"Qui plume la Lune is welcoming, picturesque and romantic. Bare stone walls and natural materials (untreated wood, twigs and branches, etc) set the poetic scene and one of the walls bears a quote from William Faulkner: “We ran out into the moonlight toward the kitchen.” This temple of culinary delicacies is the dedicated work of a team determined to select only the very best produce, in line with a clear environmental ethic, hence the premium organic vegetables. Diners are invited to sample dishes that are a masterclass of expertise and precision, overflowing with vitality, fresh ingredients and flavours. A feast of culinary delights guaranteed to lift your spirits awaits all who enter this sanctuary of good food." - Michelin Inspector

This 2025 Michelin restaurant is a hidden gem. I hate to even post this giving away my secret restaurant. Every component of this establishment is executed to perfection. From the ambience, the service and of course the cuisine. The juxtaposition of flavors whether it be the amuse buche, appetizers or entrees are not to be missed. Each plating shows sophistication yet understated. The service is anticipatory without being intrusive. The lunch menu is of tremendous value not to be missed.

Wonderful meal. Food was delicious, creative and beautifully presented. Service was flawless. They also accommodated some unusual dietary restrictions with graciousness. Highly recommended.

Had dinner with a friend in April 2025 and the experience was very, very disappointing. We paid €170+ each for a 6-course dinner (€150 + drinks) and expected really good food at least however this was not the case. One of my dishes even came with PLASTIC... The first appetizer that came out was interesting and delicious, however the second - the raw fish that looked amazing at first - was dry and flavourless - "seasoned with salt," the host explained. The third was the asparagus and I have to say, I do not know whether I was more shocked by the piece of PLASTIC that found its way into the dish or the immense lack of any depth of flavour.. I realised I did not take a picture of the plastic, maybe as I was too shocked. Later the host explained that this was an accidentally cut piece from the piping bag which is actually rather understandable, however all we were given to remedy this shock was a tiny free cheese platter. We still ended up paying the full €170+ each. A fish main course followed and my guess is it was the same raw fish but cooked this time. Why serve the same meat twice? Again it tasted like it was boiled only with salt, lacking any other flavour, and was served with slimy peas. My friend did not like both the texture of the fish or peas so much that she did not eat it. I have to say that the duck course was extremely delicious, tender and had a deep, satisfying flavour. The desserts course was excellent. The ambianced was a relaxed, intimate setting, nothing special but still lovely nonetheless. All in all however, for that price, I would definitely not recommend the experience that this restaurant offers. As a whole, besides the delicious duck course and desserts, the experience was very sub-standard for Michelin: shocking lack of flavour in many of the dishes, very long waits between some of the courses, the plastic that ended up in my food, an insufficient apology, and the fact that one the waiters could not explain our dishes well in English - giving up halfway at one attempt - (surprising as even staff at small cafes during our few days-trip to Paris trip spoke enough English) and had long, dirty nails.

Qui plume la lune was my first experience in a Michelin Star restaurant, and what a memorable experience it was. Food: We had a three course lunch, and every dish had something completely new that I hadn't tried before, be it an ingredient itself or the combination of it. Especially, the dessert was phenominal as well as the plating. However, the coffee we ordered for dessert wasn't great. It tasted fairly burnt and bitter. Doesn't take away anything from the good experience overall, but I would expect a better coffee in such a place. We paid 70€ per person, and it was absolutely worth it. Certainly, it is a culinary experience that's worth saving money for or to have on your bucket list. Service & ambient: The service was impeccable throughout the lunch. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and incredibly attentive. The restaurant is fairly small and gives you a very private and cozy feel. The interior is on the darker side but with a good amount of light and colorful spots of bright colors, which give it a great contrast.

We recently dined at Qui Plume la Lune and were served the 5 course (Angela) dinner with wine pairings which lasted just over 3.5 hours. Service throughout was professional, at times there were long lapses in between courses. However everything served on the evening was excellent. Most enjoyed on the evening were the cold soup (starter), lamb (main) and cheese selection. Staff explained dishes and wines in good detail, execution in the kitchen was in perfect form on the evening. All in all, this was a lovely dining experience. Very impressed on the evening and would gladly reserve for another meal at Qui Plume La Lune during future trips to Paris.

An unforgettable experience at Qui Plume la Lune! 🍽️ One of the finest French restaurants I've ever visited! Each dish is presented as a work of art—balanced flavors and creativity is present in every bite. 🌟 The service is impeccable, and the staff is professional and treats you with taste and respect. 🕯️ The restaurant's atmosphere is calm and luxurious, perfect for a sophisticated and special dinner. 🥂 It truly deserves every star; an exceptional experience from entrance to farewell. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious French experience in every detail. 🇫🇷✨ ⸻

I had menu Theodore (49 euro, a 3 course meal). In my opinion, it was a great value for its price (the portion was quite big too). All the dishes, especially the appetizer, were exquisite and intriguing. The servers were attentive but did not provide sufficient information about dishes such as what order I should be eating and the ingredients.

Food: Every dish was technically perfectly executed, especially the meat and fish dishes. They offered a few classic and a few innovative and more experimental pairings. The classic pairings were done well, while the latter were sometimes a bit too bold - the dishes didn't feel harmonious and for 1-2 dishes even not enjoyable. Service: Friendly but needs improvement. They forgot to offer us the wine pairing option even though we asked about it and later said that it was too late to take it and offered individual glasses instead. They weren't that attentive overall. Atmosphere: Interior design is elaborate, while too dark for my personal taste (especially over lunch on a sunny weekend). Food presentation was done very well.

Yelp
My partner got food poisoning from Qui Plume La Lune. She was vomiting all night and ~12 hours later is still very sick. We ordered the Lucy menu (5-course tasting). When I emailed the restaurant to inform them of what happened, they were dismissive. They asked for "proof" of her food poisoning (see my second photo below) and refused to offer us a partial refund. We were so excited about this dining experience, as it had come as a personal recommendation from a friend. I am extremely disappointed that this happened, and even more so how they have handled my complaint. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone and am still in disbelief that my partner's food poisoning came from a Michelin star restaurant.

Yelp
I felt it was necessary to try a Michelin starred restaurant while in Paris. I am a tourist, so I had no idea where to start, so I looked at the website and this is the one that seemed most appealing from food aesthetics and flavors presented, as well as not ridiculously priced. They also had the ability to reserve online which was a huge bonus. We opted for the 4 course option as the 5 courses just seemed like too much. We did not do the wine pairings. EXPERIENCE We arrived right on time, and we were the fist people at the restaurant. They took our coats and seated us promptly. I think they could tell that we were not used to this tier of dinning and were very patient with us. I feel there were times when we were doing things improperly, but they were still very patient with us and we did not feel embarrassed at any point. The waiters spoke to us in English, I feel the dishes were not described as in detail as the French explanations we overheard seemed much longer. However, they were patient as I asked questions and wanted to learn more about the dishes. They would wait until you were fully done with a dish, and I would be very thorough in completing my food. There was no sense of rush, we were there for almost 2.5 hours. I did my best to note down the dishes and the details they mentioned. I didn't do the wine pairings, I just was given a wine recommendation from the sommelier, it was a white wine but did not catch the region it was from. FOOD Canales: (6/5) Half boiled egg and yogurt with honey. (5/5) Mousse tartlet. (4/5) Oyster leaf with vinegar gel. (5/5) Bread and butter infused with lemon and pepper. First Course: (5/5) Scallop. Roasted. Cauliflower cream. Dashi gel. Second Course: (6/5) Red mullet fish. Grilled. Watercress reduction. Turnip. Some mushroom. Red sauce. Third Course: (6/5) Red Cabbage. Cacao. Porto glaze. Pistachio Hollindaise on the side. Fourth Course: (5/5) Venison (deer). Smoked beet condiment. Roasted romanesco. Parsnip purée. Dessert: (4/5) Chocolate and coffee candy. (5/5) Almond Pistachio and Pear pastry. (5/5) Turnip puree with coconut ice cream. Apricot compote. (5/5) Chocolate Mushroom cracker with cream. OVERVIEW Extremely enjoyable experience. They were very patient and kind, especially for not being used to this kind of fine dinning and speaking English. Great beginner Michelin star restaurant experience. The food was plated very beautifully. The flavors were unique and I had never experienced before. It still tasted good, it was not just beautiful or unique. I felt a lot of depth in flavors, like as you bit in and ate, your mouth would go through and sense different elements of the dish. Not just flavors, but scents and textures as well. The price was really good, it came out to be about €100 per person, which seem like really good value for 4 courses. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Yelp
Great service, options for prix fixés, creative plating and excellent wine pairings in an intimate space with ambiance. English speaking sommeliers and servers. Might not be family friendly since the meal courses of 5-6 plates takes hours and some of them looked quite bored. There's an add-on option for cheese plate which comes with a side before dessert. Book in advance and bon appétit!

Yelp
The food was outstanding along with the service. Extensive wine list and worth a visit.

Yelp
A Michelin Star Restaurant where Art doesn't trump the flavors. The only reason this place is not reviewed more is probably American tourists haven't discovered the place just yet. The place is pretty quite and intimate. This place lives up to the reputation of Michelin star restaurant from its service to the flavors of dishes. Those who have had a good share dining experience in Michelin star restaurants and familiar with the style will find the restaurant truly staying close to what food should be but with a creative interpretation. Art doesn't trump the favors here! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.

Yelp
What a beautiful experience we had at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. The service was stellar, and the fixed menu ($250 each person) was absolutely worth the price. In arranging the reservations (overseas) and with pre-payment for the meal, everything went smoothly and the communication was clear, even with the language difference. The service was so attentive and they clearly take it seriously to make the night memorable for you. I very much appreciate being able to eat innovative food in a beautiful surrounding, and feel well cared for, without breaking the bank. Highly recommend.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience. I was very hesitant to do a tasting menu in Paris, because I can be a bit picky when it comes to certain foods. However, what I found was an absolute treat. The staff was so polite and worked so very hard to make our experience as nice as possible. They really took care of us and carefully translated everything into English for us. They were really fantastic young men. And now the food! I think we had like 7 courses, and each one was better than the last! Such inventive ideas! The first course was served inside an egg shell! How cool is that?! They were nicely spaced out as to not overwhelm us, and they really all worked together and were very complementary. I even ate pancreas! Me eating pancreas!? Wow! The dessert was what sent this over the top for me. Beautifully thought-out treats with some hazelnut, cream, and more. Yum is the only word. Add some delicious wine that the sommelier recommended and you have the perfect night. Chef Jacky Ribault knows his cuisine. Delightful experience. Thank you to all who work at Qui Plume La Lune!

Yelp
An extremely unique experience and a welcome change from traditional Parisian cuisine. each dish was an amazing highlight of fish and the natural flavours that didn't need too many fancy extras. we did the wine pairing which was very nice and felt very thought out. we went during the week and it Was quiet for about an hour we were the only people in the whole restaurant.

Yelp
My other half found this restaurant in his quest for eating at a Michelin star restaurant, and oh what a treat! Qui Plume la Lune is a sliver of a footprint tucked away in the busy streets of Paris. I dined on a Saturday evening, and so it was a fixed price: €120 per person for a five-course meal and dessert. This does not include any drinks, taxes, or gratuity. I must say that the food itself was about a four-star for me, and I don't really enjoy seafood or over-the-top fusions very often. However, what made this a five star experience was: 1. They accommodated us 30 minutes before our scheduled reservation (7:00pm instead of 7:30) 2. Their passion for the food -- it shows in their willingness to explain dishes (even in English) and each ingredient. 3. Accommodations for food preferences/allergies: skip the milks for me, please! 4. The uniqueness of the dining experience, in total. Despite the intimacy of the restaurant, it is ok to go casual dressy. My plus one wore a collared shirt, sweater, and jeans while I rocked a collared gingham flannel shirt, leggings, and riding boots. (Mind you, this is just after Christmas when it is cold!) I would actually come here again despite the fact that I didn't really like key ingredients of most of the dishes. (To be fair, I'm an incredible picky and sensitive eater that doesn't like mushrooms, bell peppers, milks, seafood...) Each night the menu is different, and so it's hard to make a blanket statement like "no seafood" here. Still, there's something enjoyable in sitting down to learn about something different, and this was a cool place to do it.

Yelp
Delicious fusion food and fantastic service! Recommend the Four dish set menu. After spending 3 months working in Paris, this is still the best dining experience we have had. Avid fusion lovers, we discovered the restaurant on Paris by Mouth and upon our arrival were seated in a small sandstone alcove decorated with driftwood and antiques. We had the 5 course tasting menu, highlighted by a white fish in creme broth and foie gras sushi. The wine parings included a sampling of whites and reds from various regions around France, and complemented the dishes superbly. The service was attentive but not overbearing, the dishes were well spaced with adequate time for intimate conversation. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is a great little restaurant, well deserving of it's Michelin star. You choose 4 or 5 courses and can opt to have wines to match. You get what the chef gives you (food intolerances and allergies excepted). But as we were told, no matter which one you choose, you get the same amount of food. The main difference between the 4 & 5 is the 5 course option offers a cheese platter and dessert, while the 4 one is either or. I was here with my wife for your anniversary. We opted for the 5 courses with wines. Everything was excellent. There's no point in describing the dishes, as they probably will never be repeated. That said however, one dish came with a daikon broth that was poured overtop as the lid was removed from the small glass bowl, and OMG it was pure heaven. In terms of dessert, there were 3. After eating what I will call the main dessert, a palate cleanser kind of one was brought out. Only it was not a small palate cleanser, but a full bowl. As full as we were we devoured those. That has to be it we thought. But wait, there's more! Now the petit fours were delivered. A very nice way to end a great meal. Service was prompt, discreet and very courteous. All dishes were explained and so were the wines as to why they were picked to match the dish. We arrived at 7:30 and left at 11:30. It was a wonderful evening through and through.

Yelp
It might be more than we usually spend eating out but we found it well worth it and an entirely enjoyable and memorable experience. It was, in fact, up there with some Michelin star restaurants we've eating in but considerably less expensive. On that I give it "excellent value for money" points. Against my better judgement a friend convinced us all to up to the 5 course 75euros menu instead of the 3 course 60euros menu, the logic being that, you receive the same quantity of food not matter what menu but this way you have more variety, and right he was. With the amuse bouche and other tasty ditties in between it end up being about 7 courses anyway. All the courses were skillfully prepared. We started with a tasty, creamy fish soup to get the appetite going. The crisp, soft shell crab on a celeriac puree was a treat as were the following prawns. Roast pigeon with some crisp vegetables were perfect. The piece de resistance was the foi gras, glazed with a sweet Japanese sauce - kind of teriyaki, on top of an apricot maki, was truly excellent. Dessert was an enormous barbe de papa (candy cotton) hiding a short bread biscuit with fruit on it. You had to let the candy melt into the fruit and biscuit to sugar an otherwise sugarless treat. Original and very good. Courses came a little too quickly (we had to ask for a pause) but better that than too slow. Don't go ordering wine like Sancerre off the wine menu (happened before we arrived). It was excellent but cost plenty. This should be a standard whenever ordering wine, anywhere. I should point out that we weren't sneakily up-sold, these guys have too much integrity for that, it was simply the only Sancerre they had. There was a good range of well priced wines, on the list. The place is small and cozy with some pretty funky decor and the service friendly and informative. They are really passionate about what they're doing. Highly recommended.

Yelp
One of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. I don't want to say too much about it because it was such a surprising moment that I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone else.

Yelp
Had a terrific meal here. At first I was a bit intimidated by the "chef's choice" and some of the courses sounded daunting (poached oyster with Japanese ravioli as an example) but everything was intriguingly delicious, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere quite relaxed. A thoroughly enjoyable meal all around.
