The Restaurants & Bars Featured On “Love Is Blind UK”, Ranked - London - The Infatuation

"Friends, family, smashburgers, and knocking a few pins over. It sounds like a nice day out, doesn’t it? And that’s exactly what Demi and Ollie had. A lovely day in Queensway—bowling a few balls and exploring Meatliquor’s generous all-American options (which includes a pretty decent vegan section for Ollie too). It reminds us of birthday parties from childhood: warm, fuzzy, with lots of ketchup. Is this love or is this friendship? TBC. But this fun spot suits both." - rianne shlebak, jake missing

Absolutely worst experience. Booked bowling for three people and waited 20 minutes before a waitress even showed up – and she still didn’t take our order. Had to go to the front desk three times just to get someone to help. Food finally arrived right as our time was up, so we had to leave our seats. On top of that, the toilets and facilities were dirty and poorly maintained. Easily the worst service I’ve experienced.

“An incredible ice skating experience! The rink was spacious, well-maintained, and had a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The coaches were highly skilled, patient, and excellent at guiding skaters of all levels. The facilities were top-notch—clean lockers, comfortable seating, and great lighting. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, this place offers everything you need for an amazing time. A perfect blend of fun, professionalism, and top-quality amenities. Definitely amazing destination for ice skating enthusiasts!”

It was my 5th or 6th time coming. Enjoyed my ice skating session as usual, I have previously used the bowling area too which I also enjoyed. The staff member on the rink was nice and helped out people however the staff who then replaced her was far too busy showing off on the rink skating very fast, where it became tricky to stop the staff member to help if needed. Meat liquor there is good and the burgers are delicious!

Visited QUEENS on a Saturday night with my family. The bowling lanes were great and the kids really enjoyed themselves, but the food side of things was hit and miss. My fries were a bit soggy, though my partner said her chicken was tasty. The staff were friendly, but seemed stretched thin, so we had to wave for attention more than once. Overall, not bad, but also not something I’d rush back to unless I was nearby.

My recent visit to Queens Way Bowling was a mix of strikes and gutters: **Positives:** **Bowling Lanes:** Well-maintained and smooth, making for an enjoyable game. **Atmosphere:** Lively and energetic, perfect for a fun outing with friends and family. **Staff:** Friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience. **Facilities:** Clean and well-organized, with a good range of amenities. **Negatives:** **Food and Drink:** Could use improvement in terms of quality and variety. **Wait Times:** A bit long during peak hours, so best to book in advance. Overall, Queens Way Bowling offers a solid bowling experience with a vibrant atmosphere. Worth a visit, especially if you enjoy a good game and can plan ahead to avoid wait times. 🎳

Really well done to Adrian & Anastasia who made the bowling experience so much better. Looked after my group really well and offered a 10/10 service that you'd only get in a VIP club. Thank you for looking after me. All the best, from Luca.

There was so much hope for this fun experience but a few issues dampened our fun.. The venue is cool and it’s great to have so many activities in 1 space. However… The darts area was freezing cold vs the very hot weather out which means I’ve now got a cold! 🥶 We rang to order a drink and no one ever came during the 1h of our game. Finally, we arrived early for our booking, waited for someone to take us to darts meaning that by the time we finished our 1h slot and came back to reception for our 40mn slot of bowling following, we were told we were late and were going to have to rush our bowling slot as someone had booked after us - the poor time management has meant our bowling slot was super rushed and not enjoyable… I would recommend not booking 1 slot after the other if you want to have a relaxed / fun time.

Google
I had the pleasure of visiting the venue recently and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding level of service. From the moment I arrived, I was met with professionalism, warmth, and a clear attention to detail that made the experience truly memorable. A special mention goes to the manager, Adriano, whose approachable and attentive nature ensured everything ran smoothly. It’s clear that they are deeply committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. And of course, the star of the show—King, incredibly adorable dog—was an absolute delight and added a unique, heartwarming touch to the visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a well-run, friendly, and enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Having visited last week and been satisfied but not impressed, I enjoyed my visit significantly more this time: the staff were attentive and friendly, and visible enough to find if there was a problem. While there still weren't many people in the place (rather expected for midday on a Tuesday!), the vibe was much more pleasant. Perhaps I just caught the staff on an off day last time? Either way, it was a very enjoyable visit. However, I would still absolutely prefer if there were direction signs to the bowling/restaurant/skating that weren't just printed on the floor, given the low lighting makes them hard to read!

Yelp
Do you like ice-skating? QUEENS is London's ONLY Ice Rink and Ten Pin Bowling. Whether you want to learn to ice skate, try your hand at a game of ten pin bowling, enjoy a drink in the bar or sample some of our freshly prepared food the choice is yours. If you are a teenager group or a family looking for an activity on a rainy Sunday, this might be a fun place to go. The good thing about ice rank is that it is indoors and unlike any other place you even can go ice-skating in summer. The equipment all can be hired at the reception. Funny enough I was invited to a birthday to Queens. Even though it is original I did not really enjoy, as we were all grown up girls skating one round after the other. Not to mention this was summer! But pop icon Madonna and Guy Ritchie celebrated their son Rocco's 6th birthday at Queens then I am sure it I good enough for you little ones!

Yelp
Queens is located between Bayswater and Queensway tube, so it is really easy to get to. Hyde park is just up the road so it is a great location attraction a young crowd during the day and mature crowd in the later hours. It is very loud inside, with a overcharging bar, a small ice rink and has quite a few bowling lanes. They also serve burgers and all other types of fast food and that is quite cheap. I use to go there quite often with friends from college, but hadn't been for a long time, till I recently had a wok due there. We had a few drink at the bar, there were five, all having a pint and I recall each round being around £20. We then had a couple a bowling competitions which I lost. Queens is the only bowling facility that I have been to, which allow you to wear your own trainers, I thought that was great, but afterwards blamed my poor performance to the lack of lack and the fact that I was not wearing adequate footwear. I like it here, lots going on, very busy and a great location.

Yelp
Wow, talk about my kind of place! I went here when I went on vacation with my mother and my friend. And boy oh boy did we love it! You got bowling, an arcade, an ice rink, and a karaoke bar, ALL UNDER ONE ROOF! It's so amazing! I've actually never seen a cooler entertainment center than this! It truly is amazing! I did everything! And trust me, I had a blast! If you want to have a good time in London other than sightseeing, this is the one stop place to go to!

Yelp
Great fun for bowling and ice skating with friendly staff. Only let down that I could not get the web site to reserve a lane for me as rejected my cards which were fine and then crashed, so I had to call up and luckily when I told them the problem they let me do it by phone. Do not let this put you off though as it is a great place for children and good for children's parties

Yelp
I think I've been spoilt by skating at Somerset House every winter because this was very poor by comparison. It's small, a bit grotty and the ice is average. Small children and less-able adults were dropping like flies all around us but there were no marshalls visible to assist them back on to their feet. And if you are trying to go for that 'chavvy ice disco' look, you should at least serve gritts and slush puppies! Think I'll just reserve my skating for November-January at Somerset House from now on.

Yelp
Bowling was great and reasonably priced, however our experience playing Pong was terrible. Apparently the beer doesn't come with the "beer pong" booking?? Staff were ok but didn't explain rules well. Bought two pints at the bar for 9£ but apparently 2 pints of beer for pong cost 14£... not sure how this make sense. Overall bowling was awesome but beer pong was very overpriced and somewhat ruined the experience.

Yelp
Quite a tacky place with neon flashing lights, arcade music blaring, and the air is sweet and sickly smelling from the array of food they produce. But that all adds to the fun. You can go ten pin bowling, whilst having a drink, or having a bite to eat. There is a video games and amusement area, ice-skating, and a new karaoke section where you can hire out private karaoke rooms which holds 12 to 20 people. I have only tried the ice-skating in their all year round rink. It's fun only if you're in the mood for it, and if you're with good company. Otherwise the mass of kids, almost irritating music and loud atmosphere can be all too much to handle.

Yelp
Fun and different idea for birthdaysplus you can drink at the lanes, so it can make for a funny evening! Had my best friend's bday here and about 16 of us shared 2 lanes. Really close to Queensway tube and loads of restaurants and bar pre or post-bowl. Drinks prices are reasonable and there's lounges for when you aren't bowling and sports screens if you are a party pooper. Popular with families too. Tip: Make sure you book lanes in advance, and try to remember to bring flat shoes, otherwise you will have to pay to hire their un-sexy bowling shoes!

Yelp
This is an excellent complex for kids and adults alike. It offers Bowling and Ice skating primarily but also has Pool tables, a restaurant and an arcade available. The Ice Skating rink is fairly large for central london and the prices are very competitive. There is of course a place to hire all the essentials. On the weekend this place really fills up, especially the bowling alleys. It can also be extremely noisy with the loud music and screaming children merging into one. Try it on a school night though if you want to enjoy a quieter night.

Yelp
Good when you are 17 and drunk, otherwise avoid. My friend once threw a bowling ball into the screen there, that was worth 5 stars. For this place only three, get rid of the chavs, make it feel safer and I'm all over it.

Yelp
Every time I go into Queens It is a hub of activity. With families and friends bowling, gaming, skating, eating..... The Noise can be overwhelming but the atmosphere is undeniably entertaining and ideally suited to children and adults alike. I never get board of ice skating so its always with a big smile on my face that I wrench on my ice skates and show my skill. Queens is the easiest to get to, the best priced and also provides something to so when you are waiting. Good honest fun. Check it out if your without an activity to entertain the family

Yelp
Having an ice-skating rink, bowling lanes, pool tables, arcade games and a bar all in one location makes for a sure-fire recipe of fun. However, it falls somewhat into the trap of having so many options that it cannot sustain quality in serving up each and every one of them. I have not tried skating here but I can tell you that it looks like a small ice-hockey arena; boarded up on the sides and plain white with rounded edges (and FYI: they do have penguins to hold onto for beginners). The bowling lanes are quite narrow with limited seating and my lane (lane number 1) got stuck 3 times in 2 games which was rather frustrating. The pool tables require reserving and putting down a deposit which on the one hand may be good as you don't have to queue against or ask the people already playing but on the other hand is a little annoying as you have to queue at the bowling counter both to reserve and to pick up the cues; plus the pool tables are the British-style smaller ones with non-numbered balls. I did not try the arcade games but there seems to be a good selection. The bar is quite easy-going and not crowded for a bar, but the TV screens aren't great quality as it was noticeably difficult to see the score and the football in the match that was playing. Nevertheless, all in all Queens Ice and Bowl is good to have around; just feels a little slap-dash in places.

Qype User (Larry…)

Yelp
Really scruffy and depressing. BUT there aren't many permanent ice rinks in Central London so As with all ice rinks it is overcrowded with crazy kids and kamikaze teens but if you can sneak off in the middle of a school day it's always fun to skate.

Yelp
This is a place with many option to have fun. Bowling, skating, arcade games, food. The service was very good and the prices are considerable.

Yelp
Queens ice and bowl is located within 100 metres of queensway central line tube station and is less than 10 mins from central london by tube I am not the best bowler but it is great fun! We had a staff night out here and the turn-out was excellent, which definitely helped make the night more enjoyable. If you are considering a staff party, or even a childrens party, have a look at the website, as there are a number of deals available at a reasonable price. Some deals involve a game of bowling, ice-skating, food and even food and drink. I believe this type of deal for a kids party is amazing, as you are able to budget for the event with the certainty that this is the amount of money it will cost. The ice-skating rink is a nice change of scenery but I would not advise anyone to use it after a few beers It is hard enough to keep one's balance when sober, but after a drink, wow, all I can say is good luck!

Yelp
Food isn't the best here, although who goes to a bowling alley for the food?? Great array of activities, and Mario kart arcades!!

Yelp
I haven't been onto an ice rink since I was about 7 years old and bravely accepted an invitation to go ice-skating for a friend's leaving do. It is so much harder than it looks! This venue is bright and fun with bowling lanes and a bar as you first enter and then at the back is the rink with a disco at weekends. We had a real giggle and there were a few in the group that turned out to be closet skating experts. If you are a beginner you can happily cling to the barrier and shuffle round like I did. Unfortunately there are a few who speed round the outside/inside skating backwards and putting the rest of us to shame but the stewards there make sure evrything is safe. A fun and alternative night out in London.

Yelp
This a great place to take the family, there is lots to do and the kids will never get bored. If anything spoilt for choice. Ice skating disco is fantastic and the whole place has a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Mark C.

Yelp
This place is certainly a bit cheesy and not nearly as posh as some of the other places to bowl in London. Then again, bowling isn't really meant to be a posh activity, so this is a great place to go for Pitchers of beer and bowling. They also have a pretty decent video arcade and a minature ice skating rink. Never tried that out, but looks great for birthday parties!

Qype User (james1…)

Yelp
Although it seems to be located in a bowling alley, this is actually a proper Japanese-style karaoke place. Usually karaoke in Britain is done in pubs in front of strangers. In Japan it is much more common to rent a room for an hour or so and do karaoke with just your friends; It's less embarrassing and much more fun. We had a brilliant time doing karaoke at Queens and they had almost all the songs that we wanted.

Yelp
Me and boyfriend went here on Sunday evening hoping to have an hour or so of bowling. First of all it was expensive compared other much nicer bowling lanes in London, normally you get some kind of discount of you play 2 games but not here. Anyway we started bowling and there was lots of issues with out lane, it wiped out my score etc (annoying when u got a 9, lol). After our first game we couldn't start a second game although we payed for it. My BF went up to ask what was going on and on the receipt it said £14 however my BF had given them £28 in cash but obv wasn't put in the till. . . As we had just taken cash out before we went there and not spent any other money we quickly realised we had been charged for 2 games. The girl working couldn't let us play our second game so we payed for it again !!!!!!!!! They moved us to another lane as the one we first used was taken by someone else, the shoes were so old and worn out it was dead slippery on the floor which results in not very good nor enjoyable bowling. The place had no character to it and smelt a bit funny tho. Never going back there again and wouldn't recommend anyone else too either. They had a bouncer at the door at 5 oclock in the afternoon.. Think that says it all. very disappointed and our nice bowling evening was just a disaster. With the amount of SUPER nice places there are to go bowling in London I see no reason in going here, unless you like getting robbed of course.

Yelp
This is the worst experience I've had in my entire LIFE!!!! We were 5, we went there on 1st nov 2013 at around 6:00pm. Paid then started playing. We put our bags right next to us and after 15min of playing one bag was GONE! Management was not cooperative at all to call the police nor to show us pics on the camera that was right above our heads. !st the cashier said noone was allowed to vision thefilm apart rom the police. They did not call the police when asked several times, then they told us to call them ourselves...(we're French we don't even know what the number would be) They said after 20 minutes of waiting and anguishing (all our passports, credit cards, money, keys ...etc were inside that bag) that the angle was not right and that they could not vision the film. When we threatenend to sue them, all of a sudden they accepted to show us the film which clearly showed that the people next to us had stolen our bag. We asked them for the French embassy number and the answer was: "surf yourself to the number..." Eventually when i complained to the police that these people were not cooperating and that something was fishy (we suspected they were involved), magically the bag reappered between the game machines with everything inside. THIS IS a TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO TO..DON'T EVER SET FOOT THERE!! N"Y ALLEZ PA!!! VOUS ALLEZ VS FAIRE ENTUBER D"UNE FACON OU D"UNE AUTRE. We said we were going to open a file against them but didn't have time to go to a police station and were too happy and relieved to go back home with our passports...All neighboring shops told us that this kind of felony was happening EVERYDAY in that place!!! Don't use your LONDON PASS to go there, pick another destination!!!!!

Yelp
very dissapointed, there was only one member of staff that seemed to be doing everything, she was the receptionist and the skate hire person and later on she served us in the bar. the whole place looks very run down and in need of a good clean, and the food was not very appetising at all, it looked old and not much choice so we gave it a miss. the bar was very expensive and the place was completely empty apart from a few people on the ice rink. i am trying to think of something positive to say, but i cant.
