Great and delicious 😋 coffee is on point seasoned at its best enjoyed our breakfast thank you nice and quiet place.

I decided to get breakfast from this place yesterday morning for my family when I was in Garden Grove. My aunt place is basically across the street so it was convenient. I placed my order online the night before and selected a time for pickup. Their online ordering can be confusing because instead of telling you what's on the entree you selected, it gives you all the options that you can add. I started off with the crepes with strawberry crepes and added banana since I was given that option (I asked for whipped cream and powder sugar on the side) but they didn't put banana or Nutella, the chocolate chip pancakes, strawberry and banana pancakes, fluffy waffles with strawberry, breakfast burrito and quick and easy plate. I found parking easily in the front when I came in the early morning to pick up the food. The workers here are very nice and the lady explain to me that on some order it's an additional charge when you add extra fruits but she didn't for me because she is aware of the issues with ordering online. Everyone loved the food I selected for them and finished everything.

If you want to enjoy a good meal with bottomless coffee and hot pancakes, this is your place! They leave the carafe at your table so you don’t have to flag anyone down for refills. The staff is friendly and happy to help. Their prices are comparable to other places. They are a great choice when choosing where to spend your money on a good meal!

Horrible food quality is super expensive and not even worth the long 20 min wait service was fantastic our waiter was very nice and outstanding. Other than his hospitality, we wouldn't come back, I don't recommend this establishment.

Found this place on vacation and went back on the way out. Great service and great food and lots of food for the price. Our server Salvador went above and beyond for refills and checking up on our experience. Will go back for sure and highly recommend this place for the food and great service.

Previously KINGS pancakes. This place is perfect if you're looking for a casual, easy, delicious breakfast. It is the essential diner experience. My husband and I have made this a part of our weekly routine, and it's always something we look forward to. It's definitely better than IHOP or Dennys, which are the two most comparable. The waiters are always friendly. They are soooo attentive, often bringing a refill prior to the cup even being empty. They bring out the food so quickly! The temperature is perfect, not too hot. Prices are reasonable, and portions are sizeable. The pancakes? Perfection. The whipped butter and the fluffy perfection? Mmmm.

I came in here really excited to eat crepes at 8:30 ish on 8/6/24. My husband ordered the biscuits & gravy plate, I asked for the danish crepes. When I was ordering, the waiter asked me if I wanted blueberry or the strawberry, peach, blueberry trio. I said the trio which I thought was really nice because I didn’t know I had that option. Food came, both the crepes and biscuits & gravy plates were DELICIOUS. Here comes the bill and we see we were charged 2.29 for each of the three toppings on the danish crepes. Had I known it was extra, I wouldn’t have gotten the trio but the waiter OFFERED and didn’t mention they were considered extra toppings. So my plate of crepes went from $16 to $23. Great food but just can’t believe the waiter would offer something that seemed like an option and then it’s extra? PLUS, If the blueberry was a regular price option, why would you charge that as an additional topping? It should have been only 2 additional toppings. I was ready to come back to eat here again until I saw the bill. I would rather stay away if you’re going to charge me dollars for cents of toppings and not tell me when YOU offered.

The location is now called Queen's Pancakes. The atmosphere is casual albeit the interior feels like it needs bit of remodeling. The service was good. The meal was mid at best. The pancakes was dry despite the toppings. Worth the visit if you're hungry and wanted an affordable breakfast with pancakes.

Casual cozy breakfast cafe located on Chapman across from the Regal Cinema. Busy but not too. Big menu. I had the Senior 55+ Chicken fried steak breakfast- included 1 large pancake, fried egg, hash browns and the CFS with gravy. Very generous portion for a SC. Food was good standard breakfast Service was good. Place looks clean. .

One star for the food, three stars for service. No need to go into major details except that our food was nasty and wasn't worth the amount of money we paid. Got the carnitas avocado omelette. It lacked flavor and the carnitas was cold inside the omelette. The rest of the food was not good at all.

Haven't been here for a while just tried last Saturday I was surprised during lunch time weekend hardly anyone there. When I got my foods I understand why no one there because of their service and food portion got cut off. I ordered my son a cupcake pancake it came out very little seem like they just took portion of the egg from my order to put in my son order. My order supposed to come with 4 sausages but it came only 3. The server knew but he did not do anything about until I complain the he gave 10% off but after I complained. Never again come to this place

My husband and I come every Sunday for breakfast. We love the service here from Osvaldo it's exceptional. Even tho we don't get seated on his section all the time but most of the time we do, The food is good and perfect amount served on each plate. It's not noisy unless there's kids yelling but usually it's good. I think they should have is some music. But other than that it's great! Today we tried the Cafe de olla and it's delish, .

For a comfortable environment and a delicious breakfast that will make your day, this is the place to go. Conveniently located with friendly staff and continuous coffee. We look forward to our next visit with the knowledge that the food is tasty and the service is excellent.

Love coming here over and over again for breakfast! DO NOT SLEEP ON THEIR CREPES YALL! The crepes were perfectly cooked and well paired with the bananas and Nutella. Definitely my favorite when it comes to something sweet for breakfast. I also had eggs and sausage on the side. Service is great, they really care about fitting your needs and are very kind! Environment was clean and gave off a warm welcome. I will continue coming back for breakfast again!

Honestly, I liked the food and the staff was great. They came by, checked on us and the food tasted pretty good. A little worn on the inside but it nothing big. I'll eat here again when I'm back in town.

Lunch was great today, Service was great, Silvia and Jose are awesome , very attentive. Music not loud but good to enjoy and have a good chat. We will be back.

We stumbled on this breakfast place after attempting to go to two other small & crowded places in the area. There was ample parking in the shopping plaza and while the place is not really big, we didn't wait too long to be seated for our party of 4 (last week) and 5 (this past week). The breakfast choices are plentiful. The servings are pretty generous and filling. All of us enjoyed our breakfasts the first week. We decided to go back the following week. The servers are all very nice. The only complaint is that it takes a while to get our orders taken and my waffle took a long time to be served. Pictures are from 2 weeks of dining.

Stop by while driving by... my hubby is diabetic and needed to eat asap. We stopped here. As soon as we walked in, just looks run down my food was cold.... Still ate and try to make the best of it. Them while sitting n waiting for my son and husband finish eating... baby roach come out to play Hell nah byeee!!!! Don't know where these reviews are talking about. Won't be back!!

This place changed the name to Queens Pancakes. We ordered Queen breakfast, fried steak and cobb salad. I am not impressed with pancakes as it overcooked, rest were tasty. Service was great, very attentive to customers. Food came out quickly even it was busy on sun morning.

I wanted to LOVE this place so bad!!!! We have always driven by and wanted to try, so finally we went Saturday 7/22/2023. When you walk in, its like walking into a hole in the wall.... It really needs to be worked on as it just really dirty looking and not very appeasing to the eye. We were sat on the left side of the entrance and there was only 1 other family and a worker eating. We sat down and there were ants on the wall, a little trail of them, but not to worry, we just killed them and went on with our day. We got the following: French Toast Combo - 6/10 Carnitas Omelet - 5/10 Chicken Strips - 7/10 (2) Cheeseburger & Fries - 8/10 It was not that bad, just needs a serious upgrade and deep cleaning around the whole establishment. I did not like that we were seated next to the bathroom as the aroma was killer in the first few minutes. From the kitchen area, the bathroom is right across the hall, so its a bit disturbing for me... Again everyone is different, but that was our major concern.

This place used to be very good. I don't know what has happened. Our last visit was so so. My eggs were not very good. The toast was over toasted. The bacon looked anemic. The service was flat. This past visit will probably be my last. It used to be called "kings" and it was better all the way around. I hope it can find its way back. It also lacks in its atmosphere, just a little boring.

Great local spot .... Not in the best part of town but the service and pancakes were top notch!! Order the chile verde omelet and pancakes and they hit the spot Will totally be at the spot again!!

You can taste the baking powder in the pancakes - yuck! The Banana Carmel French Toast is just cut up bananas with bottled Carmel sauce poured on it - yuck! I do not think the eggs are fresh - yuck! This old IHOP is worst than the original IHOP that was there. No wonder there was only 5 tables (including ours), at lunch time, that were full. I would not reccomend this place. If you can't handle breakfast, can you really handle anything else?

Decided to grab breakfast at this place since my bf and I drive by it almost everyday on the way home. We were going for diner styled food. The inside is much smaller than you think. Expect to wait. He got scrambled eggs. All omelettes come with a side of pancakes which is cool. I got fiesta breakfast burrito. We were both happy with our entrees, nothing spectacular but it wasn't bad! The best part of our experience was that this place partners with Groupon. For $25 I got $40 value for food. Go buy the Groupon, if they still have it, before paying for the meal and save yourself some bucks!

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to give this place a shot but the breakfast burritos were terrible! Who puts a Sandwich cheese on top and inside a burrito I mean honestly the whole burrito was soggy it was Disgusting. Thought the potatoes would be included but they put a sad amount on the side. Just a few pieces of avocado on top. $34 was not worth this.

Bacon florentine amazing. Now serving Mexican food Friday night through Sunday. The birria is fantastic. Service is great. I've been going there for years. Usually 4-5 times a month if not more. Ambiance my home feeling

Kings pancakes is in the old IHOP building. It feels like the old business is operating with a new name. All the decor feels nostalgic and the operations feel the same as I remember. Keep in mind I haven't been the a pancake house in many years, so my recollection can be skewed. The meal was cookie cutter. You pick egg style, served with hash brown square a choice of meat and pancakes. The coffee is good and the price is reasonable. Is it a gem? No is it what you expect from a diner yes and if you are looking for a pancake that is tasty then I recommend. It's nothing fancy and don't expect anything other than your average diner breakfast.

Just okay. They weren't busy on a Sunday at 11:30am, so that should've been the first sign. We had a large party, but they are pretty small inside and don't really have space for a large party, so we were crammed at too small of a table. They had a pretty large variety on the menu, and no one's food was BAD, but no one's was really great either. 10/10 for the service though, they managed the orders well, gave our tables carafes so the coffee never ran dry and were just really attentive overall. Maybe not somewhere I'd seek out for amazing food but if I didn't feel like dealing with the brunch crowds, this is the spot.

Love coming here for their pancakes and omelets ! We always make sure to ask for Osvaldo as he is always so welcoming and just overall a great experience with him.

I hidden gem. I love these mom and pop hole in the wall places. It's older which is completely fine and charming. It reminds me of a country kitchen that you went to growing up. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The real treat was the service. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, listened to all our requests and delivered them perfectly. His attention to detail was noticed and appreciated. We will 100% be back. Thanks Kings!

Very good local and small business. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick it up. No issues- very smooth process. I ordered the Ham Skillet which came with a side of 2 huge pancakes and the Strawberry Banana French Toast. Both items were pretty good, although the French toast could have been separated b/c it was a little on the soggy side. Portions were huge, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. All in all good place for breakfast. Great customer service. Would definitely come back again. Happy eating!

Service was great, guy who took our order was very nice and attentive to our needs. Ambiance is a little dull and sad but it's not bad. Food was pretty good! omelette was actually very tasty. Would definitely come back again once i'm in the area again.

Good and satisfying. My brother and I attended our niece's wedding. We were looking for a breakfast place and discovered the restaurant. I'd return.

No complaints on service, just the fried chicken and waffles. Please don't get this lol. Overcooked, straight bad. The chicken fried steak was decent and so was the blueberry pancakes. So save yourself and skip the fried chicken.

Came in a little late, with the kitchen about to close, but we were greeted and welcomed. Our waiter was exceptional and very attentive. The food was good and presentation was beautiful.

I really miss going here for late breakfasts with my husband. It had become our thing. Since the pandemic we've stayed home, but we do occasionally order out and this is always in our top 5 local breakfast places. Honestly, you can't go wrong with their pancakes, crepes, French toast, or scrambles. It doesn't really matter the time of day, if I'm eating here I'm having breakfast foods. Food is delicious and service is good. They're a lovely local spot to enjoy a nice meal. Support your local businesses!

Bacons were soggy & waffle was burnt, service was average. To be fair I only been here twice & only had breakfast, maybe their lunch or dinner would be better. Definitely not doing breakfast again.

It said it would be opened at 6 am on the maps we went at 6:45 am but it wasn't open yet so we went to shop around at Walmart across the st for a while and once it opened we beat the breakfast rush and service was great food was good not expensive the drinks however .. my husbands coke was flat & the iced coffee wasn't all that but we'll be back the food was good

Based on other reviews, I was prepping myself for an expensive, disappointing Ihop experience. My boyfriend got a Groupon and wanted to try it. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We went in on a weekday night, and there were a couple of tables seated. We got a booth seat quickly and the waiter was nice. We got a veggie scramble without cheese with red potatoes, comes with pancakes/toast. We chose pancakes. I got a side of hash browns. We also got marionberry crepes. The veggie scramble was well done and had ample spinach, pepper, mushrooms. It wasn't seasoned too much but thats why there was the ketchup bottle and hot sauce (they have Tabasco and Cholula). The red potatoes though were seasoned VERY well! They actually were like fried potato wedges with a paprika seasoning. Pancakes were fluffy and moist with some butter on top. Just like Ihop they have the blueberry, strawberry, original syrups. I personally think the flavored syrups are too much, so we only used the original. The hashbrowns were crispy! They were good, and what I hoped for. The crepe was folded into quarters with a berry butter and jam on top. The crepe was thin and smooth. We didn't use all the butter/jam but the flavor was there and perfect after scraping most of it off. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and good value with the Groupon. Without the Groupon, it wouldn't be too bad either. A simple plate with 2 eggs, 2 sausage or bacon, with hash browns and a side of toast/pancakes is less than 8 dollars regularly.

I have been to Kings Pancakes a handful of times because of the Groupon that they had. I must say very good tasting food and good service! Very cute place and the waffles and pancakes, as well as the hashbrowns, are very tasty! Keep promoting on Groupon and ill definitely keep coming back! Nice Jobs King's Pancakes!

I think that if King's, being so inclined, was to add some bounce, some flair, maybe some stylish angles to their menu, we might really have a winner here. Suggestions, though, from customers who've never owned and run a restaurant (like me) may not carry a lot of weight. It's easy, sometimes, to simply be the idea guy, one who then doesn't offer to do any of the leg work. For that, I apologize. However, I like King's fine. I mean, it sits right there upon busy Chapman Blvd., drawing business not only from the neighboring carwash, but from the Regal Cinemas shopping center traffic as well, I'm sure. And you can't miss the place, triangular and tall. Because King's, respectfully, you're like a diminutive Denny's, yet one with a bit more welcome and personality. Since the restaurant is smaller with fewer tables and booths, it's cozier, and that's not a bad thing. You'd expect then that the service would be somewhat more personable than at a larger chain--and it is!--but I don't feel that King's is exercising any creativity. And it should. Otherwise, despite the nice service and pleasant smiles, you're lost in the shuffle.

Rebranded Breakfast Spot is Still Awesome! We used to love this place when it was iHop and just recently returned to try it after the Re-brand. Other iHops never seemed to be as good as this one in the past. Maybe it was just this location that I like. Luckily the menu, staff, food and service are all the same with just a few tweaks. I throughly enjoyed my crepes and my family loved their breakfast too. We used the Groupon special which saved us a few dollars.

Once again , they always seem to amaze me. Their cooks are excellent!!! Their service .. 5 stars!! They only open certain times but are well worth waiting. Love it here ! Car wash is right next door, so we drop our car off and come eat, lol.

DO NOT EAT HERE AT ALL! Ordered to go. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The driest, most disgusting, and bland Philly cheesesteak I've ever had in my life. The cheese was some kind of craft sliced cheese you get from the grocery store. The meat was not even close to anything I've seen on a Philly cheesesteak before! We also ordered the 3-stack pancakes which, my coworker said was very salty. The hash browns were too small for the price and the Coke tasted like chlorine! We also ordered ranch and they gave us blue cheese instead! Save your money AND your time. Food = disgustingly bad and overpriced. Do not go to this place ever!
