Always crowded, but they will find you a seat
Situated in one of the many Tew’s
Service a tad slow during busy times, but that should only bother you if are catching a bus or being pursued by the Police
Vast selection of breakfast nibbles, and I even spotted a Stew !

Great Tew
Records date back to the Domesday Book (1086)
For centuries, it was part of a large manor and farming estate.
During the 17th century, it became known as a “centre of intellectual life” under Lucius Cary, 2nd Viscount Falkland, who gathered philosophers and thinkers.
In the Victorian era, the village was effectively a “model village,” with estate workers living in tied cottages.
