"While the Panic bakery next door brings artisanal bread into focus, the Queseria is all about artisanal cheeses from Spain and beyond. In their vast and heavenly vault you'll find a surprising variety of national cheeses across the spectrum, along with the very best of the rest of Europe. The shop is the work of three pioneering cheese producers coming together to raise awareness of their craft in Madrid. Not only do they bring rare regional varieties here, they also teach classes on everything from cheese-making to photography."

Great selection of cheeses, but they are all very expensive. Also the guy behind the counter seems bothered and not very friendly by our questions. The house wine is average, seems overpriced to a €10+ bottle. The picos were great tho.

If the stars align and you like cheese and happen to be in the neighborhood, stop in for a treat. It doesn’t matter which you choose, there is no wrong answer. Update: the gentleman who helped us was lovely. He was friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy. Yes, the tastes are small, but sufficient to make a decision. The prices were very reasonable and for some cheeses he was able to cut the pieces to any size we wanted. Others only came only in whole or half cheese sizes.

Very helpful staff, and excellent variety of cheeses. My husband and I wanted to do our own sort of picnic lunch - and this was the perfect place to get incredible cheeses to pair with our bread from “Panic”

Not the cheap stuff. So much good choice. The man knows about his cheese

Very very friendly staff that are willing to take the time to teach you about Spanish cheese and provide all the tastings along with it for free. The cheese here is distinctively good at great value, I couldn’t help but buy some to snack on later

The best cheese shop I ever met. Good variety of cheeses (from Spain and EU mostly). Unique ones and very delicious! Some of them you'll never find at other places.

I had heard great things about this cheese shop so I walked over one afternoon to purchase a variety of cheeses. They have a great variety of cheeses that can’t be found at your local supermarket. I asked for several recommendations and all 3 were very good, all three of them very different and interesting. Their pricing is above average, but so are the cheeses, so really pricing is on par with anyone else. My only gripe is they were not able to give me quite as small of pieces as I would have liked to have a sampler of many cheeses, but some of them were hard to cut small as they were very tall wheels. I expected a slightly more lively store with more variety of wines and cheese samples. I would recommend they sell cheese boards to go, so people could sample maybe 8 of their cheeses to take home. Something like a board with 8 x 50g of cheese would have been ideal to come back and know what to buy in greater quantity.
