"Queens, NY; 25 minutes from Midtown If you’re looking for a pumpkin patch that’s accessible via subway or rideshare, try Queens County Farm Museum. It’s been around since 1697, which means it’s automatically spooky. They have hayrides, corn maze exploration, and pumpkin picking, plus a farm store where you can buy apples from the Hudson Valley, flowers, honey, cider, and (most importantly) donuts. And don't forget to say hi to the lovely alpacas." - neha talreja, hannah albertine, carina finn koeppicus, molly fitzpatrick

The on-site apiary, home to more than two million honeybees, is the largest in the city. Honey and fresh eggs are available for purchase in the farm store. The museum also hosts seasonal events." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"A lot of the fall stuff happens outside of the city, but if you’re looking for a pumpkin patch that’s accessible via subway or rideshare, try Queens County Farm Museum. It’s been around since 1697 which means it’s automatically spooky and will inevitably contain plaques. They’re open for hayrides and pumpkin picking every day until 4pm, and their corn maze this year is themed after Andy Warhol’s cow." - Hannah Albertine

A hidden gem. I highly recommend the tour of the farm house to bring this place to life. I loved it. And it's free! Thank you! While so much has changed about the WAY we do things, people of yesteryear had similar concepts of WHAT they wanted to do. It's fascinating to see how they came up with ways to accomplish daily chores (which took an hour, day or week) with their limited tools. What respect. Men, women and children all contributed. Amazing. Would have stayed longer to feed the animals, do the Amazing Maize maze and explore so much more, if not for the chilly fall wind.

I recently attended Queens Farm Museum, and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. For a free event, the quality was outstanding! The farm itself is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of history, nature, and fun. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable for visitors of all ages. There were so many engaging activities for both kids and adults, and the attention to detail in the programming was fantastic. The farm’s peaceful atmosphere made it a great escape from the city, and I loved the opportunity to see the animals up close, explore the grounds, and learn about agriculture in such a hands-on way. Considering this was a free event, the quality far exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find such a well-organized, high-quality experience without an admission fee. I highly recommend visiting Queens Farm Museum whether you’re attending an event or just looking to spend a day outdoors!

Google
such a fun place to visit! they currently have a corn maze and hay rides and cider and donuts (oh my!). lots of livestock you can see and you can feed the goats and sheep. very well maintained, vibrant environment. recommend for a family outing or just a quiet day visiting the cows.

Google
Owned and operated by NYC, it’s one of a kind park to visit. Saved from oblivion by string of lucky historical turns of events, the farm is oasis among dense urban development. I have appreciated free farm house tour with historical details, it was highlight of the visit. I wish the farm would allow to purchase food to feed the animals, it would provide for much more engaging interaction with visitors.

Fun place to visit with the family! I attended a child’s birthday party which was a lot of fun for everyone. We enjoyed seeing the animals and a hay ride around the property. There’s activities every weekend so it’s always a good time to stop by!

I took my children once in 2018 and once after that again. I need to take them again. It's lovely! The animals were so calm and beautiful. The staff was kind. It's truly beautiful and they have activities like the hayride (which was my favorite). The children were able to ride the horses and feed the cows. So cute!

Google
It's a nice basic farm that you would take your young kids to if you want to introduce them to a farm. There are not many things to see. Two bulls, some goats, chicken, and bee hive. We took our summer school kids on a trip there, and they enjoyed the scenery and the hay ride.

Google
This place is lovely, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. The animals appear relaxed and happy. There's a free tour of the main original house, guided by a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who did a wonderful job. You can purchase food to feed the animals, which adds to the fun. There's also a gift shop. Best of all, admission is free!

Yelp
This is a historic farm in Queens. They have animals, historic buildings, tours and many events year round. We went in fall around Halloween. They had a live band in costume, food trucks, a pumpkin patch, a maize maze, hayrides, and a farm stand. They also sell cider and apple cider donuts there. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours. They have parking lots and you can find street parking nearby.

Chris P.

Yelp
On the last day of 2023, we had a mother and daughter field day. The time was limited as the farm and store were closing at 2pm. I finally visited the farm store with her, and she had a blast sitting on the floor playing with the pencils. The store also has an outdoor area where plants can be purchased. The cashier was very welcoming and made a few purchases of the leftover holiday items using the 10% discount if you check in on Yelp! The store has lots of fun toys for the kids, DIY stuff, and kits that would make great gifts. Plus, they have fresh farm eggs, which I hope to purchase next time I return.

Yelp
On the website it states it was open until 5. It was not They stopped selling tickets at 3 and wouldn't let us in.

Yelp
This is NOT a review of the Queens County Farm Museum but of the Winter Lantern Festival. Celebrating it's third year, the festival has over 150, 000 guests visit annually. LED lights are weaved to create intricate designs all throughout the farm lawns. My daughter got us tickets to see some holiday lights and this was the first one we visited. What a great way to kick off the holiday season. Arriving at the farm, street parking was a breeze. After we walked in we realized they had a paid lot. We presented our tickets with ease and walked right into the vastness of the display. Displays range in themes from animal kingdom to Disney Princesses, Marvel characters , animal classifications and a host of other crafty images sure to grab your attention. We walked around for about an hour but it was so cold it made if difficult to stay longer. A live band entertained families right outside of the area off to the side where vendors sold corn dogs, donuts, popcorn and my favorite, cotton candy. All the staff we encountered were super professional and hospitable making it a rather pleasurable experience. Overall, we had a great time, took some cute photos to capture the moment and savor the experience. We will def be back. Catch them before they leave this weekend. Date: November 17th to January 7th, 2024 Opening hours: Fridays-Sundays, various sessions throughout 17:00 to 21:00 Duration: the walk is around 45 minutes long. Location: Queens County Farm Museum Age requirement: all ages are welcome! Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult Accessibility: the venue is not ADA compliant Price: Consult the prices in the calendar on their site but she paid $22 per ticket.

Yelp
This is a great place to visit if you're looking for more of a nature scene without venturing too far from the city! It's ideal for families with children, especially those ranging in age from infants to grade school-aged kids. Be prepared to walk a lot in the dirt, which tends to get fairly muddy after rain. Even so, however, the paths are well paved and flat, allowing for easy walking and for pushing strollers. A plus? Admission is free! If you're a fan of history, there's some stuff for you too! The farmhouse holds tours every thirty minutes or so, and the staff are great at making sure visitors have a good experience learning and enjoying the farm vibe. They offer food from food trucks as well as their own handmade donuts and other treats. All delicious! All of this combined makes for a great spot to visit with loved ones, especially little ones.

Yelp
Just because I gave this park 3 stars doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this small fun floral escape. I wanted to take my close friend somewhere different on her birthday. Travel all the way to flushing, queens just to get there. After arriving I was dissatisfied! I expected much more. But I didn't let my friend not have fun on her special day. Took lots of pictures of each other, did make some tiktok Then took her to eat dinner in Astoria. All together it wasn't that bad. The floral decoration was amazing. But if you spending hours traveling from far this isn't a place for you. For local people it's a fun little place! Btw, every season they change the decor of the farm so it doesn't look the same all year , that's sounds interesting! Maybe I will give it a try on a different season ..

Yelp
$30 for a pumpkin is insane! Animals and grounds are well kept and beautiful. Takes 1 - 2 hours just walking the trail around the farm.

Sheila M.

Yelp
Enjoyed going to this educational farm museum. Some live animals. They have special events

Jessica O.

Yelp
We really enjoyed ourselves here. Perfect place to go with your kids. Animals, picnic, private spaces. You can host a birthday party here. Large area. I didn't see any food but I'm sure you can take a sandwich and water in there. I did a video review which is posted on my tik tok: @jessiica0204 DONT forget to follow me!!

Skyler B.

Yelp
The maze by moonlight was too crowded to enjoy. Someone in another group commented as I passed that it was "like being in Times Square". Because of the overcrowding, it was so dusty that everyone in my group left with a small cough. With less crowding, the maze experience would have been fun, but as it was it felt like simply bumping into strangers in corn and dust for an hour.

Yelp
Great time at Illuminate the Farm. We got tickets through Groupon (with an additional discount) for about $42 for four tickets. The gate prices are about $25 per person, but discounts are available on their site. There was a parking lot there (not sure if there is a fee), but there are spaces regularly available along Little Neck Parkway. Lots of cool and interesting light displays of all sizes. The walk-through tunnels were particularly cool. Lots of photos ops. There are small playground areas that are lit up. There were two food vendors there. I enjoyed it for what I paid...but I would have been disappointed if I paid $100 for my family (gate prices)...there just isn't much to do there to justfy that price. Look for Groupons/discounts before you go.

Shengyu G.

Yelp
I came here specifically to feed the animals. They have sheep, goats, alpacas, cows and hens. You can get the feeding treats from the store there. It's about $3 per bag. Basically it's just straws in the bag. I think only sheep and goats can be fed. It is a nice place to come when you want to have some out of city life and get close to the nature. I had a good time to feed the cuties. Hopefully they enjoyed the treats! :)

Kailyn L.

Yelp
We come here every year for the Maize Maze and always have a blast! This year's theme is Georgia O'Keeffe's "Ram's Head, Blue Morning Glory." Upon arrival, your team will be given a flag pole and a blank map to fill in. There are different stations located throughout the maze. At each station, you will find a portion of the maze map and when completed, you'd be able to see the final image of the painting. There are various trivia questions scattered along the way too if you are up for an extra challenge. Pro tip: they offer a maze in the dark option on select nights, which is perfect to do around Halloween time. The farm itself is fun to explore as well. They have various farm animals, a band performing on silts, and a small amusement park for the kids.

Brie F.

Yelp
We had a family outing and took our little one to the Pumpkin Patch and to see some animals. The Pumpkin Patch was adorably cute. We bought her a small Pumpkin as a souvenir. She enjoyed looking at the animals. I know the farm is free but I would've paid for a plethora of animals. They were scattered about and barely any on the farm. That's the downside of this place. As we walked around we decided to grab a bite of food from East Coast Street Tacos.

Bianca C.

Yelp
I brought my daughter here for the lantern festival So very excited to bring my daughter to this event but I really did not know what to expect. While driving by I quickly realized this event is not like the others. So colorful, vibrant and well thought out. I actually went on the very last day and there was a good amount of people I will say not crowded. As we walked up checked in they gave us some halo feathered headbands that light up and we started our tour. There was one vendor selling toys on the side things just looked all over the place in his area. We took many pictures but did try to move quickly since it was freezing out. There were themed lanterns and it was a beautiful experience. My daughter & I truly enjoyed it. Everyone here seemed to be very nice as many of us swapped phones so we could get group photos.

Kori A.

Yelp
I had no idea Queens had a farm! I'm so bummed I didn't discover this place earlier. It truly is a gem. We parked on the street I was surprised there was parking. We went during an off day so I am not sure if there is food. I did enjoy the animals and quiet while there. The workers I encountered were so nice! I honestly cannot wait to visit again!

Jess L.

Yelp
*** 5,000th review *** Wow, I can't believe it took us so long to visit! This spot is awesome for feeling like you're away from the city. There's lots of space to run around or sit in the grass. You can walk by all the fields where real produce and flowers are growing. The animals make this spot particularly fun for kids. There aren't always many visible, but there are just enough to be entertaining and really take you out of the city. There's a small shop in the front. Check out the popsicles on a hot summer day. There are constant events here, including the current Illuminate the Farm. For $25/adult, you can wander around and ogle at lanterns. What an interesting concept! It's surprisingly entertaining. My family and I already have a lot of happy memories here. There's always something new to see.

Maria G.

Yelp
I was there yesterday with my 2 girls in the morning to see for a birthday party, it has stepped up its game, not that it was bad before but i was surprised by the coordination and stores too, the girl up front was very friendly, forgot your name but remember you by face, showed me how to go online to reserve a party, the whole farm was clean, there weren't that many ppl there which we like, we enjoyed it even though it was short for us because I forgot to bring a wagon.

Rita L.

Yelp
Cute light show set up :) came back again this year and walked around, wear warmer clothes since it does get cold at night! Good to spend an hour or so walking around and checking out lanterns. Buy tickets through Groupon for discounts!

Jamel O.

Yelp
Queens Farm Museum is great year round! The Hayride is awesome. However, my favorite thing is going there, walking around and doing The Amazing Maize Maze! It is also a great place in Queens to take kids for Pumpkin Patch activities. The farm is free except on special admission days. You can picnic there as well!

J J.

Yelp
Great visit no matter what age you are. Saw a lot of farm animals such as goats, sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, etc. It is free to go here but I recommend supporting the farm by buying some things inside the farm house near the entrance. Bags of goat food are 3 dollars each and drinks are also about 3 dollars each. I bought 2 bags and 2 drinks. There are also bee farms, crops, farm houses, etc. It was really hot when I came here (96 degrees) so could not stay a long time but I really enjoyed my time here. The workers were friendly too. Recommend.

Cristina S.

Yelp
Went on a field trip today. Our kids loved it! We did the cider pressing but had the opportunity to explore the farm animals, enjoy the hay ride and walk the grounds as we learned about this wonderful 40 + acres land owned by the state. So thrilled this is still a working farm that everyone can enjoy. Amazing staff, clean facilities and well organized. Thank you!!

Marco L.

Yelp
I cam for the Maize Maze and ended up enjoying everything else that the Farm Museum had to offer as well. Maize Maze: 4.5/5. It was a solid time, nothing too difficult but still a great activity to try out. There's a crossword puzzle and other hints on the activity sheet for participants to fill out while going through the maze. There is also a bit of a riddle and items to collect within the maze. Farm and everything else: 5/5 - The donuts were okay - There was a nice pumpkin patch to take photos in - There were various fenced areas where animals were (Chicken, Sheep, Goat, Pig) - There was a thicc boy of a pig that made the entire trip worth it All in all, I'd recommend this as a really nice experience away from the city but still relatively close and accessible.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Great local in Queens spot for the family. It's a large farm with wonderful activities in the spring and summer. The Easter events are particularly great for families. During the holiday season they have illuminate. Great for the holidays. It's amazing how they are able to run so much electricity around the farm to light up all the lighted lanterns. Families will love it as a holiday get together. Park in the lot and enter as you walk the loop. Highly recommend the walking in structures. Great lighted kids playground as well with lighted see saws. Would recommend the farm for all seasons.

Alexandra G.

Yelp
We had such a wonderful experience here! Great date on a budget or a family outing (I noticed they have scavenger hunt handouts for kids: a thoughtful touch!) The Farm boasts a lot more attractions than I'd expect for free admission: a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayride, food stand, animal feeding and even guided farmhouse tours. The Corn Maze was huge and truly challenging to get through! I really enjoyed the interactivity of the mail boxes and the puzzle map and felt fully immersed within the fields. Can't believe something like this exists only an hour or two from the city. The animals were so cute & active! In addition to the goat & alpaca pictured we got to see some sheep and a charming piggy snacking away at the pumpkins. Based on other reviews, I came in expecting a smaller patch but was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly smaller pumpkins but they were adorably arranged & by far more expansive than any other patch in NYC with no admission fee. I also love that none of the attractions except the hayride had a time limit letting us enjoy things at our own pace. For food we had pumpkin & cider donuts, enjoyed some savory snacks at the stands: corn on the cob complete with a wide variety of condiments for flavoring (Parmesan garlic, tajin, lemon, hot sauce, butter, etc), spicy & regular pickles. The local cider was wonderful as well! We did wish there were smaller cup portions instead of carrying the pitcher around but it was worth the tummy taste at a cheap price. FYI: the Jamaican jerk chicken gave my boyfriend a stomach ache. But this isn't a reflection on the farm & could've just been a bad batch. Proceed at your own risk.

Yelp
Coming back to this historic farmland brings back warm memories, times when we used to go to this place when my kids were still young. We used to frequently come here for wholesome family farm and holiday events. This time, we visited to see the Winter lantern festival and they named it "illuminate the farm". They have an available parking area, It usually gets full on certain events like this, since I live in the neighborhood and I know the area very well, I decided to just look for a street parking, which was easy. We got our tickets from the booth, process was quick and fast. To prevent people traffic and congestion, they decided to have a separate entrance and exit, which was really helpful. The lantern festival was amazing, they have a marvelous arrangement of hand-crafted lanterns across a few acres on this farmland which resulted into an incredible captivating exposition. The farmland was turned in to a magical field of lighted, colorful hand-crafted lanterns which includes flowers, vegetables, fruits, farm animals, insects, holiday ornaments and so much more. The 4 year old nephew of the boyfriend of my daughter had a very delightful night checking out all these lanterns. Inside, they provided food stalls where you can buy different kinds of foods which was not expensive, we elected to buy churros and hot chocolate ( good for a cold night like this). I commend this County farm for always finding and hosting exemplary family events like this. Queens County farm will always be a great place for any family excursions.

Melanie Y.

Yelp
Queens, County, Farm, Museum, is cute for what it is.If looking for a huge place with tons of things to do this is not the place. If you're looking for a cute place to take children, this might be the place for you. They had a cute little pumpkin patch, and there's also feed you can buy in the farm store to feed the animals. My boyfriend and I who do not have children went there just to see what it was about. As I said, it's cute for what it is. Much better suited for children.

Mrs A.

Yelp
In all of New York and we even lived in the Midwest for an entire year, and to this very day, we could never find more delicious apple cider donuts than at Queens County Farm Museum!!!!!! If anyone knows where we can get more during a weekday, please let me know!

Hannah L.

Yelp
"I'm so glad we didn't pay for tickets to this." The Instagram for this farm was SO cute and charming. We were genuinely so excited for an autumnal escape in the city, and after extensive research on farms accessible by train from NYC, we landed on Queens County Farm Museum. Within minutes of arrival, we immediately realized the disconnect between Instagram and reality. Almost immediately, we heard children screaming as they were chased by hornets. The entire farm was buzzing with riled up hornets. Even the farm stand had hornets filling the (sold out) apple cider donut case. No escape. Pretty quickly, other cracks in the facade started to show. The "pumpkin patch" was a pile of Costco pumpkins dumped in a crowded patch of grass, the "Floral Experience" was loads of fake flowers hot glued to hay, and the "halloween decor" consisted of deflating old inflatables. One star for some cute cows and an excellent, lively sheep. Really, really wish I could say differently, but cannot recommend making the journey to this hornet filled farm.

Gary L.

Yelp
Come for the farm and the light show. Always has something going on so come with friends and fam

Christy C.

Yelp
It is our first time doing the illumination at this farm during holiday season and it is a surprise! All the decorations were well decorated and the lights were bright and colorful. My kids had fun calling out the names of each display. Lots of space to run around and there was plenty of space between the displays, so you would not feel crowded at all. However, the farm was a bit smaller than expected and we finished walking the whole thing within an hour. There are lots of street parking by Little Neck Parkway, so I would not want to spend extra money to park inside. The food seemed very expensive inside.

Michelle M.

Yelp
I am a proclaimed history buff, and this farm already gained 1 star with me for being the oldest working farm in Queens. Upon entering the farm, your eyes take you to another time, simpler and full of life. The Queens County Farm Museum has had so much success in part to their marketing and ability to create fun experiences for all ages. For the little ones, activities are more plentiful but for an adult seeking a fun, sober experience this place is it! From the farmer's market to the moonlight maze, it is not hard to spend a day here! Their food items are delicious and everyone is very friendly! So come on out and spend a day at the farm!

jules m.

Yelp
COWS! They HAVE THEM, very happy here i like It, good stuff happening, nice wonderful

Renee R.

Yelp
It was honestly really well put together for a farm so close to the city. It was a mad house on the day we went. It was full of families and their strollers. Everything costs money like all farms Their farm stand was super small but it Thad some fresh produce They ran out of corn and donuts which I think is crazy for a farm. Like common they should know how crazy busy they get on weekends. They had a lot of animals for the petting zoo They give u 2 pieces of lettuce to start with have that it's $6 for a huge bunch of it Over all it was cool a nice alternative to heading upstate or westwards to PA.

Amelia L.

Yelp
This is a cute little farm in the middle of Queens. I love that it is easy to get to and free to visit. The Q46 conveniently stops right near the entrance. They have a parking lot but there is also street parking around the neighborhood. We went this past Saturday, right when they first opened at 10am so that we could skip the crowds. The farm isn't that large but there is plenty to do and see. There is a small pumpkin patch area where kids can pick pumpkins. We saw that they had a corn maze, but we opted not to go through as we had toddlers with us. Instead we spent most of our time at the petting farm. Inside, there ponies that children can ride (for a fee), an area to feed goats, sheep, alpacas, hens and pigs. I thought the food options on the premises were pretty good. We purchased quesadillas, empanadas, chips and cider. They were on the pricier side, but I didn't mind so much since I felt it was going to support the farm. You can bring your own food, if you like. There are picnic tables and open areas where you can sit and eat. When we visited, we saw that there was a covered picnic area, and someone was throwing their child's birthday party there. What a great idea! We had a really great time and had a lovely visit. Highly recommend this farm specially if you have younger children. It's a nice place to bring them to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Steven H.

Yelp
On the small side, but great for kids age 5+. Petting zoo, educational materials and a hayride were all open. They also have an incredible farmer's market we were lucky enough to stop in mid August and there were sooooo many tomatoes. We ended up with several pound (they were charging 50 cents per pound for sauce tomatoes).

Melinda W.

Yelp
Great place to bring family and small children! (or Both)! Also a great place to hold events like weddings! Love this bit of nature in the middle of Queens!

Laila J.

Yelp
We! drive in from the city with the kids the weekend before Halloween. It was raining and they don't offer refunds or ability to switch days.... it was miserable and the wagon ride wasn't even running due to the rain. We were really disappointed and won't be back.

Lori A.

Yelp
What a fun outing we had here today! The last time I was here, I was the student. This time I came as a parent chaperone with my son's school. It was a blast. We arrived right when they first opened which is a definitely must do when arriving as part of a field trip. Our guide Ms. Patty was just lovely and a pleasure to be shown around by. She has a great rapport with children and adults and was very knowledgeable about the farm, its crops and practices. We enjoyed our hayride as well. It was very bumpy but they give you the option to sit out and wait for the group to come back around. We saw lots of great farm animals and veggies and compost piles. Regrettably we didn't have time to check out the playground. That's a good reason to come back - that and the farmers market which wasn't available today because it's a Tuesday. I will definitely return with my family.

Christian P.

Yelp
Came to the Halloween event today and boy oh boy, don't know who runs logistics for this event but anyone would have canceled it due to the rain.

Phong D.

Yelp
Cute little farm to visit if you're in the area. Lots of children and families. Not a lot of animals to look at, but still a nice relaxing environment to spend an hour or two. There is a store that sells snacks and drinks, a few picnic tables around the farm. Animals were very calm and looked well taken care of. Signs posted, that visitors are not allowed to feed the animals. Parking was difficult to find on the street but we found a spot nonetheless. Perfect for younger children, not so much for older kids.

Asim M.

Yelp
Good hot house for seasonal plants. Great for babies to get familiar with animals. Carnivals are big attractions.

Natalie G.

Yelp
This place was so much fun, even on a freezing cold day! Quite the trek from Brooklyn by train so we Uber-ed there. Bought tickets online in advance so there was no wait when we arrived. Not sure why I thought the flowers were real (LOL) but it was equally beautiful and made for great photos. We only stayed half hour of our one hour allotted ticket time frame as it was just too cold to be outside for much longer. The farm had some animals as well, alpacas, sheep and goats were chilling outside enjoying the cold. Would love to visit again in the spring time, I'm sure it will be much more fun then. #warmthamiright

Yelp
Oh gosh- it has been years I haven't set my foot on this place. As I remember correct my last visit at this farm was when my son still in grade school. There has been so many changes and improvements. I agreed that it still the most recommended farm to go to especially if you have kids. We all know that it is a family oriented farm and amenities focused more on children's but did not stop us enjoying and appreciating what it offers. Glad that we swung by as we appreciated more this time their greenhouse, gift shop and market.

This year is all about new experiences for me. When my friend organized a trip to this farm, I was all in. I just had my haircut for Hair Lounge. And, this day, we were watching sheeps getting haircuts. Talk about ironic. The farm is very small. You can pretty much see everything under an hour. However, there are tours you can take. We had a guide walked us around, we learned about fertilization and how they operate year round. I also purchased a pack of Rifle Paper Co. notebooks at the gift shops. It's needed for the notes I have been taking for the LSAT.

Yelp
Big rip off! They say $20 to get in, but then you have to scan bar code on poster and find out you have to pay more for having to use your credit card! It should state all this on their web site!

Yelp
When there is no events or carnivals scheduled it's an extremely quiet place. With very little animals around. I've been going since I was little so I like to bring my son here during the week. Went yesterday and they were doing hayrides and the fresh produce stand was open. We got a probiotic ice pop from the gift shop which was cantaloupe flavored. After seeing some goats and chickens we had lunch at a picnic table. If you live close by, its a nice place to come for an hour or two but I wouldn't make the trip if I lived far.

Yelp
I sure don't know about you but I've had a rough couple of months, within an even rougher year. And I found out about this place recently and decided I had to go and see some animals. Whether you're an animal lover or have young kids to entertain this place is great. It's a nice even level walk with several path ways. It's got several types of animals, including cows, chickens, roasters, goats, sheep and llamas. The animals don't seem scared or under cared for. They seem patient and loved. They always seem to have enough to eat too! It was a gorgeous fall walk. I highly recommend this place if you have a way to get a bit out of the city. Thanks for the free and much needed animal experience!

Yelp
Had a blast here. The corn maze was surprisingly more difficult than I expected, and really fun. The highlight of my trip out here though were the apple cider donuts!! My God, they're the best I've ever had. More a cakey texture, not yeasty. Very moist insider with actual chunks of apple. The minute you open the bag, the scent of cider hits you!! It's not weak at all.
