shopping .and people are spending money at this food court.because this food court is also a major attraction of the mall .but I noticed one side of the mall has a better control of these kind of things .I still think this is still one of my favorite malls in nyc .that's why iam writing about this to let them know what changes can be made .
google avatar

Mei C.

Yelp
Came here on a quiet weekday, shops were half opened as Covid restrictions are in placed. This mall is no longer bustling with busy shoppers moving store to store. The ever present Macy's also seemed a bit tamed and toned down, no big blowout sales, no long lines. Some stores have security in the front to limit the amount of people inside at a time, I didn't bother waiting in line. Food-court was also emptied; tables and chairs are folded and placed on the side wall. All eateries are just for takeout and grab and go. Bought a bag of pretzels and ate it while walking around. ~Sigh, hope a new year will revitalize this once beautiful mall.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
One of the key reasons I try to stay away from this mall is the parking issues. There is plenty of parking but when you try to leave you find a long line of people trying to pay through one of the electronic cashiers. Most are not working properly. The last time I was there, only one of fully operational the other only accepted card transactions. There are 2 others that were out of order. 2 months ago it was exactly the same situation. You can also pay as you exit but that too was not working Sunday, Oct, 3. 2022. There is a woman that trouble shoots issues . She finally opened the gate after 10 minutes of trying to get my paid receipt into the device. Please fix these issues.

Kyle Amari P.

Yelp
There's a few things to consider when you go to pick up the mall first of all I never took into an account how many homeless people inhabit the massage chairs and they bother some of the customer shopping and in the waiting centers there aren't what they used to be the mall isn't what it used to be because in the waiting sensors and the waiting areas brother customers can sit and wait and shop they used to have a TV on they would at least have the news on I feel like they should at least have the news on why do you have a television if the television ain't even on and I don't know if the security guards are aware of the homeless people but they stink and they be bothering the customers other than that queen of Tomorrow is a beautiful place and it's been beautiful for generations it's just that it's just that little thing that makes the mall look dirty or dirty they have a lot of beautiful stores open a lot of beautiful food court restaurant
google avatar

Tara H.

Yelp
Great mall! Great pricing etc! Loved going would love to again. Also, it's nice to see a mall that's reasonable and in this area.
google avatar

Gwenny C.

Yelp
This place is always so crazy, it literally feels like a zoo. Traffic is the worst. There's a constant barrage of racing motorcycles, honking horns, screaming people outside. Once you get inside, it's not much different. I just... eeeeuuuggh
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
Dirty and hotter than hell. I had to review because I complained to Macy's staff that the store was way too hot. Everyone was dripping sweat, what kind of experience is that? Macy's at least had their fans on, the rest of the mall didn't. I touched the railing and it felt dirty: breeding ground for germs and disease. I will not be back for another few years.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
We were there on a weekday in June. Definitely less people, there was a parking deck that you need to pay for which is very ideal however there weren't many lights so it was difficult to see even in the daytime. You had to take the stairs to the mall from the parking deck which wasn't too clean. The rest of the mall was good, clean with plenty of shops, restaurants of different variety, etc.
google avatar

Katrina R.

Yelp
Visiting from California, I wanted to go to the mall for some shopping. There were lots of people and great store selections.. The food court had some great options as well. After lunch at the mall and shopping, I learned of Queens Night Market online. It was fun, with lots of international food options and entertainment. Its hours are from 5pm to midnight. If you are in town, I definitely recommend it.
google avatar

Colette H.

Yelp
This place is great! It's super easy to get to. You can park here; you can walk. You could take the subway - I really like how convenient it is to get here and how there is access to plenty of stores. I have been here several times and always have a great time. This mall is really clean and well maintained. I've come on weekday evenings and on weekends and I've never thought it was too crowded. Even if there are a lot of people here, it's pretty spacious and there are lots of stores that don't get too crowded themselves. The mall staff and sales associates I've had interactions with at Aldo, H&M, L'Occitane, etc were very helpful and courteous. I would definitely come back here to shop more.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
I do not frequent this Shopping Center often, but the couple of times I've been here it has been a positive experience. There are areas where if weary one can sit and rest while munching on a snack or sipping a beverage. Plenty of stores to go and browse, department stores like Macy's and JCPenney., smaller niche stores. My favorite, the Apple Store. The wait is long sometimes, but that usually happens for service in every Apple Store no matter the location. This time I only had a question about a purchase receipt from Apple. I was told as soon as I showed the agent the email that it was not from Apple, but a scam. Beware! Parking is expensive by Queens standards, yet convenient. Generally, two hours is spent per visit. Until the next time!
google avatar

Sailor M.

Yelp
I'll be generous with my review. I was gonna do 3 stars, but decided against it. I normally don't engage large departments store, or malls for shopping adventures because the scale, crowds, inventory, and lack of cashiers all make my shopping experiences extremely uncomfortable. I don't have time for lousy retail service. My only real complaint is the atmosphere. This place is filled with the loudest teens ever. All of them are going through puberty & come in here to act up, be foolish around their guy friends to show they have street cred and swagger. If they aren't doing that, they are busy trying to impress some silly girl holding onto her virginity while he is desperately trying to get affection and bust! The mall has come a long way. They have remodeled and added several new stores. But the stores don't really last, as the retail base just isn't there anymore. I would still recommend this place because they do have a variety of stores and i find stuff on occasion. Even if most of the stuff i end up buying here is from the food court. Sure it is deep fried and unhealthy, but at least i got to spend some money on fried chicken and curly fries. The physical retail malls really need consumer support. Check this place and fingers crossed one finds a bargain. I am sending myself and you positive vibes. Word of advice: Steer clear of the young loud thugs that are really giving TOO MUCH!

Yelp
I was happy that the mall had finally opened back up. I really needed a thing or two or three. But after going in there and seeing how crowded it was, I went only to Macy's and left. It was a bit much for me. It is good to see people working and businesses open again.

Yelp
Decent mall with lots of shops. One of the big downsides to it is the security guards are dumb as rocks.

Yelp
It's okay here. I come here every now and then since it's near my parents'. It's convenient for Apple genius appts. I don't like hanging out at malls anymore. I'm way too old for that. I prefer shopping online. When it's crowded, it's annoying but if you go after 7pm, it's not too bad. There's only a few popular places that I see people making purchases at. Forever 21, H&M, Victoria's Secret...Guess that's why the other stores have issues staying open.

Yelp
It's a mall. It has a lot of stores. It has a large food court. A Cheesecake Factory is opening here. Decent enough mall with more than enough to shop at. Can be a madhouse on weekends which I discovered recently when I checked it out to do some shopping. Easy to get to by subway from Manhattan, and the station is right across the street. Overall clean, well lit, and with more than enough places to eat close by like Millers Ale House and the Olive Garden. Yes, it's basically the suburbs.

Yelp
Memory Lane coming to Queens Center. High School Daze this was the place to hang out in the food court. Psst- We all go to the White Castles after running on the track or after school. Heck most of us had our first jobs at this mall or White Castles. It was the place to be growing up. Holidays way so much fun here and the neighborhood homes were all decked out with lights and ornaments. Now, it just all high rise residential buildings and commercial ones too. Times have changed. Cause everyone moving out of Manhattan and spilling out to Brooklyn and Queens. All the municipal parking lots around are gone and became part of the Queen Center complex. Can get confusing walking around this place. Entered on the JCPenney side and how to get to the other side where Macy's is without walking outside in the rain or the snow or even crossing the street. Take the escalator up to the next level and you can walk over. If you looking at the directory it can be so confusing. What if I am color blind then I will never find my way. LOL. Look for the sticker that says "YOU ARE HERE" for a starting point. My dilemma is figuring out the stores since it is musical stores coming and going here. As for parking lots- It can be a maze on the JCPenney parking lot side. The Macy side parking lot has been there forever. Here is how you can find both entrances. Go on 92nd Street (Two Way Street-easier for me) is the street between 59th and 57th Avenue. Also, you can access parking lots driving down 57th Avenue (One Way- left via this entrance). Watch out for pedestrian running across the street. It's fun to stop by and relax and check out the stores and get some food before you head out. Happy Shopping!

Yelp
We decided to do some shopping at Queens Center because we wanted a change in scenery instead of Roosevelt Field mall. After lunch in Flushing, we drove here to walk off our huge meal, which took less than 10 minutes. One negative right off the bat is that you must pay for parking if you choose their lot or you can try and find some residential metered parking spaces. We were able to find a free space a few blocks away. We got here around 1 pm on a Sunday and it still was not that crowded. The mall is very clean, well organized and spacious with 4 different levels. This mall is pretty large with a plethora of stores ranging from Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Footlocker, Forever 21, H&M, Sephora, JCPenny, Lego, MAC, Armani Exchange, Apple store, True Religion, Guess, Gap, Michael Kors, etc. There is some eating spots like Chickfila, KFC, Chipotle, Shake Shack, Sarku Japan, etc. in the mall but it does not have your typical food court. Not to mention, a Gong Cha as well. All in all, it has a huge amount of diverse stores to fit anyone's unique style needs and there is no sales tax on clothing or footwear that costs less than $110. We will be back again.

Yelp
This mall is actually cool. It's huge!! It has everything you could possibly need, and some things you don't need. Lol. The food court has a little bit of something for everyone, and if you want to do a restaurant, the only Cheesecake Factory in nyc is located across the street from here. I spent a couple of hours yesterday just browsing the mall, and i did enjoy myself. It's a little far for those of us who don't live in queens, but i don't mind the trip as long as I'm able to find the things i need and want. So all in all, for a NYC mall at that, pretty darn good lol.

Yelp
As a disabled person this mall is the worst. The escalators NEVER work properly. Today even the elevator not working at same time as escalator. I was going to have lunch at food court but getting back up would be a problem

Yelp
Visited a few days ago in search of business attire. I plan to return on my own to window shop. There are three levels, tons of stores and isn't too far away from where we live. There is a parking garage with reasonably priced parking fees. Overall the mall was clean, with an airy feel, and lots of shopping options to catch ones eye. I was able to find everything to my liking and left satisfied.

Yelp
Queens Center is a older, somewhat-clean mall in Queens. 4 Levels tall, with a complete area dedicated to the food court. As other malls go, its not as nice and shiny-new as the other malls that-don't-call-themselves-a-mall (Columbus Circle, Oculus, et al.) But Queens Center serves a purpose: if you want Chick-Fil-A (lower level), Chipotle, Shake Shack or you wanted to look for candles at White Barn (Level 2). Or if you want an air conditioned area to walk around in with your relatives. The other food options in the food court is generic and can be found in other malls across the country (Panda Express, Noodle House, Sakur Japan, sbarro, etc). When I'm there, I like to point to the menu options and laugh! That's not Chinese or Japanese! Other than that, everything can be ordered on Amazon. And this place gets crazy crowded on the weekends with families and teenagers.

Yelp
It might just be the only mainstream mall in NYC, but Queens Center Mall is about as mall'y as it gets. I'm not talking about places like Manhattan Mall (http://www.yelp.com/biz/manhattan-mall-new-york), the poshy Time Warner Center (http://www.yelp.com/biz/time-warner-center-new-york).or any of the mega combo department stores in Flushing. I'm talking something like the Staten Island Mall (http://www.yelp.com/biz/staten-island-mall-staten-island), with all the cookie cutter layouts, chain stores, and local crowd. QCM might not be more impressive than the rest of suburban mall America, but it features the same usual suspects in any mall: Macy's, Yankee Candle, Applebee's, Sbarro Pizza, Banana Republic, and much more. A lot of folks will come here to gripe at Time Warner Cable (http://www.yelp.com/biz/time-warner-cable-express-elmhurst-2), eat at the sprawling food court, and fight the weekend crowds. Speaking of the food court, it's as if the fast food chains made a pact and decided to all open up right next to each other. The options are a bit limited outside of KFC, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Chipotle, or Charley's. Even the mediocre Noodle House (http://www.yelp.com/biz/noodle-house-elmhurst-2) and Kido Sushi (http://www.yelp.com/biz/kido-sushi-elmhurst) are still better options. They have a policy about food being brought into the mall, but I notice plenty of people do it all the time. There was a time when the mall was a lot worse than it is now. With new stores opening up all the time and the place looking a little more clean, I'm hopeful the QCM will only get better in time.
