The restaurant is in nsperville downtown prime. The band 80s was good and keeping good momentum. Although crowded but manageable. They have a cigar room too.

Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.

Google
Really enjoyable night out. Great service & atmosphere. We had a table by the fireplace & they seem to have fireplaces in wach room. Lively but not loud. Burgers were delish!!

Michael Landen

Google
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I'll happily come back here.

Google
What a gem! Quigleys is everything you want in an Irish pub—warm, welcoming, and full of character. The atmosphere was lively but cozy, with just the right mix of music, conversation, and that unmistakable Irish charm

Google
We debated if we should sit outside on the cute patio or go inside and sit at the bar. This time we were just here for drinks so we chose inside and chatted with Steve. He took great care of us…recommended a whiskey we loved and answered our questions. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area…and we’ll plan to eat too!

Google
Great place to dine and hang out in Naperville . Friendly staff knows how to serve a lively, hungry and thirsty crowd. Their giant 14” pretzel is a treat. Live music by Infunktious Band is second to none. Open late.

Mary Mak

Google
A pretty disappointing meal. My dining partner and I both had salads and there was a pretty big quality difference, although they both had unripe fruit. The Guinness, however, was perfectly poured and the chicken dishes looked pretty good. The patio area was nice and there were lots of dogs.

Yelp
My review is based on going here the day before St. patty's Day and then again on St. patty's day. This is an Irish bar in the purest form. I loved this place, the food, the people, the wait staff, what an enjoyable place. We've only been in Naperville for 3 years and I can't see why we weren't here 3 years ago but better late than never. I expected that because of this weekend the staff and the food would be not on top of their game. I was so wrong, the staff were excellent, the food, brought out quick, it was hot and damn good. There were 10 of us, so we ordered a bit of everything and all of it was super. I personally had Shepherds pie and it was delicious, so tasty. I liked it so much, I ordered it the next day, same thing, not disappointed. I look forward to returning. Of course they had plenty of good beer choices.

Yelp
A classic Irish pub with a lot of charm. Lots of dark wood interior and stained glass. Brian the bartender was very good with us. Attentive and friendly, and yes a bit of a curmudgeon haha we enjoyed our time here. Had a few good laughs, a fun place. I had a nice dry Sauv blanc wine and my friends got their Irish beer. They had a band and often have live entertainment. I love the decor. Can't speak about the food as we had dined at another restaurant before arriving here. It's a nice place to chill with a cold drink.

Yelp
I built my own cheese burger, with grilled onions and mushrooms and american cheese. A good cheeseburger and coleslaw, nothing mind blowing and my friend really like his sandwich and I guess chips i. the english style, here is a pict of his left over Ruben!

Yelp
Delicious, fun & great atmosphere. We headed over on a rainy Friday night about 6 pm and found a table in the back - actually very nice for the three of us as it was quieter than in bar area and we could chat. Service was excellent & food even better! We LOVED the bbq boneless wings - the sauce is excellent and it was perfect for the 3 of us. Entrees: bbq chicken wrap (perfect), fish & chips (destroyed) and prime rib sand (actually thin sliced French dip w mozzarella cheese served on a delicious toasted roll. Did I forget the beer? I Carlsberg & this is one of the few places I. Town that has it on draft. Also really appreciate the local ownership. Fun, friendly & fantastic!!

Yelp
I like this place. The classic Irish pub interior is amazing. It's warm. The staff is good. They have live music sometimes, and I've always liked the burgers and fish and chips. This night I had the Reuben rolls (always great) and a turkey Reuben. That was a mistake. Not a good sandwich. If you are going for the Reuben, stick with the corned beef. The turkey was bland, and the cole slaw didn't help. Bland on bland on rye. I did enjoy the Irish chips and Reuben rolls a lot.

Yelp
love this place! dog friendly outside and excellent service. the rueben rolls are always on point and the sandwiches are always the perfect paring with a beer or two.

Yelp
Another small pub in Naperville. Not much sets it apart from the others. Has decent pub food. I had the bbq boneless chicken wings. Also had a blue moon beer. Our waitress was very quick and friendly. The bathrooms were actually really nice. Seemed crowded and it's a very popular local place.

Yelp
Met up with a group last night for Trivia after a long day of work - about 8PM. The place was packed and the group I was with had stated they had been waiting a while for their server to come around to take more drink orders. Asked my boyfriend to come up to the bar with me so he could get another drink that way, and I was very thirsty and just wanted a glass of water and to order some food. Bartender couldn't be bothered by this. Being in the industry (bartender myself), I know how things work. I know I'm "supposed" to order through my server. But when the place is packed and my server isn't coming around and the bar is open, there should be no problem with placing an order through the bar. Instead we were met with attitude over this. Ordered our beer and water and asked if we could put in food with the bar. Mind you I was happy to pay for it all with the bar and wait there. Was told to do it through our server, boyfriend was handed his beer and no water for me. We waited a few moments thinking the bartender was getting to it. She walks back by, looks at us and says, "you can go back there now" pointing in the direction of our table. Excuse me? I simply said "I'm just waiting for my water please" and was met with wide eyes and a clear face of annoyance. I'm not sure why this small interaction called for the attitude we received back but it was uncalled for. If you're gonna roll your eyes and have a stink face for doing simple parts of your job, maybe don't do it in front of the customer. Been here plenty of other times and had fine experiences. This just wasn't one.

Yelp
I really like this place. I like being in there. A real pub in my view. Good beer selection and great service. I went there with a friend for lunch and left a bit disappointed. Music was great. Service was great. Beer was great. Food was not so great with the exception of the potato leek soup which was great. We both had fish and chips with an order of soda bread. The fish was obviously food service frozen cod wedge or tail section filets. They were crispy hard and flat. Tasteless really. Looked over fried. You would think a pub like this would have their own beer batter coating for nice pieces of cod. Instead it was something Cracker Barrel would serve. The soda bread was a disappointment too. I've had it here before and it was great then. This time I think it was day old that they put in the refrigerator overnight because they served it toasted. No one toasts fresh soda bread. Maybe they put it on the flat top to refresh it but there were browned areas where it got too toasted. Will I go back? Probably. They have real potential. They've been there a long time. Just serve fresh food and the business will continue to succeed.

Yelp
Wow! What a true Irish pub! The bar seating is the same as you'd find in Dublin with the wood separating every few seats for some "private " conversations! Lamb Stew was PERFECTION! I can't even explain the flavors, just YUM! Outside patio area was just what the doctor ordered with the sun shining!
google avatar

Yelp
Was visiting from out of town and this place was recommended. It looks and feels like you hope an Irish pub would: the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, all the staff is friendly and attentive--even when busy. Prices are excellent. If I were local I would be stopping by all the time! I highly recommend!

Yelp
Management is beyond rude. Staff could care less about you as a customer. Service is terrible.

Jean N.

Yelp
I had a luncheon here and everything was phenomenal: All the staff, the food, the service. Patrick was a great server, kept the food and drinks coming , was very accommodating, attentive and patient with us. Heard A LOT of compliments on the food. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Decent selection of beer and food. I shared the sliders and they were pretty tasty. We were able to get our party of 8 in the back of the restaurant. Good vibes.

Bryan N.

Yelp
Took by wife to Quigley's for St.Pats day for some Irish food. Well she ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the corn beef sandwich. Being irish that was the worst corn been sandwich. It was more of like it was processed. Not sure what the hell that was ?? My wife's fish and chips not good either. If you what really true authentic Irish food go to Ballydoyle in Downs Grove. Also side note we walked to boutique on Washington st. We described what we just had and how bad the food was. There comment " oh no do not eat there for Irish food they are not good at all.

Yelp
Stop serving fake meat. If you continue to do it at least warn your customers. The chicken on my salad today was rubbery and totally prefab. My husband's corn beef was like a meat texture stamped yoga mat. Gross. His stomach has been off since he ate that garbage.

Abigail D.

Yelp
Have visited this restaurant many times and have never experienced such poor service from staff. Our server Braeda had an attitude from the moment we sat down and seemed to be annoyed by our presence. A simple request like water and condiments for the table seemed to be a huge inconvenience to her. It's such a cute bar, it's sad when businesses are are ruined by wait staff that clearly hate their job and don't belong in customer service.

Yelp
Food was very good and service excellent. Great lunch outdoors! Outside seating is shaded and cozy. Lovely way to dine when weather cooperates.
google avatar

John Z.

Yelp
Good food, good beer, good atmosphere. -1 star because of every table having a dog outside, despite some tables saying no dogs. Some people are allergic ya know!?
google avatar

Yelp
Well, my parents love the fish and chips special on Tuesday nights, so we do come here frequently. If you can get a seat in a side room you avoid a lot of noise from the bar area. The food is generally good. Since there's no hostess it sometimes takes the waiters a while to notice that someone new has sat down. Something interesting is that they coordinate trips to Ireland/Scotland seemingly every year (see the photos in the side room); we talked to a few people last time who were planning the next one!

Yelp
We visited Quigley's on a Sunday for lunch. It was CRAZY! The bartender told us that they get busy for brunch and as luck would have it, Santa was there for the kids. Since there were no tables available, we grabbed the only stools at the bar, which were near the door. They do have a double door, but many patrons stood there with the door open telling others to hurry up. Brrr!! We had some great food and drinks. I had the Southwest Chicken Bowl (Gluten Free) which was very tasty! I didn't want the ranch dressing and hoped to get some salsa instead, but they don't have salsa, so I did without. I hoped to score a GF beer, but they didn't have those and I wasn't up for a cider. Hubby and his friend had the Reuben sandwiches. They were in a Reuben mood as they also got the dip as an appetizer and were happy with their choices. We were there for awhile and the bartender paid lots of attention to us. I had hoped we could move away from the door after Santa left (I just don't like wearing my coat when I'm eating) but there were still limited options. Overall it was a fun time. We plan to return when Santa isn't there.

Yelp
This is such aesthetic classic Irish Pub and the Ginger beer is so good. The celery didn't seemed ripe enough but the service is pretty fast and smooth. The staff are nice and helpful.

Yelp
Quigley's pub is always a great time. The service is great and our waitress was very attentive and gave great recommendations. We got the Reuben rolls, they are my favorite appetizer on the menu and the boneless wings are sensational. We also got the pretzels and beer cheese, but we're disappointed to find out they were regular hard pretzels with beer cheese. The drinks are amazing though! It feels like a true Irish pub with the lighting and decor

Yelp
I really enjoy Quigley's Irish Pub in downtown Naperville. As a consistent patron over the years, I really admire the service I receive each time I come in. Coming from a restaurant/ retail background myself, I know what it is like to serve others. I like to also bring my dog in as well which has been a fun experience. My dog loves the dog- sized chicken. The whole staff works hard and I appreciate the effort of the entire staff. Never has there been a time where service has been lacking in regards to my tea drink refills and getting food in a reasonable amount of time. This is definitely the best Irish Pub in the western suburbs. I have been to the Irish pubs in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn and they pale in comparison to the quality and variety of the menu. I also like to chat with some of the servers there as well. Thank you.
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
I love Quigley's! I have been coming here since I was 21. I take my kids here now. Every time I have to get the Ruben Rolls. They are the best I've ever had! I also love the Turkey Ruben and their Potato Chip Fries! It's a very cozy environment and I love the outdoor patio during the summer.

Yelp
I write this as I sit in an overcrowded, "seat yourself" Irish pub in downtown Naperville, which (as far as I know) has space in the building to rent to get more room, regularly has two people at booths or tables for 5-6+, and for the last FOUR TIMES I have been here, has not had Boddington's. This place is regularly understaffed, with kitchen delays, and missing amazing beers on tap for no reason they will share. Start designating booths as 4+ seats, rent out more space, and know your beers. And if it's a hiring problem, hire - there are over 300,000 unemployed in Illinois. At $13-15/hour right next to a college, hire, hire, hire! Food is decent though, when you get it.

Christopher L.

Yelp
Should be 0 stars. Sat for 20 minutes completely ignored and unacknowledged by servers - in an almost empty restaurant. Despite asking for a server to come to our table at the bar, still nobody did, just walked by ignoring us. Ridiculous waste of our time. On top of that the server saw us leaving and still didn't say a word. Won't be back.
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
I've been coming to Quiglys for a couple years with my family now and it's a great place to just grab a drink or a few. The food is pretty good, not too many options but it's bar food is over all good. There drinks menu is large and perfect place to try something new. Don't try to go with your Dog because they had tape and signs all over saying no dogs. The patio is usally very full on a friday night or weekend because it is seat yourself so plan accordingly!

Isiah S.

Yelp
The kitchen stayed open a little longer to serve us. The Shepard's Pie was a gift on Earth. The service we welcoming and really friendly. Ambiance was perfect for an Irish Pub

C H.

Yelp
Normally a good Irish pub for soccer. Unfortunately a staff member assured they'd have FA CUP matches Sunday but he was incorrect. I wouldn't have minded as English soccer is kind of niche and incomprehensible to the average layman but I had invited friends to join me.

Lynn L.

Yelp
Great food and service in an authentic Irish pub ambiance. This restaurant is a go-to location in Naperville. The owner, Nancy, is as good as they come.
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
The food is great and the service is, too. This is one of my favorite spots in Naperville. I highly recommend it!

Lauren C.

Yelp
The best giant pretzel!!! Great environment for all premier league games and drinks. Highly recommend the boneless wings
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
Chips were so delicious. Burger is a must. Fish and chips was great. Potatoe soup tasted very bland and tasted like it was not home made gravy consistency couldn't finish it, as well as the shepherds pie was not the greatest didn't taste that great would not order that again, tasted like instant made mashed potatoes or mix or something, But would definitely get the potatoe chip fries and that egg roll Rueben absolutely delicious and burgers. The chicken tenders was tasty as well. Lot of sauce options as well.

Trisha C.

Yelp
The food and drinks are great. Love sitting outside in the summer time. An Irish Pub!
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
It's what I expected. Frozen steamed vegetables, bland fish and chips. Shepherd's Pie meat is more tomato-y, almost chili flavor like. Server was nice and quick. We got quigled.

Tuefel H.

Yelp
Awesome place for music and drinks. The food is only going to be tasty if you are drunk. The potato leek soup was not creamy and had the consistency of glue.

Mariateresa M.

Yelp
I love Quigley's fish and chips and burgeEd but their St Patrick's special today- corned beef and cabbage was far from "special". Dry slices of tasteless beef and a quarter of boiled head of cabbage. Zero seasoning just taken out of the water, cut in quarter and served. The saving grace was a slice of soda bread. Seriously disappointing since it's an Irish pub after all. Expected much more from them today.
google avatar

Raymond W.

Yelp
Great Irish breakfast, and the Guinness is top notch. My wife loved the fish and chips.
google avatar

Gary D.

Yelp
I've lived in this area 8 years & cant believe I haven't made it here before. We went on a Sat. Night, ate outside on their nice patio area. They allow dogs here although I'm not a big fan of that I know many are these days. Being an Irish pub you'd expect a really good beer selection & you'd be correct. The food was good, I had the Shepard's pie & it was pretty tasty. The soda bread that came with it was awesome. She had a chicken wrap & enjoyed it. Prices were what you'd expect for downtown Naperville. They have live music & the band that night sounded great from outside. A very good Irish pub in the heart of Naperville!
google avatar

S D.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful bar physically it's beautiful, service is decent bar service could be better, Guinness pours are good. The food depending on what you get you get it's either an 8 out of 10 like those Reuben rolls or corned beef bites or a 1 out of 10 like their fish and chips which you get two small frozen fried wedges of fish. They need to take a note from Duke Perth pub in Chicago Wrigleyville area beer batter, fresh fish with great side of green peas. It's hot fresh. I would think Quigley's being an Irish bar would do better with this dish.
google avatar

Phiona R.

Yelp
Nothing short of a great dinner! It's not often I have irish food, and this was definitely the way to go. I ordered the irish classic, beef and cabbage, and everything tasted tender and fresh. Also tried some fish tacos which were surprisingly done very very well I highly recommend those from Quigley's. The spinach dip was bubbling and SO cheesy! The chips were my favorite part of each dish, and the bacon bbq cheeseburger was solid. On top of the great food was the admirable service! Considering I was seated with three obnoxious prepubescent boys, our waitress was kind and very attentive. In town? Definitely stop by Quigley's for good food and a good time!
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Had a fantastic beer, burger, and the Irish band was awesome! Love this place. Will be back here soon I hope!

Sudhakar R.

Yelp
Great outdoor dining that's dog-friendly in downtown Naperville! Pretty much every table had a dog or two!! Stuck with traditional Irish fare, corned beef sandwich and fish & chips. Nice beer selection on tap. Couscous as a side option for the corned beef sandwich was a surprise. Overall, a nice place to spend a summer evening with your friends, both two and four legged!
google avatar

Thomas R.

Yelp
Such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to all people. On a recent visit I saw staff helping an elderly man to his table and giving him affectionate care. Rarely have I seen such humanity at a bar. I've been coming here for two decades and have never had a bad experience. Friendly and helpful wait staff, a caring owner, and consistently good food. The place gets crowded, but I can see why. Come on an off hour (not Friday and Saturday night) if you don't like crowds - it's really that simple. The owner, Nancy, has been charitable and visible in the community. Few business owners in Naperville have been so generous to those in need. Highly recommend supporting them and this amazing Irish pub.
google avatar

Elliot G.

Yelp
Disappointed that on a Saturday night they didn't have a traditional Irish band! Music on the night unfortunately didn't fit the vibe of the Pub. Food was okay. We got the corned beef bites as an appetizer and what arrived was 2 pieces of sliced bread with deli meat and melted cheese. Certainly another disappointment! Has a lot more potential than what was offer tonight
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
This restaurant is so cute inside and out. I loved the cozy feeling the inside had. It has really nice private booths and multiple rooms to choose from when dining in. The bar wrapped around and was beautiful. The service was helpful and very friendly. The corned beef sandwich had very generous portion size and was delicious. The corned beef rolls were really good too. They are on special Wednesday's and other specific hours during the week. I also tried a salted caramel hot chocolate drink that had caramel baileys in it and loved it. I can't wait to come back and try the fish and chips.
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
Quigley's has lovely outdoor eating spaces with several different sections if you are looking for some safe outdoor eating during the Covid 19 pandemic. Guests and staff were all following safety protocols when my friend and I ate here, tables were distanced, staff wore masks and sanitized menus between guests, masks were worn by guests until they were seated, etc. I had a delicious turkey Reuben sandwich with the Irish chips- and those were just as good as the sandwich. Our server was friendly- a bit overwhelmed because it was so busy (no outdoor table was empty while we were there)- but attentive and effective. I would definitely feel safe eating here again and the food was delicious!

Mirella G.

Yelp
Cool Irish Pub! We went there tonight (Saturday night) and it was packed. We left when the band was about to start but we had a good time. We ordered: Fish and chips - tasty Reuben Sandwich- "really good" Sheppard's pie - "one of the best he has ever had" We had a great time and we'd go back!
